So ya'll know Taninim, Rosie, Thresher, and Darklore here. But did you actually see the universe they come from? Here's the timeline with links to monster bios and stories!
Before the A.K.D.F, the world was plagued by monsters (later dubbed "kaiju"); these kaiju rampaged freely from the 1950's to the 1980's with no fear of mankind. It all started in 1952 when a monster, spawned by nuclear testing, attacked Japan. Unlike modern monsters, the creature was defeated, but it was only one of a dozen others of various origin and designs. Some would attack Japan, others Europe, America, and even Australia. It was the dawn of a new age for mankind, but in 1983, the final attack hit Tokyo. The beast was defeated and killed, and peace spread wide.
The next two decades passed with no new monster attack. They became lost in legends and myths as new threats, such as terrorism, diseases, and economy, took their place. However, this monster-less chunk of history was merely the calm before the storm. 2012 has long since been sighted to be the beginning of the end. And it almost was. The events of December of 2011 have now come to be known as the Days of Reckoning.
The Timeline Begins…
December, 2011: The Days of Reckoning
- The kaiju return. An Ion Bomb, a new type of military weapon, spawns the creature that’d be called Taninim and awakens the ancient bio-engendered Thresher. Both monsters are beyond that of any kaiju from the previous years and the battle between them both, waged in Tokyo, leaves the city nearly destroyed. Mankind survived, however, thanks to Taninim. The Day of Reckoning passed on January 1st, 2012. A whole new era, filled with all new monsters and threats, had just begun.
-- MM-C 1 & MM-C 2
- Several nations still don’t trust Taninim, with Dr. Miles Himes leading the research on him. The beast takes a home in the Ogasawara Trench.
January, 2012 - Year 1
- With Thresher and Taninim’s battle, it marks year one of the 2nd age of Kaiju.
March, 2012
- The giant arachnid Manticore is discovered in the Middle East. It begins a reign of terror that eventually leads to toxic chemicals being dumped on it from the sky. The beast vanishes beneath the ground.
- Dr. Rudolph Ackert successfully blends the cells of a gorilla and a dog together using sophisticated Nanobot Technology. His creation angers the general population who says he’s breaking the laws of God and then some. His lab is destroyed in a fire and his creation shot in the head.
- Dr. Miles Himes makes contact with Taninim. The creature responds to light and has shown to be most friendly with humans. Its intelligence can even be compared to that of a man’s!
April, 2012
- Manticore resurfaces from the ground in Hong Kong! General Gregory Kurich, a veteran in anti-kaiju warfare, leads the attack against it, but conventional firepower again bounce off of its tough exoskeleton and it has grown immune to the toxins used against it! They manage to lure it away from the heart of the city, but can’t hold it for more than a few days. The Chinese allow Dr. Himes to bring Taninim to the country so it could fight. In the battle, Manticore tries to flee and ends up destroying the top half of a building. While the insect escapes, Taninim rushes to the falling skyscraper and braces it with his back, keeping it standing for hours until all the people inside are safe. Taninim’s act of bravery makes him a worldwide hero and he becomes the key participant in this brewing war on monsters.
-- MM-C 3
- Manticore continues to fly around the globe, but careful to avoid areas of light. It’s believed he thinks the bright lights are Taninim’s lure.
- Talks begin of sightings of the Loch Ness Monster in broad daylight begin to emerge. New footage, conclusive proof of its existence, break world news showing the monster to be a massive kaiju. Further investigation shows that there is a very large, but hidden, cave system that links the loch to the ocean. Following it, they find that there’s another creature of its same type, but its colors and profile link it more to the Lake Champlain monster. The two are thusly named Nessie and Champ. The two are left alone.
July, 2012
- Months go by without issues until Champ and Nessie begin attacking ships at sea! All ships are rerouted and a deep-sea sub, armed with high frequency cannons, reveals that another monster is the cause of their attacks: Dunkleoder. Taninim is lured into the area and has to contend with the huge eel-dunkleosteus hybrid and both plesiosaurs. He eventually uses his Ion Flash to stun all three. Dunkleoder sinks and isn’t heard from for a long, long time. Nessie and Champ live in peace.
-- MM-C 4
- All this recent monster activity begins to make governments talk about anti-monster forces that were being discussed in the 1950’s through the 1980’s when monster attacks were happening, seemingly, every other day. The Hessian project is dusted off. Funding and planning begins.
