Niiro-kisaki locked her gaze onto Lenneth as the mech barreled towards her at blazing speed, looking quite majestic, yet horrifying at the same time. The Lao Shan was undeterred by her opponent's brazen assault, however, and unleashed her black breath onto her opponent, the swirling vortex of blackened energy tearing straight towards her opponent. Like two trucks colliding together, the beam struck Lenneth head on; however, the beam did not slow Lenneth as much as planned, only slightly slowed her down. The valkyrie slammed shoulder first into the massive reptile, taking her along for a dangerous ride before both crash headfirst into an absolutely towering building. Unable to resist to force of the impact, the building groans under the impact's force and collapses on top of both the hapless combatants, burying them alive under millions of tons of rubble.
Lenneth was the first to emerge, using her breaker cannons to tear through the mountain of twisted metal and concrete. One arm emerged first, then the other, still grasping the titanic blade, before the machine pulled herself entirely free. There was no sign of Niiro anywhere.
"Rest in peace, poor creature," Natalie said.
But she spoke prematurely. Almost immediately as the pilot finished her sentence, Niiro's form burst forth from the rubble, shaking off hunks of steel and sending them tumbling back into the mound. The Lao Shan lets out a mighty roar as she rears to her full height, her tonnage sinking into the rubble with each mighty step.Lenneth rushed towards the dragon, prepping her shock chain with a quick lash, but Niiro was prepared. As the chain swung towards her, Niiro stepped back, and in one fluid motion, knocked Lenneth off of her feet using her tail. Niiro Attempts to drop her weight down upon Lenneth, but she is not so easily fooled, particularly by a naive dragon. Lenneth rolled out of the way in the nick of time, dodging the gargantuan's tonnage by mere inches. Lenneth rose to her feet, attempting a kick to Niiro's face (the beast was now on all fours again), but soon found her foot locked in a vice by the dragon's jaws. With a fearsome tug, Lenneth was pulled down off her feet and tossed off the pile, hittign the concrete and asphalt with a violent thud. Niiro soon turned her entire body towards Lenneth, whom was barely rising to her feet, before she charged her opponent from her vantage point, letting out a mighty bellow all the way....

Natalie stopped trying to escape as the mighty tonnage of the Lao Shan barreled right at her, jaws open and ready to crush her machine like toothpicks. Instead, right at Niiro was upon her, Natalie reached out with Lenneth's arms and grabbed the Lao Shan by the throat with both hands while simultaneously planting a foot int he beast's chest. Hydraulic muscles groaned and squealed in protest as Lenneth was pushed back a few meters, but her tactic worked, as Niiro was stopped dead.
But there was no way to hold her there for long, and that familiar black aura was building up in her mouth.
With few options left and time running out, Natalie disengaged the saftey systems on the Zero Cannon and fired, right at Niiro's face. The beam of intense cold wnet ot work almost imediately as ice crystals formed over the face of the Lao Shan. But where the attack would have stopped by now, the beam kep going, building up more and thicker layers of ice which soon encompassed the dragon's head in an icy muzzle. Niiro recoiled from Lenneth, scraping rapidly at the ice coating her face, trying to tear it off before she choked to death.
With this momentary reprieve, Natalie took the opportunity to bring Lenneth to a standing position. She needed to end this quickly, before Niiro regained her composure and tried to do the same to her. With that in mind, Natalie hit the boosters and sent Lenneth rocketing forward, slashing at Niiro's flank with the first pass before reversing direction and hitting her other side and then rocketing upwards before bringing her mech's weight down on Niiro's head. The Lao Shan's head smashed into the crumbled pavement, which promptly shattered the ice muzzle. Unfortunately, Niiro hadn't had enough time to pass out from lack of air, much less suffocate, as she raised her head and fired off another black beam.
Natalie couldn't dodge in time, as the beam struck her machine's head, burning away at the faceplate covering the the, now offline, Zero Cannon, stripping it away and exposing the superstructure beneath.
"Dammit," Natalie shouted as warning klaxons blared in the cockpit. "Just pass out from blood loss already!" But when the Lao Shan just roared and geared up for another charge, she just sighed to herself and hit the cloaking device. When Lenneth pulled her disappearing act, the Lao Shan had learned the the attack would soon follow, as she readied herself to parry a sudden slash from the front or behind. However, she never expected the attack to come from the same place, as Natalie fired the Breaker Cannons without everhaving moved. The twin beams of blinding white energy ripped through the air before they tore into the dragon's armor and flesh. Niiro bellowed in pain but held her ground.
"Let's see if you can handle a few more targets to deal with," Natalie said, as she launched the remaining Orbit Guns before firing a barrage of ice missiles at Niiro...

