CeruleanVS HeraArena: City NOTE: There is a lake nearby that allows Cerulean some water to work with, but it is not deep enough to be anything other than a wading pool for monsters. Ref: Needed

It had been some weeks since Hera had been last in a fight. The dragonic kaiju was considered one of the most dangerous in the UCA since she was such a relentless force of hatred, matching higher monsters such as Darklore and Lord Malice just by her sheer ferocity toward everything when she was conscious. So keeping her unconscious was the plan for when she was not fighting. The serpentine female blundered along in her pen, still on her drug to keep her from lashing out like a cornered animal.
Without announcing it to her, she was suddenly beamed from her small home and out into the city streets. As soon as clean air was entering her nose, she began to become aware of her blurry surroundings. Then she began to remember where she was.... held against her will and in this alien world. Frustration took a split second to turn into overwhelming rage, and as soon as she could muster it, reared her head back in a furry filled roar that rocked the city. With as swing of her head, she launched a fireball right down the street and rocketing into the base of a towering building. The structure erupted in a massive explosion forced its way through its hallow interior, blowing out windows and setting the concrete building into a monster sized bonfire.
She saw this place looked human... so she assumed it was human, and took off into the air like a lite bottle-rocket to begin tearing this place down with all her might. She had no clue she was about to enter a fight like no other...

Another beam of light heralded the arrival of the second dragon on the scene. Cerulean blinked her eyes as she tried to clear the spots away and got her first look at where she was. The first thing she noticed was that she was in a human city. The second, was that it was on fire, courtesy of another draconic entity. Hera was busy setting fire to her surroundings and genrally being destructive and wrathful, not unlike her previous fight with Ketos.
Cerulean took aim with her freezer beam and doused some of the flames as a means of catching her opponent's attention. Hera snarled as she whirled around to face Cerulean, a look of rage and contempt on her face. But Cerulean was undeterred. She would put down this beast like she had her last opponent. She focused her hydrokinetics on the nearby lake and generated a suit of frost armor as she readied herself for Hera's assault.

It wasn't ten seconds before Hera had closed the distance between herself and the dragon. Cerulean waited until the last moment to move, bringing up her tail and with it, a wall of water. Naturally, Hera collided right into it with a thud and stopped her cold in her tracks, so to speak.
Cerulean snorted, finding that too easy. Before she could do anything else though, the wall of ice suddenly exploded in a fiery hell storm. She had to cover her her face with a wing to avoid all the debris, flinching away from the burst of power. Only a second later, a wall of fire hit her like a brick wall. It made he back up slowly as Hera bared down with flames from the deepest part of her gut. Cerulean was lucky to be rather immune to such burning attacks... at least for now.
Before the flames could begin to do anything, Cerulean pulled water from the lake nearby and struck Hera in the side like a kaiju-sized fire hose. The angry dragon quickly turned on the water and attacked it, spitting fire as if she was going to kill the water. With the opening, Cerulean opened her maw and spat a beam of cold frost right into the monsters wing. Easily getting her attention, Hera whipped around like cut snake.
Cerulean tried to pull away bit the powerful jaws on the serpentine dragon latched onto her neck without any restraint. A struggle began between the two, rolling around violently as the true dragon tried to get the angry female off. Ice blades formed around her claws and she dug into the flesh on Hera's neck. Not that it could get the beast off that easily, as the beartrap of teeth dug deeper and shattered the icy armor that was already melting from the hot breath in the squamata's jaws. Soon blood began flowing. The taste made Hera thrashing her head as hard as she could, trying to snake her enemies neck. In a panic, Cerulean pulled back as hard as she could. As result, a large chunk of flesh was torn right from her already scared neck.
Hera tumbled back and tossed the flesh aside, already throwing herself at Cerulean again for more...

Cerulean countered with another swipe of her tail, and with it, another wall of ice. Unlike before, this one was covered in spikes and shards, which perforated Hera's hide as she smashed through it in pursuit of her prey. While it failed to stop her opponent, it did gve Cerulean enough time to take to the air and wing her way over the city, bombarding Hera with shots from her freezer beam. Ice crystals formed across Hera's wings and legs, binding her to the water and slowing her down further, but not for long.
With a mighty roar, the squamata dragon burst free from her icy prison and took to the skies, heading straight at Cerulean with murder in her eyes. Cerulean attempted to dodge, but was caught off guard by her opponent's superior agility as Hera juked and dodged with her, as if anticipating every move she would make. Cerulean was astounded that something so wrathful could seem so smart, even as Hera collided with her in mid-air, clawing and biting as the two of them spiraled towards the ground. At the last possible second, Cerulean managed to kick free, smashing through the top floors of a building on her way out, while Hera just smashed into the ground, cratering the earth and smashing into the sewer lines.
Cerulean picked herself up out of the rubble and observed the geysers of water where Hera had broken through the asphault and smirked. Even here, there was plenty to play with, as she focused on the water running through the pipes beneath the street, ripping it out of the earth itself before focusing a giant stream of water right at the stunned Hera...

