The wasteland area. Man was it hot. At least 80 degrees, no lower. The sand on the ground decided to go into the air as the winds picked up. A large beast stood out; its purple skin helped with that. The monsters arms had hands that split near the middle of the forearm, spines going up to the elbow. It rose it head and roared, ready to battle the blue titan in front of it.

Kedos peeled his lips back as he was teleported into the area, showcasing thin, pearly white teeth that glinted like metal in the harsh sunlight. The sea dragon was still in a fowl mood from the events in the Arctic, and the UCA demanding that he venture out and fight once more did nothing to better that situation. Beads of seawater formed across the scaly skin of the drake as he was bathed in heat from above. The Storm Bringer huffed. So he was fight in a place with no water... almost assuredly a punishment for his unauthorized fight with Charybdis. He would have to make due with the briny water trapped beneath his scales, assuming that it did not dry up before the fight's end.
Other than that, he had only his teeth and claws.
Which was more than enough.
"I hope you feel like dying today, wretch," muttered the dragon as he glared at Vonro, projecting all his anger at Charybdis and UCA upon the purple reptilian. "Because I do not feel like showing any mercy."

Vonro glared at the lumbering titan before him. He snarled as it started to circle him, readying itself. Vonro was impressed by is appearance; it clearly has won some brutal battles in its time. But to Vonro, this only fueled its drive to defeat this angry monster.
Vonro surged forward, smashing its forearm into the chest of Kedos. At first it seemed if Kedos would be knocked back slightly, but something kept him in place. Kedos smashed his hand into Vonro's head, stunning the violet beast. Vonro stepped back, holding its head. Good; it was hoping it earned those scars, plus these ones.
The blue monster met its face with a savage swipe to the face when it tried to press its advantage. Vonro cut Kedos face up slightly with the strike. Being emboldened by this, Vonro then kicked Kedos hard in the gut, shoving it slightly. While Kedos was recovering from the blow, Vonro went for another swipe with its jagged forearm, aiming for the head. It wanted to beat this monster, and fast; this heat is ridiculous.

The ragged protrusion struck hard across the skull of the drake, making his head bow and sending scales and blood spiraling through the air, but a set of saberlike claws caught the spiny forelimb as it was drawn back from the blow. Kedos snarled in rage as he held the limb of the purple brute tight, the scales on the bottom of his feet flaring to hook into the earth and anchor him to the ground. He had been caught off guard, the dragon admitted inwardly, by the ferocity of the reptilian beast. But no beast, no matter the strength of its bite or the volume of its roar, could strike the Demon of the Deep without paying in blood! With a sharp tug on the trapped forearm of his foe, Kedos hauled Vonro forward while spinning his body on a heel so that his side crashed into the purple monster's. Like an endless bed of sawblades, the serrated skin of the dragon bit into the other giant, grating loudly across where the ribs of the beast protruded like armor and spilling blood wherever there was no protection.
"You cannot even touch Kedos without giving up portions of your life, mongrel," growled the Storm Bringer as he felt the hot fluid flow over his already stained scales. "Give up now or suffer further."
Without waiting for compliance or refute, the dragon pulled back and slammed his tail against the wounded side of the purple one, rupturing sliced flesh and sending a curling cloud of crimson into the air. Drawing the vaporous blood towards his claws and freezing it into a set of four icy daggers, the sea monster stabbed downward and gored the burly chest of the barbaric hero, talons slicing in deep just below the armpit of the downed brute. Stealing more blood and turning his claws into a proper scythe that curled from the end of his arm like a ragged beak, the dragon sneered before slashing with a grunt, his icy blade aimed at the throat of his opponent...
Like Vonro, Kedos wanted this battle over quickly. No mercy, no flash. Just defeat, complete and utter.
For once, the dragon had absolutely no desire to showboat.

