Tetrydactys- The Mammalian Force Juggernaut; vs.Balkzardan - The Guardian of the Light Ref: HayesAJones, extraordinaire. Arena: In the middle of an opening within a forest. The open space is about 1,070 meters circular with dirt/soil, some rocks the size of kaiju-proportioned baseballs and soccer balls (and 3 or four boulders maybe 40-45 meters tall and 50-60 meters wide). The clearing is surrounded by trees that are kaiju proportionate; about maybe...2-3,000 meters tall? think of giant, tall/thick trees to a human, and that's how big these are for the kaiju, giving them the ability to climb the trees and such. Forest is crowded around the circular opening, restricting the kaiju to the opening in the middle. Intro:[/color] Our story starts in the living quarters customized for and designated to one "Tetrydactys"- one of many bastard children fathered by radioactive mutation. The once-innocent occupant to an African forest has since made a full recovery from his fight with Ontslaan, a berserker-type kaiju that has been made a slave since her birth to her unnatural fury, and rage. The two had fought a great fight and were evenly matched, which became apparent as soon as the UCA called the match and announced a draw. Ontslaan had absolutely laid waste to the proud creature's body; severe burns (at least 3rd degree), broken bones, giant blue'ish purple welts with the utmost sensitivity to the areas, you name it. Again, just as it was stated at the beginning, Tetrydactys made a full recovery (thanks to the UCA's regenerative vapor), and in very little time. One would not know it from glancing, but the hero is buried under the ground. He's not sleeping, but rather, resting. He sleeps when he gets the time, in between brawls that put his life on the line. The UCA members see him as clear as day with their special equipment (they're looking at him with some sort of x-ray sensors; his form is visible under the sand), so that they may pinpoint his body for teleportation. The UCA have another match arranged involving him. This fight will be against another hero; The Guardian of Light, the feline-like monster dubbed "Balkzardan." From the ceiling-mounted turret, a thin beam of light that is as white and blinding as the stuff Balkzardan is the Guardian of transcends the earth simulated for the pangolin and energizes his body. In a blinding flash underground, Tetrydactys vanishes from his habitat. In the center of a replicated forest environment, a second flash of light explodes, where in the center, Tetrydactys fases into existance. The UCA has transported him to do fight in an environment that simulates a pangolin's natural habitat. Mammalian Force Juggernaut looks around with that hardened face of his that is devoid of any eyes (to see, Tetrydactys uses something like magnetic imagery). He also sniffs the air with his snout pointed upwards, getting a feel for the arena's scents. The juggernaut's tail flails in the air and comes down hard against the ground, creating impressions in the soil it cracks against. By just clenching his hands into fists, Tetrydactys cracks his knuckles, sensing a fight about to take place and readying himself for whatever opponent has been selected to be the mutant mammal's sparring partner...

A light beamed down from the heavens, striking the ground and releasing Tetrydactys's opponent. The figure was that of Balkzardan, who, in comparison to the Mammalian Force Juggernaut, was quite small. Her head whipped around, taking in the sight of her new environment.
"Oh great," she muttered, as she took in the sight of the gigantic trees. "Why am I always the one who ends up in places like these? One moment I'm on Earth, the next. I'm in some sort of giant building getting pets from a monster tree, and now this?"
The roar of Tetrydactys caught her attention. Balkzardan regarded him for a moment. "Excuse me, oh great, armored, lover of giant trees," she asked. "Do you know what the hell is going on here?"

The unmistakeable voice of the Announcer boomed across the gargantuan forest. "Monsters! COMMENCE COMBAT!"

Hayes, you most CERTAINLY are a scholar and a gentleman.

