Over the desolate city, a bright light descended from the heavens. When the light faded, there was Crigan, the Legendary hovering a hundred meters above the ground, ready for the fight to begin. But this wasn't one of the blood-thirsty clashes that the UCA held so often... THis was training for both him... and his opponent.... a friendly spar, to be more precise.

A second beam of light, and a long, black and red eastern dragon floated down, settling in the streets. Kadru's eyes were closed, and as she waited for the match to begin, she began to stretch out her joints and muscles. Her tails, meanwhile, gave the kaiju-sized meteor hammer a few practice twirls, regaining familiarity with the weapon.

OCC: SW gave the green light on AIM. *shrugs*
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kadru's eyes snapped open, revealing the fiery blue glow that seemed to surge with energy. She waited for Crigan to make the first move, letting her meteor hammer hang passively from her four tails. Her body relaxed. No muscles were tensed. Her legs bent ever so slightly. Her breath was calm and even. Her eyes and ears were wide and alert, taking in every sight, every sound. Another breath in... the air settling into her chest. She imagined the air as energy, like a floating ball of gas. She tightened her chest, compressing the gas into little more than a marble of energy. Now she breathed out... and let the invisible energy flow to her claws, jaws, and tails. Kadru was ready for her partner.
Crigan charged, letting his mass ram into the dragon as an opening attack. As he drew near, Kadru shifted her weight to her back legs. With a thunderous crash, the worm's armored head drove into Kadru, just above her shoulders. It was a heavy blow, one that could have easily staggered most monsters. Yet the dragon hardly moved a few meters, the added weight on her back legs serving to anchor herself against Crigan's ram. Now that he was thrown off balance by his own blow, Kadru stepped diagonally towards Crigan's left side, before arching her head back. The weight on her hind legs shifted to her front at the same time her head struck forward, twisting on her neck. The demoness hit Crigan's left side, the added weight and the rotation of her head further allowing her to drive into his body. The blow knocked Crigan out of the air and into a nearby building. A shower of rubble collapsed onto the streets below.
Before he could rise, the eastern dragon was upon him! Her spiked elbows pressed into the back of his neck, behind his head. Kadru paused for a moment, before releasing Crigan. "So who exactly was that 'Yukari' back at the Hub?", she casually asked, while Crigan rose to the air. The question was immediately followed by one of her tails snapping across his neck, earning a bit of a yelp from Crigan.
"Stay alert, and don't back down for a second," Kadru instructed. "Anyway, it seems like you and Yukari don't have the friendliest of relationships. What happened?" With that, her meteor hammer came sweeping out beneath her feet, the dragon casually levitating to the air as the did so. The hammer came around, directed at Crigan's head. Kadru hoped that Crigan had stayed alert this time...

Sure enoug, this time Crigan was quick to fly up sideways, just dodging the meteor hammer. "Yukari is the troll of the universe. It was her who made Persephone into what she is, and she's the only one who can give me back my wife." The pokemon chirped as a fireball formed in his maw, which he then discharged at Kadru. The demoness dodged it with ease... but a second fireball nailed her in the side, exploding against her. This sent her toppling down onto the streets below.
The tapeworm floated down toward the downed dragon. "I think I may have overdone tha-"
His efforts at apologizing were rewarded with a whack outside the head from the meteor hammer, sending him onto his back. "Pay attention." kadru reminded him once more as she rose up onto her feet.
The Distortion Lord floated off the ground back to face Kadru. "Alright then." he said, shaking his head, before he flew back aways. As he did, he noticed that the horn on Kadru's head was glowing red, and he could see flames churning in her maw. Crigan also prepared his fireball, and at that moment, the two fired their fiery attacks at one another! The fireball surged into the flaming pillar of hellfire, both attacks pushing agains tone another, until the fireball exploded. The resulting explosion between both attacks was enough to push back Kadru...
And creating an opening for Crigan.
Flying quickly, the tapeworm smashed into her side, sending the surprised dragon toppling. The 6 red tips of Crigan's wings glowed yellow as he readied himself to charge. "I asked her to change my wife back onto my side. To bring her back to me... But she refused, becuase watching me suffer is the only entertainment she can get!" The demonic worm hissed as he charged...

