Golemech, after his recent acquisition by the UCA, found himself sent to do battle in the volcanic regions of the planet. While the machine was immune to toxic gases and his circuitry was protected from lightning strikes, other hazards made this place deadly to do battle, for both himself and his unknown enemy. As he waited for his opponent to appear, Golemech began making notes on which terrain features would be advantageous ot utilize, and which would be best avoided...

In a brilliant flash of light, Hyperdorah was summoned to battle. The great beast looked around the area. His eyes widened when he saw the amount of pollution in this area. He was in Heaven! However, Hyperdorah looked across the horizon to see another monster. At thaat instant, Hyperdorah became violent. This monster came to steal his beloved pollution! If this was the case, then Hyperdorah would deal this creature a swift, yet painful death.

Golemech observed the newcomer. Although it was unlike anything he had ever seen, initial assessment seemed to indicate that the heat had little or no effect on it. The machine took note of it, then attacked without warning. A glowing green leash of gravity waves emanated from Golemech's gripper claws as struck Hyperdorah in the chest. While the leash no damage in and of itself, the effect became quite visible as Hyperdorah began hovering off the ground as Golemech slammed the alien into a nearby rock face. A cascade of rubble and molten rock covered Hyperdorah as Golemech threw the alien into the air. For the brief few seconds that Hyperdorah was airborne, the machien severed the gravity leash and fired an orb of pure force, striking Hyperdorah dead center and throwing the alien back into a nearby lava flow. Smoke rose lava as Hyperdorah struggled to rise.
Golemech reversed his own mass, leaping to cover the distance before landing with a massive thud. Although Hyperdorah seemed unlikely to burn, the alien's "skin" did seem to shrivel, as if drying up. Golemech took note of that and was about to blast Hyperdorah again, when the alien shot an indigo beam of energy from it's eye, striking Golemech in the chest. The resulting explosion sent shards of crystals and rock flying everywhere, as well as momentarily blinding the machine.
When the smoke cleared, Hyperdorah was standing, ready to fight once more, as Golemech activated his Mass Accelerator, scooping up burning rock and crystal fragments, before firing them back at ultra-high speeds. While the rock fragments managed to shred some of Hyperdorah's goopy exterior, the crystal fragments exploded on impact, tearing loose larger sections of the alien, as strange, polluted fluids dribbled fromt he wounds. Golemech activated the Mass Accelerator again, scooping up more fragments before aiming them at Hyperdorah's face...

Hyerdorah looked up just in time to see rock fragments smash directly into his face! They penetrated right into Hyperdorah's "skin". Although these were only flesh wounds, the infuriated the mighty living pollution. Hyperdorah ran up to Golemech and uppercutted him directly in the jaw. After doing this, Hyperdorah became confused. Was this creature immune to pain? No matter, Hyperdorah wouldn't be phased by this. He backed up a little bit, then shot a chunk of his body at Golemech's body! Even though Golemech is mechanical in nature, it understands that the the outermost layer of rock hand been dissolved. Hyperdorah came in for another uppercut to the jaw, but Golemech had scouted it this time. He activated his Mass Accelerator and seized Hyperdorah. Hyperdorah struggled to get free, but to no avail, as Golemech threw him into the side of one of the volcanoes. Somewhat disoriented, Hyperdorah got back to it's feet. Seeing an opportune time, Hyperdorah fired his indigo lasers at Golemech's left shoulder crystal, slightly cracking it. Seeing that Golemech's crystal was breaking, Hyperdorah aimed another laser at the crystal...

Golemech shifted to the side, allowing the eye laser to strike another part of his body, rather than the crystal growth on his shoulder. Rock fragments and crystal shards rained down ont he ground, but Golemech was otherwise unharmed. The machine then swung around, snagging Hyperdorah with a gravity leash before lifting the pollution alien up and slamming him into a rock wall, again and again, leaving a nice Hyperdorah sized indentation in the wall before throwing the monster into the air.
Golemech aimed several gravity blasts at Hyperdorah, driving the airborne alien still skyward. The fall would surely splatter it on impact, when suddenly, Hyperdorah changed, reverting to an almost slug-like form as he remained airborne and began flying around the battlefield. Golemech observed this new turn of events with seeming disinterest, but the machine was already formulating new plans with this new evidence taken into account. But as Golemech was processing, Hyperdorah turned and fired a ball of sludge at the machine, it's acidic properties eating through the rocky exterior of the machine's armor.
Golemech sidestepped to avoid a second sludgy projectile, then fired a beam of raw power from the giant crystal growth on his shoulder, the energy arcing like lightning towards Hyperdorah, tearing away at the alien's exterior and driving it to the ground, where Golemech was waiting with another barrage from the Mass Accelerator...