That was fine in Vonro's book; it hated arrogance. Althoguh Kedos was fast for his size, Vonro was able to react fast enough only to not get stabbed in the face. Instead, its shoulder took the brunt of the blade, making Vonro roar in pain. It retaliated by kicking Kedos hard in the gut, getting it away. Vonro thought over its options, and decided it had no choice, It opened its mouth as wide as it could, and started to breath heavily.
Kedos was unhappy that it had missed, but it inflicted pain nonetheless, and he was fine with that. If you can wear an opponent down, they'll eventually just stop fighting. Then you can finish them at your leisure...
Kedos came at the monster, but this was a bad idea. Vonro rose its head back as a bright light formed in its mouth, then fired a massive beam that slammed even Kedos to the ground, his chest burning from an acidic property in the beam that was already hot. Vonro stood, skull steaming form the heat of its own weapon. Vnro wasn't done; it wanted to show Kedos it wasn't going to overpower Vonro without effort.
Vonro slammed its foot into its skull, Kedos roaring in rage and pain. Vonro planned on taking this advantage to new levels, as it rose one of its arms into the air as it prepared to rake the spikes across its skull...

Before Vonro could slice down with the ragged weapon, Kedos surged forward with an angry roar, blood and smoke swirling behind him like a comet's tail, and plowed into the other giant. The curved claws of the dragon found the wound they had already inflicted near the bipedal reptile's underarm and raked hard across his chest, opening the fresh injury almost ten meters longer until it reached the opposite armpit. A thick curtain of blood spurted out of the terrible horizontal wound and Vonro bellowed in rage before delivering a savage headbutt to drive the dragon back. Blood and outrage sputtered from Kedos's jaws as he staggered away from his foe, though just because he had left claw's range of his opponent did not mean he had no way to attack him...
Vonro marched forward, spiny forearms raised to clobber Kedos again, but a flick of the drake's hand froze the blood spilling from his chest and sent it boring back into him, a crimson waterfall of blades in reverse!
The purple reptilian howled and collapsed backwards as he was drilled into by a sheet of red ice. Vaporizing the blood that had trickled into his eyes from his split brow, Kedos sneered and stomped forward, dead optics lit bright by cold malice. The Demon of the Deep sent his foot crashing down on the skull of the writhing beast, returning the favor that the brute had committed upon him earlier, though the sole of his foot was covered by hooked scales that stripped away skin and flesh like a giant grater. The northern sea drake curled his lips as his heel twisted and dug in.
He wanted the purple one to know: he would not be overcome so easily either.
Stepping back, the sand he stood on turning black beneath a blood-splattered heel, the dragon whirled around and lashed out with his muscular tail. This time, it was the flattened edge, not the thick stem, of the paddlelike limb that slashed towards Vonro just like a scaly, blue axe...

Vonro was only able to dodge slightly, so that its chest wasn't hit. Instead, its right shoulder was hit by the blade-like tail, blood spraying into the air. Vonro roared in pain, then in rage as it grabbed the tail. Vonro got up, and yanked on the tail to aggravate the blue behemoth. Kedos turned around only to be met with a forearm to the face that dragged backwards away, tearing up the scales on Kedos' face. Kedos roared in rage, charging the other monster. But Vonro was able to get out of the way, letting Kedos barrel past. But when Kedos turned around for another attack, Vonro was charging at it, and was directly in front of it, running straight for it. Vonro hunched down, preparing for impact. Kedos was confident in its scale on its feet, and only crossed its jagged arms.
But when Vonro met, it threw its arms up in a slashing motion, raking the spikes against the chest of Kedos as it slammed into it. Although the scales on the feet have been able to hold Kedos' position, the sand moving and the impact of the purple giant knocked Kedos hard into the grond, the blue monster roaring in anger. How dare this monster attack it. Vonro rose one massive leg and brought it down hard onto Kedos' chest, another roar of rage exiting Kedos' split lips.
Vonro backed off, and crossed its arms against its chest, and started to run again at the downed behemoth...

