In the dim light of the sunset, the shadows of the incoming night began to move, like hundreds of black snakes. They seemed to concentrate under the tres, their forms taking the shape of a pitch black oval. Out of the portal slithered Daemonouse, the Serpentine Spirit Crusher. He set his infernal eyes on the flying guardian before him, and a cruel smirk made its way, if that is even possible, on his skull-like face. "Grrrreeetinngsssss, hero" he hissed.

The appointed UCA announcer/referee verbally signals to start the match, but neither creature rushes in to fight just yet. Daemonuse remains anchored against the ground, arrogance and sin broadcasting from his person. Tsugashi is hovering at a stand-still with casual wing flaps, positioned about 220 meters above the forest overgrowth. For the first time in centuries, Tsugashi feels sick; outraged that such a vile life-form is allowed to exist among the living. Daemonuse's impurity stains the battlefield. Now more than ever, The Mighty Hurricane has a bias over cleansing this forest of the sinful serpent. The wind around the titanic Philippine Eagle grows strong in correspondence to Tsugashi's passion over defeating this demon. The air shooting downwards uproots a collection of trees. The flux in Tsugashi's emotion will make his aerokinetic attacks that much more effective; destructive...
Daemonuse's words are spoken with a demonic harmony to his voice. The mere sound of it aggravates the hero of the battlefield. Tsugashi launches a strip of concentrated air at the sinner, an action that Daemonuse answers by letting his body drop towards the right. A thud sounds through the forest and trees are crushed; Daemonuse begins slithering in the cover of the brush towards The Mighty Hurricane. Tsugashi watches the trees tremble for a few seconds as Serpentine Spirit Crusher's form passes through in order to pinpoint his enemy; Daemonuse treks through the forest like a snake in the grass. Once confident, Tsugashi mentally lobs a Tempest Orb at Daemonuse's location. The missile hits, and it throws trees far away from their rooted positions, but no trace of Daemonuse! Tsugashi is confused at first, but notices a shadow continue crawling on the ground, and too late- Nosdrah's Lt. emerges from the shadow dimension directly below the avian, leaving a trace of his attack in the form of a soaking cut in Tsugashi's right thigh. As is canon with slashes marked by the demon's razor scythes, Tsugashi cannot kick the cold feeling of his new injury.
Tsugashi enacts his counter-measure named the "Solar Flare," releasing a pulse of bright light. Daemonuse falls to the ground, disoriented by the blinding light, too disoriented to retreat into the shadows. Tsugashi then sends off a crackling surge of heroic electricity just at his crown, striking Daemonuse by the left shoulder and pumping justice through his unholy form. While the underling of Lord Nosdrah experiences a volley of pain, he does not show it; he holds back any growls or other tells. Tsugashi continues the attack for seconds, but decides not to end Daemonuse just yet. There is a bounty of torture to pay back to Daemonuse. Tsugashi sends an aligned focus of supersonic torture towards Daemonuse. The force rocks Serpentine Spirit Crusher's body while chiseling off scales from all around. Acting quick to end Tsugashi's triumph, Daemonuse launches some Living Arrows at the aerial hero. Tsugashi dodges, but it costs him his attack.
Tsugashi is forced to end his attacks, but leaves Daemonuse partially blind and in a deafened state. Soreness fluctuates around his form from the beating he took by Tsugashi's scream-attack, and his left shoulder throbs from the patch of scorched scales, camouflaged by Daemonuse's natural hue. The only evidence that the wound exists are the collections of steam migrating from the oval. The Mighty Hurricane's third attack is a quick one; the avian avenger divebombs his mortal enemy, swooping up at the last minute, but carving out two bloody meat chunks to take along with the razor talons decking Tsugashi's toes. Tsugashi causes an amount of pain that is unacceptable to deal with in just a total of two seconds. Tsugashi drops the scaly meat momentos as he curves around at Mach 3, just passing overhead of the satanic serpent and bringing a sonic boom to knock Daemonuse back...