Hera was about to get up, but then the onslaught of water hit her and made her recoil. Soon it was getting colder and colder, water freezing against her body. Cerulean had her now, she could just sense it... Maybe a tad to early. In a sudden fit, Hera had reared her head up and roared, before spitting a massive ball of flame down into the ground in front of her. The explosion interrupted the water for just a moment, giving Hera time to run from the scene and toward a nearby skyscraper.
Cerulean lips curled and snarled in irritation, and was soon to give chase. While in pursuit, she pulled moisture from around her and created several small diamond shape shards of ice; Each hard as possible with the natural element. Without hesitation, she launched a sparkling storm of beautiful death after her enemy.
Hera had to move fast. She didn't fly for some reason, which was odd for her since she almost always flew in her battles. Each step of her clawed wings crushed buildings as she held no restraint from crushing things on accident. The shards came and landed all around her, several hitting her in the armored back and making her shrill in slight pain. That's when she whirled around and faced her oncoming enemy. Multiple fireballs began erupting from her throat and back to Cerulean.
In a split second, Cerulean was on the defense. The first fireball she had simply ducked under, but as she rose she had to bring up a wall of ice that immediately was blown into diamond dust. She found herself repeating the dodges and blocks over and over, doing her beast not to get hit by one of those bomb like attacks.
Suddenly they had stopped, and she realized how much moisture was blocking her own vision, which was her own strategy. Quickly she condensed it with her mind, making it fall to the ground... Just as a large building was flung at her by the dragon to try and hit her like a ton of bricks... and concrete, cement and iron.

Cerulean had to act fast, as she fired her freezer beam at the oncoming structure, chilling it down to almost absolute zero. She was unaffected by the cold, but it did lessen the impact some as the building shattered upon impact, driving her to the ground with thousands of ice shards all around her. Cerulean was a thinking creature, and even though she couldn't avoid the hit, she planned ahead. Now she had a weapon, as ice coated chunks of concrete and steel levitated off the ground around her, circling her like the rings of some planets.
Hera snarled as she fired off more gouts of flame, which were each blocked in turn as Cerulean shifted her shield around, absorbign blows meant for her, before launching the bulk of it at Hera, full force. The squamata dragon yowled in agony as shards of ice ripped her flesh apart in a storm of crystal and blood. Thousands of relatively tiny cuts peforated Hera's flesh, each one insignificant of its own, but when combined became truly devastating.
When the storm finally relented, the chunks of ice falling inert to the ground, Cerulean took aim with her freezer beam and fired at Hera's face, coating her maw in a muzzle of ice, and momentarily blinding the dragon to her true intentions as she focused her hydrokinesis on the sewer lines beneath a nearby large building, destabilizing it and collapsing it right at Hera. Turnabout was only fair play...

Hera shrilled as the weight of concrete and steel came toppling down on her. She was completely buried by the man made structure, leaving only clouds of dust pluming up from the chaotic mess that was once order.
Cerulean stared for a long moment, braced and ready for anything. All was quiet... not even a peep. With no signs of life, the proud dragon began to relax in the though that this is victory. She turned away, beginning to walk and go home. But a warrior should never let there guard down. The pile of ruble rumbled and quaked, making Cerulean turn around in realization that this was not over.
Not to disappoint, the remains of the building erupted in a firestorm of flame and sent debris everywhere. Small bits harmlessly bounced off Ceruleans hide. Hera jumped forth like a jack in the box, her eyes seeing red in anger as she came down on Cerulean, jurassic park raptor style. With the force of the fall, Hera brought her claw straight into the dragons face with a sickening crack!
Cerulean recoiled in pain as a tooth was split and dislodged in her jaw. The ice armor on her head splintered and shattered with the force as well. It was not over! Hera began a flurry of blows toward Cerulean's head with her clawed wings. Doing her best to just get away from the barrage, the dragon was backing up to avoid them.
Then Hera's jaws came. She lunged like an angry viper and aimed for Cerulean's face. Gruesome success... Her jaws smashed down like a vice right into of Cerulean's muzzle. Cartilage snapped and twisted as the force came down with such pain and agony. The two began to jerk and tumble around as Hera refused to release her hold. Small blows exchanged as they tossed and turned, but Hera had none of it. She in fact was aiming to rip this true dragons face off as she began to pull and yank back on Cerulean's to rip try and rip off some of it...

