___________________________ Umbrakinesis vs. Hydrokinesis ___________________________ Nosdrah, King of the Shadows vs. Ketos, Demon of the Deep Location: nothing fancy, just a huge island with open sandy space Ref: The Gr8 /\/\M Intro: Nosdrah finally arrives on this planet. He sets down on a large island and creates a dark mist that envelopes the island. He folds his wings over his body to become his cape, and surveys the surrounding area. Back at the hub, the UCA team detect Nosdrah's presence in the Archipelago region. "Sir, what should we do?" The commanding officer responds with, "Hmm... Let's dispatch Ketos to see what's going on. He'll be at home with all that water."

Ketos muttered to himself as he picked at his teeth with a broad sword, its golden, gem-studded hilt grasped delicately between his claws. The sea dragon is sprawled across his horde lazily, bored out of his mind. He hadn't fought a match in ages and he wasn't allowed to roam the Hub for another few days because of a spat he got into that may have caused just a hint of major property damage. The blue beast snorted. Wasn't his fault that other monsters had no respect and needed to be taught some. He was practically doing these dumb humans a favor. Hmph. Grateful lot they are. He dropped the decorative weapon with a hiss as the speaker in the corner of his quarters barks out, causing his talons to slip and stab his gums.
"Ketos! A new monster has arrived in the Archipelago region. We want you out there to..." The voice paused, looking for the right phrase. "Give him the UCA welcome."
Ketos let out another hiss, this one of annoyance. First they unjustly punish him, and now they expect to use him as some common attack dog? Unbelievable! Rolling his thick pink tongue over his bleeding gums, the oceanic monsters slurred between his bared fangs.
"And what makes you think... that I will simply do what you say like... a pathetic little puppy... I am no work hound, you brainless speck... I am Ketos! And I will not be treated like this!"
The UCA announcer repressed a sigh. Instead of hitting a button and blasting the dragon like he would like to, he decided on a more diplomatic approach. For all his stubbornness, Ketos was easy to sway. His arrogance rivaled the oceans he claimed to rule for sheer size.
"Well, if you can't handle it, we can easily get a more competent monster. Maybe Cerulean or Dragus will be-"
"WHAT?" Ketos roared, shaking the air. "You dare to suggest that those two imposters to the mighty dragon race can match me? Can best me?" The Demon of the Deep rose to his feet with another outraged howl. "Take me to this newcomer! Take me to a thousand newcomers! I could bash them all in!"
Flashing an unseen smirk, the UCA announcer gladly complied.
-
In a blinding column of electronic light, Ketos stood on the same tropical isle that Nosdrah landed on. The crimson eyes of the sea tyrant meet those of the vampire lord instantly, as if the two pairs of blood red peepers were drawn to each other. To his supreme irritation, Ketos had to angle his head up slightly to look to the undead titan in the eye. Lips curling, and voice escaping as a breathless huff, the undersea monarch spoke.
"You..." A sapphire talon was held up threateningly, like a brilliant blue blade. "You are mine."

fanks MM, and may your d00kie be blessed with nutritious chunks of corn.
“Now what do we have here…”
The calmness and gentlemanly tone to Nosdrah’s words irritate Ketos.
“The bringer of your demise, that’s what!”
The rage and self-assurance in Ketos’ voice tells the Nosferatu all that he needs to know about the sapphire dragon. “Mmmm…breakfast is more like it!”
A shadowy wisp carves a deep slice in Ketos’ chest, and that is where a thick stream of blood pools out in a messy stream, right into Nosdrah’s opened mouth. He becomes drunk with ecstasy at the taste of his opponent’s life fluid, and his body feels strengthened. Nourished for the time being, Nosdrah calls off the stream and allows the blood to ooze down Ketos’ stomach. Big Blue snarls while holding his chest’s gash, uttering the words, “You’ll pay…”
Ketos forms daggers above the body of water surrounding the island and commands them towards Nosdrah. The Dark Lord folds his wings to form his cape, and they stick into the armor-like material. The dense boxing glove rocketing forwards from behind the King of the Night catches him off guard… He stumbles forward and shakes his head. The water weapon leaves a sore bruise, but handling pain is something Nosdrah has always been able to do, even from severe attacks. "Not so high and mighty, are ya?" But Ketos' words of intimidation do not affect Nosdrah's tranquil mood, one he's always been known to have. What Ketos does not realize is that Nosdrah just walked out the door from his imprisonment, and still has a long ways to go with blood feeding to harness his dark powers at their highest level (or at least, the highest level the UCA's restrictions will allow...) for detection, offense, defense, intimidation, etc.
"Ah! A fellow psychic! Hydrokinesis, eh? Splendid! This fight just became more interesting, hasn't it?" The fact that Nosdrah can be so...calm, peaceful, and sound/seem not threatened, it gets to Ketos, bad; but also that he can be so...gentlemanly after Ketos just talked smack about/to him! Ketos starts charging one of his projectiles in his mouth, but Nosdrah intercepts as he sends his wings forward and impaling their sharp edges along Ketos’ chest [into, not through]. Big Blue (heh, my new nickname for Ketos p:) grunts over the piercing pain that spreads out from each bleeding point of penetration. It takes about five seconds for Nosdrah to relent and retract his wings, but as soon as they do, black chains lash out from the dark haze behind the aquatic dragon. They wrap around Ketos’ throat, jaws, wrists and biceps, and ankles, and waste no time cutting off any slack. Bruises form around the ensnared limbs, and his blood flow is cut off for the moment from the shadow chains’ furious grasp. He can feel them squeezing his very bones! Nosdrah hovers over to the restrained Tyrant of the Seas and lashes out with his flexed, deadly claws in an attempt to carve Ketos like a turkey…

Nosdrah's talons come down like evil blades, but the vampiric lord forgot to restrain all the dangerous parts of Ketos. Whirling around as much as the shadowy chains would allow, the sea dragon swung his tail out, its crescent-shaped fin cutting smoothy through the air. The fin slashed across Nosdrah's midriff as the hefty tail bashed the Lord of the Night, shredding the tough flesh there with its jaggedness and throwing the slender giant back. Stumbling as thick crimson rivers dribbled from his midsection, the grand vampire flared his cape-like wings to stabilize himself. With a flex of his hydrokinesis, Ketos summoned several thin streams of water to spear up and severe the chains holding him in place. Quickly dispersing the shadows with a sweep of his tail, the Demon of the Deep stepped forward with a roar.
"Do you know who I am?" the sea monster demanded, the rumble of his voice making the heaven shiver.
"No," Nosdrah began, straightening himself and holding his head high. The way he acted, the bleeding gash torn across his front didn't even exist. "I don't believe proper introductions were ever traded. Allow me to go first. I am Nosdrah, Lord Nosdrah if you will. I am the first and most powerful vampire to plague the galaxy, King of Shadows, and unquestioned ruler of the night." The monstrous blood-sucker gave a small, quick bow. "And you?"