August, 2012
- Leaky drums of radioactive waste at the bottom of the sea mutate a crab. King Claw is born and begins feeding on tourists at night. The mayor, who doesn’t want the negative publicity, attempts to cover it up saying a shark found its way to his beaches. His lies prevent any real mobilization from being started and soon King Claw bursts from the water one calm day. Like Manticore, his shell deflected all conventional rounds. When General Kurich arrived, he managed to get the crustacean to follow him and eventually lured it into a trap using powerful steam blasters. Knocked unconscious, King Claw is quickly airlifted to Ogasawara Trench where he and Taninim make a sort of friendship bond. King Claw even loses his taste of humans.
-- MM-C 5
September, 2012
- King Claw’s attack makes the last straw and an international defense team is assembled. The Anti-Kaiju Defense Forces are thusly born. Headed by General Gregory Kurich and Dr. Miles Himes, they are aided by funding from all countries wished to be protected (which is virtually everyone) and knows no boundaries. If human lives are at stake, their power overrides all other unless said country wishes to lose its coverage.
- Corona Eclipse Enterprises, a weapons manufacturer, is given the Hessian Project. Several other Anti-Kaiju weapons start being planned including Centaur Tanks, Electrical Beam Cannons, and Neutron Technology. The biggest gun in all the world also begins construction: The Long-Range Anti-Kaiju Sniper Rifle that would become known as “Sally.”
October, 2012 - The A.K.D.F Era
- The A.K.D.F is formed under the lead of kaiju fighting veteran General Gregory Kurich and brilliant Dr. Miles Himes. Corona Eclipse Enterprises supplies virtually all weapons to the forces who then distribute them to various countries. An agreement is made with all world leaders that if the Centaur Tanks, the strongest form of tank ever made, is used in war against humans, they will lose all coverage by the A.K.D.F.
- Dr. Rudolph Ackert sets up a lab in South America and begins working on a trio of monsters: the 30-meter worm Mucus, the 40-meter badger Slag, and the 100-meter lizard Razor. Using natives as food sources for his creatures, Rudolph hopes his creations will get him into the Anti-Kaiju Defense Forces where he will have all the funding and support needed to further his technology. Razor becomes more aggressive do to the Komodo Dragon cells used and he breaks out and kills both Mucus and Slag. Before the monster can get far, Ackert calls his old friend, Dr. Miles Himes, and tells him of the situation, but doesn’t tell him about the use of humans. Within a day, Himes manages to round up a small force, with the help of General Kurich, and heads down there. The monster is, at first, subdued with electric nets, but the electricity soon has no effect on it: the creature has enhanced adaptation skills, allowing it to self-evolve. Razor is then met with a slew of firepower and sent burrowing into the soft soil. It hasn’t become very active since, and some forces were stationed around the area to keep it that way. Dr. Ackert’s creations, however, got him access inside the growing A.K.D.F.
-- MM-C 6
- The forces begin recruiting some of the best soldiers from around the world, including ace pilot and special agent Zachary Styles and the best sniper in the world Alan “Tex” Saw. Styles quickly goes into training to be the pilot of the Hessian when it is completed. Dr. Ackert begins a series of tests to generate bio-weapons. Three projects are planned.
November, 2012
- Acidic monster Glorve is accidentally set loose by a group of animal activists. It begins feeding and growing, eventually becoming the size of a kaiju. With normal weaponry failing against it, the Hessian is moved in for its first battle. As the monster covers the robot, Styles activates the machine’s primary weapon: the Neutron Blast. Most of Glorve is completely vaporized and what is left is gathered and sealed away for future research. However, the blast was far too powerful to be used within city limits and did massive amounts of property damage. More funding is given to Dr. Ackert to finish his projects.
-- MM-C 7 & MM-C 8
December, 2012
- An Australian lab secretly creates two monsters out of ancient cells: Gorgs and Ankylotherium. Gorgs destroys the lab and makes it to Sydney where it is attacked by Ankylotherium. Both monsters are taken to a more secure location, an African reserve, where all humans and endangered species have been moved out. This marks the first of monsters to be contained in the newly created Kaiju Reservation.