Cerulean struggled to free herself fromt he vise-like grip of her opponent, but Hera was simply too strong. If she could not make her let go through superior strength, then she would have to make do with superior firepower, as she thrust one hand forward, embedding her talons in one of th emany open wounds generated by her ice storm earlier. She could feel her opponent's blood flowing over her flsh, and how it was getting hotter and hotter by the second. Hera ignored it at first, but soon was unable to do that, as steam began pouring from the pores in her flesh and the gaps in her armor as Cerulean's touch literally boiled the blood in her very veins.
Hera was forced to finally relent, screaming in agony as she thrashed and squalled, in too much agony to notice Cerulean generate a massive ice spear and telekinetically throw it at her opponent, piercing Hera's shoulder with it's sparkling tip. The force of the blow tumbled Hera over as Cerulean took to the skies before perching atop a nearby building. She turned her freezer beam on a structure, already damaged form their struggles, and froze a section solid, before mentally crushing the ice and collapsing the building on top of Hera. Once more, Hera was buried under hundreds of tons of rubble.
But Cerulean didn't trust her opponent to stay down, a caution that was soon rewarded as Hera burst from her tomb, firing explosive projectiles as she emerged, a few managing to strike Cerulean in the chest. The water dragon just growled as she generated another hunk of ice and prepared to drop it on Hera's head...

Given that she was still high up and away, Hera could easily see this attack coming. Not given Cerulean a chance, Hera began moving and fast! Yes, she was better in the air, but she could move across the ground rather quickly too.
Cerulean found it difficult to just throw a big spear with the expectation that it would hit. The thing is, she had more in her bag of tricks then just one plan in mind. As Hera weaved in and out of the streets, the dragon threw the spear, racing down toward the angry female. In mid flight, Cerulean spread her fingers to cause the spear to burst, turning it into another rainstorm of the one attack.
Quickly Hera opened her wings and began to take into the air, surely to avoid the attack. Hopes were quickly dashed as the water dragon gestured up, causing the tiny spears to come alive and change direction! Like a shotgun and a pheasant, the spears went up and hit Hera. In pain she fumbled in mid air, almost falling from the sky. Instead of falling, she flew into a towering building and clung to the concrete with her claws like a bat on a cave wall.
Her gaze turned to Cerulean who was still in her spot. She seemed a bit smug since she was seemingly winning this fight now.
Nah, she wasn't. She was just making Hera more mad.
In a fit of anger, Hera spat a explosive fireball right at Cerulean's feet. Quickly she jumped and took to the air, avoiding the explosion as the top of the man made structure was demolished into unrecognizable flaming bits. Hera was quick to take chase. Now it was a dog fight. Before Cerulean could find a spot to land or to attack, she found herself being chased like a mouse fleeing for its life, with Hera being the cat. Barrages of fireballs came from behind in two's, three's and then some. This gave Cerulean really any room to do much other then think and think fast before she was shot down.
Showing off some of her own movies, Cerulean flew in and around the jungle of skyscrapers in attempt to shake her pursuer. Yet she must have mistaken how good Hera was in the air. Anything Cerulean did, Hera did it and better. Hera was so specialized for the air that very things matched her. Perhaps too specialized... That was it, Hera was too specialized. If she was knocked out in the air, she was going to to feel the pain. For the first time in this short chase, Cerulean retaliated. She barrel-rolled, turning over on her back and opening her maw wide. A beam of ice fired out, launching at her pursuer.
Hera dodged swiftly and dived down like a meteor. Cerulean tried to roll again to fallow with her attacks, but her own plan to attack may have cost her dearly. Hera rose back up with speed and ferocity of a bullet. She collided with Cerulean with immense force, causing the dragon to lose her balance in the air. Bad timing too. The moment of air time was crucial as she barreled into a skyscraper with little to no time to recover. To make it worse, Hera was right on top of her still. In fact, Hera grasped Cerulean's horn and held her in place to smash the dragon face first into the building.
With an explosive crash, Cerulean plunged head first into the glass and steel, Hera going with her. The collision stopped there flight, making them both start to fall. Cerulean took most of the impact, making her dizzy, while Hera was virtually unscathed since she used Cerulean like a cushion. slowly Cerulean began to fall to the ground below, but Hera wasn't done. She dived after her and again slammed into the true dragon, smashing her head into the building again. As they feel, Hera held her enemies face into the building, dragging it along as gravity did its work.
Finally they hit the ground, Hera still with her claws into the dragon. A long scar went down the building from where Cerulean's face dragged. Picking up her torn up head, Hera sniffed at her. Was she dead? She couldn't tell, but if she was, she wasn't satisfied with just killing her. Flying up and away, Hera flapped away to a safe distance and hovered there. Taking a deep breath, intending on blowing the dragon and the building to hell itself...