The deep blue beast was silent for a moment, then spoke in a deep hiss. "You truly know not who I am? I am all... I am above! My body is an armored mountain, my every scale a blade! My fangs are like spears, and my claws like sabers. A swing of my tail conjures a tsunami and a whim of my mind a whirlpool. I am the monarch of the liquid kingdom, the king of the abyss, the boiler of the deep!"
"Lovely titles," drawled Nosdrah, brushing a bit of sand off his wings, the thick membranes draped across his shoulders like a cloak.
"I am the birth of fear and the death of my enemies. I am the slayer of Kharbios and master of all water! I... AM..."
"Talkative?" the vampire lord suggested helpfully.
"KETOS!"
With the deafening roar of his name, the Tyrants of the Seas rushed forward, riding a great surge that rolled forward from the ocean, carving the beach and leveling the landscape. The howling titan rocketed towards Nosdrah, crimson eyes blazing. The slender being simply smile and spread his jagged wings, lifting effortlessly into the sky. Ketos barreled under him, claws grabbing after his tail. Although the master was unable to reach him, his water chased the vampire like loyal hounds. The wave that had carried the dragon now slipped from beneath him and arced into the air, a liquid vortex that waved about like a twister. The rotating tube of water closed in on Nosdrah, but the great vampiric monster destroyed its form with a mutter of "Hellion" and a few fireballs. Still airborne, the King of Shadows looked down at his sapphire foe.
"Ah, Ketos, hm? Shame, my next guess was..."
A black blade flashed and blood sprayed high into the air before slithering easily down Nosdrah's gullet.
"Delicious!"
Clutching his shoulder with a pained bellow, Ketos snarled up at the vampire, and thrust his free hand to the sky. In an instant, the steam that Nosdrah had reduced his wave to was condensed and brought down like a hammer. Nosdrah caught the mighty wall of water full-on with surprised grunt, the crushing weight knocking him from the air. The water- and the vampire- crashed into the ground, churning in a violent frenzy that soon took on a thick crimson hue. Jagged membranes whipped open and parted the swirling mass of foam, liquid, and blood. Rising back into the sky, Nosdrah gasped. Blood slicked the slender being's thin form, red rivers seeping from ragged flesh. The vampire's eyes narrowed and his lips began forming another spell, but a set of hooked talons shot up and grabbed his ankle. With a cackle, Ketos yanked the vampire down. Before the Lord of the Night could cry out or even hit the ground, the dragon's water came down again. Nosdrah was smashed into the sand under a brutal waterfall, a crimson mist spraying from a deep crater in the soft soil of the island.
Laughing loudly, Ketos reared back, bring a clawed foot up. As the water parted and a water-worn Nosdrah was revealed, the Demon of the Deep stomped down...

pffft. & here I was, sure enough to bet that you were gonna counterattack my slash with a hydrokinetic attack! (and since it wasn’t not mentioned, I’m assuming Nosdrah is back-first against the sand?) The Nosferatu manages to intercept his dragon challenger’s foot and hold it in place, despite the capable amount of thrust that had been injected into the attempt to crush the Undead King. Ketos’ lips curl into a smirk while humid puffs of breath abandon his flaring nostrils, and while his tail waves to and fro with fists clenched, ol’ Demon of the Deep says clearly and confidently, “ Jeez, where in the world could YOU be considered some almighty deity? All you are is cheap parlor tricks and biting like a goddamn infant child. I am the embodiment of power, FURY!, and I will gladly put you in your place! And there ain’t gonna be comin’ back from this place, you over-hyped sissy bitch!” Upon hearing that; hearing the dragon’s egotistical persona in his speech…his choice of words and overall insult, and arrogant tone, Nosdrah just…for the first time ever in his life…snaps. The sea dragon manages to get to Nosdrah because he‘s still hungering for blood after just being released from thousands of years imprisonment and hearing such disrespect and arrogant misunderstanding of his dark power. This blowhard DARES question me; insults me? DARES to think he knows me and has seen the extent of my AWESOME potential, when he’s only bared witness to me at a mere portion of my potency? Nosdrah finishes off his thought(s) with the conclusion that, That’s it… I must feast more; I must find and drink enough blood to shed this weak, just-reborn shell and return my abilities to what I am used to. I WILL put this damn arrogant fool in his place and educate him on just who the Hell he‘s been given not only the honor…but PRIVILEGE of fighting… With Ketos’ calf and foot gripped in his hands, Nosdrah pushes out and puts the hydrokinetic dragon in “the hot seat” (as those humans sometimes say; “an expression,” that’s what they call it), which is being against the sand back-first. Nosdrah’s rat(’s)-like tail coils around his oppressor’s to avert retaliation like before, and then the King of Shadows flexes his jaws (makes sure every fang is completely bared/extended from the gums) and sinks them into serrated (like a shark’s skin) flesh covering Ketos’ ankle. A crunch-like noise, like one an apple makes when a big bite is taken out of it, chimes from the limb, and refreshing, invigorating blood starts pouring into Lord Nosdrah’s maw and down his gullet. His lips are soaked by the luscious liquids, and his taste buds are electrified; his own blood mixes with the dragon’s fluids from several small cuts made by the Demon of the Deep’s harmful flesh, and it acts as a seasoning that brings out the flavor in the aqua dragon’s blood. If Nosdrah had pupils, they’d be rolled into the back of his head right away in delight over the overpowering blood lust. He bites deeper, pushing his painful fangs further through flesh, tearing through muscle and raking against Ketos’ very own ankle bone. The dragon hits his fists against the sand as if to tap out, but Nosdrah does not relent; he cannot relent. Nosdrah shakes his head around and sensitizes the meat, like a dog with a chew toy, and twists the ankle in the opposite direction of where he picked to feed so while Ketos is agonized by Nosdrah’s teeth, the attempt to twist and snap his foot/ankle adds more torture to the titan‘s psyche.
Ketos reaches the peak of misery. He cannot shake the Vampire Lord’s endeavor [physically], so he tries something else. A wave of blistering steam engulfs Nosdrah’s chest and stomach, where it immediately goes to work burning his flesh. At first, his mind cannot register the pain, but after several seconds of being burnt, his nerves register the harmful sensations and Nosdrah snaps back into reality. He releases his quarry’s appendage and dashes back with feet above the ground. The Prime Vampire wipes his lips clean of Ketos’ delicious blood, then licks it off his fingers like a savory sauce. “I must thank you, Ketos. You’ve done me a great service. I can feel my powers return to me; oh how I’ve missed them! And this- the excitement of battle, the adrenaline, the atmosphere. Thank you Ketos, thank you ever so much for giving me this chance to fight with you and for your blood donation. Perhaps when this is all over, I can repay you with a spot in my dark army, and with a title suitable of your great stature.“ The Demon of the Deep stands, but falls down onto his right knee. Is it because of the momentary weak state his inflamed ankle has been put in? Is it the dizziness from his excessive blood loss? Perhaps it’s both. “Now, let’s continue our little exhibition match, shall we?” Ketos’ enemy’s manners are really getting on his nerves.