-- MM-C 9 & MM-C 10
January, 2013: Year 2
- A meteor falls in central Mexico and mutates all varieties of life, including gnats. The gnats become The Gnattras, ferocious 10-meter creatures with a 30-meter queen. They plunder the land until the Hessian arrives and unleashes its Neutron Blast, vaporizing most of the swarm. What is left is captured and taken to the reserve where they build an underground nest. Why they made an underground nest is unknown. They now frequently annoy Gorgs and Ankylotherium like normal gnats do humans.
-- MM-C 11 & MM-C 12
February, 2013
- Dr. Ackert’s first creature is finished, but is less than stellar. It’s a bizarre chimera composed of dozens of animals. It’s dubbed a failure by the man, but he keeps his failure a secret. Before he can exterminate the creature, it grows to a giant size and begins to attack. The monster, dubbed Cell, attacks relentlessly. Rudolph claims the creature isn’t his own and watches on as the Hessian fights, and eventually destroys it. Video footage from within his lab shows him working on Cell. He is forced out of the A.K.D.F and begins his solo-work again. Dr. Himes and the newly arriving Dr. Melissa Silver pick up the other projects: Swamp and Plague.
May, 2013
- Swamp and Plague are finished, but need trained. Sergeant Brock Daxter is brought in to teach them.
June, 2013
- Angered out of being kicked out of the forces, Dr. Ackert declares war. Months pass as he plans his revenge and he meets a man of the name Joseph Jantwan, a 45-year old fighting a deadly form of cancer. Getting an ingenious idea, the mad scientist tricks the human into allowing him to modify his body using nanobots. The result turned the human into a 120-meter walking tumor, the cancer monster Jantwan is born. Jantwan begins to attack Paris.
- Fearing that Plague, being much more hyper than Swamp, would cause too much collateral, Swamp takes on Jantwan alone. The creature manages to ingest some of Jantwan’s blood, or puss rather, and create a poison that will attack the cancer. By touching Swamp, the poison enters Jantwan’s body and kills him.
- Having no idea that Swamp’s enhanced poison-making powers could be used to make forms to counter disease, smaller projects get funded that make Swamp generate toxins meant to kill cancer and other diseases.
August, 2013
- A massive snake, a chimera of sorts, appears in Arizona. For the same reasons as before, Swamp takes it on alone and gets severely wounded by Stryker’s twin venomous bites. Out of action for several days, Swamp eventually builds up an immunity to both Neurotoxic and Hemotoxic venoms. He challenges the snake and manages to strangle it into submission. Unconscious, Stryker is continuously tranquilized and shipped to the reserve. The large supply of Gnattras keep it fed.
- Telescopes around the world and in space spot a large object heading toward Earth. It’s the first outer space monster in over twenty years: Syntrox. The creature lands and effortlessly overpowers Swamp. Plague is finally sent into battle and, along with Swamp, they send Syntrox retreating back into the stars. Footage shows the creature made a home on the moon.
September, 2013
- The US Army tests an Ion Bomb in the Nevada desert. Like the first underwater bomb created Taninim, this second bomb would also create a kaiju, but one much less friendly: Scorpadon! A bipedal scorpion-dinosaur monster, the monster begins attacking Las Vegas. Swamp and Plague try and fight it but are defeated. The Hessian comes in but the monster’s beetle-like wings rub together and make a high frequency buzz that short circuits several of its systems. Before it flies away, Plague manages to bite it in the foot, injecting his plague. After Scorpadon attacks an evacuated Seattle, the monster falls into the ocean, unconscious and nearly dead. The creature is carted to the African Reserve where it makes a recovery due to its regenerative powers. He and Gorgs constantly battle over kingship of the reserve. Scorpadon usually wins.
- Other monsters that are roaming free around the world, such as Manticore and Razor, are captured and moved to the reserve. A division of the forces begin working on alternative food supplies for the kaiju. The largest are Big Fatters, virtually earth worms that range in size from 30 to 60 meters.
November, 2013
- The creation of man-made monsters, Plague, Swamp, and the food supply creatures start a new form of animal rights activists: K.H.R.T, or Kaiju Have Rights Too! They begin protests outside several bases. This prompts Dr. Rudolph into using them and joins them, while at the same time, working on his next creation: Skullizar.
- Using a dead body of a monster discovered in the Atlantic, he revives the monster using nanobots. The zombie heads to land to feed and he tricks the foolish people into believing Dr. Himes is responsible for the abomination. The creature is destroyed by Taninim, whom was not far by, but the damage done to their name by Ackert still haunts the A.K.D.F. Several groups now believe that the A.K.D.F was responsible for many “unknown” monsters like Stryker and Manticore.
