Name: Red Arrow
Alias: ZARO-924-FF (It's true name)
Height: 100 meters
Length: Seeing as he has no tail, however wide his butt is, I guess.
Mass: 75 000 tons
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral for the pilot, just plain old neutral for the Red arrow mech itself.
History: Robert Fordson, the greatest big game hunter on earth. Killer of Lions, Slayer of tigers, Hunter of Elephants, Master over the Rhino. You name it, he's killed it. At least the ones worth killing anyway. What's shooting a gopher compared to having polar bear roaring in your face... right before you pull the trigger? Robert is easily the most skilled hunter ever known on earth, but... not all his hunts are legal. In case you haven't noticed, aren't Tigers endangered species, Mr. Fordson?
One fateful day he was finally caught, hunting a great White Shark with a harpoon in chum filled water... without a shark cage. Which is apparently illegal because he was on his way to court, in the backseat of a car. Perhaps if he hadn't been distracting the drivers by ranting about them ruining his hunt with nature's deadliest predator, they would have noticed the inter-dimensional portal opening right in front of them.
Well, they didn't notice, and off the car when through another dimension, where it hit a metal wall and crashed at high speed, killing all but Fordson.
The portal closed soon after, but lucky for Robert, this dimension was populated by a very advanced alien race. The aliens resembled Oni’s of Japanese folklore. Indeed, this wasn’t the first time an inter-dimensional gate had opened between their worlds; indeed, a few of their race had traveled through one a long time ago and ended up in ancient Japan. They were advanced enough to create another inter-dimensional gate to return Robert Fordson home. Unfortunately, they screwed up in their calculations. But hey, super advanced aliens make mistakes too.
Before Robert could go out the dimensional gate, something came in. Something very, very big. A kaiju.
It was chaos as the aliens used their advanced technology to fight back the kaiju, but the monster proved nearly unstoppable. Acting quickly, Robert snuck into the military district in search of something that could stop the rampaging monster. All he could find was a funky, metallic bracelet. He decided that it could be some sort of weapon, a missile launcher of some kind. With the kaiju approaching, it was certainly better than nothing. Robert threw on the bracelet... and the thing proceeded to hardwire itself into his nervous system.
Robert had snagged the prototype of a new super weapon designed by the aliens: The ZARO-924-FF. When the device finished it's job, Robert found out that he could cause the bracelet to transform around his entire body, forming a spherical pod. Armor continued to surround the pod as Robert’s nervous system was hardwired into the robot that was beginning to form. Soon, what was once a metallic bracelet, was now a 100 meter tall mech, humanoid-like in appearance. The mech was controlled by Robert's nervous system. He didn't control the robot. He was the robot.
With Robert's real body safely stowed away in a near unbreakable pod inside the brain, the ZARO-924-FF was ready for combat. He defeated the kaiju in an intense battle, one which sent him hurtling away into the dimension from which the kaiju came.
It was fine for Robert. Reverting the mech back into bracelet form, Robert realized that he couldn't remove it, because the weapon was still attached to his nervous system. He was the mech. But he soon came to appreciate this when he learned that this dimension had more than one kaiju.
Robert started a new life, once again as a hunter out for the most dangerous game around. Only this time, lions and tigers and bears were little more than ants compared to the beasts Robert was being paid (in large sums of money) to hunt. He became the first, and so far only successful "big" game hunter.
Still in contact with the aliens (no thanks to the bracelet) Robert was given a service bot SSA-115-P, simply named Joe by Robert. Joe's job was to repair Robert's mech when damaged. The arrows and robotic drones that the mech used was manufactured by the aliens in their home dimension, creating a never-ending supply of ammo.
That was how Robert Fordson became a kaiju hunter, using a robotic suit he nicknamed: Red Arrow. When the UCA approached him, he came quite willingly. No damn governments trying to imprison him for (accidental) collateral damage, endangering of civilian lives, resisting arrest, ect. Not to mention all the kaiju he can hunt, although the fact he can’t kill them is a slight setback. Overall, Robert considers this to be a fair trade for what he believes to be quite the opportunity. And it pays well.
Description: The Red Arrow mech resembles the alien race that created him in appearance, only robotic. When it grows, Rob’s body is stored inside a nearly unbreakable pod in the mech’s “brain”.
(Thanks to Hayes for the drawing.)
Personality: Being a mech, Red Arrow has no personality. Robert, however, does.
For starters, the man is a well-established kaiju hunter. However, by no means does he show any respect to them. He doesn’t believe that a kaiju can possess a high intelligence, merely disregarding them as big, dumb brutes. He doesn’t believe that a kaiju can be good either. To him, a kaiju, any kaiju, know nothing but violence and aggression. He believes in total human superiority, although alien races may provide the exception. His sense of fear and risk has been dulled drastically over the years of kaiju hunting. The man could walk up to the likes of Ketos or Thresher and try his best to stab their foot with a knife while yelling out insults without even a change in heartbeat. Not that he would do that. He’s smart enough to know when to back down, and is actually quite the strategist when in combat in the Red Arrow. His favorite method of hunting is long range, but isn’t above grappling in short range combat when required.