The towering Nosferatu raises his left arm and angles his hand open with the flick of his bony wrist. He begins invocating one of his spells. At first it‘s just gibberish to Ketos, but then he hears, “Dark thunder of the Balmore…” An orb of florescent morbid purple (the size of a baseball if kaiju had baseballs) charges directly near the Vampire Lord’s open palm. “Val Volt!” With a small shockwave of force, the crackling orb propels and slams into Ketos. His body becomes electrified and the blood he has left speeds up to such a pace that it heats up and damages the walls inside his body. Gravity starts to feel heavier, and Ketos fights to keep his body up while at the same time, his insides burn with the feeling of having lava for blood. The spell lasts only a couple of seconds, but long enough to cause great peril to Big Blue. Nosdrah’s dark laughter adds to Ketos’ rage and gives him the motivation to stand on his injured leg and stand battle ready. Nosdrah appreciates his sparring partner’s will. If he could ever settle on it, Ketos would make the perfect addition to the Lord’s group of baddies. He can see a little of his herald in this dragon; Ketos is determined, unrelenting, strong, and proud.
Though the spell has yielded, Nosdrah keeps his arm up and hand open. His claws glow with a murky red aura, and from out of the sand emerges two corpses. They resemble humanoid beings; tattered clothing, rotted flesh and exposed skeletons; one is completely void of skin on its face, but the other maintains a portion (except around its mouth and nose). Nosdrah’s necromantic summons limp to Ketos and grab his arms. One bites his left bicep and the other takes a bite out of his shoulder. Because of the span of a couple centuries worth of decay, their teeth are alive with heavy bacteria. The bacteria is introduced to the open wounds and infects it. Almost immediately, Ketos’ skin and and flesh walls of the wounds start to age and form puss. The painful sensations of the heavy bites are joined by raw, aching soreness; a present from infection. Before they can seriously harm him, Ketos the Mighty topples the bones of his right attacker with a concussive blast of scolding water, and breaks the opposite zombie with a tail whip through the torso. Nosdrah sends a burst of his Assassin Eyes attack towards Ketos’ left shoulder to close his turn…

The evil javelins of crimson energy struck with a spray of gore, the twin blasts boring deep into Ketos's shoulder. The sea monster bellowed in agony, his armor and flesh nothing against the concentrated beams. He was not helpless though, as an attack was already churning in his gullet. From his parted maw came a violent torrent of water, the superheated geyser smashing into Nosdrah's face with enough force to tear flesh and shatter teeth. Empowered by the pain surging through the dragon like electricity, the rush of boiled water may have broken bone if directed at a less sturdy place. Worse yet, the geyser actually forced the blood-sucker's mouth open and rushed down both his throat and windpipe. The vampire's lungs and stomach are filled with the searing hot water. Nosdrah is thrown back by the sheer force of the blast, his Assassin Eyes swinging away from Ketos, but not before slicing his shoulder open. As the dragon howled, the vampire staggered, his bat-like face an angry red, scaled terribly by the boiling assault. A foamy mix of water and blood is vomited from the dark lord's gasping jaws, the red-tinted fluid dotted with ribbons of flesh stripped away from his skull and thoroughly broken teeth. As the King of Shadows continued to heave up a shocking amount of bloody water, a dark shadow fell over him.
A brutal backhand delivered by deep blue talons sent Nosdrah toppling to his knees.
Ketos cackled loudly as he loomed above the fallen vampire. "Bow before a superior creature!"
Nosdrah, despite his level head, hissed in pure fury. The movement of his lips being drawn back over bared fangs increased the flow of blood from his shredded cheek, where Ketos's shark skin tore deep into his flesh.
"Me? Serve under you?" the Demon of the Deep questioned incredulously. "A servant to you? Never. You are mad if you think I would ever do such a thing. I am no servant. I am no weakling! I am Ketos! I have survived eons and I will live eons more yet. My kind was the first of any real power, and I am the mightiest of my kind! I have slayed all manner of beasts, from guardians to demons. Heroes, humans, mutants, and devils, they have all fallen under my power. I have fought my entire life to stay on the top, and I do not intend to stop now!
Nosdrah's eyes narrowed into deadly slits of crimson light. Did this beast's arrogance have no end? The interior of the vampire's mouth was visible through his damaged cheek as Nosdrah opened his fanged jaws to speak.
"Ketos..." The dragon's lips curled at how casually the Lord of the Night used the most glorious name ever uttered. "Look into my eyes."
The Tyrant of the Seas scowled, mouth twisted by confusion as Nosdrah rose to his full height and snapped open his glowing eyes like evil spotlights. After a few seconds of uncertainty, the dragon snorted and stepped forward to match the vampire.
"Gladly."
The two foes thrust their heads forward and stared into each other's hypnotic eyes. In hindsight, this was a poor idea on both ends, as both froze on the spot. Paralyzed by their respective gazes, the dragon and the vampire stood like statures. The wind blew lazily between the frozen monsters, the tress swaying and the waves crashing. A few bold birds even paused to perch on the paralyzed titans, the opportunistic avians picking at their wounds. It would take months for the UCA to finally exterminate all the vampire gulls that originated from the pair of hungry birds that ate off of Nosdrah. The little bastards were greedy and had no quells about taking down and converting their own. It was a wonder that Dracula kept bats as company and not gulls. It took a full ten minutes for the dull standoff to end, the two eventually freeing themselves through separate means. Nosdrah had been liberated with trained discipline, his centuries of slumber teaching him supreme patience, and Ketos with sheer will. His big head could be useful if swung around correctly. Stumbling back with slack jaws, the giants waited as an uncomfortable silence passed between them. In this time, Nosdrah wondered why he suddenly had a two.. wait, another converted, that's three... more minions hovering around this very place. The double hypnotism had created a distinctively awkward atmosphere.
The vampire spoke first. "Let us... not do that again. Ever."
"Agreed," the dragon rumbled. "Now PERISH!"
