(Can't believe I forgot about this. *face palm*) Leviathan: ucarena.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=approved&action=display&thread=383vs Crigan: ucarena.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=approved&action=display&thread=296Ref: Need one, please. It seemed suitable that a being with such a cold heart would be fighting in such a cold place. But even the freezing winds of the Arctic could not distract Leviathan's attention. While waiting for Crigan to arrive, he had just remembered where he had heard his name. Back when he had descended into hell and murdered all in his path, he had passed by one of the prisons. He recalled that the demons running the prison had been in panic before he had even reached their sights, shouting about escaped prisoners. Crigan was one of the names that had been thrown around by the demons. So during all the chaos created by his assault one hell all those years ago, he had accidentally created the perfect chance for a few of hell's prisoners to escape. And unless Leviathan was mistaken, Crigan was one of them. The serpent grinned. It was time to show that worm just how tame hell really was...

A bright light shone down befor eLeviathan, and from it, emerged Crigan, the serpentine deity of Antimatter looking upon his foe as the light faded. As he looked upon Leviathan and waited for the match to begin, his mind went back to the days of old, before Persephone had tortured him for 500 years, before Old Hell had been reduced to rubble...
Back then, he had been the one who ferried the souls of the dead from the Pokemon World to Old Hell. Normally, such a job would be for Dusknoir, but he had mysteriously vanished, so Crigan, known back then as Giratina, had been the one taking souls through the Distortion World and into Old Hell, which had lacked a ruler for countless years until its demise. He had been a friend of the prison keepers, and was widely known as a good being to be around. Their word for them had been the name he now bore, which depending upon dialect, could mean either Little Rock, War Machine, or Shadowy One. At the time, he had felt rather comftorable about his services to Old Hell. However, when he had heard of the massacre that had occured, and of those few demons who had escaped to establish the Hell that was now in existance, a deep dread had come across his soul, and he knew that things would be very diffrent from then on. He had still kept his duty even for the current Hell, but that had changed when he had been taken captive by the demons under Persephone's command. Pain, unphantomable pain and agony in the couple of years leading up to, including, and after that inprisonment flashed through his eyes, and he shoke them away. That was behind him. What he didn't know, was that before him, was the one who had changed all that, the very one who had layed waste to the old system, and had unknowingly set up his nightmarish life... or so he thought...

(Coulda sworn someone had this one...
Well, apologies, and ignoring my own forgetfulness, let's do this thing.)
As Leviathan's consciousness surged back into his body, the rolling voice of the Announcer shook the subzero wasteland like a child does a snow globe.
"Fffffighters! COMMENCE... COMBAT!"

i already posted this in the colosseum, but whatever. I have a nasty sick bug at the moment, so I might not be able to post for a day or two. Sorry for any inconvenience.
EDIT: And then I got a massive homework overload. Stupid English...

Only seconds after the announcer started the match, the snow and ice beneath Crigan's long body surged upwards while morphing into the shape of a very sharp spear. The incredibly sharp icicle-like structure speared itself into Crigan's underside, earning a cry from the ancient worm and spilling blood onto the icicle, giving it a sickening red hue. (Crigan's blood is red, right?)
"My element..." Leviathan started, gazing around the arena as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. "Water. This place is filled with it." And with that said, two more icicles sprouted up from the ground on Crigan's left and right sides, formed a curve in midair, and stabbed themselves behind Crigan's head. The sea serpent paused to enjoy the resulting wail of his foe.
"In this frozen world, the land itself is my weapon." A fourth icicle sprung up and curved, pointing right into Crigan's face. "Tell me Crigan. How exatcly do you expect to fight me in this match? What can you do to-"
A bluish fireball exploded from Crigan's maw, melted the icicle pointed at his face, and exploded against the side of Leviathan's main head, interrupting his speech. The sea serpent hissed in anger and fired off his own oral weapon from the attacked head. The heat beam slammed into Crigan's armored chest, throwing the Pokemon off the icicles and warping the armor it struck. Crigan was thrown to the snowy ground. The blast point looked like a spiral melted into the armor, the color of several dark greys and hints of black.
An energy orb, red as blood, began to form in Leviathan's hands. "I think, Crigan, that you may need to learn some respect," Leviathan warned. "Allow me to give you a lesson."
With a swing of his massive arms, Leviathan flung the torture orb in Crigan's direction. The Ruler of the Distortion World was going suffer incredible pain if the attack hit...