The sonic boom slams into Daemonouse's back, knocking the demon serpent on the ground. He lets out barely a grunt upon landing, and his hellish red eye never leave the soaring form of the heroic avian. As he straightens himself, he smirks lightly. Let the bird fly, he had better things to do. Like target practicing.
Dae's jaws open, and from it a volley of Living Arrows shoots towards Tsugashi. The mighty hurricane saw the incoming green projectiles, and he flapped his great wings sending a powerful gust of wind to knock the arrows away from him. As the barrage of air hit them, the arrows didn't deviate the slighest bit. The spiritual energy composing them dove them straight into the surprised avian's chest, detonating in a powerful explosion.
Stunned by the new, soul-shearing pain, Tsugashi began to fall, but he soon regained his balance and he hovered barely above the ground. High enough. Daemonouse came up behind the distracted bird and leapt at its form. The serpentine demon wrapped his long coils around Tsugashi's body, sealing his wings. They both fell on the ground without any real damage. However, Daemonouse would not let his opponent have a breath. Flames straight from hell ignited all along the demon's body, making the trapped hero cry in surprise and pain.
Daemonouse let the flames linger long enough to burn away some of the bird's plumage, before leaping away from the body of the hero. Just as the latter began to get up, the spirit crusher opened his jaws once more, releasing the pitch of the Malebolge. The substance stuck to Tsugashi's back, where his plummage had been burned away for the most part, thus reaching the soft skin underneath. Then it began to burn. The bird was in such agony that it began to shake, to roll on the ground, to move around and take off that thing!
Daemonouse savored the show for a minute, before the pitch eventually disappeared. He shot a couple of Living Arrows at the still recovering hero....

Tsugashi orders air to rise the earth ahead of him. The safeguard of soil and trees intercept two of the Hellish projectiles, but the third passes through an open clearing in the intercepting wall courtesy of a detonated Living Arrow. The third arrow pains the tortured quadrant of the back with feathers cleared and dried blood left atop the layer of flesh. Tsugashi's ear-popping scream is received like a beautiful symphony to Serpentine Spirit Crusher. As for the fourth arrow, it strikes the ground just next to Tsugashi, but a safe enough distance where it fails to harm the Philippine Eagle incarnate.
Tsugashi rights himself to lift into the air, bringing himself up with a gust of wind instead of using his wings. Once he's in the air, The Mighty Hurricane sets his wings in motion to travel. Each flap of the wings creates a dull crunch-like sound, which is created by the crisp feathers being moved. Flakes of char sprinkle downwards as Tsugashi beats his mighty wings. Strings of heat sneak out from the bird's clenched beak, the weaponized heat growing in coalescence with Tsugashi's passion and demand for reckoning. The conglomeration finally reaches its peak, to which Tsugashi throws open his beak and blasts Daemonuse with his own brand of hell, but not before he uses his maximum Mach 4 flight speed to vanish then reappear behind Daemonuse, akin to Megaguirus (as the two share the same maximum flight speed). Tsugashi's Solar Purge blitzkrieg smoothly flows towards Daemonuse's flank, and spreads across the back in a microburst-like manner. Daemonuse roars, out of surprise than pain, because he expected to rough the attack with no dilemma. To explain, Tsugashi's heat is of a heroic nature, designed to harm immolating scum like Lord Nosdrah's friend here. Scales are disintegrated, impure flesh pushed to the limits with pain and burns.
Daemonuse refuses to retreat at first, his pride (or arrogance; one of the two) dictates to rough the attack, but the harm accumulates to the point that Daemonuse must dodge. The shadows take Daemonuse home into the umbra realm.
In the serpent's absence, the debilitating heat attack strikes the ground, trees igniting accordingly. Tsugashi flaps his wings to put out the fire, for harming the plant life is the opposite of his will. Daemonuse slithers towards Tsugashi under the cover of moving in a different dimension. Tsugashi spots the dark grayish outline moving along the surface and infers the sinner's planned course of attack, having fallen victim to it once already at the beginning of the match. The Dark One inferably launches out of the gloomy cosmos, cleavers poised to strike, but he's caught in the sky by The Mighty Hurricane's controlled air, unable to budge. Tsugashi follows up by conjuring a cylindrical meat grinder (akin to Scrambles' maw-grinders, except it's just one) behind Daemonuse. The cylinder accelerates into action before being slammed into the badly burned back, chewing up meat and throwing ribbons of flesh and grainy particles in all directions.
The next thing to be absorbed out of the wound is blood; sin-filled life essence. Serpentine Shadow Serpent laughs in the face of pain to hide its magnitude, but in reality, his incredibly sore back is torn asunder by the makeshift weapon. To conclude his array of auto-hit attacks, Tsugashi flies upwards and loops in an arc which separates the deity from his mortal enemy. Starting from at least 1,500 meters away, Tsugashi approaches in a straight route while spinning furiously. He acts out a Screwcrusher Slam and pounds into Daemonuse with elevated potency. The action pushes Daemonuse back, driving the meatgrinder deeper into the back while it maintains activity. The barbaric tool tears apart muscle and sinew alike, creating a big splash of blood. This goes on for just a trio of seconds, then Daemonuse free-falls in descension, landing on his dramatic back wound. The impact throws a pulse of pain outwards from the saturating wound, traveling through the network of nerves (or whatever the demon has in lieu of nerves to respond to painful stimuli). The sinning serpent proves his worth and might by "standing" as immediately as possible, and spits out blood from his skeletal complexion. He beckons The Mighty Hurricane to attack again, an offer Tsugashi will not refuse. Tsugashi divebombs to take Daemonuse in strong talons, flies high, then lobs Daemonuse ahead and rockets a stream of Fury Lightning towards Daemonuse's body...

