A beam of light erupted almost as soon as the other one was finished. The tired Auroros had been nursed back to health at ungodly speed, but he definitely wasn't pleased with this. He needed to rest both physically and mentally, but it's not like he had a choice. The giant sky creature cawed aloud, his senses picking up the goliath (ba-dum-chhh) bug before him. Auroros sighed, as he flew up, readying himself for combat.
"Time to see how good you fight, ya bugger," Auroros hissed.

Goliath hisses, the fusion between a water beetle, a bombardier beetle, a stag beetle, hercules beetle, and his namesake, a goliath beetle. Auroros cackles gloriously in the sky before dive-bombing Armored Insect Monolith. He starts by clawing away at Goliath's shell, but the organic armor is quite strong to begin with; strong enough to reduce the talons capable of boring to just shallow scratches and mere cosmetic damage. Seeing the uselessness in attacking this specific location, Auroros switches the attack plan. The guardian avian-like creature ascends into the sky before looping a few times to build up speed, then comes flying towards the beetle chimera like a just bullet. He passes by overhead; Useless, thinks Goliath, but his opinion is altered by the sonic boom formed by Auroros' speed that crashes into him. He is thrown against the ground, rattled by the concussive blow, and rolls; he damages the serene grass and ground of the grassland. While he rises to his four legs and vulnerable, Auroros dives for him once more, but our story's insect puts to use his defense mechanism. Angling his tail, the tip blossoms and releases a torrent of corrosive liquid. The spray literally sprays all over Auroros; his chest, wings (more the left than the right), face, and finally, the right thigh. The juices belonging to the thigh drip down along the foot, increasing the damage output. Surprised and mentally stunned by the retaliation on Goliath's part, The Guardian of Eternity uncontrollably crashes into the dirt ground hard enough to send shivers tingling throughout the avian's carcass.
As he fights minor disorientation, The Guardian of Eternity staggers to his feet and spreads his wings. The unsettling noise of feathers and flesh sizzling, corroding, is all the hero can focus on at this present moment in time. The caustic fluid dissolves through the coating of feathers and corrodes Auroros' very flesh. As a result of the dissolving, little clouds of steam emanate from the points of attack.
Before the acid can ruin his wings and prevent flight, Auroros starts beating them violently to either dry the liquid and/or gust it off. He succeeds, though the damage to his body has already been accomplished. Now, he can feel the tenderness where the defensive acid dissolved. Goliath hisses in delight over succeeding the bird during its attack. The smell of the acid overwhelms Auroros' sense of smell, which is vital to his fighting and pinpointing an enemy. With him disorientated by the temporary lack of an important sense, Goliath is able to scurry forward in a rush and clamp his mandibles around Eternity's Hero's chest. They clench into a powerful vice as Goliath prepares to submit Auroros to a trademark method of attack; not only that, but a brute force-based assault, to which Auroros is particularly vulnerable to... The pincers squeeze ever so tight, limiting Auroros' ability to breath as Goliath raises his head and thrashes it around, rendering Auroros and shaking the sense out of him. Auroros wheezes as Goliath's onslaught violently jerks the avian about, violently rattling bones and causes "crack" noises to originate in the chest. After satisfactory time, Goliath performs phase two of his combo attack- he spreads his wings underneath the back's armor and hovers up, then throws his head down hard just as he releases his clamp, throwing Auroros hard into the grassy ground. Goliath's strength so effective, Auroros creates a light indentation of his form in the ground, and the concussive damage travels outwards through the body.
Eternity's Guardian is exceptionally sore from the concussive/force-based damage. But Goliath isn't done yet; he pins Auroros back-first against the ground, dirtying the feathers of white purity with brown soil and begins clawing at the avian's tender chest. Without the top layer of feathers and the layer of skin to protect himself, the razor sharp claws surgically slice into the opponent's body, each slash inciting the release of blood and carving deep into the bird (thanks to the tenderness gifted by the acid earlier). Auroros struggles with the superior weight of the insect stapling him down, and the sharp pains in his chest birthed by Goliath's arms. Finally, Goliath ends his third attack, and with the use of his wings, hovers about 45 meters off the ground/off his opponent. Then, the chimera beetle descends downwards, attempting to crash his solid 84,000 tons of mass into Auroros' chest that is soaking up the crimson ichor like a sponge and tainting the feathers as pure-white as his consciousness...

