Personality: If there was ever a kaiju that could be described as the devil, Darklore is it, at least in MM's World. He is the leader of the Legion and the most powerful demon ever. He rules an alien dimension that has long been at war with another. In human terms, the war would be called Heaven vs. Hell. Darklore wants nothing more than the destruction of all life in every universe. He especially hates "heroes" and "goodness", and especially other mystical, non demon entities from his own realm.
In battle, he likes to taunt his victims. He seems to know everything about his opponents, bringing up mistakes and deaths they had caused to enrage them. He takes pleasure in pain, both physical and mental.
Attacks:
- Shadow Bolts: Launched from Darklore’s mighty mace, the death god can fire several blue and purple colored bolts of energy. Each of these bolts has various effects and can change depending on why they’re being used. They almost always cause explosions, but can also burn objects and even have a good amount of force behind each blast.
- Darkness Orb: The Jaws of Death open up to reveal strands of energy dancing between the bone teeth. This energy combines to form an orb of swirling dark colors that soon fires out like a cannon shot. This blast, called the Darkness Orb, is extremely powerful, capable of creating sizable explosions and blasting his opponents several hundred meters back.
- Jaws of Death: Darklore has a habit of adorning the bones of his fallen Gods as armor and weapons. One such victim of his was one of Argus’ brother “Primal Gods” and the jaws of the being were merged onto Darklore’s hand, creating the Jaws of Death.
- Touch of Death: Darklore is the very personification of death. When he grabs a victim (or a victim touches him), he can quickly cause the flesh (or metal in some cases) to turn to cold ash.
- "Come to me...": As a battle rages on and his opponent becomes weaker and more damaged, Darklore can feed off of their soul. The more of their essence he absorbs, a bigger resistance he will gain to their special attacks. For example, if he started absorbing Godzilla's soul, he'd begin to grow a resistance to his atomic ray. In order to become completely immune, he'd have to fully absorb the soul (which is illegal here at UCA because it'd count as killing).
- Chaos Mace: A mace made out of the spine of a fallen God and the bones of another for the actual mace, the Chaos Mace is a near-indestructible tool of destruction. Darklore wields this weapon with skill and should another try and pick up the mace, the weapon will surge them with intense amounts of energy.
- Darkness Tornado: Darklore can generate a powerful tornado, even stronger than an F5, composed of darkness and wind. Like normal twisters, it can suck almost anything up and rip up the landscape. The darkness within it can deal massive damage to opponents also, tearing in and out of their body.
-- Limited 2 uses per match.
- Minions: When the need arises, Darklore can release a few of his captured souls to work outside his body. These souls will reform their former body and keep a fraction of their original power. However, they now obey Darklore's every command. He generally releases "less than desirable" souls he has captured, for once they are killed again, their soul is lost forever. These minions tend to be around 70-80 meters in size with various limbs and weapons (swords, scythes, and maces being the most common). The minions can be killed in one hit to the head and he can only summon two per match. It should also be noted he tends to let the minions speak for themselves and tap into their history. For example, if facing guardians, he will release the soul of a defeated guardian. This minion will act like it had escaped Darklore and seem to work with his foes before back stabbing them.
- Field of Souls: From his body, Darklore can utilize his captured souls and throw them into the ground around him. When this happens, a so-called "Field of Souls" will be created. Springing from the ground, black arms of various size and shape can grasp and slash at opponents and entire walls of twisted bodies (and limbs) can spring up to defend Darklore. The objects in this field can be rather easily destroyed (sort of like Biollante's tentacles), but can prove to be a rather big annoyance for his opponents.
- Possession: For a limited time (like a post), Darklore can possess the body of an opponent, making them hurt themselves or others (such as partners). However, this takes much time to do. The victim must be heavily wounded at the time and near exhaustion. When he possesses them, the victim's eyes will become jet black and wisps of darkness will drift off their bodies. However, in order to make up for this, he can allow his weaker souls to possess a limb of an opponent at any time. When this happens, the affected limb will start attacking its owner, scratching and punching at the body. The limb will start releasing wisps of darkness until the opponent's soul (which is generally much stronger than the released soul) overcomes it and destroys the soul.
Powers:
- Darkness Field: Darklore lifts up his mighty mace and a “bubble” of black forms from it and expands, eventually creating a dome of blackness that cancels out all light, electronic, natural, or supernatural. No light can exist in this one-mile zone of complete darkness.
- Embrace the Death God: Darklore is a being of many souls but has none for himself. While all mighty, the God prides himself in corrupting even the most powerful of Gods. His victims’ bones aren’t just adapted into his body, but their soul also. He gains their knowledge and some of their power. Not just this, but the souls, even the brightest of them all, embrace his darkness. When Darklore speaks, his slaves often speak from within his body, always agreeing with him or repeating what he says. Should Darklore’s body be destroyed, his mind and souls will remain alive and dormant, able to speak with those that contact him.
- Hollow: When needed, Darklore’s body can become “hollow” like a ghost, making attacks and beings simply faze through him.
- Is capable of hovering.
- Wherever Darklore goes, the temperature drops dramatically. This isn't enough to hurt most opponents, but if a kaiju has a weakness to cold, they will generally feel uncomfortable around him.
Weakness: None