The dragon rolled to her feet as Crigan charged, her tails working the meteor hammer. As Crigan drew near, the weapon lashed out at a curving angle. The hammer wrapped itself about the charging pokemon, and a sudden tug on Kadru's part, sent him spinning away as the chain freed itself. Crigan regained flight before hitting the ground, his glowing blades splitting apart the contrite streets like a hot knife through butter.
"Yukari is worse than I had originally thought," said Kadru, her meteor hammer now in full use, spinning, wrapping, and unwrapping among her tails. A beautiful, yet deadly display. "She is among the worst of demons I have encountered among the years." Her meteor hammers was a blur by this point. The display was messing with Crigan's eyes, as he tried to follow the speedy weight. Back, forth, around, the weapon seemed to be everywhere at once. Kadru's tails worked like they had minds of their own, wrapping the chain about themselves, unwrapping, switching from tail to tail. It must have taken years of practice for Kadru to lear-
WHACK!
The meteor hammer had punched out at such blinding speed, Crigan had little to no time at all to react. The weight smashed into the spot where his chest would be, knocking the breath out from under him, several large cracks appearing in his armor. He was thrown back to the ground, coughing as he did so.
Kadru slowed the meteor hammer to a halt as Crigan recovered. "I am sorry..." she said, letting the weight drop to the ground. "I should not have hit you that hard. My mind was occupied." Remembering what Kadru had done when he apologized, Crigan decided to fire off a fireball in her direction. This time, Kadru made no attempt to dodge, letting the attack explode against her body. Her way of letting Crigan get even.
The meteor hammer began to swing once again, this time smashing against the side of a building. Like a wrecking ball, the weight tore through the structure, sending rubble flying into Crigan like small bullets. As he was distracted, the meteor hammer punched out again, but this time colliding with the worms body with only half the force as before. "Yukari will someday pay for her crimes, Crigan. A being that is perhaps nearly as bad as the False Gods cannot go unnoticed by those that desire peace." As she spoke the words "False Gods", Crigan noticed a small gleam of fire within her eyes. This was interrupted the her glow of her crest. Her antlers began to charge with whips of red energy as hellfire escaped her jaws...

With the hellfire coming in once more, Crigan did what he did before as well... only, this time itwasn't a fireball, but an orb of pure energy that he launched from the tips of his wings. The two attacks collided once more, pushing and shoving at one another.... but this time, the resulting explosion was far brighter, and far more powerful. Kadru was blinded as she was sent flying back, almost crashing into a massive 80 story building behind her. She kept on her guard, ready if Crigan came to attack her while she was blind...
Bu tno such attack came.
Within seconds, her fight was back, and she looked around, trying to locate Crigan, yet he was as if he had vanished from the fight. His voice, however, could be heard echoing through the city. "False Gods, eh? I take it you didn't have a good time with those guys. Whatever they did in your universe, It couldn't possibly be as bad a reality warpnig just to troll everyone and anyone, even if it means genicide at times.... could it?" The voice of the Death God rang out all around Kadru, making locating him impossible. "Oh yeah, and above you."
WHACK!
The demonic dragon plummeted from the sky as an invisible force struck it from above. Kadru slammed into the building side, then crumbled onto the ground, stunned and confused. Then, a blue fireball seemed to fire out of nowhere and slam into the area of the bulding she had crashed into. Groaning and snapping, the massive structure collapsed onto Kadru, burying her alive!
Up in the air, Crigna chuckled to himself as he seemed to phaze into view, while overlooking his handiwork. "Ah, You gotta love invisibility." He chirped. Though maybe I overdid that hit abiit much. Then again, if this was the Gap Ha-"
A rumbling roar cut his musings off as Kadru charged from the rubble, her side covered in scratches, cuts, and bleeding wounds. Crigan branced himself...
And then engaged her in close combat, the worm trying to maneuver around the dragon to attack with his claws...
Big mistake.
Kadru whirled around, and delivered a focused punch into his gut. The air was knocked out of Crigan's lungs, and the Legendary struggled to stay afloat as Kadru took the opportunity to deliver her deadly matial arts attacks. Blow after blow nailed the tapeworm, each one hurting more than the last.
Taking the hits as best he could, Crigan's claws began to glow, as he prepared to slash out when the opportunity presented itself...