Ketos lunged forward, one foot swung high into the air, and stomped down with a roar. The sandy ground craters and a shock wave of hydrokinesis shoots down, drawing up water from far bellow. All the moisture in the sand explodes upwards in a rolling wave, the rush of bulging sand and spraying vapor rocketing towards Nosdrah. The building wave erupted once it reached the backpedaling Lord of the Night, dozens of thin geyser bursting from the sand. The vampire hissed as the liquid spears sliced into him, cutting into his chest, arms, legs, and wings. One of the thin streams of razor-edged water ripped open the slender being's cheek to match the other one. Blood spurted from numerous vertical lacerations, staining the wet sand a slick black. Laughter booming like thunder, Ketos lowered his head and charged, solid skull set to ram into Nosdrah's gut...

Nosdrah turns Ketos' attack on his noble self around, into an attack on the dragon. His wings fold into his cape, so when Ketos' head rams full-force into it, Nosdrah does not budge, but Ketos recoils from the strike and lands on his butt against the sand. He holds his throbbing cranium with one clawed hand while shaking it, shaking the dizziness away and cobwebs out. A slice was made in the blue dragon's forehead from the solid impact with the iron-like armor, and his warm blood trickles down in thin streams. The scent of the crimson liquid catches Nosdrah's attention. With hemokinesis, he directs the blood through the air and into his maw. The exquisite taste refreshes the Prime Nosferatu and strengthens his energy reserves. Thanks to his discipline from over the many years (especially the ones of imprisonment), he takes not so much a “little amount”, but not too much either. Nosdrah's ensuing act surprises The Tyrant of the Seas a heck of a lot. He says calmly and loudly for his sparring partner to hear, “ Very well, Ketos!” Then, Lord Nosdrah… bows…!! “ You are very powerful, indeed! In all my years, through all my experiences, I know power when I see it. I’m trained to recognize it. You, my friend, are a strong one. Friend?… the dragon thinks to himself. But he was in awe that Nosdrah actually bowed to him. “ Servant? Weakling? I’d never think of making the mistake of making you, let alone calling you, either of those lesser titles. I offer you a position as my equal, should you accept. Gold, diamonds, treasure; those are what you like, right? It would be my honor to provide you with beyond you could ever need or find on this planet. I offer merely fairness, Ketos.” Nosdrah proves his reputation as a gentleman true. But in Ketos’ natural rage, he upholds suspicion and labels Nosdrah’s words as just a trick; just trying to appeal to him, maybe to gain the upper hand, maybe to catch him off guard and snatch victory from under his scaly nose. Still…he cannot dismiss the fact that Nosdrah actually bowed to him… Ketos will be contemplating all this for the remainder of the match, that was certain. “ Now we have a battle to fight. Let’s put on a grand show for our spectators back in their headquarters, shall we Ketos?” A large droplet of blood inflates out of his chest laceration and sculpts into a giant wolf head (about 40-45 meters big) with as many crowded fangs lining its jaws as Nosdrah’s own (they‘re serrated, too), and intimidating eyes opened and staring blankly around throughout the lupin familiar’s face and neck. After releasing an eerie demonic bark, the blood-made creature extends out of Nosdrah’s form by a growing horizontal neck and shuts its jaws around The Demon of the Deep’s stomach. The familiar brings Ketos the Dragon in the air and slams him down against the sand; once…twice…three times?…four times! Four total slams to deal crash-based damage along with the tears around the stomach. Nosdrah revels in his opponent’s blood, tasting it with his body’s extension. To make matters worse, The King of the Shadows has been introducing his blood with Ketos’; Ketos’ body. His vampiric life fluid corrupts Ketos and taints his own blood, introducing random fits of weakness, cramps in his stomach, and foggy thoughtlessness periodically. Nosdrah calls off his attack dog and recalls it back into his form. Ketos is sporting bruising and blood spills. Ketos responds by sending moist weaponry at the Nosferatu, but ultimately in vein because the bloodsucker breaks the water weapons with claw swipes and tail whips. A solid stream of water ejects out of the surrounding liquid body and almost hits Nosdrah, if only he had not crossed his arms to block the attack, but it was a diversion! Ketos tramples forward and jumps off the ground and rears back. CRACK!Ketos delivers a Kangaroo Kick to Nosdrah’s injured chest, drawing fresh blood and boosting the pain and damage to the body region. Nosdrah smirks while he stands holding his chest after stumbling back a trio of steps. He appreciates Ketos’ ingenuity but if this was a match of life and death…more than just an exhibition match to the Shadow King…Ketos never would have been given the chance to catch Vampire King Nosdrah off guard. The corruption pumping through his veins induces another fit of confusion and stomach cramps, doubling the dragon over with disorientation. Nosdrah takes this opportunity to turn his body and crash his rat’s-like tail against the warrior dragon. Ketos holds his right arm’s midpoint (elbow) for a moment until the sudden and strong painful response in the limb subsides to manageable status. Nosdrah returns to standing with his gaze locked on the blue scaly monster, and his tail flails with action behind him, cracking the sand like a whip. Ketos manages his pain to the point where he stands and stares back, but both kaiju make a point not to lock each other into a hypnotic state again. Lord Nosdrah takes to the air and circles overhead like a vulture a couple of rotations (to build up speed and momentum) but quickly breaks his pattern and does a fly-by over Ketos. Big Blue turns his body and keeps his eyes on Nosdrah, expecting the devious Master of the Dead to extend his body or a piece of shadows to attack, because just flying by harmlessly does not seem like something the vampire will waste his time doing. In all his suspicion, Ketos forgets about how flying above Mach 1/1.5 creates a sonic boom, and that is exactly what trails behind Nosdrah and is about to knock Big Blue off his feet and to the ground with forceful fury…

The air erupted and a sonic boom slammed into Ketos like a wall of pure force. The dragon's frame was rocked, as if by a solid blow. With a surprised cry, the Tyrant of the Seas was lifted up and off his feet, hurled back like a weightless rag doll. But he did not hit the ground. Before the deep blue beast could come crashing back down, a great geyser exploded from the sand and engulfed him, wrapping around his form and launching him upwards like a rocket. Controlled by Ketos's mind, the towering spray of water arcs down sharply, aiming its rapid flow at the still airborne King of the Night.
Laughing boisterously and swinging both feet forward, Ketos slammed into the vampire's back like a kaiju-sized wrecking ball!
