OOC: Holy shit, I've been getting lazy....
Anger welled up in the form of Kori. He had let this brutish chaos spreader bat him around long enough! With an enraged roar, Kori spat his ice beam at his foe, the freezing weapon wrestling with Typhon's flaming aura for a little bit, causing Typhon to chuckle at how futile the effort was. Suddenly, though, Kori shot towards Typhon like a meteorite and, before the monster was prepared, Kori slamemd face-first into him full force, sending Typhon down to the floor with athundering BOOM.
The fiery aura of Typhon took its toll on Kori- his pristine hide had numerous burns, and his entire body was smoking from the intense flames. But kori was a preservering monster, having battled horrible and inumerable odds before, so the ice dragon pressed on, soon blasting the prone Typhon with a powerful ice beam, freezing his lower torso, from his legs up to his waist, solid. Snarling, Kori soon hopped upwards, and sent a blast of ice from his maw down towards Typhon's chest, freezign the titan solid, save for his heads and his wing arms.
Suddenly, the ari around kori grew very cold, and the widns began to howl and scream. Kori let out a thundering roar, as, once more, a horrible blizzard assautled the arena. Land became ice, the air was fileld with snow and sleet, the winds sliced liek daggers as razor sharp hunks of ice danced through the air. Kori wasn't about to let Typhon win.... no matter the cost.

If possible, the cold winds and his icy trap made Typhon even angrier. His aura of burning rage melted his prison right away. even if the coldbites derived from it remained and hurt. The Titan's anger was taking its toll on the surroundings, and as he roared, the ground shook with great violence. Kori wasn't affected, since he was airborne, but he saw and heard the earthquake tearing apart the few remains of the city. More geysers of lava erupted all around, releasing rivers of burning fury.
The blizzard and the eruption battled for dominance of the field, much like their two masters. It was a weird spectacle, really: a frozen, snowy land, filled with rivers of fire and melted rock. An amazing sight to behold, but the two contestants could care less.
Typhon didn't really care about winning. All he wanted was to destroy, that's what he was born for, and that was what he was going to do. However, he knew the annoying ice freak was not stupid, and would not come down and face him head-on like he expected from a real warrior. No matter, he thought, he'd soon prefer land to sky.
Typhon turned to the dark clouds above and, extending his hand, called to his elemental control once more. As soon as it came, the blizzard stopped. Kori looked above him, confused as to what just happened. Typhon began to move his hand in circular motion, and the clouds began to move around, even darker than before. Thunder roared among them, and soon in the was a storm worth a hurricane, yet no wind blew.
Kori stood hovering, unsure, but prepared to react at any attack the titan might try. He was, however, not prepared for the lightning bolt that exploded from the clouds to hit his back. Kori roared in surprise and pain, but having reflexes quick enough to speed away as another lightning bolt flew past him. He sped around, dodging the cloud's rage. It worked at first, but got too difficult when lava geysers and meteors joined the fight. Kori could put out the fire, but thunderbolts and meteors were still coming. He knew he really shouldn't, but he had to try it for now. He landed.
He turned towards where he knew Typhon was, and looked straight into an armored chest. He lifted his gaze to see Typhon looming over him, a mixture of fury and amusement on his face. His main right arm shot forward and grabbed Kori's neck, lifting him up. Typhon's head growled at him, before latching to one of Kori's limbs each. The main head smirked, then latched onto the dragon's neck. All the heads tightened their hold, their headed teeth slicing through the pristine scales with ease.
All together, they tightened their hold a little more, then threw Kori away with a collective burst of flames. Kori was pushed backwards in a wave of fire, landing on the snowy ground, his face a few meters away from a river of lave.Typhon got close, and put his foot on the dragon's head, beginning to push his head into the boiling liquid...