Attacks:
Bow: Red Arrow’s most used weapon is a bow that is able to split apart at the handle to form two swords, thanks to the bladed edges of the bow. The blades are sharp, as sharp as Talizan’s extendable claws. The bow is also capable of shooting arrows, which are teleported into the energized drawstring whenever it is pulled back. When not in use, it uses magnetic energy to latch on safely to Red Arrow’s jetpack, as shown in the picture. There are eight different arrow types available.
Shoulder Cannons: If, for any reason, his bow is not available, or if he has a need to pull of a quick attack, Red Arrow can fire off his shoulder guns. They fire plasma energy at a rapid pace, and have the power or Moguera Heisei’s eye lasers. The two guns can be fired one at a time, or both at once.
Retractable Claws: A simple weapon, Red arrow has sharp, retractable claws on his left hand.
Mace Gauntlet: On Red Arrow’s right arm is a heavy, spiked mace gauntlet, able to smash through though armor and bat away opponents twice as heavy as himself. His arm and hand rest underneath, able to pull the drawstring on the bow. He is also able to punch with the spiked tip.
Extendable Limbs: Red Arrow can rapidly launch/extend his limbs, allowing him to punch harder, kick harder, or jump higher into the air. With the mace gauntlet, the extended arm can give the weapon more range and power behind each blow. In the picture, his right arm and leg are in extended mode.
Crystal Blade: The blade on the tip of Red Arrow’s cranial tentacle/hair thing is made of a crystal that does not exist on Earth. It is even sharper than diamond, and not at all brittle. The crystal blade can sliced through even Suzumebachi’s incredible armor! In addition, the crystal can fire a thin, light blue beam from the tip that has freezing properties. It has been calculated at a temperature of -210 degrees Celsius.
Sniper Bots: Just as the arrows are teleported into the bow, so small robots are teleported into the cranial tentacle. As the crystal blade moves down the length of the tentacle, the tip of the tentacle opens up, firing up to three sniper bots at a time into the atmosphere. There, each bot will wait for Red Arrow’s command to fire on a target down below. Because of their small size, each of the three bots only have two rounds, and after two uses, the bots will join the ranks of the builder bots, meaning that Red Arrow must fire another batch into the atmosphere if he wants to use them again. Each round has the power of a small version of the armor piercing arrows.
IT’S A TRAP! : Fired out of the same opening, Builder Bots are programed to build traps while Red Arrow keeps the kaiju busy. These traps are made out of whatever happens to be at hand, as well as the Builder Bots’ own supplies, and can be extremely dangerous to the opponent. Because the traps are so deadly, and because they take a while to create, they are a limited attack, with two uses per match.
Powers:
Jets: Red Arrow can fly at Mach 4 using a small jetpack for thrust, as well as jets on his feet for additional control.
Camouflage Mirror: Red Arrow’s right arm can emit a force field that hides his entire form. The catch is, his armor renders him invisible when behind the barrier. The force field is semi-permeable; objects can pass out through it, but can’t get past it. This allows Red Arrow to fire weapons while hidden and behind cover. The force field also muffles sound, allowing him to move, although he cannot fly without revealing himself. It can also act as a shield, and is capable of deflecting energy weapons back at the source.
Robot Vision: Despite smoke, gas, fog, or whatever obstacle is in Red Arrow’s way, his can still see opponents hiding behind the cover. He can even find invisible opponents by using special sensors that detect movement.
Builder Bots: From the tentacle tip, Red Arrow can release builder bots that allow him to build traps.
Agility: Red Arrow is very agile, able to jump great heights, flip, dodge, roll, dive, etc.
Armor: Red Arrow’s armor is tough, but not as tough as most mechs. It resists acid and electricity very well though. Also, being a machine, he is immune to poison, venom, and bacteria.
Fugitive: Because Robert is kind of a wanted man, Red Arrow comes outfitted with EMP protection, and is all but impossible to damage with viruses, although the latter is because it’s connected to Robert’s nervous system rather than by a computer that can be hacked. Robert is the computer.
Weakness:
Living Host: Robert can be susceptible to mind attacks.

- Tracker Arrows: The tracker arrow is well suited for fast moving, evasive kaiju, able to follow its target wherever it goes at speeds of Mach 4, using rockets attached to the end of the arrow. It can also be used to pull off difficult shots.
- Burst Arrows: Ideal for multiple targets, the burst arrow literally bursts in mid air, raining down several dozen smaller arrows down on quarry below.
- Razor Arrows: With their huge, blade-like tip, the razor arrow is able to create nasty slashes and deep cuts in kaiju flesh. The width of the arrow tip is around the size of Godzilla’s palm.
- Blast Arrows: Similar to the hook claws of Zone Fighter Gigan, the arrowhead penetrates the body and then explodes violently, with the force of a MvG Frontier missile.
- Armor Piercing Arrows: Designed to punch through heavy armor, these dense, sharp, rocket propelled arrows are able to puncture all but the toughest of alloys.
- Poison Arrows: As their name suggests, these arrows release a fast acting poison into the target’s bloodstream. The poison affects both the nervous system and balance, upsetting coordination for one post, while delivering a stinging pain around the wound that lasts for an hour.
- Electrical Arrows: Created for use against mechanical enemies, the electrical arrow is able to conduct one million volts of electricity into its target. While effective against living targets, this attack is exceptionally deadly to machines and their computer systems.
Shoulder Cannons: If, for any reason, his bow is not available, or if he has a need to pull of a quick attack, Red Arrow can fire off his shoulder guns.
