Name: Kadrah
Height: 90 meters
Length: 450 meters
Weight: 80 000 tons
History: Kadrah is one of the allari, an ancient species 500 million years old, a species existing at the time of the Cambrian era. Under the protection of the Gods of the Earth, Sea, and Sky, the allari were gifted with advanced technologies that combined physical with the supernatural. Born under the flag of the southern water tribe known as Levikuto Kadrah began her training in the military at a young age. Honing her skill through war with the alien Qu'thelia, Kadrah won a decisive victory in a terrific battle. Recognized for her ability as a warrior, Kadrah was brought to the mystic Temple of the Sea, where she was brought before the great god of the ocean himself: Leviathan. Gifted with the spiritual power of the gods - aether - Kadrah began to undergo training as a special elite warrior known as an Ophorus. Renowned for their incredible skill in battle, immortality, aethereal powers, and the ability to take on the form of colossal monster shaped in their god's image, the Ophorus were the finest warriors to ever live in the allari kingdom. The Ophorus were the god’s warriors.
There came a day where Kadrah’s life changed forever. Her people were betrayed by the very gods they devoted their lives to serve. The gods Leviathan and Behemoth engaged in brutal combat, taking countless lives in the process. The seas boiled and churned, volcanic eruption blot out the very sun, tsunamis tore apart entire cities and earthquakes threatened to destroy the continents. Kadrah and the surviving Ophorus gathered the survivors of their race and fled their dying world. Life on their planet reverted back into simple, tiny organisms, and the world would again return to its humble beginnings. The remains of the old world, fossils, cities, artifacts, were lost.
Believing their home to be lost, the allari found themselves a new home world in another dimension, filled with nether. It was hoped that the nethereal world would keep the "False Gods" at bay, for it directly opposed the aethereal beings. This decision came at a price. The nether corrupted the evolution of their allari, transforming them into a wide variety of terrible, soul devouring abominations that would come to be known as demons. The realm was soon known as the Underworld, the land of the corrupt dead.
The immortal Ophorus thankfully remained unaffected by the evolutionary influence of the nether, but were forced into hiding from their terrible brethren. When Leviathan found his was to the underworld, many Ophorus and demons alike were murdered in cold blood, but a few surviving Ophorus used the opportunity to escape to the mortal realm. There, they searched desperately for a new home, another chance. They slept in stasis, awaiting for their ships systems to find them a new home that could support life.
Centuries passed by. Centuries became millenniums. And still the Ophorus sailed through the void of space, asleep in stasis, waiting for the day they prayed for.
Hundreds of millions of years passed until the life bearing world was found. But this was not a strange new land. No, the Ophorus had returned to their original home world. In all these countless years, it had managed to regained life: plant, reptiles, insects, birds, and mammals roamed the wilderness. There were no sign of the False Gods, nor of the giant beasts created to protect the world from the ancient Qu'Thelia threat. Indeed, the core of their planet no longer gave off the aether supplies it once had in life. It was believed that in the struggle of Leviathan and Behemoth, the core was damaged beyond repair.
The Ophorus decided to give up their immortality and pass on the genes of their race, so that they may have a second chance away form the corruptive influence of nether. One last Ophorus, Kadrah, was left behind to protect their decedents from the False Gods and the horrors of the Underworld. She is all that remains of her once proud race.
Description:
Color: The top, furred half of Kadrah's body is a rich black. This fur covers her head, limbs, and tail as well. The plated underside is bright scarlet, as well as her spiked backside. Her horns, antlers, and crest are bone white. Her eyes are the color of sapphires, and her mane is a dark red. Her meteor hammer is silver in color.
Personality: Though her dark attire hides her face to create an intimidating appearance, Kadrah isn't quite as sinister as she seems. She is cold perhaps, calculating and tough, demands respect, and she certainly isn’t afraid to voice her opinion on any matters at hand. Still, Kadrah is a valiant protector of the innocent and those weaker than her. And as hard as her outer shell may be, she still has warmth buried deep within her warrior's heart. Eons of battle may have hardened her against death and disaster, but her cause is and always will be devoted to protect those who need it. Capable of remaining calm in the midst of battle, keeping the strong will of a hardened warrior, and showcasing wisdom and intelligence born from over millions of years of life, Kadrah makes for a natural leader. However, she also isn't the most social of people. Once a topic has moved outside of the allari, battle, training, or old feuds, she usually has little to discuss.