Cerulean didn't have time to counter, so she instead blocked, generating another ice shield between her and Hera. The explosive projectile struck the shield, and washe dover to most of the structure behind it, shattering the shield and the building Cerulean was standing on, peppering the water dragon with shards of ice and burning rubble. It hurt, but not enough to stop her.
Hera came charging down from the skies, intent on tearing her rival apart in melee, but Cerulean had other plans. Hera was too bull-headed for her own good as Cerulean launched another ice spear. She had to make it look good, like she really wanted to hit Hera with it, as the fire dragon spiraled away to one side and resumed her advance. But Hera forgot to check behind her, as the spear reversed direction and hit her in the shoulder, driving her toward Cerulean.
But Cerulean wasn't there, as she had already vacated the building, as Hera slammed into the side of it, leaving a dragon shaped impression in the concrete, while a second spear penetrated her other shoulder, pinning her cruciform to the side of the building. Hera struggled as Cerulean took up position behind her opponent, a massive shard of ice engulfing her arm as she slammed it into Hera's back, one, twice, three time, each strike followed by a screech of rage and pain from Hera.
Blood flowed freely from both their wounds as Cerulean stepped back and prepared to freeze Hera to the side of the building her freezer beam...

Not having much choice, Hera roared out as the beam of ice came from behind her and struck her like a blizzard of the most unforgiving winter storm that only existed in fairytale. Soon a sheet of ice covered her and imprisoned the angry serpent in a icy hell.
Now it seemed to be over. The ice was still and quiet and still like a statue in the deep freeze. Cerulean did not relax though, learning from the past that turning his back on this force of nature was not a wise decision. Yet it was quiet. Curiosity came to her, which convinced her to take a closer look. So wary she was that she braced in case it was a trick or the dragon got a spike of anger.
Her hunch was right. The ice jerked and cracked violently and Cerulean backed up as quick as she could. More of the ice cracked and splintered like it would give way. The building rocked and cracked, threatening to fall down with its instability. Then as soon as it began, it stopped. Once more a quiet calm overtook the city. This time around, though, Cerulean did not approach. She only waited for the attack to come.
When it did, it wasn't as expected. Hera suddenly erupted high above the building and baring down from above at the ice dragon! Hera must have bore through the building and up, seeing no where else to go and impossible to push back against the impaled spears of ice. Cerulean did not expect this. She reared up to counter, but Hera brought her power right into the beasts neck and face, thus bringing Cerulean face first into the concrete! The impact dislodged a tooth and chipped along, bringing the coppery taste of blood into her mouth.
She pushed back against the squamata dragon as soon as she recovered herself a split second later, but Hera held against the dragons back with her claws. A pressure built around Cerulean's body. Before she knew it, a tight coil was around her and constricting her like a boa around an unfortunate prey item. Her arms and legs were held tightly against her own body, she was almost helpless. Hera even went through the length of holding Cerulean's jaw shut with her claws. There was a glint of pleasure in the dragons eye as she held the struggling reptile. Now came the easy part: crushing her slowly. The coils began to writhe and tighten, causing the treu dragon to growl growl in pain. Tighter and tighter, Cerulean gasped and wince. A pain came from her center body as her guts were being squished together. Then the claws were off her. She gasped for air.
Mistake of the century.
Hera built up a fireball and fired it right down the beasts throat! Cerulean's eyes bulged as the inside of her mouth, throat and all the way down was suddenly burning! Of course that was the last thing she had to worry about. In her gut, a sudden explosion went off as the fireball went off. Already under pressure, her stomach could not take it. Fire erupted from Cerulean's mouth and nose as fire escaped, burning her sinus's and them some. Blood gushed from her mouth now, as her gut had literally popped and ruptured from the force.
A crooked smile went across the dragons face as she watched the pain unfold. It eased her own pain deep down, making her more happy. Cerulean forced herself to glare back in anger. She was not dead yet... Hera's moment was ruined as a pain came from all around her coins, causing her to shriek and release her prey. Several long icy spines formed around Cerulean and gored the monsters long coiled body. Now she was free and fell to her legs. The pain of her stomach being blown open in the inside made for one hell of a pain.
Hera hissed and braced, ready to spring again on her weakened prey...

