The beach is tranquil, and a cool ocean breeze is blowing gently. The beautiful blue ocean glistens and reflects the suns warm light. Then, there's a brilliant flash of light, and it seems as if the heavens just spat something out. Music playsFuego Justos is standing on one point of the sandy crescent beach. His feet are in love with the nice warm sand, and the thought of his desert volcano home instantly comes to mind. He'd never seen an ocean so blue before. Then he turned and saw the opposite point of the crescent, a familiar light shining above. He felt nothing but an overwhelming feeling of pure evil. Whatever he was going to see on that beach was not going to be friendly, and he immediately snapped out of his previous swooned state. He beat his chest with his right hand two times before growling viciously. He would plant his feet into the ground, ready to either brace or pounce at any given moment. This may be his first fight, but he already knew it was going to take more than beginners luck to win this. "I fear no evil."

The veil of light on the opposite side of the bay parted and a grinning face pushed through the curtain of electrons with an aggressive bark. Fainis cracked open her jaws, chiseled black teeth flashing like bloodstained daggers in her mouth, and laughed, loud and deep. The satanic hound could practically taste the self righteousness of the creature who stood across the dark, rippling water- a crocodilian beast of some sort. It would be fun cutting him down and showing him just how wrong his ideas of right and wrong were. Might was what ruled this reality and all others, not justice or anything resembling it.
The smile of the chimeric canine faltered when she realized just how much water surrounded her. Fainis growled. The wolf was beginning to suspect that the UCA was purposely sending her damp, wet places after discovering her aversion to water. Perhaps twice in a row was not yet a pattern, but that did not matter much to the hound as she opened her maw and blasted the sand around her in outrage, turning it to burning slag that slid into the bay with violent bursts of steam and became winding rafts of obsidian. Soon a tangled network of glass docks stretched out into the sea, just wide enough for the devil dog to stride out onto and stare menacingly out at her opponent...

This was not what Fuego Justos was expecting. Not in the slightest. He was expecting a challenge; instead he got a mutt. This wasn't important, however, and after a brief hiss, F.J. dove headfirst into the water. The Mutt on the other end of the beach was not very far, but he didn't want to attack it head on just like that. Instead, F.J. swam around the beast, constantly changing depth and speed to try to confuse the animal. After a few minutes of this, out of nowhere Fuegos Justos leaped out of the water head-first straight into Fainis. The tackle caused the both of them to roll around on the sand for a few seconds, but they stood up swiftly and the fight was on.
F.J. would swing his massive tail around to be pointing towards Fainis from the right side of his body. He would thrust with his tail, trying to attack Fainis' left shoulder. She had other plans, however, and briskly moved out of the way and bit down on his tail with her middle head. He would let out a small roar in pain, as her two other heads laugh maniacally. "I'll give you something to laugh about." he thought as he pulled his tail back towards his body, and her along with it. As she was flying towards him, he would reach with his right hand and grip her middle head by the throat. He would lift her up and toss her across the sand, but not too far. Wouldn't want her to get away now would we? As she was on the ground, F.J. would lumber over to her and give a powerful kick to the scorpion claws and underbelly, sending her a few more feet down the beach, getting dangerously close to the water. Fuego Justos would chant the words "Upon the wicked He shall rein snares, fire, and brimstone." before opening his mouth and letting gallons upon gallons of glorious, bright yellow liquid plasma spew in a controlled stream headed directly towards Fainis.

