So yeah, gonna take a cue from MM and ask who everyone thinks I should bring in for my 9th and 10th monsters.
War-hog: Ah, good 'ol War-hog. I love him, but I'm afraid he won't have much "fun factor" here, since he's not really versatile. About all he can do is charge and gore. I'd totally give him the Lance of Hoginus if I brought him here, though.
Myrmek: For those of you that have seen the movie The Bone Snatcher, Myrmek is basically kaiju-ized version of Isikulu. For those of you that haven't, I direct you to its bio on the Monster Archives. Giant ant colony using monster bones to give itself structure. Now, this guy has the potential to be a lot of fun, but I'm hesitant to bring him in because he sort of falls under the "blob monster" category, and those can be very... difficult in an RP setting.
Skolex: Velvet worm monster. Nothing terribly special, aside from the fact that I'm fairly certain he's the only velvet worm monster in existence. He's a pretty nifty critter though, and I've been thinking of giving him a couple extra powers, which I could test out here should I decide to bring him in.
Bruin: Giant effing bear. Suchodon's main rival throughout the course of the Infernoverse story. I've already got the "strong, tanky brawler" monster angle covered with Tortonne, though, so I'm hesitant to bring him in. He also has less options in battle, since he lacks Tortonne's pro-wrestling style.
Didontops (see also DH's pic): A friendly-but-fiesty burrowing monster, I think he has the potential to be fun here. MM actually thought I should bring him in a few months back, when his Scambles and Hayes' Sub-titan were having their match, so that the three of them could form a sort of "Way Cuter Than They Should Be" team. 'Course, with those two being retired now that obviously wouldn't happen.
Thylaking: This guy could be a fairly unique addition to my roster here, with his semi-feline build and fighting style. I think he's the only Thylacoleo monster in existence, too.
Scorpius: Giant emperor scorpion. Nothing particularly unique, but he's one of my oldest creations and I've RPed with him several times in the past, so I know he's fun to use.
Manticore: Not to be confused with MM's solifugid kaiju. My Manticore is based off of a Manticora tiger beetle. He's actually still not quite finished, but he's probably a good 80% done at this point so he's still viable. The name isn't completely set in stone either, simply because I'm not fond of the idea of having a monster with the same name as someone else's, especially when they're both bugs.
Panzer: An Akylosaur with stag beetle horns on his back. He's sort of Sauropede's brother, both in concept (since I came up with the ideas for both at the same time) and in a metaphorical sense in the story (created by the same person, at the same time, by combining DNA from two dinosaurs found at the same location with arthropod DNA). I used him at least once back at my original Arena site, and he was fun.
Babi: Psychotic baboon monster with assorted bone outgrowths to use as weapons. Normally he has super-powerful regeneration, but I think he's got enough going for him to still be neat without it.
Scythrax: Robotic praying mantis covered in blades. He's basically been sitting in the unfinished concept stage for years now, so this would be an excuse for me to actually finish him. I've already got two mechs on my roster here though, so I don't particularly feel the need to bring in a third.
Leoptera: My Mothra, basically. Giant moth with a couple spiffy powers, but I'm not sure they'd be enough to be fun here. I've already got a much more versatile and charismatic flier in Pavoroc anyway.
Ophion: A glass lizard monster and Pavoroc's oft-discussed "brother." He's really cool and would be fun to use, but he'd be REALLY redundant with Pavoroc already here.
So yeah, thoughts? I'm pretty heavily leaning toward Panzer being one of them at this point, but if there's enough interest in someone else I'd likely be swayed.