Cigan struck out, but as a self defense maneuver, one of Kadru’s long tails whipped forward, blocking the attack by pushing Crigan’s body too far to the side, as Kadru stepped forward to dodge the weapon. A second tail, the tip having flattened itself, came sweeping forward in a horizontal arc, slowing down just enough to avoid dealing a deadly blow as the narrow edge collided with Crigan’s neck! The worm shrieked in a mixture of surprise and stinging pain, but the controlled strike managed to deal only minor damage.
Stunned by the attack, Crigan was in no shape to counter as Kadru’s crest glowed white. The pokemon was lifted into the air by telekinetic power, before being tossed into a tower. “I once served the false gods,” Kadru hissed, her mood suddenly sour, though not necessarily at Crigan. “But they betrayed us. They betrayed each other. They started a war among themselves that ended in my planet’s destruction! The deaths of most of my people!” The demon’s eyes grew brighter in intensity as she spoke. “Only one actually cared enough to show my people to a new home. Hell.” A low growl escaped her throat.
“But enough of this conversation. Let us get back to training, shall we?”
Her crest glowed green, emerald energies dancing about her horns. At that moment, four, 100 meter long snakes materialized into the city. Two were pit vipers, while the others resembled boa constrictors. But while she has been using her spell, a fireball from Crigan smashed against her side. As the attack hit home, one of the snakes, a boa, struck out at the deity. The snake clamped onto his armored hide, before wrapping its body about Crigan. The second boa followed, and together, the two summoned serpents began to squeeze the worm with their powerful muscles. Taking the opportunity to strike, Kadru began to swing the meteor hammer once again, before letting out a lighting fast punch. The metal ball hurtled towards Crigan’s chest…

It was a fast, hit, and Crigan had no way of dodging it...
But he did the next best thing... rotate his body so that the snakes on him took the full brunt of the hit. Th eimpact of the hammer hurt and stung, but for the snakes, it was lethal. Both serpents snarled in pain as they exploded into a mist of magic. Freed from their embrace, Crigan floated up high, away from the vipers and Kadru. "That definitely sounds awful." Crigan noted, his eyes locked on Kadru especially. "Be thankful those jerks aren't here ar the UCA... unlike a certain old hag." He snarled as he prepared a primed fireball and launched it right for Kadru.
The distance was too great. The demon was able to easilly evade the fireball, before retaliating with hellfire of her own. As it streaked toward Crigan, the pokemon flew above it, and then vanished once more.
Kadru was on her alert this time. She was cautious. As she moved forward to try to locate the hidden giant, she could sense movement behind he-
SHadowy tendrils wrapped around her neck and body, restricting the dragon. Kadru was unable to move effectively. She tried to swing her meteor hammer, but it couldn't connect. Soon, she began to spin as the tendrils swung around and around, faster and faster, the demon's mind getting light-headed until...
they let go, and she went flying into the street.
As the dust settled from the impact, Kadru tried to rise back up. Above her, Crigan's form began to visify, as heperformed a front-flip in the air, bringing his tail down upon Kadru's head...

In one of the rooms of the UCA HUB, something was stirring... something malevolent, and angry...

In her vulnerable state, Kadru was unable to dodge or counter the blow this time around. Crigan's attack nailed her on the skull, sending her crashing back to the ground. The Ruler of the Distortion World took the opportunity to attack again, but his opponent wasn't going to let him do it this time. One of her tails snapped towards Crigan, rotating as it went. The appendage struck Crigan in the face, but the blow wasn't as strong as most of the demon's others. However, Kadru used the momentary stun to roll away from the worm, rising to her feet again. Her meteor hammer began to swing about her body once again.
"If the False Gods did arrive to this place like the hag..." The hammer moved faster and faster, in a repeated circular motion on Kadru's right side. "Well... at least the UCA's magic would weaken their power. They wouldn't be able to cause the same destruction my world suffered. Still... I know that at least one of them is out to kill off the rest of my people. Deliberately." Though her eyes showed signs of both fear and anger at her words, the meteor hammer did not alter its rhythmic movement, not even as it slowly lowered, smashing into the pavement and sending dozens of hunks of solid concrete flying at the pokemon at high speeds.
"I met that particular God quite recently, actually. Or at least, going by my life span. I suppose it was a few thousand years or so. Or was it more than that?" Kadru wondered, finally letting up on her "concrete bullet" attack. "Anyway, he tried to kill my people, some of us escaped, and I haven't seen any sign of the False Gods since then."
Her crest glowed orange, as her Draining Cloud spell seeped from her jaws. The orange mist washed over the battle field, and immediately, the concrete covered Crigan found his energy being drained, converting it into magical energy for Kadru. He was weakening, tiring among the clouds.
"I suppose it's worse for you, though," said Kadru, as her meteor hammer began to swing again. "Unlike myself, you have to deal with your hag of a nemesis all the time." And with that, the hammer swung out at a horizontal angle, rushing up to blindside Crigan...