Nosdrah's spine snapped up, nearly making a 'D', as the Lord of Evil was hammered into the ground, crushed under both gravity and the cackling Ketos. The moist sand gave way easily and a deep crater was punched into the island landscape, sand and water rising up in a shock wave nearly three hundred meters tall. Nosdrah groaned, sprawled across the bottom of the great pit with as little dignity as he had ever seen, sand shoved into raw wounds, limbs bent at unnatural angles. Water from the sea trickled into the pit, stinging the slender being's open injures and quickly taking on a deep crimson color. Standing triumphantly atop the miserable vampire, Ketos chuckled darkly. Lips curling into a half-sneer, half-smile, the Demon of the Deep reached down and grasped his foe's jaws in curved talons. Wrenching Nosdrah's head nearly all the way around, closing in on a hundred-and-eighty degrees in rotation, the dragon pressed his forearm into the brow of the Master of the Dead. As his lips curled into a vicious grin, the sea monster ripped his bladed flesh across Nosdrah's face! The undead noble's jaws clamped shut, refusing to utter a single whimper or breath of pain. A broad stripe of gore had been carved across the vampire's mug, his brow and much of his snout naked and bleeding. It was a sight that brought butterflies to Ketos's stomach, the sight of a foe in pain. The dragon reared to his full height, and Nosdrah expected him to strike again. Instead, the oceanic titan simply narrowed his eyes and began ascending from the crater, water gathering beneath his feet in a liquid cradle to taxi him into the air. Mouth scrunching into an agonized grimace now that his foe was no longer watching, Nosdrah spread his cloak-like wings and followed.
As the vampire set down on the opposite end of the crater as the dragon, Ketos spoke, his voice slow and thoughtful. "Ketos has no master, nor do I have friends. But... I have had allies in the past... partners even." The sea beast grinned, eyes flashing with arrogance. "I must commend you. Seeing the strength in Ketos does not require genius, but many lack the sense. And you are wise to offer reward. Ketos sells his power, not lends it. I do not share. Not without a price. Jewels will be required, many of them. I will... consider your offer."
Nosdrah opened his mouth to say something, but he was cut off.
"There is... one small problem though. You have struck me. Insulted me! You need to fed on blood, yes? Well..." A dangerous gleam entered glowing crimson slits. "I want blood as well. Your blood."
The Lord of Shadows gave a pleasant smile. "I'm glad that we are- in a completely nonliteral sense, mind you- seeing eye to eye." Without loosing his smile, Nosdrah raised an open palm, thrust it forward, and cried, "Val Volt!"
As the dark surge of lightning burned a path towards him, Ketos smirked, the lopsided grin squeezing one eye into a blazing slit. The sea behind the dragon burst, a large stream of it coiling and twisting through the sky. Intercepting the transdimensional thunder, the water- now crackling with evil electricity- form a rounded missile and smashed into Nosdrah like a punch of divine power. The vampire's flesh was split open like paper and the King of the Undead crumpled without a sound. Falling under the effects of his own attack, Nosdrah struggled to stand, head swimming, blood flowing from his bare face at an increased rate, and a fire growing from within.
"You thunder-throwers never learn, do you!"
Using his mind to scoop up the water wetting the sand around the gurgling Nosdrah, Ketos squeezed it into a flat plain and brought it down hard, a solid wall of water that aimed to crush the vampire into the ground like a bug under glass...

Nosdrah's wings fold into his cape to protect his front from the physical effects of the monstrous tidal wave. The water does press Nosdrah into the sand, transformed into mud from blending with the H20. With a flick of his [index] finger, Ketos transforms the water into a body of sharp edges, so as the water retracts back into the sea, the edges cut the Undead Nobleman’s body as it floes over and away from Nosdrah (the water that seeped through/under the cape). Nosdrah bursts from the muddy pit in a fit of dark glory; he unfolds his wings to sustain flight after the jump, and his body glows with an eerie dark red outline. His wings grow to larger proportion- larger than the body of their owner. Using his hemokinesis ability, Nosdrah draws in the invisible blood that has soaked these sands from each battle; it’s invisible against the sand, but as it is summoned, it all rises in a mist-like format, entering the Nosferatu through his mouth, nostrils, and open lacerations. The blood is fuel for the Lord’s unholy power, and as the sustenance feeds him, Nosdrah creates a mass of surrounding black clouds and fog. Eyes of various sizes open wide and stare at Ketos, who rapidly turns to notice everything going on around him so to not be caught off guard. Twisted fang-laced grins unveil themselves among the eyes in the darkness, some with long pointed tongues hanging out or licking every tooth. As some mouths open, they reveal single eyeballs inside them! “ Hah! Neat parlor trick!” shouts the full of himself dragon, but Nosdrah can sense the doubt starting to stew in his mind; the confusion, and the miniscule amounts of uneasiness. Big Blue assumes his feelings are brought on by hypnosis, but the truth of the situation is that the nightmarish unveiling is designed to do exactly what it’s doing to Nosdrah’s sparring partner’s mind. “ What was that you called me, Ketos? A “thunder thrower”?” (in the back of his mind, he thinks, Hm, I like that name.) A bolt of lightning crashes against a small island off in the distance; it erupted from a dark cloud as black as the Shadow Wielder’s heart. “ Ahahahaha… Oh, you have no idea…” Nosdrah’s nightmarish form raises its arms towards the sky as the hands glow with a morbid purple essence. A large boom of thunder sounds nearby as lightning strikes the island hosting the two creatures’ skirmish, but instead of a bolt, a thick column rains down and easily engulfs Ketos. Ketos cannot stop from screaming as his damp skin (from using water to let himself down after being thrown by the Sonic Boom) surges with electricity. Ketos is cooked alive; his insides burn with hot-as-lava intensity, and his body wastes no time in drying up and bellowing steam. After a few seconds, Nosdrah calls off his extreme spell; Tesla, that was its name. Ketos falls to his stomach for the next couple of seconds. Much of his body has been stained with blackened flesh, crusty dry blood, and puss from the attack’s intensity. Inside his body…his stomach, his chest, etc…he feels like it’s on fire! Nosdrah lowers himself to enter a stance against the muddy land. His wings flow with the wind to his left side, appearing like cloth. The right side of his face is blackened, saturated by a shadow, while his right eye glows with a dark red intensity. Raising his right hand, Nosdrah summons an orb of energy; Val Volt again, perhaps? No, this orb is pale white. The orb is a collection of dead spirits; it is Nosdrah’s necromancy at work. He commands the orb to propel forward where it collides with Ketos. The aquatic dragon of the deep’s body tremors at first, but remains still after just a few seconds. The sorrow and morbidity of the spirit orb sends ice cold shivers down the Demon of the Deep’s spine, and feels Ketos’ mind and fighting spirit with doubt. He feels like a collection of unseen spirits are punching him stiffly. The Spectral Nobleman’s left arm and portion of his left chest bursts into a group of bats, and they swarm around Ketos, who is forcing himself to get up not because the pain has subsided- oh no, the pain is still very much ablaze. He gets up because if he doesn’t, he’s easy pickings for his opponent, and in addition, Ketos refuses to let Nosdrah recognize how much his ultimate lightning spell affected him. Ketos rises up only to be swarmed by the projection of the portion of his body. They bite Ketos and drain his blood, but with all the superior pain he’s feeling, the bites don’t even get recognized by his nerves (so no damage). They levitate themselves and Ketos about 700 meters above ground (the equivalent of 5 Nosdrah’s set one on top of the other) and drop him. Below, the shadows shape the patch of dry sand into spikes, so Ketos comes crashing down full-force and the spikes press through his shark’s-like skin with a wet “crunch”. The sand immediately loses its solid shape. The sand inside the puncture points induces a stinging pain added to the overall torment. Also, littered with dirt and just…not being sanitary, the sand introduces infection to the inside of the dragon. Nosdrah growls as the bats reform into his selected body parts and he feels the rush of fresh blood entering his bloodstream (thanks to the bats). Ketos seems too stunned and overwhelmed to manage the level of concentration to sustain a hydrokinetic retaliation, and too sore to muster a quick tail whip, so as the Vampiric Lord stands hovering over Ketos’ inflamed body, Lord Nosdrah, King of the Undead sends his foot slamming down in a bid to crash it into the blue dragon’s cranium…

As Nosdrah's foot came down, Ketos's arm went up. The clawed foot was caught by a beefy forearm, the dragon fighting with all his strength to hold the stomp at bay. As the two matched muscle, both limbs trembling with effort, blood curled from Nosdrah's chest, where Ketos's tail had stripped away skin and flesh, like crimson serpents. Cracking the air like bullwhips, the red lashes came down upon the sea monster, their razor edges cutting into his snout and brow. Ketos hissed as his bladed hide was split and his blood spilled. The crimson running down his face was turned against him, Nosdrah compressing and sharpening the hot essence with his dark mind and driving it back into Ketos's body. As the umbrakinetic assault continued, Ketos narrowed his furious eyes, their supernatural glow increasing into a torch-like blaze. Suddenly pressing the vampiric back with renewed vigor, the Demon of the Deep hissed darkly through bared teeth.