Auroros was in pain, but he was ready for his foe's attack. He could sense to bug approaching like a meteor, and he had a plan on how to get out of the way (he could thank Hyperion for that knowledge). Getting quickly to his feet, Auroros soon dove out from where Goliath was going to land, narrowly avoiding getting crush beneath his opponent's tonnage. The massive beetle seemed... dispeased, but he soon repayed his foe, who was attempting to fly away at the moment. Soon a spray of acid splashed across Auroros' back.
The Guardian of Eternity yelped, before he dove down to the earth. Acting quick, the feathered creature rubbed himself along the grass and dirt, acting quickly to keep the acids from eating anymore into him than it already had. The sizzling soon stopped, much to Auroros' pleasure. The winged beast soon beat his wings once more, and took to the skies again. Goliath soon spread his wings, and began to fly after his much smaller foe. The bug was surprised when a wall of fiery light engulfed his form. The intense heat caused the bug to scream in pain as his form soon burst into flames. Auroros had spat his trademark light ray at the monster, and it soon began to feel the terrifying pain of the beam's intense heat.
Goliath soon fled, landing on the floor and flailing about in an attempt to put out the flames that burned his body. But Auroros didn't let up. Soon, the bird like creature's talons became aglow with light, before he flung them at his foe like fiery boomerangs. The "light blades" soon struck Goliath's shell, leaving light cuts in his shell and leaving smoldering claw marks in their wake. Goliath soon turned to Auroros, aiming to fly up once more, but his face was suddenly struck by a glowing orb of light.
The orb exploded in a flash of light, temporarily blinding the massive insect. Auroros chuckled as he passed once more overhead, using his super senses to locate the bug and determine how he was doing. It was doing okay for now... but he was about to put this brute's endurance to the test. Another light beam was soon shot from Auroros' maw, aiming directly for the bug...

With luck, Goliath dodges the light beam, only because he's scurrying around in confusion from his disabled (for the moment) eyes. Without sight, the endeavoring beetle digs through the layer of topsoil and tunnels down to safety until his vision returns; Auroros immediately takes towards the sky to avoid a sneak attack. Minutes go by with zero activity, but the time comes when Goliath pokes out of the grassland with his horns and crawls out to the base of the chest. That's all he can exit, because ready to strike, Auroros hits Goliath with a sonic boom that rips him out of the dirt and sends him smashing against the ground and rolling some distance back. Not only his shell, but Goliath's body is scuffed up and dirtied by soil.
Auroros circles and swoops down to pick up his pray in talons, but Goliath is more recovered than The Guardian of Light gives him credit for. Once the light lobber is in close enough proximity that he can't change his designated action, Goliath unsheathes his wings in order to take flight. Armored Insect Monolith chooses to fly backwards towards Auroros; the end result- the avian flies in hot and crashes into Goliath's ever-solid shell (which he closes into it just a second before Auroros impacts). The end result is satisfactory, for Goliath; Auroros bruises some ribs and gets all the wind knocked out of his lungs.
The monstrous, snowy white kaiju falls to the ground and hits with a "thud", cratering the soil underneath him. Goliath lands on his quadrupedal legs and clawed feet, echoing a "thud" from the hefty mass that lands. Next on the menu- a favored combination attack involving penetration and a brute demonstration from Goliath. He scoops up Auroros with his two-pronged horn, and lifts the enemy up to skewer him on the major horn of the insect! The horn pierces the right shoulder and lets Auroros dange. For the final phase, Goliath hovers up with his cargo, and darts down, sandwiching Eternity's Bodyguard against the ground and pushing the horn through Auroros, deeper in. Auroros shakes his head while roaring.
