A beam of light appeared, lighting up the foliage below. Within this beam appeared the titanic, spiky monster Gadon! Getting beamed up like this was pretty much an habit; his creators, the Gydranics, always did this. His dark green color gave him a nice camouflage with the trees. He crossed his arms and looked around, unsure of where he was. It was quite similar to the forests on Earth... but a tad different. The whole area looked like an arena of sorts. He remembered his barbaric creators often made him and their other monsters fight in an area, and he hated this. What's the point of defeating or killing something that doesn't deserve it, simply to show how powerful we are? Once, he blasted a portion of the arena and left his opponent there, back on his homeplanet.
Still, if it was a "you live or you die" match, he would fight.

Once again, Golemech was sent to do battle, this time in the forested region. The machine made visual contact with his opponent almost imemdiately, and quickly sized it up to be a formidable melee striker. Golemech went through thousands of possible attack scenarios in the span of the few seconds it took for both monster and machine to observe one another. Gadon bellowed and postured, but this had no effect on the machine, as he continued to survey the area, looking for useful tools and makeshift weapons.
With his analysis complete, Golemech turned to face Gadon and assumed a combat-ready stance. This time, there would eb no escape...

Noticing Golemech was ignoring him as it studied the area, Gadon frowned, trying to see what was the machine looking for. Suspicious in nature, he hesitated at first but got closer to the machine that suddenly moved its bigger arm sideways. However, the Swordsman foresaw that move and ducked down as he lashed his tail against the machine's legs which made the machine trip over. It caught itself before hitting the ground using its left arm, then raised its right arm and used its Gravity Cannon to pick up a big rock that it threw to Gadon.
Though his spikes destroyed a good portion of the rock, he was still pushed forward, almost tripping over the machine that got back to its feet. The green alien monster began to bite the machine's circuits on its right arm in an attempt to cut the appendage off, or at least disable it. Using one of his arm blades, Gadon continued to attack it as his back spikes lit up with a misty green light. Maybe one of his toxic flame ball would do the job better. He was trying to hurry up a little, as he felt the machine was about to counterattack.
(Sorry if I fight like a butt, I've never done those before.)

The fireball exploded across Golemech's chest, fragmenting rock and crystal, but doing little to damage the underlying armor plating. Gadon seemed almost confused, as he had been sure that the attack would be much more effective. Golemech took advantage of the momentary reprieve and fired off his Gravity Cannon, a glowing emerald leash forming between the claws on his hand and Gadon's body. The reptilian struggled to escape, but was held fast by the machine as Golemech lifted Gadon overhead and slammed him back down to the ground.
The entire forest shook as 40,000 tons of monster slammed into the ground, toppling trees over for dozens of yards. Golemech lifted the stunned Gadon again and began to swing him around, dragging him through the trees before finally releasing him, sending him hurtling away before finally skidding to a halt after leaving a trail over 100 meters long in his wake.
As Gadon shook his head and tried ot stand, Golemech began to suck up the splintered remains of several trees as he collected them in his Mass Accelerator. The crystals on that arm began to glow as Golemech leveled the weapon at Gadon and fired. Ordinarily, trees were like tookpicks to Gadon. But when they were accelerated to thousands of miles per second, the effect was like a shotgun blast to the chest, as Gadon staggered back from the blow, a series of bloody holes now covering his chest. Although shallow for now, they gave Golemech an opening, as he sucked up more tree fragments and fired again...
(You're doing fine. I can already tell this is going to be an interesting match.)

Gadon growled and used his blades to block the trees. He grabbed those on his chest and retrieved them before hurling them towards Golemech; they planted themselves into the machine's gravity cannon and blocked it. Using the small laps of time in which the machine stared at its cannon reaction-less, he rushed towards it and rammed his side into the machine's back, pinning himself with his spikes into its rocky armor. That would (hopefully) make things a little harder for it.
The Gydranic monster snarled as he placed the tree against the wire-like object near the machine's unique eye-like sensor, so that the foliage would prevent the machine from seeing. Gadon then began attacking the crystals on the machine's shoulder, managing to damage greatly the small cluster on the machine's right shoulder. With his blade, he severed some of the circuits attached to the machine's neck before the machine's claws wrapped themselves around his neck. The reptilian beast ignored it - being as tall as Golemech, it would take a world of hurt in pushing the monster off.

