Name: Andrew "Drew" Ixion Rowan
Height: 5'6"
Mass: 95 lbs
Wingspan: 21'3"
Age: 18
Description:
Even among Pteranoids, a race of demonic creatures with leathery wings, Drew is rather lightweight and thin for his age. His body is rather thin, but still very athletic, and resembles an ordinary teenage human. However, from his shoulders sprout great, clawed wings like those of a pterosaur - black, with brilliant red on the underside of the wing membrane. His clothing is a mix of jet-black and red: midnight-colored hoodie-jacket mix sporting three red markings that resemble claw marks on the chest with a bright red long-sleeved T-shirt beneath, midnight-colored jeans with ragged torn knees and bottoms. He has a studded belt and anklets colored the same red as his wing membrane. His bare feet and hands sport retractable claws, and each of his wrists bears a striking red scar that looks as though he practiced wrist-slitting a while ago. His skin is pale, but a natural pale. His hair is a black rat's nest with red bangs, his teeth are pointed and interlocking, and his eyes have black scleras, brilliant red irises, and Hellish Pupils, with a distinctive slash-scar running down his left.
History:
Despite his dark coloration, Drew was not black to begin with. His first memories as a character were being found by Dr. Christopher Rowan on the doorstep of his home, and took him in as his adopted son. Back then, his hair, clothes, and wings were snow-white, and his eyes were bright gold - he could be mistaken for an angel if it weren't for his featherless wings. Indeed, the elders of his former home city took him to be a talented artist and a good writer. He wanted to join them and their affairs, although his adopted father warned against it. However, all his attempts to fit in and aid these elders only revealed his true colors. Though his demonic nature would have been received as equally as any other person, the success he enjoyed made him arrogant and snooty to everyone else. Eventually, tiring of his ego, they banished him and his colleagues, abandoning him for good.
Drew was devastated. He had never known rejection before. But the elders did not sway in their judgement. It was time for him to move on, and start a new life. As he departed from his old hometown, his hair turned black as midnight, and his eyes and clothes changed from white and gold to black and red. He became far more careful with regards to himself, but the scars of his punishment remained. It was not until he met Castor and Pollux, and told them of his sorry tale, that he would find comfort.
It was then, that he decided his purpose. Drew would become a Kaiju Master, a trainer of giant monsters. Few others held this position, and those who did flocked to the Arena, to test their teams' skills against one another. This is what Drew lived for, the blood and sweat of battle. And so, a new chapter to his history, a new phase of his life, was born...
Personality:
Shattered by rejection, defiled by banishment, Drew is introverted, territorial, and very fierce. He used to believe that he could control all aspects of his life, via persuasion and brute force. However, after his banishment, he came to grips with the fact that there were others much more powerful than he was. However, his brooding exterior hides a unique imagination and a sarcastic wit. If left alone to himself, he is creative, inquisitive, and adventurous. Despite his complicated personality, however, he is well aware of his flaws, and part of his dedication to life is looking into the mistakes he made in the past and thinking of ways to fix them.