Goliath flies away and lands some 10's of meters away from his downed prey. Auroros is tending with Goliath's all-physically detailed attacks and method of attack. The insect monolith performs a body slam, slamming his birth into Auroros' rear, then prepares to perform one more...

Auroros takes the second slam with just as little grace as the last blow, a loud heave audible from the feathered king of the skies when the massive girth of the armor plated behemoth came crashing down upon his fragile form. Auroros groaned, Goliath's cold, insectoid gaze showing no signs of sympathy for his foe. The insect reared up, readying his massive pincers for his foe's decapitation, but Auroros began to muster up his strength.
Suddenly, Goliath could feel the bird's form getting warm. The bird like creature's form began to glow brightly, the light hypnotizing the big brutish bug. he instinctively backed off from the great heat, yet could not resist staying near the beautiful, alluring aura around his foe. Suddenly, a wall of light erupted from Auroros, engulfing him and Goliath entirely in a blinding blast of heat and light. The bug let out an unearthly scream as his armored hide suddenly burst into flame from the intense heat. The bug struggled the put himself out, but Auroros wasn't about to give him that chance. Getting to his feet and, with a flap of his wings, Auroros was off again.
A beam of light shot from Auroros' maw, slicing its way over Goliath and adding more heat to the still sizzling bug. Goliath rolled around the put his flames out, which, while successful, also ended up setting the surrounding brush aflame in the process. Angered, Goliath spread his wings out and took to the skies, revenge polluting the normally instinctive beast's mind. Auroros' skill in the skies and excellent senses allowed him to track Goliath's every move, even with his lack of sight. The bird flew about, flaunting his air superiority to the bug. Goliath spat a stream of acid at Auroros, but the feathery creature simply maneuvered out of the way of the blast.
Goliath suddenly saw Auroros swoop by him, the bug feeling sharp claws raking across his flank and left sides. Some insectoid blood dripped from the wounds, but Goliath was overall unharmed. Grunting, Goliath rotated back to Auroros, who was still dancing about the skies like an aerial ballerina. Suddenly, a glow filled Auroros' tail, before the orb was flung in Goliath's direction...

The orb washes over Goliath's shell on impact and bathes it in pure light. At this point, Goliath's protection is dry, grainy, and breathing steam. Armored Insect Monolith feels the heat radiating from his shell, irritating him. Goliath's mouth clicks together underneath an extended hiss. The Guardian of Eternity is proving to be a real pest (no pun intended. ...at first. p;<), but unfortunately for him, Goliath's species are the original pests of existance. The insect readies himself.
Goliath gives a subtle hint of preparing to attack by lifting his translucent wings and flapping them in short series, and purely evil sounding growls, like those from a demon. Auroros flaps his white wings to maintain hovering 40 meters above the ground. The organic monolith's tail curls around with no warning and sprays several showers of caustic "rain" but Eternity's Protector's heightened senses allow him to avoid the first stream. Goliath manipulates his opponent's movements and overall position by continuing to spray; the final discharge gets Auroros to dive out of the way and end up belly-first against the grassy ground, plant life dying around him from where the acid has landed. Goliath faked his big retaliation into being the acid, and gives Auroros an undeserved sense of relief. Goliath lunges into the air, approaching the avian with a quick burst of speed, sheathing his wings and turning so that he crash-lands into Auroros of Eternity's back. Auroros' roar is as unprepared as it sounds, and the cause of it being the blunt-force trauma of lean 84,000 tons of weight crushing him.
Auroros' nerves flare to life from the painful stimuli, irritation running along the spine from the direct hit, and the muscles in the back swelling while the skin underneath feathers becomes blue and purple swirled together as bruising. Goliath does not climb off of his quarry; he instead drives his forehead's horn forward and into the Guardian's back. Targeting the sensitive bruising, Goliath insistently forks his two-pronged horn into the location and drives upwards while the edges are present inside the resulting lacerations. He's butchering the enemy to his existence! The beetle-chimera loosens the meat from the designation and rips it loose. Chunks of meat in small quantities are heaved into the air and land 30 meters to the right, all while blood sprays into Armored Insect Monolith's face.