OOC: Hot damn! Two weeks late! The fiery magma inched ever closer to his prone face, the icy dragon feelign the scorching liquid rock's fiery essence seeping up towards his defenseless position. The magma's searing heat bubbled and hissed against his hide, the sheer heat burnign his scales, as he was literally centimeters away from the lava. The icy titan howled inp ain as the heat began to horrifcally burn his face. Typhon simpyl chuckled, enjoying the pain the hero was suffering. Suddenly, surging what strength he had left in his body, Kori Kahn blasted out a massive eruption of icy energy, the force stumbling Typhon backwards as ice covered his entire torso and parts of his leg, primarily his foot. Kori rose to his feet, the right side of his face scorched and scarred from the scalding heat of the magma. Typhon was frozen, essentially where he stood, but that's not to say that the brute didn't try to free himself. The beast blasted fire and smoek at Kori ,but Kori lunged forward, horn downward, befoe he slamemd full force into Typhon's lower torso, his razor sharp horn digging into the belly of Typhon. The impact shattered the ice icnasing Typhon liek a tomb, flayign off hide and shattering previously exposed musculature upno impact. The horn was imbedded deep into Typhon's torso, the massive brute snarlnig as he began to attempt to get back up almost immediately. Growling, Kori viciously yanked his horn up across Typhon's torso, slicing a massive cut that reached up onto Typhon's left pectoral. The fiery titan howled in pain, before swattign at Kori. The ice dragon quickly hopped backwards, avoiding the brutal strike, as hte hulking titan rose to his feet, blood dripping from his wounds, his belly dripping especially profusely. Typhon let out a rattling roar, before a plume of flame fired out from his maw, and geysers of magma blasted upwards from the very earth the two battled. Kori soon took to the air, flames narrowly missing his feet and torso. The winged titan soon flew high into the air, Typhon belching flames and summoning meteors from the heavens to destroy his opponent, but Kori persisted to keep flying higher and higher. Typhon was getting frustrated with this half pint! As soon as the ice kign felt high enough, he dove down with incredible speed towards Typhon. Typhon blasted flames at Kori, but the frosty dragon pressed on, and soon, he slammed fullforce once more into Typhon, flooring the titan. The impact also sent Kori spiralling out of control, the frosty dragon spinning through the air, before crashign down on his feet, tearign up asphalt and dirt as he slowed himself to a stop. Whirling around, Kori opened his maw, before unleashign a blistering beam of frost energy, aiming to freeze Typhon once more...

The beam of frost hit its target head-on. Kori put as much as he could into the blast, and before he realized, Typhon was nearly completely encased in an icy prison. All of him but his main head was trapped in a layer of ice. As the frost took its tool on him, Typhon felt the cold bite of ice sink under his crimson scales like thousands of daggers digging into his flesh. Dizzy from the sudden temperature drop, Typhon took a moment to recover from the confusion, and after some seconds he saw clawed paws on his frozen chest. He looked up to find Kori smirking down at him.
"What's the matter, Master of Chaos? Your rage has been chilled?" Taunted the dragon. Still confused, Typhon needed a second to realize his head had been thrown to the side by a clawed slap from Kori. The cold claws had dug into the flesh without much difficulty, and the dragon was quite enjoying this. He saw Typhon turn his head slowly, and prepared for another attack. But as soon as his eyes met the titan's, he was nearly thrown back at what he saw. Typhon's eyes were like ignited from inside, transmitting such a fury and hatred that it nearly hurt as much as a true blow. Such a magnitude made Kori take one step back, and it was all it took.
Typhon rose, his whole form erupting in an aura of searing fires that blasted apart the ice encasing him and threw Kori away. It hurt, but he was too angry to really bother. His heads and wing-arms were all turned into columns of fire, adding in to the aura surrounding him. He was much like a living torch now. His gaze never leaving Kori's form, he moved towards the dragon slowly, the heat around him increasing with each step he took.
Kori reacted immediately, and breathed a volley of spheres of frost at Typhon. However, the fire surounding him served much like a shield, as the cold spheres were nullified even before they reached Typhon. Typhon didn't even flinch as Kori threw more and more spheres, continuing his advance. Once he was close enought, he stopped, and threw forth his arms. Twin walls of fire appeared on each side of him, and ran forward, trapping Kori in an arena of heat.
Just as the dragon was taking a breath to freeze everything around him, Typhon threw a fireball at him. The sphere of flames went right into the dragon's throat, and Kori choked in surprise and pain. He grabbed at his burning throat, trying to take in air, but failing as the fire was kept ablaze by Typhon's will. The flame then died out, and Kori barely had the time to take in some life-giving oxigen before he was choking again. This time, however, preventing him from breathing was a clawed crimson hand.
Typhon lifted Kori at eye level, staring into the cold orbs with his blazing ones. The heat emitting from the creature was of such a magnitude that Kori found himself dehydrated at such speed that he could barely keep awake. That got even worse when, with a mighty roar, Typhon released a point-blank burst of fire onto him, setting him ablaze. As the dragon roared in pain, the titan pounched him in the chest with a burning fist, sending Kori hundreds of meters away.
Landing with a thud, Kori was, to say the least, surprised to find himself in a bunch of snow-covered land. he rapidly re-hydrated, even if the sudden change n temperature did bring some of his skin to breat and protest. His joy, however, was short-lived when a volley of fireballs came to melt all his hopes for a complete re-hydration. He turned, and saw Typhon closing in again, hands up as he released new fireballs towards him...