December, 2013
- Opteryx, a gigantic bird, is discovered in the tropics. It was attacking human settlements and, after being hit by missiles, destroyed two A.K.D.F battleships with its heat ray. The monster was discovered to be heading toward Jamaica and traps were buried in the sand. When the beast landed, the bear trap-like weapons snagged its feet and Swamp and Plague stormed it. In a frightened fit, Opteryx used its Energy Storm to give it enough time to escape. The chains holding the clamps on its feet snapped, and soon the creature was on the hunt again. After the bird spotted several traps and refused to land, the A.K.D.F had to bring out its Anti-Kaiju Sniper Rifle and hit the creature from over 30 miles. The bird fell to the Earth mortally wounded. As Swamp and Plague tried to approach it again, Opteryx lashed out, refusing to let them get near. Knowing nothing could be done, the A.K.D.F put Opteryx out for good and hit it again, this time killing it.
- Strange alien monster Blagn-Blagn is discovered and wakes up in the Arctic. It’s under the control of an alien force and begins making its way to populated areas. Its ice powers nearly kill Swamp and Plague. The Hessian is even damaged and Taninim also wounded, but a plan to free it from alien control was getting underway. The Hessian blasted it into water where large batteries began pumping electricity into the water, successfully frying the control device inside its skull. Blagn-Blagn, free of control, is escorted back to the Arctic via helicopters. Satellites show that he and Taninim, for some reason, has become a sort of friends.
January, 2014: Year 3
February, 2014
- Big Cattie emerges in the Amazon River, awoken by nuclear waste. Without a steady food supply, it begins feeding on humans until the A.K.D.F arrive. Swamp and Plague, equipped with massive cattle prod-like weapons, force the fish into a large lagoon that is monthly stocked with fish. She remains there, but under tight surveillance, because she wouldn’t survive in the African environment.
March, 2014
- While experimenting with Swamp’s ability to creature anti-virus chemicals, Ebolco is accidentally created. A 500-meter long, flying Ebola virus that can turn humans and kaiju into more of itself, the monster could be the greatest threat yet. It infects Swamp and Plague and not even Swamp’s powers could counter it. The creature is eventually vaporized by the Hessian’s Neutron Blast, but the two monsters are in dire need of help. As their flesh begin to melt away, the forces look to Razor for help. The lizard’s adaptation skills, mapped out in his cells, give them a way to counter the spreading virus inside their body. The two recover with Razor never having a clue that he had saved them.
- In the old days, kaiju attacks left cities destroyed. In the modern age, they still do. Normally buildings being destroyed only come to one’s mind during an attack, but monsters often rip through sewers and flood streets with nasty, bacteria-filled waters that can be as toxic as any poison. In order to deal with this, research began to quickly clean-up sewer spills after a kaiju attack. It took decades, but in 2010, two years before the Days of Reckoning, the bacterium was released in Chicago. Now, mere weeks before it’d be given to other cities to prevent this type of dirty carnage, a new life gave rise. The bacteria evolved in the uncontrolled environment and overtime it stopped destroying the sewage, but bonded with it, making it into a body! Diarregex was thus born. The shit demon was attacked, but nothing fazed it until a massive bomb of over 1000-lbs of high explosive detonated right in front of it. The blast splattered its body like mud, allowing the cleanup crews to come in and destroy the infected fecal matter. A ban on Fecal-Devouring Bacteria was put into effect.
July, 2014 - The Klenthurian Wars Begin
- A new force from beyond the stars, a race of reptiles, the Klenthurians make contact with Dr. Ackert offering a once in a lifetime opportunity…
- Dr. Ackert joins the Klenthurians, lead by the wicked Saberon Tchove. The human informs them of several monsters and begins work on a kaiju for the reptiles: Rosie. Time goes by and soon the evil shark kaiju Thresher aligns himself with the aliens and gets cybernetic enhancements. Thresher becomes Cyber-Thresher and trains his new powers with Rosie.
- The kaiju front is eerily silent. Some believe the second age of kaiju is coming to an end.
