i really like the idea of a "demonstration/demonstration fight" section of the RPG.

also a good way for users to read and get an idea of eachother's skill level, see what to expect and what they're up against if they're planning to challenge a certain player or have been challenged by 'im (or 'er)

I really think that if we have a demonstration thread, then we could really tell how powerful each monster is. Unfourtunatly, I don't think the same could be said for the monsters of people who don't come here anymore...

You know what I just noticed? A lot of the monsters here seem to be uber heisei range in power level. It makes me tempted to make a T&C showa style monster, but the only problem is that I would probably get owned.

Ooh, a visual of what the all the different areas look like would be cool, particularly the Hub. It WOULD be cool to see how the arenas look for the most part.... Keep in mind they'd pretty much just be images I've found on Google that match what I have in mind for the areas. Exceptions would be the Hub and Colosseum, of course. For those I'd probably have to do something in MS Paint, or maybe even hand-draw some stuff. Anyway, since there's some demand for it, I'll get to work. You know what I just noticed? A lot of the monsters here seem to be uber heisei range in power level. It makes me tempted to make a T&C showa style monster, but the only problem is that I would probably get owned. Well it's only natural for people to want their monsters to be strong. Also remember that, generally speaking, the monsters that people post here are going to be the main ones from their fiction, and as such will generally be the strongest ones they have. Most people have pretty extensive rosters (I have nearly 40 in the Infernoverse alone, from which I only posted 4 here [NSG isn't part of that - he's a much older creation that I hadn't used in years and felt like reviving for this]) with monsters of varying strengths. With so many to choose from and the 5-monster limit here, you wouldn't really want to post some random low-level weakling, y'know? Why post your Baragon when you can post your King Ghidorah? Not saying you can't or shouldn't do that, but I'm pretty sure that's the thinking most people have. And skill can most often overcome (or at least compensate for) any disadvantages your monster may have in these fights. That's the beauty of this style of RPing.

Quick question. How come superex was banned?

IR banned him because it took 2 full pages just for him to grasp how to properly RP under this site's rules and guidelines. took him 4 warnings just to edit all the posts that needed editing (adding in his enemy damaging his kaiju as the rules state).