With the pain in his spine dimmed to a low [enough] level, Auroros can finally fight back. He flaps his wings and maneuvers his body violently; in the end, Goliath chooses to scurry off and backwards instead of dealing with the bird-like titan's thorough resistance. Eternity's Chosen One ascends into the- correction[/color], Eternity's Chosen One tries to escape towards the sky, but is held down [painlessly] by the chimera's effective vice tools. Goliath is too heavy to lift, but that does not stop Auroros from trying to escape. Goliath's tail angles so that this time, he may [intentionally] use his body's fluids to continue concentrating sorrow around the snow white kaiju's body. The tip blossoms open and projects a sheet of astringent spray that lands all over Auroros' neck and very-upper chest. The steam that immediately leads astray from the sizzling target is a testament to Goliath's materials performing their task dutifully. Finally, Goliath rips his head to the opposite direction, attempting to slam Auroros into the ground on Goliath's left...

Unable to escape from his foe's grip, Auroros in slammed into the ground with thunderous power. Auroros cried out in pain, his shruill scvream filling the air with his howls. A feeling of anger overcame Auroros, something he didn't feel very often. he wanted this bug to suffer! Suddenly, Auroros' form became very warm.... EXTREMELY warm. Soon, the heat became almost unbearable, yet Goliath held tight.
A poor choice.
Auroros soon erupted superheated light in all directions, once more scorching the insect and causing fire to erupt on him. The bug cried out in pain, relinquishing Auroros as he panicked, trampling anything in his path. Auroros quickly took to the skies, avoiding his fear-stricken foe. Acting quick, Auroros sensed his foe's location once more using his great senses. He dove down with lightning speed, and, with amazing force, Auroros collided talons first into the bulkier insect's side. The force of the impact caused the bug to roll onto its side, still aflame, with Auroros' talons jammed into his softer sides. Flapping his wings, Auroros dislodged himself, befor he began to put the hurt on his foe.
Auroros' talons sliced and diced across his foe's body, blood squirting all over as his claws cut through the weaker bottom armor. Goliath struggled to right himself in this position, relatively defenseless without his massive head to use. But he still wasn't UTTERLY defenseless. His tail's tip opened up, before an acidic spray fired out. But Auroros actually managed to avoid to attack out of sheer luck as h pulled back for another attack. Mouth filling with light, Auroros soon fired a ray of light from his maw, planning to burn the bug even more....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DZ ^___^
Goliath burrows into the ground to escape the attack. The beam strikes his backside, scorching it to quite a degree, but nothing more. Auroros can hear the bug hiss in disarray as it scuttles deeper underground. Now Auroros looks around, trying to gain an advantage, when Goliath bursts forth from the earth, mouth clacking, and his mandibles clamp around Auroros. With his wings active, Goliath stays in flight; the two struggle, Auroros trying to get out of the hold, and Goliath keeping it with ease. After some moments...
CRACK
Something inside snaps; not in half, not fatally, but something is wrecked. Auroros can't pinpoint the specific part of his body, because of all the physical blows dealt to him, as are his bane. It has been luck, really, that Goliath specializes in physical devastation, the thing that Auroros is especially vulnerable to.
Goliath throws Auroros to the side like trash. He curls his tail up and sprays Auroros for the umpteenth time. The chest, the target for the current and previous acid baths, is polluted from toxic build up, corrosion. As mangled and as unnatural as it looks, it hurts even more. Now Goliath chooses to jut forward and slash a diagonal carving with his two-pronged horn. The edges slice through the eroded flesh because of its creamy substance, releasing puss and unnatural discharges. The last liquid to seep is blood. Goliath lands, clicking away in happiness, while Auroros is barking in pain from his bleeding, discolored chest. So, to follow up, Goliath takes a solid boulder from the underground in his mandibles and tosses the large object straight at Auroros...