Weakened and drained of his energy, Crigan was helpless as the meteor hammer nailed him in the face, the force sending the phantom centipede tumbling throught the air over his side. As he managed to hault himself, he shook his head, trying to regain focus... that energy could had drained him exhausted... "I must agree with you there." Crigan mumbled as he tried to regain his senses. "That Old Hag's been out to ruin me for kicks and giggles for- GHGUEHGJUGE!"
Pain stabbed into the mind of the Death God without warning. It was skin to having molten spires stabbed into his cranium, but far, far worse. He yelped out, and began to thrash about, while a very much confused and worried Kadru cound only stand back and watch. What was going on?
As he thrashed about out of control, in the depths of his mind, Crigan was now before the one person he had hoped wouldn't intervene... the Gap Hag herself, who was floating in the depths of his subconcious, smirking. "You know, I was going to turn a blind eye to the first insult, but when you two didn't cease, I dicided to give you a lesson, to respect your elders." She wispered before the subconcious of the beast, who was glaring at her.
"A lesson? Your the one who needs a damn lesson on not ruining other people's lives for your own entertainment! Your no better than the False Gods who ruined Kadru's life... Maribel."
That last word did it. The Gap hag's eyes began to twitch angrily, and though her voice was still low, it was seething with barely controlled rage. "You've been chating with the Yama, haven't you? I was going to let you off with just a bad migraine, but now, you know too much. I WOULD just wipe you rmemory clean myself, but I know someone whose going to give you the pain you so deserve..." Yukari hissed through gritted teeth as Crigan's mind was sent flying into a gap, which closed up instantly. "Have fun with Fear itself, whelp." The boundary being laughed as she took control...
Meanwhile, the body of Crigan was now spasming out of control, flailing into buildings, and launching fireballs at random. Kadru tried to dodge them all, but one stray fireball nailed her in the side, nearly causing the dragon to crash into the streets. As she managed to right herself, her eyes went back to Crigan... and she saw that the pokemon was now floating back up... but while it was Crigan's body, it wasn't him at all. Purple eyes peered out at her, and an overwhelming aura of power was suffocating the demon... an aura she recognized from before. "What have you done with Crigan, you hag!" Kadru snarled at the possesed being, who in term merely chuckled, before responding. It was a voice legion-esque and terrifying, a voice that sounded of men, women, and children, all speaking at once in the thousands, booming out like thunder.
"The whelp known as Crigan has pressed one button too many, and now, so I simply sent his mind over to a friend of a friend's. Besides, I found this to be far too tame of a fight, so how about we turn things up, girl?" Yukari's Outer God-esque voice blasted out as the helmet of Crigan began to glow bright...

A powerful beam erupted from the possessed Crigan's maw, tearing apart the streets in its path. Still shocked by the sudden change, Kadru was unable to react as the limited attack slammed into her body, sending her lengthily form flying through the air and delivering horrible burns. As the demonic dragon crashed into a skyscraper, toppling it over as she did, Yukari swiftly floated towards the fallen monster.
Amid the rubble, Kadru rose to the air, hovering about 50 meters above the ground as she regained her senses. Despite the pain, her body was relaxed. Every muscle was prepared to move at her command. As Yukari drew closer, the lung dragon’s four tails began to spin the meteor hammer, and her long body began to twist and flip about in the air. The weighted hammer was soon joined in its flight by the other end of the weapon, the tails gripping the center of the long chain so that each of the two weighted ends of the meteor hammer now spun about Kadru at high speeds. Before long, both the demon and the weapon had become a swirling twister, blurred by the speed of their movement. It would be suicide for the possessed Crigan to attack at this point.
Flames gathering in her stolen body’s maw, Yukari unleashed a fireball, but with a quick re-adjustment of her movements, Kadru blocked the blast with one of the two hammers, an explosion momentarily blocking either opponent from view. Before Yukari could fire off a second blast, the black and scarlet dragon came hurtling through the flames as if a phoenix, still spinning about like a professional dancer. It was a sight rarely seen at the UCA; combat blended with art and beauty. Now within range, the heavy weights proceeded to clobber Yukari multiple times, their flowing twirls unceasing in their assault. Each blow was rewarded with a splatter of blood and crushed armor. Before long, the weapons swung away, Kadru following up her high-speed combo by looping up close and delivering a sort of side kick with her right hind leg, sending the bruised and battered body of her opponent hurtling into the pavement below.
Finally slowing her body and meteor hammer to a stand still, Kadru hovered close to the ground, only one hundred meters away from the Gap Hag. “You are many things, blint,” she hissed, her eyes alight with blue flame. “And a fool is one of them. You dare to possess Crigan’s body. You dare to send his soul away to some hell-hole. And after all that, you have the audacity to try to attack me!” Kadru snarled. Her tails began to swing one end of the meteor hammer about, gathering speed and momentum. “I believe you have rightfully earned yourself a death sentence for your stupidity… hag!”
The meteor hammer snapped high into the air, before Kadru slammed into down at a vertical angle. The heavy weight impacted with the possessed Crigan’s skull, throwing the worm to the dirt once again as the hammer whipped about the dragon for a second attack. Again the hammer was thrown out, this time the chain wrapping its length about Yukari’s possessed body and neck. Still stunned by the previous blow, she was helpless to resist as Kadru pulled the chain tight with her tails, squeezing the demon’s very life out of her. Armor cracked and splintered around the chain, every gasp of pain only tightened the hold. Right where she wanted her opponant, Kadru’s crest began to glow red, preparing to fire a column of hellfire at her trapped prey…