The scalding fluid splashed across the fur coat of the bitch queen, causing her jagged pelt to steam and smoke like tinder, but the sharp cry that arose from Fainis was one of amusement, not agony. The new combatant's inexperience was showing already. As a fresh face in the UCA, the crocodilian hero did not yet know that the Hound of Destruction resisted heated attacks! The liquid nature of the plasma belch made it at least marginally more effective than an assault by flames, the glowing ether soaking past the fire retardant fur of the wolf and sizzling against her black skin, but it was still not enough to phase the chimera for more than a second or two. Lunging up at the armored goliath before its toothy jaws closed, Fainis sank her fangs into the exposed throat of the giant and shook her head savagely, splattering blood and tissue like water. As the plated titan bellowed in rage, the scorpion tail of the devil dog struck, plunging its stinger into the palate of the roaring beast. White hot pain spread through the juggernaut's maw like fire as the organic acid that dripped from the barbed spear soaked into the soft pink flesh.
Leaping away before the volcanic monster could snap down on her tail, Fainis left Fuego with an open jugular and a pained mouth as she danced around him like an oversized puppy. Giggling breathily and nipping at the heels and tail of the staggered champion as she lingered behind him, careful to watch the serrated bladed that curved from the end of his length, the Empress of Chaos barked playfully at the hulking reptile. She wondered if he still thought of her as a stupid animal. Gnashing teeth flashing with hellish light, the canine devil suddenly unloaded with a blast of demonic essence. The blast of burning atmosphere bore into the back of the armored titan, failing to breach the overlapping plates, but at least scorching them and bowling the scaly amphibian over.
Pouncing onto the fallen hero, Fainis pressed her barred teeth against the back of his neck, pinning his head against the ground while her shoulder-mounted dragon heads pushed forward to slam down on the arms of the ancient guardian...

This was surprising. He didn't expect her to be this fast, or this strong. Or to even be able to resist his plasma attack. She was indeed a powerful opponent. "But I hope she likes water." Fuego Justos thought as he roared in pain from the two heads biting into his arms. As she was attacking him from the top, his tail would sneak around and wrap around her left hind leg, some serrations getting caught in the fur. He would hoist his tail into the air then slam it down with a force equivalent to 2 empire state buildings collapsing on top of her. She, of course, took some chunks of hide from the back of his arms. "It'll grow back." he thought as he slowly stood up.
With his serration still caught on the fur of Fainis' hind leg, Fuego Justos would hurl the giant creature forward, past his own huge body and into the once calm, blue sea now sizzling with steam from blood and hot plasma. She would skid across the ocean surface for a few hundred feet before coming to a rest and would begin to doggy paddle. In her bizarre snarl-howl-giggle language she would shout insults and be vulgar about all things good as she desperately tried to swim for land.
F.J. would spit out a clump of blood that had been forming in his mouth. He would feel up and reach his neck, wiping some blood off of him and onto the ground. The sand would sizzle. He felt his palate with his tongue. It felt extra sensitive. "I better keep her away from that."he thought as he jumped into the ocean headfirst, the water steaming.
He swam over to her location in less than 5 seconds and saw her still trying to doggy paddle. He came around to face the back of her, and just when she started to spew some fire to at least try to get her out of the water, Fuego Justos jutted his head up and grabbed her back two tails. The scorpion stinger and snake head were now in his mouth, and he bit down harder on the both of them as he dragged the damn dog deeper into the water with him. In the water with the tails still in his mouth, F.J. would shake his head violently, roll around, and reel his head back, pulling off chunks of flesh and exoskeleton. He would let go of the tails and briskly swim up from where Fainis was. He'd turn around and swim down towards the mutt at his top speed, hoping to tackle the dog and bring it even further down into the water.