- On his spare time, Rudolph begins to work on another creature. The failure of Cell still eats away at him and he gets help from the workers to create the ultimate chimera. The small creature remains a pup for some time. After seeing what Saberon wishes to do with the humans, Commander Garan switches sides and gets in a fight with Saberon. As the two fight, Garan is drenched with chemicals that soon catches fire. The lab ignites and before the fire can be put out, the flames merge with one of Rudolph’s mutagens. Garan’s body becomes fire red and he adopts the name of “Solaron.” After blasting both Saberon and Gatoro back with a wave of fire, Solaron saves the baby Thunder from the lab and manages to escape. Saberon and his crew allow him to escape saying “If he wants to live with humans, he can die with the humans.”
- Solaron makes it to the A.K.D.F.
August, 2014
- The war between mankind and Klenthurian begins as Saberon cuts into all radio and TV broadcasts, revealing his kind and intentions to the world.
Rosie and Cyber-Thresher are unleashed on the Kaiju Reservation in Africa to assure no kaiju can stand up to their might. Klenthurian forces attack various cities at the same time. Days later, Rosie battled Taninim and Blagn-Blagn in New York City, defeating them both. The monster then ventured to Washington D.C while Cyber-Thresher battled Thunder in Tokyo. The two alien monsters are defeated by the Earth forces, but the final battle had yet to come.
September, 2014
- Blaradon, which was damaged in a battle long ago, is fully repaired and fixed within a month, but Thunder has also grown to a gigantic size and being quickly trained to battle and use his electrical powers. The final battle rages at the A.K.D.F base as the Klenthurians unleash Blaradon! It’s Taninim, Thunder, Hessian, Swamp, Plague, and Scorpadon who fight the machine. As the others fight it, Thunder suddenly takes to the sky, side-by-side with Scorpadon! The two kaiju attack and deal massive amounts of damage to the huge Klenthurian mother ship, eventually bringing it down and crashing it on the moon.
- Mankind defeated the Klenthurian invaders with the aid of kaiju.
- Survivors of the Klenthurian forces, including Saberon, flee to the Antarctic and create their own small base of operations: the Antarctic Lair. The A.K.D.F and humanity keep a VERY watchful eye.
October, 2014: Genesis
- Reconstruction in Washington, New York, and Tokyo begin.
- The A.K.D.F funds a new project that would give Africa back the land that is being used as the Kaiju Reservation. The idea is Genesis Island, an island over 100-miles long and 25 miles at its widest. This island would also have smaller islands of various size surrounding it, allowing territorial kaiju to set up boundaries. In theory, this island could contain over 45 kaiju without having that much of a containment issue. Using a group of islands in the Pacific that had been stripped clean by all sorts of resource gathers from mining to oiling in the mid-1900’s, the A.K.D.F slowly recovered the island.
December, 2014
- As the so-called Genesis Island is being completed, Jonathan Henz, a survivor of the Champ and Nessie attacks of previous years, finished his own funding for his revenge. Using his company’s (Henz, Inc.) technical powers, his team hacked the A.K.D.F database and stole blueprints for a weapon known as Heavyclaws, a scrapped mecha unit based on King Claw. Piloting the machine himself, Jonathan attacked the undersea canyon that housed both plesiosaurs and began to kill off the entire species with his advanced weaponry. The A.K.D.F was quick to take action and, with the help of Taninim, managed to engage the underwater battle unit. With his Ion Flash, Taninim short circuited Heavyclaws, allowing Nessie and Champ to rip the robot apart. As they did so, Jonathan activated the self-destruct mechanism, blowing himself up and nearly killing the three kaiju.
- The battle had taken a large toll on the area and the rest of the smaller plesiosaur-like creatures were killed off. Now the last of their kind, and unconscious, Nessie and Champ were carted off to the recently completed Genesis Island, the first kaiju to the island.
- Less than a year after the Klenthurian invasion, Zorn-To-Ka lands on Earth! The monster isn’t hostile, but more confused at where he’s at. A friendly monster that helped battle Blaradon a while ago in space, Zorn-To-Ka made landfall in Paris. The creature chuckled to itself as it climbed the Eiffel Tower, but many wanted it dead. K.H.R.T begged for it to remain alive, and even Agent Styles had troubles firing away at a monster that did remarkably little damage. Thankfully action by the A.K.D.F’s finest wouldn’t need to happen as Taninim burst from the water and grabbed hold of the alien and used its Ion Flash to stun it. Unconscious, Zorn-To-Ka was carted off to the Kaiju Reservation, the first alien monster to be contained and last of the reservation.