"You... should not... have done that."
The ocean around the island began to stir, the clear waters obeying their new master as he stretched out his hydrokinesis to engulf an enormous area. Curling waves whipped around the bare island, circling like sharks. Water drew back across the beach as the waves grew, soon rising above the island like liquid mountain peaks. As the waves strengthened, so did their king. Body fueled by pure rage, Ketos slowly rose to his feet, finally shoving away Nosdrah with a thrust of his arm. Claws whipped wide open, the oceanic ruler threw back his head and roared to the heavens, voice a demonic thundercrack that shook the sky.
"PERISH!"
The ocean erupted.
Great arcs of water launched from all around the island, the tremendous liquid pillars swirling in on the sandy speck. Coming down in a vortex of churning seawater over four hundred meters wide, the sea leveled the island, tearing its soft sand defenses apart like wet paper. White foam exploded high into the air, and a dark shape was flung from the boiling ocean. Spitting up bitter saltwater with a gasp, Nosdrah heaved, his narrow chest- and practically everywhere else- pouring down blood like rain, the wound there severely aggravated. Even the ancient's cape-like wings, although hard as steel and as durable to boot, were ragged and shredded, slicked with water, blood, and sand. The island was gone, and the Lord of the Nigh had nearly been lost with it. But the ocean's fury had yet to be diminished. From below the limping flier burst three great geysers of water and foam. Lips curling, Nosdrah made to avoid these massive torrents. The first one was easily twisted around, the second avoided with little difficulty, and the third-
A deep blue set of talons tore from the third spout of water and skewered Nosdrah.
The King of the Undead doubled over across hooked claws as a familiar head thrust itself from the foamy water. Ketos had been inside the geyser! His hand buried wrist deep into the vampire- it was a wonder that the slender being simply didn't snap in half from the sheer force- the Tyrant of the Seas twirled his claws, the sapphire blades slicing and shredding vulnerable innards. For the first time in the battle, Nosdrah reared up and cried out, only a small grunt that seemed more suited for annoyance, but it gave Ketos SO much delicious satisfaction. With a swung of his tail, the dragon dislodged his talons, long ribbons of tissue flowing from them, and rolled atop Nosdrah in midair. Foot placed on the vampire's spine and hand holding his head firmly down, the dragon allowed himself to plunge with the noble undead. Eating up altitude in a matter of mere seconds, Nosdrah's face was slammed into the water like it was a solid object, gravity, his own weight, and Ketos's girth all coming down on it. Just audible over the splash was a wet crunching sound.
Sinking into the sea, Ketos kicked off of Nosdrah. The vampire was stunned, the bat-like flare of his nose completely torn away and his boxy snout actually seeming to be shorter, more compressed. Blood flooded from the evil being's nose and lack jaws like a crimson current. Spear-like fangs flashing in a grin, Ketos chuckled darkly, bubles rising from his jaws. This was his domain, his home field. And he didn't plan on loosing here. With a flick of his shark-like tail paddle, the sea monster sped forward and slashed as the motionless Nosdrah with organic sabers...

The sabers slash through the flesh of the undead’s thighs, eliciting another growl-like moan from Lord Nosdrah and freeing blood. Right now, blood flows out from the deep lacerations in the vampire’s body and pools to form a tornado of furious violence. The blood long since soaked into the deep depth of the ocean floor forms a second twister, as violently active as the other one. Despite them being underwater, the hemokinetic tornados travel forwards- one towards Ketos’ backside, and one towards his front. Ketos erects watery walls to halt the tornados, both throwing crescent blades from their bodies, but with some dark hypnosis, Nosdrah breaks Big Blue’s concentration to use his water manipulative aptitude; the double “Dee’n Tear” attacks continuing their trek forward. As they near, they throw force-backed sharp arches at Ketos’ body, ripping open the dragon’s serrated blue flesh to let blood flow out lazily and mix with the water. The pair of deadly twisters merge into one that ensnares The Demon of the Deep inside of it. From within, the Dee’n Tear attack throws blades from within to keep cracking open the dragon’s body and riddle it with as many deep slices as he had inflicted on Nosdrah. As each section of flesh splits open-along the chest and belly, back, thighs, shoulders, neck-Ketos experiences sharp sensations of pain.
The Monarch to the Dead calls off the attack once the surrounding water to the both takes on a crimson, foggy tint. Nosdrah recalls his blood, the blood from countless battles, and Ketos’ newly spilled liquids back into his body. Next, a giant gemstone materializes out of nothing but shadows takes point above the battling titans. First, Nosdrah commands his wings to slither around his arms and hands to form a pair of giant long arms and massive new hands. With his fists clenched, Nosdrah lashes out to deliver a deadly hook to the right side of Ketos; a kidney punch. The ever-so-solid blow to such a sensitive spot for any being’s anatomy causes the area to immediately swell, but the serrated skin creates some scrapes in the knuckles of that caped arm extension; minor damage. As Ketos slowly drifts to the side underneath the body of water of the once-standing island, he holds his side in anguish. The fact that something as simple as a punch is causing so much soreness further aggravates the naturally-raged Demon of the Deep Blue Sea. Now, the crystal stationed above the two kaiju breaks apart and sends countless sharp (and as piercing as diamonds) fragments raining unto Ketos’ shoulders and back. The portions of his body become completely filled with shadowy fragmentations, and the dragon’s blood is taken out by the masses. The fragments have traveled deep through the sleek flesh of the dragon and become lodged deep inside. Basically his entire back’s flesh has been torn asunder by the mass amounts of dark crystals.
