Golemech turned to the side as the toxic flames turned rock and armor alike into molten slag along his flank. It seems that Gadon had learned he would need to step up his game in order to damage the machine. But if Gadon was willing to escalate, so could the machine. As Gadon raced to close the gap between them to take advantage of the new gap in the machine's armor, Golemech lashed out with the Gravity Cannon, using the claws this time to grab Gadon and physically throw him, using the reptile's own momentum against him. Gadon crashed to the ground behind Golemech as the machine turned to face his foe.
Suddenly, the insignia on the machine's chest began to pulse with emerald light as Golemech powered up the Mass Inverter. Gadon had no idea what was about to hit him, but he knew it wasn't going to be good, as he tried to close the gap between the two of them before...whatever it was, could go off. But by the time he got to his feet it was too late.
A pulse of null-gravity extended from the machine and struck Gadon, rendering him light as a feather. Golemech leveled the Gravity Cannon at his enemy once more and fired off three rapid shots, each one striking Gadon with amplified force. With practically no weight to slow him down, Gadon was sent hurtling backwards, smashing through trees and rocks alike before all that weight came crashing down on him, literally, as his weight returned, causing him to suddenly grind to a halt, nearly a mile away from where he had started.
Gadon was bruised and battered, but alive. How long he remained that way remained ot eb seen, as Golemech took the air, practically leaping to cover the distance between them. As Gadon tried to stand as Golemech landed nearby, when a bolt of emerald energy fired from the giant crystal on Golemech's shoulder struck him in th echest, searing flesh and muscle alike. Gadon bellowed in pain as the machine prepared to finish things the old fashioned way...by stomping his opponent into the ground...