You have until tomorrow night to post, CD. I'm not gonna let this match drag on at the pace it's going. It's pretty ridiculous for it to have been made a month ago and only have 3 battle posts.

Righto, sir.
The lightning manages to strike the hellish serpent, the sheer force of the bolt knocking him even farther away. The voltage in his body grows at an agonizing rate, before utterly exploding. Now a cloud of black smoke is hiding Daemonouse from view, and he uses that to his advantage.
A couple of Living Arrows emerge from the smoke, once again ignoring the wind thrown by the eagle's wings with their ghastly essence, and slamming into him. While the soul-affecting pain is bad as few things he experienced, Tsugashi manages to shrug it off without much trouble, however that moment-long distraction was all Daemonouse needs.
Inumbrating himself, he uses his new, shadow-built wings to propel himself at the surprised hero. Before Tsugashi even realizes what happens, Serpentine Spirit Crusher's now-energized schytes dig deep into his shoulders. While no real wound is shown, besides what looks like a burn, the pain from them is excruciating, ripping a low wail from the heroic eagle.
Daemonouse brings his head forward, staring Tsugashi in the eye. "Now we are even" he says, as his coils wrap again around the eagle's body, sealing his wings shut. Flapping his umbra wings, the snakey demon begins to gain more altitude, taking them both to the skies. The whole time, his eyes never leave Tsugashi's, keeping him into some sort of daze, preventing him from moving or even reacting, making him look into the endless pits of suffering, darkness and pain of the abyss that were his thoughts.
Once high enough, Dae stops his spell, and slightly uncoils himself from the hero. Just enough to drown his body in demonic pitch. As the hero screams in pain while the pitch burns his feathers and skin, Daemonouse, whit a cruel smirk, unleashes a wave of frost from his maw that makes the pitch become solid, effectively trapping the eagle.
"Now YOU are the wingless one, hero" the demon mocks, before painfully removing the schytes from Tsugashi's shoulders. Heavy with the solid pitch and unable to fly, the hero begins his downfall, as the demonic chackling of Daemonouse resonates throughout the skies...