The crocodilian cruiser slammed into the struggling hound like a missile of meat and armor, pushing her further into the shadowy deep. The flailing wolf was swallowed up by the dark depths, prompting Fuego to chase after her- she was wounded prey out of her element after all. But the volcanic beast was surprised when his slitted eyes failed to find her. The aquatic brute paused with a lash of his tail. Where had the multiheaded fiend gone? Could she swim better than she had let on and escaped him somehow? As curious and he was annoyed, Fuego headed towards the surface to investigate. If Fainis had eluded him, that is where she would head, where she still held the upper hand in mobility.
Warily, Fuego lumbered ashore on all fours. His yellow eyes roved in search of his foe. A flash of evil golden light from below caught his attention, but he wrote it off as the reflection of his gaze on the water's surface. Then it occurred to him that he had left the sea. Before the thought computed, his shadow parted and a set of dark teeth streaked upwards. Vicious fangs gored his underarm, punching through the leathery hide that protected Fuego and striking a layer of soft flesh and hot blood that spewed out like a geyser. Fuego was toppled over onto his back by the rapid swell of fur and dark skin beneath him. As Fainis stood up, the hero fell, exposing his less protected underside. Black crystalline claws raked across the ribbed belly of the beast, splitting the taunt scales that stretched across the armored bands. Grumbling in outrage and pain, Fuego drove Fainis back with a heavy wallop of his tail. As the devil dog stumbled back, stunned by the slap, the plated reptile attempted to flip himself back over. Shaking off the fuzz that clung to her brain after the hard hit to her head and side, Fainis decided to assist him with a volley of hellfire. The beam of burning agony burst against the side of the champion, exploding and sending Fuego tumbling across the fire-laced sand.
Chasing after the rolling guardian as if he were a limp squirrel, Fainis bared her fangs, which glowed with embers, and lunged for the head of the savage protector, hoping to clamp his jaws shut and twist his neck about...

... But Fuego Justos had other plans, and as Fainis jumped, he shifted his head and body, aiming his smaller horn right towards her shoulder. As she impaled herself, and her blood dripped down onto his snout, F.J. stood up abruptly, brought his head down towards his chest and forcefully pushed up, throwing the dog off balance and causing her to fall onto her back. F.J. leaped on top of her, placing his left leg on her right-most dragon head and his right leg on her middle dog head.
She would try to claw at his legs with both her "normal" dog legs and her chitin-esque talons. She would dig into his legs, but would but be strong enough to push him off. As she tried to attack his weakened back plates with her Scorpion stinger, F.J. would stab the tail with his own tail, piercing it all the way through and having it connect with the soft sand beneath them.
Fuego Justos reach for the left-most dragon head as it laughed in agony. He would reach his long claws into the beasts mouth to keep it open, as he opened his own and was preparing to spew another stream of plasma, except this time down the dogs throat. He noticed her coat and skin resisted his previous attack, but he wondered if her gullet could be just as retardant.

The bitch queen laughed as the crocodilian hero pried open her jaws. It was a clever idea, she admitted that much, but she spat and breathed the very fires of hell! Her throat could not be burned. So, after the armored bruiser had vomited his molten bile into her maw, she belched it back up along with a blast of demonic flames! The burning mixture of liquid and vapor plasma collided with Fuego's face like a bomb, scattering across his toughened hide and creating lines of fire over blackened scales. Eyesight stolen by the smoke from the explosion, Fuego blindly threw his skull forward and managed to land a massive headbutt on Fainis.
The wolf fell back with a sharp yelp. Blood sprayed from where the other creature's two horns had connected with her brow and muzzle. Pained snarl becoming an angry sneer, the chimeric hound sprung forward and caught the retreating jaws of the plated giant with her rightmost dragon head. The craggy drake's maw crunched down and pierced the taunt scales that stretched across of the skull of the beast, shredding straight through and grinding against the dense bone underneath. Fuego hissed as the vibrations went directly through his brain and inner ears, causing immense discomfort. The hardy length of the volcano dweller twitched and writhed involuntarily.
Vicious black grin igniting, the Mother of All Murderer unleashed a hell flare from her yawning gob. The sadistic being raked the beam across the belly of the protective monster, twisting her right head up so that the center skull had a broader area to blast. The leathery underside of the brute was split shallowly by the focused slash of oxidized air, exposing the deeper, more vulnerable tissues. Giggling madly, the hound snapped her jaws shut, tilted her head down, and prepared to cut deeper with a second sweep of concentrated fire and continue her impromptu dissection...