Kori was pained, brutalized, and mangled nearly beyond recognition. The once pristine white dragon was more of a charcoaly grey color from the fire licking his body constantly. His black eyes became dull and tired, yet filled with anger. As the fiery spheres came hurtling towards the wounded dragon, Kori braced himself, choosing to take the blasts rather than evading them. With a flap of his wings, Kori dispelled the flames, his dark eyes locked firmly on the form of the raging titan. This frosty menace had proven himself a dangerous opponent! Icy energies gathered in kori's maw, as he breathed a bit of it over his own hand. Typhon's own maw filled with flames, and the final battle began.
As Typhon raised a foot the create a magma geyser, Kori sprang into action. With a haunting howl, Kori slashed forward with an ice empowered claw strike. Unprepared for the sudden show of aggression, Typhon was slashed clean across the belly, a geyser of magma blood squirting out, splattering across Kori's face, sizzling against his greyish-white hide. The icy energy swirling about his paw created a thin layer of ice on the zone of attack, the ice seeping slightly into Typhon's very form. The fiery titan was raging now, the behemoth letting out a deafening roar, flames dancing around the two monsters. Kori replied with his own roar, icy winds swirling about the two combatants. The two began a stand off, eyes locked firmly with one another. For the first time, perhaps in the entire history of the UCA, 2 polar opposites fought head-to-head. Rage met courage, hatred met duty, heroism met amorality. Fire and ice collided in a spectacular display. Typhon's fiery breath slithered from his maw, as Kori's frosty breath introduced itself as well. The two opposites soon dispelled each other, a cloud of fire and ice rising up from the now decimated arena.
Typhon lunged forward, a massive wing arm aimed to crush Kori into the scorching earth, but the frosty dragon was prepared. As the fist came down, Kori leaped backward,s causing the enormous limb to become lodged in the earth in an eruption of ash and flame. As Typhon tugged to remove his fist from the earth, Kori clambered up Typhon's arm, using his wing-limb as a platform up to the massive monstrosity's heads, before the frozen king blasted the fire monster's visages full of his deadly breath. The titan's heads squirmed and slithered about, flames gathering in their maws in an attempt to save themselves. But the ice was too powerful- the flames became trapped in their throats as the screaming maws were frozen solid, and their heads were trapped into a pose of both horror and majesty. Typhon's limbs began to spazz out, the titan falling onto his knees as he clawed at his face.
The behemoth was choking to death!
Fire splashed against the thick ice, claws raked against it, its tail slammed into it- Typhon did everything in his power to shatter the ice imprisoning his heads, but the ice had become too thick. Typhon's struggles were becoming weaker and weaker with every passing moment, the humongous leviathan slowly but painfully suffocating to death. Not even the flames in his mouth were working; the titan's maws and throats was so frozen over, that his deadly flames were unable to break through the layers of ice! No logner playing around, Typhon's entire body erupted into a sea of flames, the powerful ice prison , despite its power, unable to withstand the full fury of Typhon. As Typhon changed back, the titan panted deeply, still struggling to breathe from being choked for so long. As Typhon attempted to rise, he was suddenly greeted with a powerful tail swipe to the face, the power of the blow crashing into the 2 side heads and causign the others to take the impact. Thee power behind the strike sent Typhon rolling to his side, kicking plume of ash and frost. Typhon groaned, the two faces havign taken the brunt of the blow now having massive gashes upno their heds, magma blood drippnig down and sizzling otno the floor. The fiery titan coughed up massive globs of fiery blood. Kori growled, before he spat out another frosty beam of ice breath. It was time to end this!