January, 2015: Year 4
- Genesis Island is completed and the kaiju of the reservation are slowly but surely relocated to their new island home. Nations are completely recovered, with Washington, New York, and Tokyo being the only cities still left in ruin, but the road to recovery has been started.
- Also believing that reports of sightings of multi-colored birds in the tropics might be the offspring of Opteryx, A.K.D.F teams are dispatched to try and find any of the creatures. Only feathers are found, but it’s enough evidence to keep the region on guard until they can put an accurate estimate at the numbers and sizes of the birds.
February, 2015
- Strange plant monster Sage arrives in Japan and turns Osaka into forest full of twisted vines and large flowers. When ice bombs are dropped on the central growth, the beast reveals itself as a towering dinosaur-like shaped plant kaiju. When the Hessian joined the battle, Sage fired his Solar Beam, almost destroying Hessian in one powerful attack. This intense beam of heat, however, had also devastated the plant being. As it tried to escape, more ice bombs were dropped on it and Sage was carted off to the Arctic where it would remain frozen.
March, 2015
- Three mutant seagulls, the Killer Gulls are discovered on the Eastern US seaboard. The birds aren’t a threat or a menace yet, but the A.K.D.F still plans to relocate them to Genesis Island.
- The Gray, a gigantic humanoid alien, lands and attacks the Eastern US. It has powerful mind control abilities, allowing it to control the minds of Swamp, Plague, and Hessian’s pilot when they opposed it. The alien is killed off when it approached the area claimed by the Killer Gulls. Unable to keep up with the fast birds, the alien is torn apart and killed. The Killer Gulls are lured to Genesis Island by an armada of shiny ships and planes that kept the creatures at bay with literal garbage blasts that kept the three birds happy as they fed.
- A black hole is discovered just outside our solar system. With more research, it is theorized to be some sort of portal or wormhole. Currently it is not an A.K.D.F concern.
May, 2015
- Things are growing uglier at the Klenthurian Antarctic Lair as resources run dry and morale reaches an all time low.
- Genesis Island is deemed a success. The island’s defenses aren’t flawless, however, and several monsters are able to escape. Dunkleoder is the prime example of this, while containing the Killer Gulls was also a challenge. To help prevent any more future disasters, the A.K.D.F join with various super powers of the world and create the K-Killer, a satellite armed with numerous anti-kaiju weapons.
June, 2015
- Growing more insane after the defeat of the Klenthurians, Dr. Rudolph Ackert makes a daring return to the world and begins to work on Cell 2. The scientist uses a serial killer’s brain to give his creation intelligence. As the Hessian, Swamp, and Plague fight the freak, Solaron tracks Dr. Ackert through the sewers and eventually catches up with the mad man just as the K-Killer, a new powerful anti-kaiju weapon, unleashes its firepower on Cell 2. The second freak is killed before its maker’s very eyes. And, at long last, Rudolph Ackert is apprehended by the A.K.D.F.
- While interrogating the scientist, the Earth discovers the scientist had also created another monster in his absence: Mange. Not knowing what to expect, the A.K.D.F venture to South America where the scientist had been experimenting on an Asian Bengal Tiger stolen from a local zoo. The result was a nasty creature he called Mange.
- While its master had abandoned him, Mange began to lurk in the shadows, feeding on livestock and leaving mummified remains void of blood behind. When the A.K.D.F arrived, Swamp and Plague didn’t know what to really do, the creature wasn’t targeting humans at all. It still had to be apprehended and, after a brief fight in which Plague developed a major case of fleas, the tiger was knocked out and carried off to Genesis Island where its fleas spread to every single monster they could reach. This drove most monsters nuts, but it was something they’d have to get used to.
July, 2015
- Story: Lecrar: The Kaiju Leech
-- A meteorite falls in the Florida Everglades and mutates leeches into lethal killers and makes one gigantic monster: Lecrar! Dr. Himes and Silver lead an expedition that finds the monster and the rest of the crew manage to contain it until Hessian fights and defeats it. Using salt, the forces keep it immobile and cart it off to Genesis Island where it begins a long, grueling property dispute with Big Cattie.