Acting as quickly as his crippled body can, Auroros attempts to rise to his feet and avoid the tossed object... but it is too much for him. The heavy stone collides with his broken and battered form, hitting him full force in his scarred chest. Auroros cries out in pain, anger soon filling his blind eyes. For the first time in centuries, Auroros felt enraged! With a cry, the winged beast took to the skies, beating his wings, before he sent a flurry of crescent like claw strikes towards his foe. The fiery weapons raked against his foe's shell, doing little....
But then, Auroros passed overhead like an airplane, glancing down at his foe... no, his PREY. Auroros passed overhead, his wingdrafts buffeting his ground foe, before he made a second pass. This time, however, he was not so passive. A brilliant beam of light descended down onto the giant beetle, once more engulfiing him a fierce conflagration. As the bug burned, attempting to dispel his fiery aura of death, Auroros sent down a sphere of light, the orb soon colliding with the bug's face.
Auroros used his senses to observe this barbaric creature as it flailed about in misery. Such a disgusting creature. How... how mindless and bloodthirsty it was! How could such a wretched beast exist?! It disgusted him. Yet... at the same time.... he understood why it was so. It was but a wild beast; it had no sapience. It had no understanding of kindness or morals. it is an animal; it serves its instincts and its own needs. But, Auroros needed to finish this fight. With another cry, he soon spat out another light ray towards his foe...

I'm really enjoying this match, and enjoying using my very first kaiju for the first time in 4 years. Thank you, danny boy ^_^
-----------------------
Goliath lets his shell absorb the attack and save him from harm, but to his dismay, the shell has taken too many blasts of searing light. A small crack forms from where the orb struck, and that may not seem like much, just a single small crack, but for the shell to even crack is an amazing thing. Auroros' deity-like authority, being a supernatural Guardian, has made it possible; his wielding of light. Goliath cries a shriek-like hiss while his large mandibles separate and close repeatedly. Auroros grins.
Goliath looks up at his quarry with the utmost distaste for the winged avian. Goliath takes up another slab of stone, this one closely spherical and about 50 meters in circumference; he lifts it up while his wings are in the open and flap in a blur in periodical bursts, before entering a constant beat to take the organic monolith to the air. Goliath closes in on Auroros with head raised, and once close enough, slams his head down and smashing the boulder into Auroros' face with enough force that the dense apparatus breaks open. Auroros is disoriented and hits the ground, pebbles and sand partially covering the face of the great Guardian of Eternity. His whole complexion puffs out from swelling, the entire face both sore and sensitive. He gets to his feet, but staggers from disrupted equilibrium while harassed by a pounding, monstrous (hehe, pun, hehe) headache. Auroros is being worn out by the constant physical endeavors, and it's starting to become hard to ignore.
His quadruped opponent brings him back down, back-first against the ground, but without harm. The harm comes with Goliath sinking his razor sharp claws into Auroros' cheeks, impaled through the skin and coming out from inside the mouth. Next, Goliath gives a quick yank, tearing his edges through the flesh- all the way through, giving Eternity's Bodyguard a "Glasgow Smile". Quickly after, Goliath jumps to bare his weight down on Auroros' disfigured chest; the act is not an attack, just something meant to make Auroros do exactly what he does- roar in pain, and the sensation is boosted because in his sudden roar, Auroros' mouth opens wider than it should because of the carvings. Goliath then shoves his two-pronged horn into Auroros' left shoulder, pushing the impaled edges deeper inside and moving the horn in different [short] directions to move the penetrated parts around inside, drawing more blood to pool outside the injury. Auroros purposely avoids roaring, but snarls in place of one.
Goliath pulls his horn loose from the shoulder, blood dripping from the coated tip and splashing against the grass. Now Goliath grabs hold of the avian's tail, brings him into the air, and slams him downwards towards the ground...

