Parakappa Ship DF303 comes to hover over just a small piece of the large land stretch. In the cockpit, the Parakappas at consoles flick switches, push some buttons, enter in some number sequences, as is routine. Completion comes in the form of the heavy noise emitted as the doors to the bottom of the ship open. Catylus comes to the edge, her collar popping off along the way, and extends her body downwards. Once her front paws touch the ground, she pulls her back quarters and retracts the length. Now, she stands on the battlefield, ready to fight whatever is thrown her way as per the arrangement the Parakappas made with the UCA for this fight for the armadillo lizard fusion animal.

In a flash of light, one of the UCA's newest acquisitions was teleported to the field of battle. The massive robotic kangaroo, known in some circles as Big Jack, quickly reared up to his full height and surveyed the surroundings. When he first laid eyes on Catylus though, he quickly returned to his usual hunched over posture.
"Crikey, but yer an odd one! Looks like it's time to bust out me old hammer and see what it takes to crack you open."
And with that, Jack's electric jackhammer thundered to life as he prepared to engage and defeat Catylus.
"Don't roll over and die now. We gotta make this look good."

Not sure if this can be a factor because it's not in the profile but I could've sworn I put it...but I've always intended Catylus' plasma attacks to be of some supernatural property, via the extraterrestrial route. Against a mech's protection against thermal damage, I pictured it doing something to the armor; not a whole lot like usual, but something. I'm not sure/I'm hoping that since it's always been imagined for my concept of Catylus, that the theory can be maintained, if that's okay with you Omega and our ref, but I guess we'll see.

Catylus, a kaiju who's always in a sour mood, hisses at her talkative opponent. Big Jack is a mecha with a personality, with a "ghost in the machine," loosely put. Catylus is reminded of her brethren, the Parakappa bioweapons with personalities along with metal implants, some heavily twisted with Parakappa brand alloy. It's a very loose reminder of the other specimens, however, because at the most, they're cyborgs, not full-on sentient like Big Jack. Anyways, Catylus is prepared to inject her temper into her prominent impact weapons, such as her size-adjustable mace tail, and batter the Australian autonomous machine.
Catylus' scythe arms are out and taking turns sliding one's blade against the other as she patiently prowls forward, each leg taking a slow step forward. The mantis arms create the eerie sound of steel sliding against steel. Big Jack's audio receptors pick up the sound, leading the titanium titan to conclude that Catylus is on the attack, prompting him to go on the defensive. Catylus gallops towards her tall target. At a point in front of Jack, the bitch-armadillo lizard back flips in her own way; as her body lifts and her back bends, the extending length arcs over Jack. Her feet push against the ground once they land, and her torso retracts. Following her hands then landing towards her right side, she swings her loose torso around, which stretches like elastic. The lands she did in a row were for her attack's execution. Now, as her length whips around, it swings and slams the full-grown tail into Jack's chest, momentum having been built up from Catylus swinging both ends up until the moment she swung her tail to impact. The mace-like appendage strikes with the mentioned additional force, crashing such a solid limb (solid spikes and all) into the hull, causing vibrations throughout the breast and a heavy sounding thud. Big Jack suffers scrapes against his hull because of the tail's edges' impact, blemeshing the previously spotless alloy.
Thankfully for Big Jack, he has been outfitted with his specific legs and tail; he stays balanced during and after Catylus' strong strike. The original Parakappa chimera materializes two 250 meter long length manacles with dense spheres proportioned to kaiju bowling balls from her orifice. Catylus rears her head towards the right, swinging the plasma objects back there. She follows up by bringing her head sharply towards the opposite direction, swinging her active attack attack and battering the dented chest with the strange, foreign plasma that's very solid as orbs. Catylus hears the material be damaged under duress; the weapons made of Catylus' custom Parakappa plasma disappear like gas after striking, and sensitivity lightly occupies that quadrant of the chest. Catylus huffs at the completion of her attack and towards Big Jack o'er there.
Catylus' tail has since shrunken down back to normal. Big Jack takes his turn to go on the offense by performing an attack reminiscent of one of Catylus' fellow bioweapons, Rhyvox. The right fist disembarks from its base and travels towards Catylus, striking her in the back, in a flat spot of armor between spikes. Her exoskeleton-like layer crunches from the hard hit, and after the connected attack, the arm retracts back into the wrist. The stricken part of armor had not cracked, but the shell definitely took damage from the rocket-propelled punch. So hard is the punch, that it sends tremors under Catylus' armor; she feels it inside her body. The resulting pain adds to Parakappa Specimen 303's sour puss. Catylus responds by getting right up in Jack's person and jabbing the actively spinning tail (spinning fast) into the left thigh. Sparks shower from the hard organic drill battling the thick armor. At first, her drill just shreds off pain and strings of iron, but she keeps up with it, managing to crack the armor. Big Jack prepares to attack in order to ward Catylus off, but she steps back before he can have the chance.
The mech announces, "Cheeky liddle buggah!"
Sparks of heat pop from the damaged section of the surface, cracked and warped. Big Jack is difficult to damage, but she's managed to inflict enough of it to count in this match, to have a chance still. Catylus lobs a plasma orb at the feet of Big Jack. Once it strikes, it explodes into a hurricane of heat. Catylus is hoping that her plasma of Parakappa properties does something to Big Jack...