Nosdrah keeps the arm extensions, and the giant crystal continues to loom over the two titans (albeit with chunks missing from where the crystal fragments were once solid and apart of the giant gemstone). To close off his turn, the badly wounded Nosdrah sends a twin burst of Assassin Eyes towards Ketos’ left shoulder in a bid to ignite the shadowy crystals embedded in it for a dark explosion that will surely open the limb up wide in a gory reaction…
The giant crystal will remain overhead for {2} more uses, whether they be used during Ketos' turn or Nosdrah's. The third use of the crystal will take the last of its body to use.

With a sneer, Ketos 'side stepped' the crimson blasts with a flick of his tail, the crescent-shaped paddle propelling him out of harm's way. This was the ocean. He had agility on his side here, far faster in water than he could ever be on dry land. But Nosdrah had backup. The great crystal above began spitting jagged shards of itself down, the dragon's crimson eyes quickly flickering up. Smirking, Ketos lunged forward. His muscular tail churned the water with a great swing, the heafty appendage hooking around Nosdrah with a harsh slap that shredded skin and hurled him away, the motion also pushing the sea monster further away from the crystalline rain of blades. In essence, the two monsters had switched places. Now it was Nosdrah who was speared by countless crystal shards, his slender body writhing in pain as a weapon of his own creation tore into him. A thick stream of bubbles left the fanged maw of the vampiric lord as he was skewered on all sides, the crystal fragments plunging deep into his dense flesh and punching straight through his tough wings. Blood billowed up, a crimson flower blooming in the dark water, but it was soon reabsorbed by Nosdrah. As the bloom of gore flowed back down the vampire's gullet, the King of the Night decided he needed more.
And he would take it from Ketos.
With a simple flex of a long, taloned finger, the dragon's left breast burst open, the sturdy muscle and bladed hide sliced easily from within. The oceanic king reared back with a muted roar, foam erupting from his jaws. A razor-edged flow of blood gushed from his chest, the weaponized life essence cutting into already damaged meat, traversing a short stretch of sea, and then sliding easily down Nosdrah's throat. Once he thought he had enough for a decent snack, the undead lord balled up the remaining blood and hurled it back at Ketos. The orbs of life fluid 'detonated' against the dragon, throwing him back with a pulse of umbrakinetic might. Snarling, Ketos was slammed into the seabed, the muddy ocean floor bursting under his girth. Claws flexing and lips working, Nosdrah was already conjuring another spell.
Crimson torches cut through the billowing sediment.
A strange pulse rang through the sea, a low, rumbling groan that surged through the water with noticeable force. Nosdrah paused as the surge of sound and force washed over him, pushing the slender being back some. The groan grew, and so did the water's agitation. Ketos kicked off the seafloor, mouth open and eyes blazing. The cry rolling through the sea was now a roar, and the water churning and boiled furiously. The king of the sea was angry, and so was his kingdom! Ketos had enough. He refused to loose. He refused to go down. He was the superior creature, not this blood-sucking fool! This scum claimed to be a king. HE WAS A GOD!
A pulse tore out from Ketos, a bulge in the entire ocean, and Nosdrah was hammered with the full fury of the sea.
The Lord of Shadows was smashed back, incredible power pouring over every inch of him. Teeth were ripped from his jaws, the fur that spiked from his skull was thinned into a few stubborn strains, small cuts were ripped into gaping holes, and- worse of all- the crystal shards littering the vampire's flesh were punched even deeper, most disappearing far into his flesh. The undead noble stretched open his maw to scream, but any sound was scattered by the wall of water that pushed him back without resistance. Blood trailed from the crushed vampire in thick, dark clouds, a horde of red pillars that polluted the sea. Ketos's already spectral eyes shone even brighter, and a second surge of water formed behind Nosdrah, rushing in with just as much power as the first. Nosdrah, unaware of the second wall, could only struggle helplessly against the first.
Then the two surged of water, two forces with the power of an angry sea god behind each, met.
On the surface, the entire sea exploded. White foam launched a thousand meters in the air, the towering geyser of water blocking out the sun. Beneath the waves, it looked like a huge bomb had gone off. The once clear water was dirty and murky, filled with sand and mud. Any kind of structure that existed on the seabed was gone now, wiped away and replaced with a crater that stretched for hundreds of meters. In the midst of this destruction, Nosdrah floated limply, unmoving and filling the water with the red of his devastation. His cape-like wings were shredded, waving about in ragged flaps and strips. Much of the skin was peeled from his body, revealing the bare flesh or even muscle beneath. On the vampire's thin arms and legs, bit of bone even peaked out. Crystal fragments floated around the still vampire, either torn from him or punched straight through him. Almost 1,500 meters away, Ketos slowly sunk to the ocean floor. He was exhausted, too weary to even smirk or laugh in triumph. For now, he would sacrifice taking advantage of his foe's vulnerability and attacking again in favor of resting and regaining a bit of strength. Closing his demon eyes, Ketos let the coolness of the sea wash over and strengthen him...

Nosdrah regains his senses and starts budging. Right now he needs some assistance to take the focus off of himself while he regains composure, so he recruits some from the realm of the undead. His hand launches a bright orb of sea green and neon green energy that disappears into the darkness of the ocean's depths. About four seconds after its disappearance, the dragon and the vampire notice a bright explosion of the green light- the energy beckoning an old entity-something long dead-to re-emerge and serve its Master (over the undead).
The pulsing light acts as a beacon to guide the zombified creature out of the world of the dead and back into the world of the living (but only for a brief period). Ketos has since re-energized himself and is now snickering while pointing at his enemy, who's not so well off currently. The tide (no pun intended) changes now that from out of the darkness of the ocean depth, a series of long, humongous tentacles reach out and wrap around Ketos' body at selected points. The skin of the tentacles is rotted, with a lot of its innerds revealed (dark vapor bellowing from the open sections of flesh). One working eye paired with just a small red dot in the eye socket of the missing eye peer through the darkness at Ketos, Demon of the Deep and Master of the Torrent. A rather loud and high-pitched screech breaks the silence of the seas, and a beak pokes out of the darkness. Ketos knows the difference between a shadow creature and something else, and this was no shadow entity. Suddenly, it hits him. This was...a kraken! One of the original krakens to the world, long since dead, reanimated to serve its now-Master.