Physically, Cerulean was hurting. Hera had really done a number on her with that last attack. However, nothing was wrong with her hydrokinesis, or her resolve to fight. She let Hera collide with her, the squamata's claws digging into her skin. She had a plan to pay Hera back tenfold, as she reached out and dug her own talons into Hera's gut, freezing her lifeblood with but a touch. Hera shrieked in agony as her cells burst and millions, no, billions of tiny, microscopic ice shards floated around inside of her body. Hera fell over, writhing in agony as Cerulean regained her footing, towering over the fallen wyrm.
Then, with a snarl an a powerful mental effort on her part, she ripped every single one of those ice crystals out of Hera's body, from the inside out. Hera was torn to shreds as thousands of cuts appeared all over her body as the ice forced its way out. The ground was soon thick with blood as Hera's struggles ceased for a moment. Perhaps she was simply overcome with pain. Cerulean doubted she was dead. Creatures like Hera rarely sucumbed to something as simple as death.
Sure enough, Hera began to stir, the old rage returning to her eyes. But the first things she saw was not Cerulean, but a massive chunk of ice coated concrete and steel smashing into her head at high speed. Cerulean bellowed a challenge to her adversary as she generated yet another ice spear and mentally hurled it at Hera's gut...

Hera could see it coming obviously. A sudden burst of fire and the the ice shattered before it could reach her, turning into water and steam. She was about to pounce again and tear Cerulean apart in her anger, but something stopped her. Instinct, knowing know the pain of the icy touch that was unbearable. Ice burns were every bit as bad as Fire burns, if not worse. Since most animals fear such power and pain, Hera knew better then to rush into that once more.
Cerulean goaded on, snarling and hissing at her to try and get her typical aggressive response. Tactics was what Cerulean used, and one she was using now was to trick a second hand nature in this angry animal to her advantage.
Hera jerked forward in her need to kill and hurt, but her instinct kept making her stop. So next best thing. Rearing her head back and throwing it forward, a wave of searing flame erupted like a wall of death. Cerulean was covered and baked in the lapping flames. It seemed like a oven, but thankfully her scales resisted any rapid temperature changes. Despite that, she couldn't keep taking this attack head on. Even resisting the flames, the heat and lack of oxygen from the fire would get her eventually.
Slowly the dragon backed away from the flames. The angry squamata dragon stopped her fire then and backed up as well. She was just as hurt and in pain as this other creature, but a bit more able. Suddenly she began to spit fireball after fireball at Cerulean to just try and blow her to kingdom-come! A barrage of explosions erupted around the unfortunate true dragon. Destruction and debris flew everywhere as the area around her was torn and blown from place. A few shots hit her and made her stumble, but she held her ground like a fighter.
But then, she got a somewhat wicked idea of how to stop Hera. Sitting up and limping foward, Cerulean stared at the dragon with intense eyes. The odd tactic made the angry female pause, eyes narrowed and angry. Then it came. When Cerulean jerked her head, Hera jerked too with a surprised grunt. She looked around for whatever hit her, but there was nothing. Another jerk and she feel over. She hissed in frustration. While she couldn't figure it out, Cerulean knew what she was doing. She was using her Hydrokenesis to manipulate Hera from the inside, using her own fluids and blood to somewhat control her.
Hera went flying then into a building like a string yanked her from place. Then she hit the ground, then skidding across the concrete against her will. All the while, Cerulean seemed content and happy. She could end this right now and wanted too. Focusing her power, Hera shrilled out in pain as red crystals exploded from her body. Her own blood, crystallized in some areas and now exploding from her own body. It obviously hurt an awful lot since she stood there, trembling what seemed to be fear.
Perhaps this did it. Cerulean sighed and turned away, absolutely sure that without even having blood flow, that Hera would die of cardiac arrest. Even kaiju were vulnerable to a lack of bodily functions. How wrong she was... Hera flung herself out like an angry cat, charging at Cerulean with intention of ripping her into pieces!
