With his body ravaged by that last assault, Carcharius cannot avoid the ice sphere, which impacts and freezes part of his body in the process. What he can do, however, is keep barreling through. The Atlantean defender is shocked that this...thing, can take such a beating and keep on coming. His momentary shock is enough to slow him so that Carcharius slams into him at high speed, driving them both to the bottom of the shallow waters, shattering coral reefs and kicking up all manner of debris and dust. Carcharius sinks his fangs into the cephalopod's head, rending flesh and armor alike with ease as he pumps more anti-coagulant into the wound before swallowing the bloody mess whole.
With his tentacles pinned beneath him, Sharteuth is helpless as Carcharius continues to slash and bite, tearing more and bloodier furrows in the monster's flesh. But this is not the attacks of an insane mad-monster, no. Carcharius has a purpose. He can sense this monster's heartbeat, knows precisely where it is. And he will stop at nothing to get to it. His fangs flash crimson again as he tears loose one final plate of armor. All that stands in his way is the tough flesh of monster's head, as he readies to unleash a powerful fireball directly into the wound...

Sharpteuth cannot avoid the fireball, but he can inflict his own pain. He stabs his dagger-tipped tentacles forward, piercing the chest and sticking a dagger into each hand. Carcharius' head raises at an angle in surprise, lobbing the fireball into armor rather than bare flesh, still damaging but not as bad. Sharpteuth removes his weapons and plants heated hooks deep into Carcharius' back as he swims forward, dragging the shark's chest across a coral reef, sharp large pieces becoming lodged between layers of flesh and meat. A trail of blood stays behind as Sharpteuth drags his opponent, then with a quick jerk, rips his hooks out. Looping, Carcharius uses his Underwater Bullet attack to come down hard on Carcharius' back, slicing through it opening a large wound with the tip of his shell. Then, Sharpteuth presses two extended blades against Carcharius' sides, and launches them at point-blank range...

Even as the bladed tentacles perforated his flesh, Carcharius pressed on. One would think that he would have sustained a mortal injury by now. The truth is, that all this damage was just making him hungrier. Blood was everywhere, intoxicating his senses. Instead of trying to pull the weapons out of his body, Carcharius just grabbed them and used his immense strength to reel Sharpteuth in before biting down hard on his head. Blood, ink, and all manner of mechanical fluids filled his maw as he tore loose a chunk fo flesh and armor before swallowing it whole.
The squid writhed in agony as Carcharius repeated the process, before finally deciding to let his claws do the work as they dug into the kraken's flesh and pried loose more armor plating before going in for one more bite...

Sharpteuth soaks the shark with ink; his face, mouth, eyes, his body's injuries. The thick foreign fluid infects the gaping wounds and causes burning, stinging pain, as well as in the eyes. The foul taste causes the shark to back off as he is brought back to reality for just a moment. Sharpteuth hooks his heated anchors into Carcharius' neck, then pulls back, tearing out flesh and causing a spray of blood. Sharpteuth sprays his ink once more, saturating the gaping throat injury, causing it to burn with pain even further as the ink dirties the injury. Sharpteuth now sends a large tidal wave littered with forged blades and spiked maces crashing down on Carcharius...

Carcharius is swept away by the tidal wave, as all manner of debris lacerates his flesh. When the water finally settles there is no sign of the mutant fish. It seems that it is finally finished. That in the end, Sharpteuth was victorious. The squid breathed a sigh of relief. It was finally over. The raving psychopath was down for the count.
Or was he?
From out of the murky depths, Carcharius erupted, spraying water and fireballs as he leaped high into the air, the flaming projectiles slamming into Sharpteuth, blinding the squid and searing his flesh as Carcharius slams into him from above. The shark has gone beyond his hunger. What little intelligence he gained from Hera has been completely subsumed by his need to feed. And feed he shall. He fangs flash crimson as he bites and claws in a furious storm of talon and fang. The kraken's body, stripped of its defenses, is no match for this onslaught. Blood, ink and other fluids sprayed the battlefield down as Carcharius jammed his modified pectoral fins into the kraken's body, ripping a pair of bloody gashes along the monster's flank.
Carcharius bellowed in triumph as he prepared to sink his fangs into the cephalopod's head for one final bite...

"Attention!" cried the Announcer. "The match has been decided! The winner is Carcharius! I repeat, the winner is Carcharius!"
(Pretty awesome matches, guys. Sharpteuth put up an excellent fight and probably would have won against many other opponents, but Carchs could just take and dish out more damage overall.)

Agreed. excellent fight Omega! thank you ^_^
----------------------- -----------------------
Sharpteuth is exhausted from battle. His wounds are too great; the Atlantian's kraken must head to the retirement center to heal from extensive damage. He is teleported to the retirement center, where he can lay and heal his body.

((Great fight.))
Carcharius howled in fury as his kill was denied to him again. But, rather than pitch a fit about it and start destroying the landscape, he entered the teleport beacon and disappeared in a flash of light. His handler with the UCA was surprised. Even with the signs of increased intelligence, this was new. Foor Carcharius, it was not a matter of overcoming his considerable hunger. It was merely a quest for revenge. In order to overcome his hunger, he needed an equally strong emotion. A what was stronger, after all, than hate. Hate for the monsters that kept escaping his hunger, and hate for the monster that had made him what he was today...
Hate, for Hera.