(OOC: Big Jack is only highly resistant to thermal stress, not immune. He would likely take no damage from, say, Godzilla's heat ray, but a 60,000 degree plasma blast will at least hurt him)
Jack springs forward, leaping over the blast, even as the sheer heat of it of it warps armor from some distance away. But Catylus is too busy attempting to avoid the massive robotic kangaroo that she doesn't even notice, as she backpeddles to avoid being crushed. Although her initial effort is successful, she soon finds herself facing down the barrel of one of Jack's cannons. A thunderous roar shakes the battlefield as the hyper-accelerated projectile slams into Catylus' torso, sending the hybrid flying with a nasty impact crater in her chest. Her body stretches like a slinky as she lands on her head before collapsing to its usual shortened length.
"Oy, that's fer scratching me paint job! And this," he said as he leapt into the air again before landing directly in front of the hybrid, "is just because."
And with that, Jack jammed the steadily thumping head of his jackhammer into Catylus' back. Armor plating splintered under the assault as Catylus jerked from the vibrations. Chunks of her armor plating were flying everywhere, when she counter-attacked by whipping her tail into Jack's face. The hardened bones and spikes dented the machine's chassis, and had the added bonus of forcing Jack backwards. But Jack merely rolled with the blow, bringing his rather large feet to bear.
"You know what they say about guys with large feet? They kick really hard," he said as he lashed out, striking Catylus with the force of a 50,000 ton object traveling at Mach 1. The reptilian hybrid wheezed as the air was knocked out of her before she went sailing across the desert hard pan before skidding to a halt several hundred meters away, a rough trench leading Jack to her location. The reptilian beast was bruised and battered, but alive, as Jack's visual sensors could confirm.
"Time to bring the thunder," he said to no one in particular as he leveled his shoulder mounted guns again. Twin lasers made a path between him and the hybrid as a the building hum of electricity gathered at the focal points before discharging down the path created by the lasers, aimed right at Catylus...

I know nothing about plasma admittedly, so your news is news to me. And good news.
"Yuh liddle buggah! Yew remoind me of an outback crittuh yew lizahd yew!"
Catylus has a flared temper from the pile of damage her body has just acquisitioned. Big Jack's jackhammer is an effective tool at breaching her body's natural crust, just like her tail's drill function against targets, Jack's hull being an example. It's imperative that the bad attitude reptile do something in the face of the looming electro-shock. After sending the authorizing impulses from her brain, her body charges up its cryptic electricity, designed to nullify electrical attacks short of esoteric. The twin jolting javelins attack Catylus' shoulders. They deliver a slight initial shock, heating up her shoulder's pads just a bit. This is because Catylus commanded her countermeasure to kick in so abruptly, had there been more time given to charge, it could have completely nullified Jack's attack. The peach color surge interacts with Jack's electricity and disengages it after a few seconds.
Catylus grunts at Jack's attack, her defense mechanism disengaging from activity just after Jack the Mecha-Kangaroo's shoulder cannons' lines of ionized air disappear. Catylus opens her mouth to roar, a sound like Baragon's roar and Manda's hiss from the movie Destroy All Monsters combined together. Catylus' heat beam follows after the roar. The plasma splashes across Jack's left shoulder from the joint while it welds with its heat. The armor cracks and expands under the plasma's temperature. Jack counters with his rocket fist sent Catylus' way, something he knows the armadillo lizard fusion beast can avoid, and she does- but at the cost of her attack. Catylus' mouth closes and she rotates around with her expanded tail. She hits the fist away, not to cause damage but to deflect.
Big Jack looks at his arm joint and shoulder to assess damages. He moves the limb around, breaking apart parts of steel that have welded together. The collection of metal chips fall to the ground accordingly. The afflicted part of his person has a black scorch mark, but overall it passes in terms of functionality. Catylus gallops like a horse over to Jack, coming to a stop when she's ready to turn and strike the arm joint with her massive tail tip. The force of the strike dents and shakes the targeted area-the joint and the shoulder-and the bony spikes tear into armor sensitized by heat.
"Whoah," announces Jack.
Catylus leaves her growths inside the armor for two seconds, then rips them away, creating a forced opening with sharp, warped edges along the rim of the gap. Sparks come from the breach in armor, but internal fire suppression kick into action over the raised temperature of the exposed circuitry. Catylus performs one more tail whip, scraping the multitude of thorns against the dent in the chest hard, the edges scratch through a layer of the external steel. Electricity travels across the mauled chest, but the current is shut off quickly.
While her back is to her opponent, Catylus rears her lower quarters up in a bid to slam her muscular little legs into the torso; if its the weak chest spot, great, but if its anywhere else, the least damage it'll incur is a pair of deep dents...

Again, Jack took the hit to the torso. Although it further damaged the armor plating, it once more brought hit feet to bear as he delivered another Megaton Kick to Catylus' back. The hybrid made a satisfying crunch as she was kicked away, skidding face first across the desert floor. Her elastic body was helping her immensely, as it prevented these powerful kicks from breaking bones like they usually did. Catylus didn't know that though. All she knew was that she hurt all over, when the skies overhead darkened. She twisted to see why, then screeched in terror as Jack landed on top of her, crushing her bulk beneath his own. As he landed, shockwave generators in his feet activated, slamming Catylus with the vibrations and cratering the ground around them.
"Ace! Whatever made yew was a might bodgy, eh? Never seen a more stretchy lizard."
Catylus was beginning to stir once more, apparently having recovered sufficiently to do so, when a rocket assisted punch slammed into the side of her head, snapping her neck back from the force of the impact. Blood trickled from her nose as she spat out a tooth before snarling at Jack.
"Bonza! I was hopin' yew'd have more of a fight in ya!"
And with that, Jack leveled his guns again, ready to make Catylus hurt all over again...

When Catylus failed to arise and continue to fight, Big Jack snorted in derision as he hopped towards the teleporter.
"And I wanted a real challenge," he said, as he disappeared into the flash of light.