Tetrydactys roars back to the feline Guardian but does not expect her to understand...but she does understand, through some sort of internal translator in her mind. Tetrydactys' words, "This organization of humans have summoned us to fight, but I refuse; I have no quarrel with you." But suddenly, an unseen force shocks the pangolin from head to toe, to the point of transitioning himself into a kneeling position. Although it hurt, it does not damage the mammal. Apparently just a tool for "motivation" for fighting. Balkzardan notices and nods at Tetrydactys, barking back, "I understand the circumstances, and I will hold no grudge if you will fight me. It will seem to benefit us both, after seeing "them" do that to you; and I am sorry that it was you and not me they demonstrated on..." If he doesn't, if they don't fight...they'll only be punished by who knows what devices. Still not keen on the idea of fighting this fellow hero, Tetrydactys stands and readies for battle anyways; he mournfully nods in agreement. This is one of those few times that he wishes his prototype super soldier serum didn't include those mood stabilizers...because at least then, he could fight in a 'roid rage and be too overwhelmed to reason what was going on. So now, forced into fighting, they are. (that part narrated by Yoda apparently, lololol).
Mammalian Force Juggernaut is the primary to go on the offensive. He drives his claws into the stiff grouping of soil under his feet and grabs hold firmly. He starts stepping back to put some meters of distance between his clenched hands and legs (and some resistance). With a powerful tug, Tetrydactys pulls himself forward and enters his body into a short leap. He's already prepared to run when his feet touch the ground, so as they do, he fluidly enters a charge (his maneuver just meant to boost his upcoming attack). The Juggernaut's thunderous stomps lightly shake the overall earth and even crack open even kaiju soccer ball sized ovular stones stuck in the ground along his path. Balkzardan induces gusts of wind to resist Tetrydactys and lower his damage, so naturally she expects the attack to be substantially lessened, enough for her to take the attack just fine. Tetrydactys rams shoulder-first into her and sends her flying (and feeling) like she was just hit by a freight train! Soreness immediately overpowers her senses as the particular sense throbs throughout her front/chest.
Balkzardan soars through the air at Mach 1.5-Mach 2 but comes to a stop from hard contact with a tree strangely wider than her (all the trees were...). The impact was inevitable and is a result of the ram (so not the second attack, right guys? just checking and making sur3). The solid blow created by hitting the tree with force created by the potent ram shakes Balkzardan's body down to the very bones, but she does not relent; she can't! She falls downwards and lands on her four paws. She does cough up a couple blobs of blood, mucus, and saliva. Tetrydactys roars victoriously and is satisfied with his shedding of first blood (yes, is a movie reference to First Blood: Part I). Tetrydactys follows up by running at his opponent and swiping with his grizzly claws. She nimbly dodges like a feline would be expected to, then lunges to sink her jaws down on the pangolin mutant's left elbow. She masterfully avoids the scales lining the forearm, and channels countless volts of electricity through his hulking form. His muscles spasm as they (his whole body in fact) suffer the effects of Balkzardan's electrocution. He growls out of disdain for being attacked, but the different types of steroids pumping through/consisting of in his blood prevent any serious/influencing pain, whether Tetrydactys prefers it or not.
Tetrydactys swipes down with his opposite set of claws, but The Guardian of Light dodges again. The mutant juggernaut takes notice of her swift and nimble reflexes and movement. Tetrydactys is no speed demon, and nowhere near Balkzardan's par, but he is at least quick in his own right; quicker than most kaiju of his stature and build. Tetrydactys closes in and sweeps his tail under the feline empress, an action that she leaps to dodge.
Exactly what the Mammalian Force Juggernaut's plan called for.
The unstoppable force of nature sends his clenched fists hammering down (both hands held together) and plunges his makeshift "club" into Balkzardan's back, square in the middle that sends a flood of pain surging up and down her spine. Her legs immediately give way and she tumbles down onto her stomach. Whether she likes it or not (and it's a safe bet that she does not like her present predicament), she's presently stunned. That damn pangolin knew how and where to hit her for most effective results. A tender, swollen bruise forms around the impact site only to beat with sore pulses. The pangolin bruiser leaps to cling to a tree adjacent to the Light Priestess and climbs it fast. Once he gets to just under the branches, Tetrydactys pushes off against the solid bark with his legs and descends down, momentum naturally building. Gravity brings Tetrydactys down precisely upon his sparring partner with an elbow drop. His appendage hits with a "crack" just behind Balkzardan's head, against the neck. This attack results in a distracting headache and a stiff neck. A second surge of pain travels down her spinal column and boosts the duration of Balkzardan's body's stiffness.
She growls in distress, while thinking, Man... This animal can fight! But so can she. Just as soon as she can move her limbs again... In the meantime, Tetrydactys grabs hold of his current enemy's head and raises a knee. With vigor, he drives her head down to smash it against his brawny knee...

