Personality:
Magmire is normally a very docile and quiet monster. He lives primarily to feed and doesn't understand the ramifications of hsi own immense heat. However, once forced to defend himself, he becomes a blazing inferno, burning everything in the immediate vicinity to ashes and then some.
Attacks:
-Inferno Overload Beam- Magmire can fire a stream fo pure thermal energy from his maw. The weapon takes a few seconds to charge and has a temperature of over 4000o Farenheit. However, it packs no explosive force and deals no damage beyond the heat aspect.
-Geothermal Control- Magmire can control geothermal forces. Not only does this allow him to maintain his physical form and insanely high body temperature, but it also allows him to generate minor eruptions and earthquakes within five miles around himself. Usuaully, he uses this ability to destabilize the battlefield, making it harder for ground based combatants to move around, as well as creating fissures that can trap or otherwise disable enemy monsters.
-Heat Touch/Lava Blood- Magmire constantly exhudes an aura of heat that is equivalent to 2400o Farenheit, but most of his internal structure is composed of molten rock, meaning any physical attack Magmire uses deals added heat damage, and any physical weapon that penetrates his rocky exterior is subjected to more damage from the lava.
-Lava Bombs- Magmire can rapidly fire off explosive globs of rock and lava at his foe. These are comparable to normal missiles when used against other monster, but they also coat the target in burning lava and rock fragments.
-Heat Pulse- Magmire can generate a powerful thermal shockwave by releasing pent up heat and pressure from inside his body. This is a close range attack and is usually used to blast off foes that are engaging him in close quarters.
-Melee Weapons- Magmire's dorsal spines and arm blades are razor sharp, making them particularly deadly in melee combat.
Powers:
-Body Composition- Magmire's body is composed of a combination of molten and solid rock covering a crystalline skeleton and protecting a bacterial core and nervous system. The monster's rocky exterior provides some added defense against attacks, and the crystalline body structure is comparable to diamonds in terms of hardness, but is much sturdier than normal diamonds. The crystals create a framework to support the lava, and it resembles Godzilla's skeleton. The bacterial core is Magmire's central component. It is composed of a colony of bacterial organisms roughly the size of Godzilla's heart, with nerve-like tendrils snaking out to every part of the body, which is how Magmire extends its control.
Magmire body composition grants him the ability to generally ignore damage, as he feels no pain, and mass lost due to an attack can be reabsorbed to repair the damage. However, it is possible to slow Magmire down by shearing off enough mass so that he would need to stop and absorb more before continuing the fight.
-Heat Absorption- Magmire's body is immune to the effects of high heat weaponry, and in fact even draws power from such attacks.
-DNA Absorb and Copy- Magmire has a strange ability to absorb small portions of his foe's DNA and can use them to copy certain aspects of their anatomy. Note that this does not allow magmire to copy special weapons and does not work on monsters without organic components. Magmire can copy things like horns, spikes and extra arms (albeit ones composed of rocks and crystal). These changes disappear after several hours and are random in terms of what exact features Magmire copies. Magmire must maintain a grapple for several seconds in order to allow the bacterial nerves to began to absorb and copy enemy DNA.
-Regeneration (Banned in combat by the UCA)- Magmire can heal any wound to the body in a matter of seconds by simply absorbing the very earth beneath his feet to resupply the lost matter. He can even regenerate damage to the crystal skeleton this way. However, the bacterial core operates under a different regenerative rate (see Weakness below). If Magmire has sutained damage, excess matter will move to fill in the gaps until new material can be absorbed.
-Magmire is immune to the effects of poisons, toxins and diseases, as the high body temperature instantly destroys them before they can do any damage.
-Magmire's unique form of a bacterial colony grants his protection from mental attacks
Weakness:
For all his formidable strengths, Magmire has a number of glaring weaknesses.
First, freezer weapons and any sufficiently cold environment are absoultely lethal to Magmire, as they cause significant damage to the core and harden his body into a solid mass, making it impossible to move.
Second, submersion in water slows down Magmire's regenerative functions and makes it harder for him to move.
Third, any foe with sufficient heat resistance can ignore most, if not all, of Magmire's attacks, rendering him ineffective in combat.
Finally, Magmire's core takes hours to regenerate from damage, and an opponent that can bypass his defenses and damage the core can actually kill Magmire between openings by simply destroying the core. Magmire can regenerate back if the core is not totally destroyed, although this process could take years.