August, 2015
- Deforestation and pollution of America’s great forests spawned a small creature that was discovered by a boy named Troy. Naming the mutated chipmunk Scrambles, For three months the child treated the mutation like a pet until it became a huge threat. It had an insatiable appetite for wood and it was rapidly growing. The A.K.D.F got wind of this and came down and eventually fought it. It took several attempts, but Scrambles was contained and relocated to Genesis where it could feed on all the wood it wanted, thanks to the A.K.D.F winning a lawsuit that made the very company responsible for its creation donate half of their resources to feed it! Troy and his family are granted lifetime passes to visit the monster every Summer.
September, 2015
- Obsidian glass becomes the newest rage in fashion and a jewelry company plans on exploiting a large source of the volcanic glass in Mexico. The source is actually the home of Zega, an ancient obsidian glass kaiju! The battle with Hessian eventually shatters the creature and it is carted off to Genesis, but a legal battle between the jewelry company and the A.K.D.F force the industry to donate large amounts of its mined obsidian glass to Genesis to make a home for it. This was the second battle between the A.K.D.F and a major organization that spawned kaiju.
October, 2015
- A riot breaks outside of the CEE factories when a K.H.R.T movement goes wrong. A fire begins and the oil tanks explode, pumping millions of gallons of experimental oil into the sea. Throughout the month, CEE teamed with the government to contain the spill, but a new threat arose: Slick. After several failed attacks and traps, the monster was eventually contained and moved to Genesis where it could feed from a flowing, but controlled, A.K.D.F spill. Research quickly began on how to lure it to areas so it could feed on future oil spills.
- Story: Rudolph’s Revenge
-- Dr. Rudolph Ackert is broken out of prison by the Cult of Q’thulu. The cult eventually declares war on the A.K.D.F and the United States, taking control of the aquatic Genesis Island kaiju. King Claw is unleashed on Atlantic and Ocean City, Big Cattie on Miami, Nessie and Champ on San Diego, and Lecrar on the Hover Dam. As the A.K.D.F struggle to stop the war, Dr. Ackert creates the devastatingly powerful monster Reef for the cult, and it manages to destroy the Super Transport! Soon the Genesis Island monsters are freed of control and both Taninim and King Claw defeat Reef in Washington DC. The A.K.D.F lead a new battle against the cult on their secret island, eventually luring the huge tentacled alien out where it vanishes into the sky. Dr. Ackert is missing and is presumed dead.
November, 2015
- The Sea Devil, thought to be an ancient predatory fish kaiju, is disturbed by the coral spires created by Reef during the Cult of Q’thulu’s attacks. The monster is first recorded at the end of October, but the search lead into November as the A.K.D.F joined with kaiju-hunting TV show The Hunt. The fish managed to escape both Plague and Swamp, but was eventually met by the Hessian. After its spear failed to hurt the robot, the fish tried to escape, but numerous helicopters appeared overhead, dropping electric nets on the Sea Devil. With help of the TV show and its parent channel, the A.K.D.F managed to keep the monster under control and transported to Genesis Island.
- Story: Paint It Gray
-- After the death of the first Gray alien, the species align themselves with vile alien entity Redavni. The alliance makes them attack Genesis Island, collecting kaiju cells and taking over the minds of Plague, Swamp, and Agent Styles (thus capturing the Hessian as well) after they arrived within the new Super Transport Deluxe. They then attack the Klenthurian Antarctic Lair, but with help of the A.K.D.F’s K-Killer Satellite, the reptiles survive. The invasion heads to Detroit where they slaughter the human populace and erect a living dome around the metropolis. Eventually the Klenthurians and mankind join forces and Rosie and Cyber-Thresher enter the dome, slaughtering the Grays within. Taninim arrives and Redavni turns the last Gray into the Dark Gray. The forces of Earth eventually win and Redavni is sent retreating, and is possibly killed by Thresher and Plague’s diseased bite. The Klenthurians are allowed to erect a new base on a series of tropical islands, but another base is also created at the choice of the A.K.D.F’s location and leader, that leader being Solaron.
December, 2015
- Alien monster Clotarax arrives on Earth and makes quick work of the A.K.D.F forces. Eventually it is realized that only one monsters is able to stop it: Jantwan, but the beast has long been dead. Private First Class Eric Connors, dying of cancer, volunteers to become Jantwan 2 on the single condition he be allowed to live on Genesis Island afterward. Jantwan 2 manages to eat Clotarax, possibly saving the world, and is captured and relocated to Genesis Island.