As the beam of frost closed on Typhon, the kneeling titan lifted his hand, fist pointed right at the frozen stream. Fire enveloped said fist, and the frost beam hit the appendage...only to immediately evaporate from the immense heat. Typhon never turned towards Kori until the beam was extinguished, and neither did his fire abandon his fist when he did. Typhon rose slowly to his full height, and once again his four heads and his arm-wings turned into a fiery mane blazing on his back. This fight was about to end.
Flames appeared in Typhon's maw, and he stomped with force his foot on the ground, before throwing his muzzle forward. A concentrated beam of lava outlined by flames was unleashed. Kori answered with his icy breath weapon, and the beams collided in a great explosion. Kori tried his best, but the sheer power of Typhon's heat pushed right through the frost beam. The frost dragon was hit head-on, and he got knocked backwards of many thousands of meters, the beam pushing him. The heat was immense, much more than what Kori had withstood up to that moment. He felt his scales sizzle and burn in the scorching touch of fire. The flow of flames soon ended, but its agonizing bite could still be felt from Kori, who laid on the ground, breathing heavily, trying to regain at least some of his standard cold temperature back.
Once strong enough to get back up, Kori looked in front of him...and found no trace of Typhon. He looked around, and still no sign of the lumbering titan. Then the earth began to tremble, and the ground below Kori exploded upwards in a boost of magma. Once more, the boiling melted rock engulfed him, taking the shape of a huge hand. In front of him appeared Typhon, or at least his torso and main head. Instead of crimson, they were completely black, the magma forming huge hands and a sort of flowing cape, and fire as his mane. Typhon squeezed the hero in his burning grip with hatred in his burning white eyes.
Kori couldn't take it enymore. With a roar of pain and rage, he unleashed what little cold he had left in a wave of frost that solidified the hand holding him and put out most of the flames surrounding Typhon. The creature growled in pain as its hand fell off and was shattered by the ice dragon, who immediately spreaded his wings and took flight. Typhon watched him go as his hand reformed. He had enough.
Flying as fast as he could, Kori managed to get the cold wings to help him cool his body down, and he sighed in relief. Once done, he turned his head, and froze (bad pun, I know right?): Typhon was flying, actually FLYING towards him, his body whole with the exception of the wing arms which were still gone. Like new in his scarlet scales, the titan was enveloped in fire which propelled him towards the dragon. Kori didn't loose any time in speeding up towards the clouds, hoping the cold air would wear down his foe. He was so occupied in ascending, that he roared in surprise and pain when a fireball hit him square in the back. he turned, and saw Typhon's heads firing fireballs at him like gattling guns, while the main head unleashed soncentrated beams of magma.
Kori spotted one of the beams being particularly accurate in heading towards him....

"CEASE COMBAT," rumbled the Announcer. "THE MATCH HAS BEEN DECLARED, THE WINNER IS KORI KAHN! THE WINNER IS KORI KAHN!"
(VERY cool match, a true elemental clash for the ages. Kori overcame the disadvantage in size and element to win by the tiniest of margins. It wasn't an easy decision, could have gone either way really, but by a combination of Typhon not always taking full advantage of his greater size and raw power plus Kori belying his own stature with focused, effective attacks, the ice dragon won the day, perhaps more by skill then outright damage. The technique of freezing flesh and then shattering it was particularly impressive to me, although Typhon showed some surprisingly cunning tactic as well. Guess chaos can be smart sometimes, eh? Both both of you really put on a show though, was a hell of a fun fight to read.)

OOC: Wasn't expecting this outcome! AMAZING match, CD, probably one of my favorite ones yet! Can't wait to see Typhon in action once more.... Horrifically burned and wounded, but still able to stand, Kori glanced in the direction of his opponent. He was equally as battered, and, though he hated to admit it, he had garnered a respect from the ancient ice king- something few monsters are able to do. Chaos or not, this monster had proven himself a formidable opponent... and he respected a great warrior. "You are a worthy opponent indeed," Kori said in deep, raspy breaths. "May paths cross again sometime, fire demon. Perhaps you will better understand the power of order." With that, the light inveloped Kori, and the venerable Arctic Destroyer disappeared from sight...

I actually did expect this, but it was still quite fun. Good match, Dan.
Typhon responded Kori with a snort. He hated to say it, but that had been one of his best fights yet. He stretched his wing-arms a bit, before melting into lava and returning to the Core to rest.