(OOC: Yeah, his blood is red.)
Crigan may have been hurting from Leviathan's attacks, but the fight had only started, and he was not going to let him get away with the torture ball.
With a powerful beat of his shadowy wings, the Ruler of Distortion managed to fling himself up into the air, just barely dodging the torture ball. The sphere exploded upon impact with an ice shelf far off behind him.
"You know, the last time I heard those words, I was tortured for 500 years and used as a weapon. That pain still lives strong, but I use it to fight. How am I to take you on here?" A glint flashed in Crigan's eye. "I'll take you on in whatever way I feel like it."
The sound of ice jetting up from below him told him to fly to the side, which he did, thus dodging the massive icicle. He darted forward, the red edges of his wings glowing brightly as he flew right past Leviathan. The sea serpent roared in surrpise and pain as blood splattered onto the ice. How had his armor been breached so easilly? It should have repelled that...
Crigan was quick to take advantage of Leviathan's surprise by circling around, then ramming into the serpent head-first. Though it did very little damage, it did cause the serpent to fall onto his back. The demonic tapeworm ignored the scraped flesh on his head that had been caused by Leviathan's scales as he opened his mouth, signaling another fireball.
A sharp stinging sensation ripped though his neck. Several of leviathan's stinging tendrils had latched onto his neck, but the Ruler of Antimatter bore through the pain and fired the flaming sphere regardless, the fireball heading right for the downed sea monster...

The fireball exploded against Leviathan's backside with enough heat and force to melt a crater into the ice around the monster. Crigan circled around, diving towards the serpent. He tilted his shadowy wings, preparing to slice into Leviathan during his second pass.
The legendary monster's muscular tail flipped into the air, nailing a blow across the giratina's face. He was quickly sent hurtling to the ground by the powerful blow, skidding across the icy land and into the side of a glacier. Bending the power of frozen water to his will, it wasn't long before the glacier began to collapse at the wicked serpent's command. Each boulder of ice and snow morphed into spiked balls on their way down, and Crigan's resulting cry could be heard even above the roar of the disintegrating glacier.
Leviathan would have enjoyed the sight, had columns of discarded snow not obscured the wondrous view. That tail slam he had used earlier was costly; a good number of his tendril's had been severed by Crigan's wings in the process. Ignoring the sharp pain, Leviathan began to disintegrate the hulking pile of spiked ice and snow even further, dawning the molecules apart until it morphed into a liquid.
Crigan was visible in the odd bubble of water now, featuring dozens scars along his body that gave the water bubble a reddish tint. All three heads of Leviathan sneaked a sadistic grin, before the head of the now dead mongolian death worm spat forth several bolts of intense lightning into the water bubble.
The Pokemon's body was enveloped in agony, his muscles violently spasming uncontrollably. As the left head continued it's torture, the right head of the naga leaned forward to cast it's own weapon, a freezing blast of mist coupled with sharp shards of ice, an attack that could wreak havoc on Crigan's body temperature if the bubble of water became too cold, or else froze entirely...

Even with his muscles heavily spasming, Crigan still had enough control over them to get out of the way.
The demonic tapeworm lurched to the side, popping the water bubble as he escaped, narrowly avoiding the icy attack. The two serpentine monsters locked eyes, apparently waiting for the other to attack...
Crigan failed to notice the icicle coming from below until it was too late.
He cried out in pain as it pierced his underbelly, crimson blood splattering into the ground. Leviathan chuckled.
That, was a grave mistake. For far too long had the Ruler fo Distortion been as a source of humor, tortured and used as a joke down in Hell. It broguht painful memories, and Crigan hated them. His eyes narrowed as an uneartly screech ripped from his maw, one that shocked Leviathan out of his chuckling.
Moving with a speed that seemed impossible for his size, the pokemon flew at Leviathan. Before the sea monster could react, he was upon him, the jaws of the legendary around the back of Leviathan's main neck. The Narga and worm heads pelted him with pain to try to get him off, but he didn't care. He kept his grip on, the body cinstricting aroudn Leviathan's like a deadly boa, all the while flames forming in Crigan's maw...
A sudden explosion of fire engulfed the combatants, the result of Crigan discharging the fireball at point-blank range. When the snow had cleared, what was there was a hole in the ice, which meant only one thing...
THey had gone under the ice.
In the subzero temperature of the underice sea, Crigan felt like he was in his natural environment, the cold, airless world of the Distortion World. He swam through the water toward a stunned Leviathan, energy gathering around his 6 wings as he prepared to uneash a Focus Blast....

Sorry. It's school again. It might be a bit late asking this, but could we put this match on hold until the weekend? I have way too much work to do.

Is this okay with you, giratina? You don't have to agree, just to let you know. In that case, the match would be called in your favor on disqualification.

I'm very sorry, KK, but I think I'm going to have to disagree. I want to do this match, but the problem is, it's dragged on for so long due to problems on both of our sides, and I forsee this taking 2 months to end... I just can't afford to have a match go on that long. I have a plot I'd like to push forward, and I can't do that when Crigan suspended in a fight for over a month...