- Dr. Rudolph Ackert helps in the creation of the monster Arrg. The creature is eventually defeated by the Hessian and its bits frozen by liquid nitrogen. It is hoped that the beast could one day be returned to its normal human form.
- Near the holidays, the monster Girafrica appears in Africa. It is a mutated giraffe, grown to kaiju-proportions after feeding on plants infected with the cells of monsters like Scorpadon and Thunder that once roamed the former Kaiju Reservation. As Plague and Swamp fight it, Henz, Inc. makes a grand return, launching Heavyclaws at the giraffe. Heavyclaws knocked Girafrica out with an unknown chemical compound, allowing it to be transported to Genesis Island.
January 2016 - World War K Begins – Year 5
- Year five of the new age of kaiju
- The mutant boar monster Suicide gives rise in the American south. They managed to subdue it, but upon transporting it to Genesis, the monster wakes up and gets free, leading to a battle between it and the forces in Atlanta. After a long, hard battle, Suicide is recaptured and she, and her younglings, is given a new home on Genesis Island.
- Char’boil, a two-headed mutant turtle, appears in Pennsylvania. It manages to escape the forces when K.H.R.T interferes, but it soon resurfaces near Hershey Park. Before the A.K.D.F can arrive, Heavyclaws, belonging to Henz, appears once more and defeats it, allowing it to be transported to Genesis Island also.
- Henz, Inc. is getting more and more support with the media and public. Relations between it and countries like Cuba, China, Russia, and North Korea are becoming nightmarish for the A.K.D.F, as funding from those countries goes to Henz, instead of them.
- Famous sumo wrestler Senichiro Hanamura witnesses a meteor shower in December, and a month later, begins to complain of pains. It turns out an alien entity had invaded the fat of his body. Once it was cut out, the fat was taken in for study and possible weaponizing, but it escaped, turning into the fattest monster on Earth: Metabolar. The monster had successfully defeated Plague and Swamp, pumping them full of fat, but was brought down by the Hessian. The monster, unable to be killed it seemed, was transported to Genesis Island.
- As Plague and Swamp work to loose the weight given to them by Metabolar, a new bio-weapon project, dubbed Project Bruiser, is debated in the A.K.D.F.
- The Klenthurians finish their new base, the Lizard’s Nest, on a series of islands off the coast of Africa. Another base is erected in what was once Detroit. This new base, dubbed the Klenthurian Bad Lands, is lead by A.K.D.F Klenthurian soldier Solaron.
February, 2016
- Tree monster Lincoln is discovered in Yellowstone National Park. It becomes enraged after an Ion Bomb is accidentally detonated in the park, destroying thousands of trees and animals. Plague and Swamp still aren’t in shape to face it, thus Heavyclaws is summoned to fight it. It was thought the robot had defeated it, but soon the monster resurfaced near the Henz base camp, aiming to kill its controllers and owners. Heavyclaws started a forest fire to stop the creature, but it only deterred it for a few moments. Thankfully, Swamp and Plague were dropped from above. The two still weren’t completely combat ready, but their presence drove Lincoln back. The monster summoned an avalanche that covered the burnt landscape and stood motionless as the A.K.D.F and Henz, Inc. faced off, eventually both sides leaving, but both sides keeping a watchful eye on the gigantic tree monster, unsure of how to handle it.
- Project Bruiser is green lighted, but before both Dr. Miles Himes and Dr. Melissa Silver can start it, Melissa, Alan Saw, and several soldiers and scientists are transferred to the Klenthurian Antarctic Lair to ease the tension between mankind and Klenthurians and also prepare Solaron for his leadership of the third Klenthurian base. Miles creates the puppy Bruiser on his own using the same techniques used to create Plague and Swamp.
- WWK: The Legion’s Return
March, 2016
- From the Ulysses’ hole in space, a beam of light emerges. After several days, it heads toward Earth and eventually takes the form of the monster Partacala. It attacks Berlin before fighting Heavyclaws, forcing Heavyclaws into retreat. It then makes its way toward the Artic to disrupt Earth’s magnetic pole. Taninim and the Hessian square off with it, but are no match. Melissa and Solaron convince Saberon to send Thresher to fight it. The shark manages to drag Partacala into the sea, killing off the energy within its particles and destroying the monster.
- WWK: Project Bruiser
It's huge! Expansive! Tons of kaiju!
Post your thoughts! Opinions!
Hate my kaiju? Love 'em!
Got ideas!? Shoot 'em!