The impact rattled Auroros' frame, the whole bird's body aching from the powerful slam against the earth. The winged beast of the heavens cawed aloud in frustration and pain ,before he fired a beam of light right towards the massive insect monolith's face. The blinding ray sliced into the arthropod's visage, the insect's face soon bursting into flame. Goliath cried out in pain, soon relinquishing his grip on Auroros' tail.
The battered bird soon stumbled onto his feet, flapping his wings achily. His whole body was in pain... it was almost as bad as he felt after battling that brute Hyperion. But the sky king had to press on- to show weakness this late would lead to defeat. With a beat of his wings, Auroros took off from the ground, using his senses to locate his opponent as the insect extinguished the flames on his visage. Auroros cried out into the skies, as he dove down.
Goliath had little tiem to react, for just as his gaze shifted up to Auroros, the bird was upon him. Razor sharp talons slashed across his face, spilling blood all over, before hte bird flew up and began his assault anew, attacking his prey like a guerilla tactician. Goliath snapped his pincers at the smaller, faster creature, but Auroros was too fast. The bird would swiftly move as soon as he sensed movement, before he would swiftly move in once more to attack. Goliath's arthropod face was soon clawed to the point that his shell had been clawed open quite a bit. In his rage, Goliath snapped once more with his pincers.
Bad move.
Auroros simply flew up, before he perched on top of the insect's overhead horn, out of reach of the insect's deadly weapons. Goliath let out a cry, wings humming as he began to shake, attempting to dislodge the bird. But Auroros held strong. The winged beast blasted Goliath's massive, clear wings with a beam of light, settign them aflame, before he unleashed a blast of light from every inch of his body, intent on torching this insect...

Goliath's tail curls up into action and sprays corrosive bile onto Auroros' form. Most of it is vaporized by the light, but just in case, Auroros retreats off of Goliath, but the wild insect still suffers from some burns courtesy of the pulse of blinding light. Goliath rubs his pained face, his claws inevitably scraping off patches of painful burnt coating. His head and thorax receive damage from the attack; that is it, thanks to Goliath's quick reaction and spooking Auroros. To note, Goliath's wings are in bad shape. He should still be able to fly, but...only selectively.
Goliath sprays his naturally-produced acid a second time, this one draping Auroros' face and chest. The already-disfigured chest continues to bubble and warp further, feathers completely liquified and bonded together. The face painfully boils and the area around the eyes liquifies, soon cooling to a solid, making Auroros' sight a little hindered. The chest is in so much pain from repeated exposure to Goliath's deadly bile. With his sight inhibited, Auroros is forced to land, but Goliath has planned this. As soon as his quarry grounds, the organic monolith scurries forward to shut his pincers around Auroros' chest from behind. The durable armaments do what they do best- they crush. Auroros grunts, holding back a scream, but inevitably succumbs to it and cries out in pain. Creaking sounds from his ribs, the site of compression; the sharp edges of the pincers pierce through flesh and force out leaks of blood. Auroros is growling with a mix of distaste, fury, and pain.
Suddenly, underground turrets lift from hidden ports as well as one loudspeaker.
"Combatant Goliath, release your hold on Combatant Auroros or else you'll break his ribs; under UCA rules and guidelines, that would be fatal to Combatant Auroros, and we do not allow fatal attacks like that. This is your only warning; break off from your attack, now."
The voice is translated into clicks that Goliath can understand, and he releases his foe, but not before he plants his hooked claws deep into the top of The Guardian of Eternity's back. A tearing sound tones as the surgical claws rip through Auroros' back, carving deeply in Auroros' back. As soon as the flesh separates, crimson drips soak outside the burning abuse and course down the white mane covering the Guardian's back. Now, with hooks still inside Auroros' back and squeezing to distract him from the hurt, Goliath curls his tail once more and sprays the corrosive liquids aimed for the open wounds to the back...