Golemech's vision blurred with static for a moment, but the machien knew exactly where Gadon was, due to other sensory equipment. Even with power fluctuations coming from the damage Gadon was inflicting on the giant crystals, Golemech still had the power necessary to unleash a pulse of gravity waves, which slammed into Gadon and threw alien reptile away in a crumpled heap, battered, but alive. Golemech ignored the damage Gadon's removal had inflicted, as redundant systems came online.
Golemech was still experiencing power fluctuations, even as the crystal growths began to regrow by absorbing material from the atmosphere, but continued to fight on, first by vacuuming up some of the crystal fragments that Gadon had knocked off, then by turning the Mass Accelerator at Gadon and firing. Unlike before, the crystal shards did not just penetrate Gadon's hide, they exploded with a violent burst of emerald light. Gadon shrieked as blood sprayed from his wounded hide.
But the alien was ultimately undeterred as he launched a green fireball at the machine, then sneered at his opponent as it exploded across his chest, ocne again spraying rock fragments and tiny bits of crystal everywhere. But Golemech ignored it once more, as he had finally restored full power. He then responded by firing off the Gravity Cannon once more, catching Gadon with the gravity leash before slamming him around the battlefield, creating several new craters before finally flinging Gadon into the sky and simply letting gravity do all the work for him...

(Goshdarned mechs. So awesome yet so much of a pain in the butt to fight. lol)
Covered in dirt, Gadon, as he was starting to ascend from the throw, turned around with the agility of a cat and retrieved both wrist blades as he fell on Golemech's chest, planting them both into the rocky armor. He growled as he began to again thrash at the crystals and circuitry, damaging them as if they did not regenerate at all. His natural regeneration was already starting to take care of the minor wounds punctuating his body.
His back spikes lit up with a misty green light as they absorbed particles in the air, forming a fog around them. A green ball of power grew into Gadon's mouth before he released it under the form of a powerful toxic beam. He moved his head horizontally, making the beam damage the crystals and the mech's head.

As Gadon sat heavily upon Golemech, poisonous green mist left over from his last attack still leaking from his jaws, the Gydranic beast was suddenly thrown forward, great blooms of fire and smoke erupting from his back. At the same time, a booming voice bellowed out, somehow louder than the explosions.
"WARNING! UNFAIR COMBAT BEHAVIOR DETECTED BY COMBATANT: GADON!"
The swordsman hit the ground hard, blackened bits of his own flesh raining down as he tumbled a good distance away from his robotic foe. At the simple command of the unseen UCA announcer, a kaiju-sized missile box suck back into a dark compartment on the forest floor, a large rock that hid the weapon sliding back into place.
(Golemech should have done some damage to Gadon in that last post. Mistakes happen, but please try not to do it again.)

Golemech observed the arena defenses coming online and blasting Gadon, leaving the reptile stunned long enough for the machine to reorient himself and turn on Gadon. Once more, the Gravity Cannon glowed with emerald light as it powered up. Unlike before, there was no gravity leash forming between the two opponents, rather there was a visible distortion as Golemech fired a blast of concentrated gravitic force. The blast struck Gadon in the chest as Golemech fired again and again, each one driving Gadon back further as the force battered his body, leaving him bruised and short on breath.
Not one to ignore an obvious advantage, Golemech fired the Gravity Cannon again, this time utilizing it to lift Gadon overhead and bring him crashing down, headfirst, at the machine's feet. Gadon moaned weakly as he tried to stand, when he felt a shadow fall over him. He rolled over and shrieked in terror as Golemech appeared to have lapt into the air and was coming down straight for him! Gadon fired off a number of toxic fireballs at the incoming machine,e ahc one striking true and inflicting damage to the machine's armor. But even as fragments of rock and twisted metal rained down upon him, Golemech came down as well, bringing 95,000 tons of machine on top of Gadon.
Gadon's raor turned to one of agony as blood leaked from between the plates in his armor as he felt his skeleton strain against the impact. Golemech stepped back as Gadon rolled over and coughed up blood and other fluids. Although his opponent was weakened, Golemech was not about to relent, as he leveled the Gravity Cannon at Gadon's head and prepared to fire another blast of force at very close range...

Wiping blood off from the border of his mouth with his hand, Gadon groaned and rolled to the side as he sent his tail striking the Gravity Cannon - his bladed tail tip managed to deviate the weapon, making it shoot away. He struggled back to his feet, unsure of what to do next. His regeneration was starting to heal his wounds, although he was still confused.
He shook his head - this fight seemed already lost. He was fighting against a mech that ignored pretty much all the damage the leviathan caused, while the machine already caused a good deal of damage to him. Still, now was not the time to give up.
With a growl, he kicked the machine's legs which sent it to the ground and hopped on it, failing to avoid a strong hit to the jaw from the machine's clawed hand. He staggered a bit but catched himself in time; he pinned the machine's arms to the ground while he used his legs to pin down the machine's own.
His tail twitched and came placing itself to his side - ready to puncture the mech should it try to free itself. Once again, his spines lit up with the same green light, and fog appeared around them before it was absorbed by the spikes and the alien's mouth.
His fiery orange eyes filled themselves with anger as they came down to glare directly into Golemech's sensor. The Gydranic monster prepared to fire...

As a strong reminder, regeneration is banned in matches, kingcaesar. Damage dealt is damage kept.