Caught within the chains of the dragon's grasp, Yukari struggled, as if all too aware of the fact that she was about to get roasted alive. The dragon's crest glowed brightly, signaling the oncoming hellfire...
And then, it faded away, and Kadru gasped out in pain at the same time. The chain's grip on Crigan's hijacked body lessened, and the Gap Hag in command slipped free. 2 shadowy tentacles were impaled in Kadru's side, the blood of the demon dripping down from the puncture wounds as the tentacles slipped out. Shocked and stunned by the pain and the attack, Kadru staggered back.
" Well child, that was downright rude." Yukari commented as she wiped some blood from the corner of Crigan's mouth. "I hate to inform you, but-"
Whatever it was that Yukari was gonna say, was cut short as a recharged Hellfire beam tore into her from the front, and sent her flying into the ground, a cloud of dust and debris rising up from the impact site. Kadru glared down as the Hag in Crigan's body rose up, burns and scratch marks newly added adorning the body. "Now THAT, was even ruder. Didn't your parents ever tell you not to interrupt your superior when they were speaking?" Yukari demanded, her own purple eyes flaring. "I guess I'm gonna have to teach you some manners."
And at that, The Hag in charge vanished into thin air. Kadru was cautious, and with meteor hammer whirling, was ready to strike out...
The attack came from behind several moments later.
Sharp claws tore into the sides of the demon, catching her off-guard. Kadru was helpless as Yukari gripped her tight, and then began to drag her across the ground. With Crigan's body, it was easy, the possessed legendary keeping the dragon's face pushed into the ground as her body was wrecked and ravaged by the debris along the street. Faster and faster Yukari moved, picking up speed as she headed straight toward a building... and then, at the last second, she let go, sending the sliding body of Kadru right into the base. The collision shook the building, and cascades of shattered glass came down upon Kadru's body. A moment passed, and then two. Slowly, the demon got herself up as Yukari watched. Her body was now adorned with blood and wounds everywhere. chunks of rock, glass, and metal were ebmedded in, and the holes Crigan's claws had caused were grisly even to look at. Starring down at the bruised and bleeding dragon, Yukari laughed.
"As I was saying before you so rudely interrupted me, no matter what you do, your not hurting me, your hurting Crigan's body. I can quite easilly prevent him from using those regenrative tanks if you keep up the damage like this... So what's it gonna be,whelp? Will you continue to fight, and give Crigan a potentially life-threatening injury, or will you give in, and apologize for all the nasty things you said about me? If you do, I promise I will return his soul back to his body..." The Boundary Manipulator asked, the purple in her eyes shining brightly, before she plummeted down. Kadru tried to dodge, but Yukari was quick to adjust her aim, so she nailed Kadru in the stomach with a headbutt. The air was knocked out of the demon's lungs as she was pressed back against the building, the helmet of Crigan digging into her skin. As Yukari drifted back, a sphere of raw energy began to form infront of her, ready to be launched right at Kadru...
