Name: Vesica
Height: 60 meters at the shoulders, 100 meters at the head.
Length: 200 meters (stretched out).
Weight: 50 000 tons
Wingspan: 200 meters
Element: The moon and the night.
History:
Vesica is an ancient being, one rumored to be as old as mankind itself. Humans know very little about this bladed dragon. Sightings, as rare as they are, used to be often dismissed as stories, at least up until the late nineteen forties. During this time, a few strange creatures had already made themselves known to the world. (This was when the borders between dimensions began to malfunction.) These creatures were aquatic by nature, and resembled the sea serpents from the stories of fishermen. These serpents were later discovered to be a heavily mutated species of eel. On March 3, 1949, a trio of these eels attacked Sorrento, Italy. It was this night that Vesica made herself known to the world, fighting and killing the three mutated eels.
To this day, only a few real sightings have been made of the dragon since the battle in Sorrento. Little is known about her, making her one of the most obscure kaiju in recent history. It is known that she is mostly sighted at night, and that the dragon seems to posses some sort of unknown power. Vesica has often been associated with night itself, not just because of her nocturnal behavior, but also her wings. The membranes seem to shine with energy, and their glow is similar to the moon. Add a dark, scaly hide that sparkles like a starry sky, and a tail tipped in a crescent shaped blade, and it’s no wonder why such parallels are drawn.
After Vesica’s battle with the mutated eels, the dragon was considered by some to be an ally, but recently, this claim seems inaccurate. The last confirmed encounter of Vesica in 1997 was during a surprising attack on the Lindsey Oil Refinery in England. She destroyed nearly everything around the two kilometer squared area in less than five minutes, and caused the deaths of three hundred and eleven workers. After this disaster, most of the world now considers Vesica a threat, but the dragon has not been seen since.
But what about the things humans do not know about this dragon?
Vesica herself does not know exactly who she is. Her very origin is foggy; her earliest memory is waking up in a cold forest, fully grown, with no idea who she was or how she got there. Her entire life has been one path of self-discovery, learning how to fly, how to vocalize, and how to use her powers. Vesica herself has made the connection between night and herself. Her trademark beam, one that uses cold rather than heat, is a form of lunar energy. Even her wing membranes are made up of lunar energy. Along with lunarkinetic powers, Vesica has also discovered umbrakinetic powers as well. Learning to embrace her powers, Vesica has become primarily nocturnal.
Over hundreds of years, Vesica has observed humans. The few that noticed the shadowy dragon told stories, stories that spread around the globe. Thus, the legend of dragons was born.
As humans became more advanced, Vesica became anxious. Their inventions and greed was beginning to take its toll on the world at large. One night, in a fit of rage, Vesica attacked an oil refinery. Realizing that humans were harmful to the world she loved, she prepared to assault more of the insidious structures, but was stopped the following morning. Seeing the devastation she had brought, the sorrow of families of the dead, the dragon found herself debating what the right action really was. Should she destroy the human race to protect the planet, or avoid committing such a crime and let the humans continue to bring about untold destruction?
It’s a question that she still has yet to answer.

Personality:
Vesica is a quiet kaiju, seeking solitary more often than not. To most, Vesica seems to be in a state of depression. She rarely ever has anything positive to say in a given situation, and seems rather negative about most things. The scary part is that Vesica doesn't really seem all that afraid with the concept of death.
But she isn't suicidal. Despite her seemingly negative outlook on life, Vesica actually believes that life is a sacred, beautiful thing, a gift that should never be thrown away. The world is beautiful, but the reason why Vesica doesn't seem afraid of death is because she knows that nothing will ever last forever. Someday, the world will end. Someday, Vesica will die. It's a fact of life, and Vesica isn't one to ignore it. The Lunar dragon is surprisingly a pacifist, despite a person's common interpretation of night being "evil". She dislikes violence, but she will fight if she has too.
Vesica is one that doesn't let her personal feeling get in the way of what she considers her job, although the after affects may cause her distress, an example being when she destroyed the oil refinery. It is also notable that she has a sense of humor, although is kind of dark humor, often laughing at the misfortune of other people. She is also plenty sarcastic when pressed. In a fighting situation, Vesica is more skilled with her special powers than melee combat.
Attacks:
Tooth&Claw: Vesica is an adept fighter, using her crescent bladed tail and talons to deadly effect. Her blades along her elbow and knees serve as additional weapons for tougher opponents. Her wings are her most dangerous melee weapons, sharp enough to slice through strong armor during flight. In rare cases, Vesica will use her jaws and sharp teeth as weapons as well.
Lunar Beam: In appearance, her trademark weapon looks like a standard heat ray, fired from the mouth. However, this ‘heat’ ray is actually a cold ray. The beam is made up of pure lunar energy, which is the cause for the weapon’s intense, burning cold. This cold is not a natural one, able to damage opponents used to dealing in Arctic conditions. The lunar beam is pearly white in color, tinted with hints of grey.
Spirit Scream: Throughout the ages, people have been afraid of the dark, and things that go ‘bump’ in the night. Vesica can emit a piercing, lunarkinetic scream that invokes intense fear into her targets, paralyzing even the strongest enemies in terror. The scream is often said to strike one’s very soul.
Lunar Hair Blades: The slivery hair that lines Vesica’s back can become charged with lunar energy. When this happens, each and every strand of hair becomes a deadly cutting weapon, the lunar energy around them acting as blades. These blades also deliver the same kind of cold damage as the lunar beam.
Chilling Touch: With her very body running on lunar energies, Vesica can freeze an opponent down the bone through touch alone. (Not literally, of course.) This attack also leaves painful frostbites on contact.
Dark Despair: Vesica’s energized wing membranes become shrouded in dark energy, before flapping, almost as if trying to create hurricane winds. This sends forth clouds of pure darkness, which not only blocks off an opponent’s vision, but also causes damage in the form of intense cold.
Dark Drain: A truly horrific attack, Vesica grabs an opponent and shrouds them in her darkened wings. The wings fire out whips of darkness and lunar energy, draining an opponent’s energy… their very life force, and bloodying up their skin and flesh with nasty cuts.
Dark Blast: As her wings darken, Vesica can fire forth a blast of dark energy from the membranes, resulting in an explosion of dark energy large enough to cover a five hundred meter radius! However, this attack, while powerful, takes time to charge. (Limited to two uses per match)
Umbrakinesis: Vesica can use darkness and shadows as a weapon, weather they may be explosive blasts, blades or spikes, tendrils, or even shields of shadow. Her wings darken when using this power.
Powers:
Queen of the Night: Vesica thrives in darkness. She can become almost invisible in darkness, and can use shadows to teleport to different locations. She can see perfectly even in areas completely devoid of light, and seems to be able to snuff out any light she chooses to. In battle, Vesica can even snuff out sunlight, creating an artificial night to take maximum advantage of her powers.
Cold and Darkness Immunity: Vesica is immune to cold-based attacks or umbrakinetic attacks, the latter only increasing her energy.
Changing Moon: Just as the moon changes in the night sky, Vesica can change her appearance as well. This is part of the reason why Vesica is a rare sighting for humans. Her shape shifting abilities are not used in battle often, as she can only shape shift into something weaker than her normal form.
Lunar Flight:
Using energy waves emitted from the moon, Vesica can ride these waves using her membranes, which are specifically suited for this task.
Weaknesses: None in particular.