And smash her head, he did.
Balkzardan fell to the ground, dazed at the blow her larger opponent had given her. She glanced up, only to see Tetrydactys's foot coming down on top of her head! Her mouth opened in what Tetrydactys expected to be a scream.
It wasn't.
Instead, multiple laser bursts flew out of her open maw, each "bullet" exploding against the mammalian force juggernaut's foot and leg. While individually they weren't all that powerful, it was their numbers that gave them strength. The explosions toppled Tetrydactrys, and stripped away flesh on the unarmored parts of his foot and leg. The sole of his foot had taken the brunt of the attack, and as a result, looked like something you would slap onto a Mc Donald's hamburger.
As Tetrydactys climbed to his feet, he realized something was wrong. Balkzardan was gone. Grunting, he looked from side to side, searching for the metallic cat. Where on earth was-?
A massive shockwave from behind Tetrydactys sent him flying into one of the particularly large trees. The impact shattered the trunk and caused the tree to start falling. But Balkzardan wasn't done yet. The speedy guardian ran past Tetrydactys at mach speeds, racing the falling tree. Managing to get ahead, she spun around, leapt into the air, and rammed the tree at mach five. A temporary force field protected her body from the blow, but the tree was not so lucky. Instead, the tree tilted back in the opposite direction, Balkzardan perched atop it. She smirked at Tetrydactys's horrified look as the tree's shadow loomed over him.
The resulting crash shook the entire forest. Balkzardan hopped off the trunk and spotted her foe, crushed underneath the huge trunk. Well, if he was pinned down like this, why not attack? So Balkzardan did just that, her mouth opening to fire her wide, non-explosive laser...

Tetrydactys' rear scales take the brunt of the damage and greatly lessen the energy-based blow. They take most of, but not all of the damage. The section directly next to the back is lightly burnt. Tetrydactys summons his steroid-induced strength to push the tree off of his self and burrows underground, plotting a sneak attack on the sneaky stealth feline Guardian. Balkzardan stands at the ready, but gets taken by surprised by the shooting pain in her rear left leg; Tetrydactys' powerful jaws have clamped around the shin and press down as hard as he can push them. Biting and thrashing, the pangolin tenderizes the limb and shreds the exterior flesh. But it's nothing some electricity can't take care of. Balkzardan conducts a shock through her body and into Tetrydactys'. The pangolin can only last several seconds before he's forced to give up the leg and return underground. The specific point on her leg is accumulating blood from the rough treatment that befell on it. It was the start of the Juggernaut of a mammal's plan to slow his quarry down for future engagements.
Tetrydactys enters into a roll, now curled up into a ball. When he approaches Balkzardan, she leaps to fly over her rolling opponent, but the reaction was anticipated; Tetrydactys uncurls and brings her down with his tail- effectively, but not harmfully. Now on his two feet, Tetrydactys the Mammalian Juggernaut whirrs his tail drill on and strikes it into Balkzardan's left side. The organic power tool fights against the hardened, armor-like exterior, and sparks spray from the combating body parts. Soon, blood replaces the sparks, because Mammalian Force Juggernaut's assault weapon breaches the skin and starts pushing down into The Warrior of Light. He avoids going [too] deep so to avoid breaking the rules, but the pangolin causes serious damage alright; serious damage, and bloodshed. His drill-tipped tail returns to behind the mutant mammal, the drill deactivated.
Now, Mammalian Force Juggernaut approaches a tall and thick tree after a running start. He jumps once, and again; the second jump comes from pushing off against the tree bark . Returning to a curled state, Tetrydactys comes down heavily upon the female feline- all 82,000 tons (plus whatever added weight to his body from gravity and momentum). A spray of saliva exits her mouth simultaneously with a pain-filled cry, and fresh blood is pressed outside the penetration gash. The blood does not spray; instead, it pushes out slowly and gathers artound the wound in bulk. Where Tetrydactys landed scales-first, shallow cuts are ;eft by the edged armor-scales, and a swelling bluish purple bruise, sensitively aching. Tetrydactys ends his turn by picking up Balkzardan by her legs and spinning around to build momentum. After it's accumulated, the Juggernaut opens his hands and just...watches as Balkzardan propels through the air and closes in on a thick tree trunk, about to collide head-first...