In combat, Kadrah is a truly a sight to behold. Her long life of training has sculpted her into an extremely skilled fighter. When she fights in close quarters, it is not with anger, raw power, or strength, but with tranquil calm, grace and elegance. Her combat style incorporates fast and powerful strikes in a fluid and rapid movement, in a process that appears similar to martial arts. (Though given her body shape, most of her moves would be impossible for a humanoid to replicate.) Her favorite weapon is the kaiju-sized double-ended meteor hammer, which she controls with her four tails. Against the average monster, Kadrah can dominate in many close quarter combat situations, though those who are particularly strong or skilled in melee combat can hold their own. Kadrah also has aethereal abilities at her disposal to enhance her combative abilities.
Offensive Powers:
-Meteor Hammer: A weapon invented by Kadrah herself (which was later adopted by the ancient Chinese), the meteor hammer is a long chain of agronium, weighted on both ends by a dense, melon shaped weights. Controlled by all four of her tails, it can be used for both attack and defense. The weapon is swung around the body, building up incredible speeds. To attack, one end of the hammer is released to strike at any angle. When being swung, the meteor can be wrapped around one of Kadrah’s tails, and sometimes her legs, back, and neck, before being unwrapped to deliver devastating punches. It’s speed, accuracy, and unpredictability makes the meteor hammer difficult to dodge, and nearly impossible to counter. Kadrah is also capable of ensnaring objects or opponent with the meteor, placing opponents in locks or holds, initiating throws, and bouncing the chain off her body or other objects as a way to make the meteor hammer even more unpredictable. Although some monsters may try to exploit the unpredictable nature of the meteor hammer to injure the wielder, Kadrah is more than capable of avoiding damage at the last minute, due to years of accidently injuring herself through its use. Due to the speed of which the meteor hammer moves, a blow from this weapon is very powerful, capable of knocking opponents off their feet, smashing through armor, and delivering painful blunt trauma.
-Constriction: Kadrah's powerful body is similar to that of a python, wrapped in a blanket of strong muscles. Her coils can exert incalculable amounts of force, capable of splintering armor and crushing flesh into a pulp.
-Molten Venom: Kadrah’s jaws are equipped with six fangs, which secrete fluids similar to molten metal, burning through flesh around the wound.
Powers:
-Tal'u Levikuto Miaki (Aethereal Manipulation): By the very nature of aether, the spiritual element of creation, most forms of life already have minuscule amounts of aethereal forces tied into their very being, or indeed any formation of matter or energy, though of course it cannot be seen or sensed through conventional means. But the Ophorus were bestowed a gift by the gods: their very power itself. Without their influence, the pure aether forces would have proved too much for a mortal body, often with fatal results. But under their protection, the Ophorus were transformed into true high level aethereal beings. Through countless hours of meditation they learned to hone and focus their internal aether energy, for they could not even begin to use their power until they were at one with their spiritual essence and inner selves. As an old saying of Temple of the Sea goes: "My inner force cannot be controlled, tamed, or subjected. Instead I must learn to become one with it, for it is a part of me."
Kadrah has become a master of this ancient art. Even against those she fears or hates, she has learned to subdue her emotions and forget herself in combat, and in its place there is only internal peace. In serious combative situations, she will utilize her inner aethereal power to increase her abilities. The beginnings of Tal'u Levikuto Miaki (translated as "Form of the Ocean Serpent") are easily observable. Even the most completely uninitiated being, even the most simpleminded of creatures clueless to the workings of the Ophorus martial arts sees this simple beginning, and they may begin to fear her. Though they cannot see the aura of aethereal forces that have surrounded Kadrah, they know in their gut that she is becoming excessively dangerous. For when she has entered this tranquil state of mind, Kadrah is able to bring harm without flinching, not only does this become an extremely valuable tool on combat, but it serves as an excellent intimidation tactic as well. And victory through intimidating your opponent into giving up is better, and safer, than beating them into submission.
But aether is used for so much more than simple intimidation. What made the Ophorus the fighters they were was their ability to utilize this spiritual power in combat. Combined with strikes, blocks, or anything else she needs to apply it to, it becomes a devastatingly effective tool. Channeling aether throughout her body, Kadrah can increase her physical capabilities to incredibly power levels. This gives her the following abilities:
It should be noted that this isn't a typical UCA power up move. While it does make her stronger and faster, the fact is that Kadrah always fights with her full potential in a serious combat situation. This power more is more akin to an elemental ability than a temporary increase in power, but instead of the elemental ability being used as an outside force for attack, this ability is almost purely internal and designed to aid the user. Aether is after all the element of creation and life, not an element of destruction like nether. It is not in the nature of aether to be used as a weapon of harm itself.
In combat against allies, Kadrah will not use her inner aethereal force. Such tactics should be reserved for enemies.