The undead Kraken's dead body conflicts with Ketos' living form. The rotted flesh provokes a corrosive effect and burns imprints of its lengthy restraints into Ketos' serrated skin. Yes his serrated shark's-like skin cuts into the tentacles, but the Kraken has not had a need to worry about pain or damage for quite a long time. His grip only tightens, squeezing the air out of Ketos and delivering amplified burning sensations. The burns to his skin become a darker hue. The undead layer to the famous sea creature's body is conflicting with the skin of the opposite nature, sort of like an allergic reaction (the reaction being the nutrients and minerals to the skin being cancelled out and the flesh burning, drying). It infects Ketos with death. Ketos growls with the utmost fury at his ensnarement, at his overall predicament. The crush being inflicted against open wounds cracks the flesh open further (and de-purifies the exposed meat and innards of the bodily sections) and lets blood flow out- blood that Nosdrah happily assimilates to rejuvenate his strength and power(s).
While the undead sea titan has Ketos, the Darkened Gentleman snaps his talons to command what's left of the hovering crystal. The rest of the jewel's body breaks apart and showers Ketos' body, tearing through the Kraken's tentacles first to get at him. The kraken does not feel the pain, for his nerves have not worked/been alive for some time. Ketos shuts his eyes and snarls as the fragments coat his front, embedding deep inside his body through gaping wounds, and creating an outer decorative coating against intact flesh (though there's not a lot of it on Ketos' torso's front side). Torrents of blood flow out lazily, then travels into undistinctive animal heads formed by Nosdrah's own blood from out of gaping points. Once the last of the shadow gems pressure through Ketos, the Kraken relents to slowly drift back into the darkness, back into the world of the dead.
Ketos sends a solidified piece of water to punc Nosdrah square in his damaged nose. His eyes shut reflexively, and he holds his bleeding nose. When he opens up his eyes, the Lord's spectral eyes flash even brighter for the next few moments, and they even illuminate the small area around the organs. Ketos accidentally looks into them, and now his eyes feel weighed down by hundreds of tons per visual organ. His eyes become bloodshot. "That was interesting of you to use my own shadows against me, the material I oversee. If it's okay with you, I'd like to return the action." It isn't alright with Ketos, but that was never going to stop the specter's upcoming action(s). Ketos is forced to [unpleasantly] watch as he orders his element to flood through his left shoulder (the one opened up by a twin burst of Assassin Eyes). The liquid fills the left arm and shoulder just above "the brim" (as the human phrase goes). Ketos uncomfortably feels his limb swollen with water. Uncomfortable, but not painful. But speaking of pain, it comes without another second's hesitation from the water inside his body being strong-armed into heating up to boiling temperatures. The Tyrant of the Sees roars in terrible pain as his limb is internally damaged from scolding hot water. Ketos is influenced to shape the water into sharp spikes that rocket through his arm's skin. Visibility around the limb is hindered from the incredibly heated temperature.
Nosdrah blinks his eyes back to normal gloss, returning Big Blue's will to him. As soon as he can, he disperses the water out of his arm and shoulder. The limb has fallen limp to his side, and continues to harness unbelievable pain from being internally cooked. His muscles have been worked over somethin' fierce, by the heated temperature and the solid water spikes that tore through them. Nosdrah finally feels satisfaction over paying back Big Blue for his insolence. He even used Big Blue's attack against him, which Ketos had no problem doing with Lord of the Undead and his shadow-gem. Now, thick wisps of black emerge from the dark depths and pull Ketos into the large body of shadows. He disappears from sight, his image overwhelmed by the saturation of the ocean's depth. All the shadows surrounding the aqua dragon start compressing from every direction. Ketos struggles to resist the shadows as they are wall-like (solid) and squeeze his body further. Nosdrah disregards Ketos' well-being as he tries to crush his very existance...
The crystal has been used thrice, so it's all gone now.

As the solid walls of the black mass crush inwards, Nosdrah decided to... up the ante a bit. With a simple utterance of "Sodom" under his breath, the vampire noble compressed the water around the writhing tomb of shadows into fours blades, one of each side. The blades held firmly in his mind's grasp, the Lord of the Dead prepared to skewer Ketos on all sides, like some sort of twisted magician. A flick of a taloned finger, and the dense slices of waters streaked inwards.
Ketos's spined back tore through the mass of darkness with a burst of hot water!
Balded hide tearing through the shadowy walls and girth propelled by a rush of boiled water from his gullet, the Demon the Deep barreled recklessly at Nosdrah, the pressurized blades bursting into bubbles behind him as they collided. Taken off guard by the odd tactic, the King of the Night was caught right on the dragon's finned spines, rocked back like his slender form was socked by a kaiju-sized boxing glove. The vampire was smashed into the seabed, and then ground along it with a trail of heavy sediment rising behind him. The undead titan thrashed in outrage as the ocean floor peeled skin from his back and Ketos's short spines sawed into his front, stabbing deeper and deeper into the dense flesh of his torso. Ramming into and demolishing a large reef, the vampire and the dragon tumbled in different directions, both cartwheeling through the waves. Ketos recovered first, a swing of his paddled tail righting him. Sneering, the sea monster brought up a first and delivered a hydrokinetic uppercut to Nosdrah's chin. Head snapped up by the 'fist' of water, the ruler of all things wicked and dark spun head over heels. Blood poured from the slender being's jaws, jagged teeth speared into the roof of his own mouth. Deep punctures ran down his chest and stomach in a strip of ragged flesh and spilling blood, and his raw shoulders and spine were peppered with shards of rocks and coral. Bubbles rose up from Ketos parted jaws as he chuckled, eyes narrowed into satisfied slits of hatred. Nosdrah made a small, disapproving hmph sound.
"Here, have some venom to match your eyes, friend."
With a snap of the vampire's talons, a dense cloud of demonic enzyme appeared around Ketos. The Tyrant of the Seas howled as the acidic liquid ate away at his flesh and open wounds. He would not be their only victim though, because with a clench of his mind, the venom was washed towards Nosdrah by a series of violent current of foaming seawater. Unlike Ketos, whose pain was limited to external suffering only, these enzyme-laced water jets bored into the vampire, forcing themselves into the bleeding punctures decorating the front of the King of the Night. As Nosdrah writhed in agony, his own hellish venom liquifying his insides and his tender flesh stripped away by churning water, Ketos laughed thunderously.
"TASTE YOUR OWN MEDICINE!"
The sea dragon grinned. Humans. They were vile, pathetic, worthless little things, but their... figures of speeches, that was the term, were quite excellent at times. Fanged maw still curled into a sinister smile, the Demon the Deep rocketed forward with a swoosh of his tail and loosed a superheated geyser from that toothy grin...