Niiro was panicking and bleeding profusely from the past few hours of conflict. Thinking as fast as she could, the dragon fired her black breath, sweeping across the sky like a ray of darkness. The beam tore through the ice missiles causing them to prematurely detonate from the beam's power. The orbit guns darted in and fired into Niiro's fresh wounds, angering the dragon more as she sent another beam towards one of them. It and the others, however, withdrew before anymore damage was done, the cannon scorched badly but in one peice. TYhe two combatants stared each other down, locknig gazes.
Neither budged. Lenneth clutched her blade tightly, her body dented and cut, her shield warped from the black energy sphere, and her faceplate mangled beyond recognition. Niiro-kisaki was in a similarly bad shape. Her armor had numerous bloody patches along her body, some of her teeth were missing from her lower jaw, and she felt like one of her ribs had been broken from prepeated kicks and blows to her chest. Suddenly, Lenneth broke the peace. The mech lunged forward, blade lashing out. Niiro used her shoulder's thicker armor to boucne the blow off and slam her tonnage into her opponent, knocking her off her feet and to the floor. The Lao Shan lurched back, appearing to gettign ready to body slam Lenneth. The mech prepared adequately, pointing her blade straight up to impale the dragon. But Niiro saw Lenneth's move, and instead stomped a heavy foot down onto the mech's chest, pinning her down to the ground with a mighty thud. Lenneth attempted to fire her breaker cannons straight at Niiro's heart, ready to finish to aching beast off, but the Lao Shan got the jump on her, blasting the mech in the face with her black breath, dealing damage to the now partially exposed Zero Cannon. More of the black aura surrounded Niiro's mouth, before she fired her beam again, intent on destroying the mech...

"Warning! Zero Cannon has sustained critical damage. Shutting down."
But Natalie ignored the warning, as she had more pressing matters to deal with, like Niiro's breath weapon. She raised her shield arm and activated the Barrier Field, just as the dragon unleashed hell. The black beam struck the shield, and while it was holding for now, it would soon give way, given that Niiro seemed to have no interest in relenting. So, with no alternatives left, she did the only thing she could think of. She brough Niiro closer.
A swift kick to the dragon's knee caused her buckle, before landing right on top of Lenneth's shield blade. The dragon bellowed in rage as she snapped her jaws, trying desperately to tear Lenneth apart. But Natalie had other ideas. She took the opportunity to pummel Niiro with her free hand, smashing in the side of her face until it was a bloody mess, before reaching back and grabbing the Shock Chain.
Niro knew what to expect, but had no means of avoiding it, as Lenneth surged her form with electricity. But, it seemed that Niiro was developing a resistance to the pain, as she slammed one of her hands into Lenneth's chest, momentarily disrupting the machine's power flow as well as leaving a nasty dent in the armor plating. Natalie forced the dragon off of her and took the opportunity to stand while Niiro was still stunned by the electricity.
The dragon was just as bad off, if not worse, than her own mech was. But if she wanted to get out of this, she had to end it now. She prepped a final volley of missiles, ready to end this, one way or another...

Just as Lenneth is about to fire, a voice booms across the city.
"ATTENTION! Cease combat at once! This match has been declared a draw! Congratulations to both fighters! Now report back to your quarters immediately!"
----------
Both fighters inflicted and recieved damage in equal measure. Lenneth's attacks were generally more targeted and technically effective, but Niiro-kisaki's size advantage meant her attacks just generally hit harder. Excellent match.

Niiro groaned with pain and agony. The battle had left her with many wounds.... some of which will probably never heal. The dragon snarled menacingly at the mech. Despite it being a tie, the fact Lenneth had lived was a loss in Niiro's eyes. But, that would be for another time. The dragon roared into the heavens, before a blindign light engulfed her. The dragon soon reappeared in the regeneration tube, her wounds slowly healing. It will be a little bit before she would be ready for combat again.
But the day will come eventually.
OOC: Awesome match, Omegarex! you had me on my toes almost the whole time, since Niiro has trouble countering long ranged attacks. However, Niiro got the better of Lenneth when she'd get in close to attack, so I'd say the results are accurate.

Natalie breathed a sigh of relief as the dragon disappeared in a column of blinding light. Although her machine was badly damaged, she chalked that up to being unfamiliar with the new control scheme of this unit. Still...that dragon packed quite a whollop. If she ever faced her again, Natalie would have to remember to keep her distance.
A second column of light engulfed her machine and she found herself back in the mech hanger. As she disembarked fromt he machine, she could hear applauding from somewhere overhead.
"I'm surprised you did that well, given how little time you had to prep. We'll call you again once Lenneth is repaired. You should go let your boyfriend know...when and if he comes back that is."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
---- ((OOC: Great fight Dan. I'm looking forward to more like this in the future.))