-Training: Many ages of training have made Kadrah an experienced close quarter combatant. She can outfight most opponents in close combat through speed and skill alone, and her meteor hammer only adds to her lethality. If fighting Kadrah, it is advised that the opponent keep their distance, unless they possess great strength or melee skills of their own.
Weaknesses
-Excessive use of aether will create fatigue. Kadrah must use her gifts within reason. This does not apply to flight or her more passive abilities: tranquility, focused senses, or combat stance.
-Kadrah's inner aether may be very vulnerable to nethereal attacks.

Combined with strikes, blocks, or anything else she needs to apply it to, it becomes a devastatingly effective tool. Channeling aether throughout her body, Kadrah can increase her physical capabilities to incredibly power levels. This gives her the following abilities:
- Aethereal Combat: Under the guidance of aether and connected to the very fabric of existence, Kadrah's increased awareness and focus allows her to become unbelievably skilled and precise in combat, adding to her already dangerous fighting capabilities and allowing her to adapt to different methods of fighting with little to no preparation time.
- Aethereal Force: Kadrah increases her physical strength through aethereal forces, allowing her to perform otherwise impossible feats of strength. She can lift 300 000 tons of weight and destroy strong materials with her strikes. Even at its weakest, it can make the difference between someone blocking her attack, and that someone getting knocked down even though they blocked. But while the channeling of aether can make her strikes devastating, there is still more to it than pure kinetic force. Simply feeling the aether in her attacks transferring to their body is enough to surprise opponents and make them temporally forget about balance and combat stances, giving her a further edge.
- River Dancer: Channeling her inner aether not only increases the power of her strikes - it drastically increases her speed and acrobatics as well. When pressed, Kadrah can leap or run at speeds that defies her giant size for a short time, becoming almost a blur. The heights she can leap are also increased.
- Combat Stance: Kadrah can focus her aethereal power to withstand physical and mental pain. It also drastically increases her stability. Relaxed, and under the influence of aether, it's impossible for an average monster to push her over without going all out. In her combat stance, Kadrah can be very difficult to move.
- Focused Senses: Kadrah's senses are also increased far above average. Her ears can pick up tiny sounds, on the infrasonic and ultrasonic range, and can focus on sounds from far away distances. She can detect specific smells and locate their origin. She can see with amazing clarity through far distances and in dark environments, and through touch she can tell of distant occurrences through vibrations in the earth. Her senses cannot be overloaded, for eons of meditation have trained her to focus these powerful tools.
- Flight: Kadrah is capable of flight using her invisible aura of aether to levitate and propel her and speeds up to Mach 3. This adds a whole new dimension of flexibility with the meteor hammer, performing otherwise impossible attacks. This is a very easy power for Kadrah, and she is just at home in the air as she is on the ground. Due to the aura, it also becomes difficult, though not impossible, to lift her through telekinesis when in flight.
- Battle Aura: As an Ophorus of the Temple of the Sea, given the gift of aether by Leviathan himself, Kadrah retains a small amount of control over water, steam and ice. This usually manifests as a "battle aura" whenever she focuses her inner energies, as droplets of water, flakes of snow, or clouds of steam from the natural environment rise up around her. Her abilities are exceptionally limited, however. She can use sudden waves of the water, snow, ice, or steam surrounding her to deflect attacks, or unleash a buffeting blast of it that knocks opponents back. Because the element is captured in her aethereal aura, other water or ice manipulators will find themselves extremely hard pressed to control this "battle aura" for their own use.
- Aether Shield: Kadrah can create an invisible but powerful barrier of aether to shield herself from energy attacks, though because of the focus required she cannot use this often.
- Meteor Charge: To increase the lethality of the meteor hammer, Kadrah can channel aether through her specially designed weapon to give it an explosive edge. When this charged hammer strikes, it releases an invisible explosion of force. This super weapon can create earthquakes and even open small fissures with its supernatural blows.
- Tranquility: By forgeting herself and reaching internal peace, Kadrah has learned to subdue her emotions in combat and forget her hate, fear, and doubts. Her tranquility allows her to remain calm and think reasonably under emotion able or physical distress, and makes her highly resistant to emotion based powers or torture.
- Healing Hands: Unique to the Ophorus of the Temple of the Sea, Kadrah can use her aethereal powers to repair damage that has been done, be it her own or another, both organic and artificial. This of course is banned from UCA matches. However, this ability can also be used to cure poisons and diseases and destroy harmful bacteria, purifying herself or allies.
- Shapeshifting: Kadrah's greatest power is the ability to shapeshift into a huge serpentine, dragon like creature, made partially in the image of the Ocean God Leviathan. This is the form that she uses in matches in the UCA, and is unable to turn back to her true form for the duration of the match.