The raging behemoth plowed into Kedos, shoving him hard against the ground and splitting his raised hide with the sheer force of impact. Black rivers ran over the sandy landscape as Kedos wallowed in his own blood. A downed dragon was not to be underestimated though. Snarling in rage, the fallen sea monster lifted a webbed foot and flared the sharp scales that covered its rugged sole before slamming it into Vonro's kneecap. The purple bruiser howled in agony, leg going stiff and numb and spurting blood from a joint stripped of all skin as he dropped straight backwards. Kedos rose as the hero fell, looming over the collapsed brute just as it had done to him only moments before.
"Kedos will make your regret surpass the pain you feel for facing him."
With a snap of his claws, the demon drake from the north knotted a mass of water in the gut of the other giant before detonating it through spontaneous vaporization. It was as if a grenade had gone off in the virtuous brawler's body cavity, shaking his whole body with brutal vibrations and pushing bloody saliva and mucus from all its orifices. Planting a foot onto the titan's pulverized belly and deploying serrated denticles into his flesh like anchors, the Storm Bringer glowered down at the chivalrous savage and drew his claws into a tight fist, the motion freezing all of the crimson liquid that oozed from Vonro's nostrils and mouth, blocking his airways. Kedos was trying to suffocate the bipedal reptilian creature!
"Die slowly, wretch."

But Vonro was not to be so easily defeated. It twisted its head, breaking the ice, and it started coughing up the frozen blood. Vonro looked at the monste before it as it weakly stood, and then started its assault.
Vonro opened with a savage forearm into the face of Kedos, tearing up the flesh on his face badly. Kedos responded by slamming his fist into Vonro's face, sending it to thr ground. Vonro got up slowly, Kedos glaring at it as it did so. Well, Vonro thoguht, it was time to bust out a signature maneuver. Vonro crossed its arms, and then they lit on fire. Before Kedos was able to react, Vonro swung its blazing right arm at Kedos' chest, the spikes digging deep into the flesh, pain shooting through Kedos as the plasmic flame scalded its being. But the spikes stuck fast into the flesh, and the force of Vonro's swing knocked Kedos to the ground in the direction the arm swung.
Vonro roared in pain as its knee started to hurt from standing on it, and to exact vengeance on this appendage, it took the burning left arm and dragged it against the knee of Kedos, ripping the flesh and searing the muscle. Blood sprayed from the knee, Kedos roaring in rage. Vonro rose its right arm, now extinguished, and sent it towards Kedos' face...

Kedos deflected the blow with a spiny red forearm, the toothed strike raking down his tough scales and ripping a few away with small squirts of blood. The dragon curled his lips. It stung, but it was better that being swatted across the face. Sneering in rage, Kedos flicked his snout and froze the blood spurting from his shredded kneecap into an icy crimson spike. Pushing himself upright with a wallop of his tail, the sea monster wrangled his foe around the skull and heaved his down, forcing Vonro to double over onto his knee. Hot blood sprayed over cold ice as the purple reptile writhed and howled. Kedos chuckled and ground his knee into the wound, rolling the joint back and forth to saw deeper into his skewered enemy.
Pushing Vonro away suddenly, the Demon of the Deep slashed down with his claws and caught his opponent in the jaw and neck, carving four blood lines from the corner of his mouth to near his shoulder. The heroic brute flashed all of his fangs as pain spilled across his face. Catching the blood that splattered from the barbaric guardian's neck in a telekinetic net and flattening it into liquid sheets nearly a single molecule in depth each, the Storm Bringer curled his fingers and swung them like blades. The thin fluid weapons bit into Vonro like a series of katanas, inflicting wound that, while very clean and relatively painless, went deep, almost hacking into bone as they passed clear through skin, flesh, and veins.
Reaching towards the set of fresh wounds with his twisted brain, the northern drake gripped the flowing blood that was tumbling out and attempted to freeze it in order to break Vonro's tough flesh like cold earth after a hard rain...
