(Here goes nothing)
With a flash of light, Jake appeared! He gave a cry of surprise, scanning his new surroundings. These things looked like the things from before, the things that he would take his anger out on.
Jake started walking forward, eyeing the buildings suspiciously. Something wasn't right here, he had the strangest feeling of being watched...

As Jake surveyed his surroundings, he witnessed a second column of light fall from the heavens. When the brightness dissipated, he observed a strange sight. There, hovering a few hundred feet off the ground, was a tiny, emaciated creature. It's body was curled into a fetal position and its eyes, all four of them, were shut. He could hear it's ragged breathing from a good distance off. This creature seemed entirely harmless to him.
Yet...he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off here. He still felt like he was being watched, like this thing in front of him was still observing him, despite having its eyes closed. His gut told him something was wrong. He just had no idea how wrong things were.
Xenith had been in the middle of crushing the human opposition for his masters, when he had been enveloped a strange energy. His ESP told him he was not in the same place he had been before, and that the only living thing within range was this armored monster. He could only assume that this...Jake, was somehow responsible. He would need to probe the dragon's mind for further information. Then, he would destroy this thing and return home. He waited to see what Jake would do, and would respond accordingly...

MONSTERS.... FIGHT!

Jake growled at the bizarre creature, attempting to intimidate it. When no response came, he let out a roar, trying to get the thing to react in some way. When it did nothing but float and psychically observe him, Jake got angry. His confusion at the situation drained away as his rage quickly replaced it.
The armored dragon launched himself forward, claws flexing, ready to tear this ignorant thing apart. As soon as he was close enough, he lashed out with his claw, aiming for the things chest. To his surprise, his hand slowed and came to almost a complete stop before he even hit it. He withdrew his hand, confused, but undeterred. He lashed out again with his second hand, but again barely grazed the things skin. With a cry of frustration, he spun around, wiping his tail at it. This time however he connected. The blade on the tip of his tail, moving much faster than both his claws, kept enough of it's force to leave a wound across Xenith's chest.
In retaliation, Xenith sent a blast of telekinetic energy into Jake's chest, sending the dragon flying into a building. As he flew back, Jake opened his mouth and let loose a stream of flames...

As the flames shot towards Xenith, the floating reptile wheezed slightly as they parted ways around him before coalescing into a sphere of roiling flame which began to orbit the telekinetic beast. Jake stared in disbelief. This thing could manipulate his flames too? This disbelief turned to pain as Xenith hurled the flaming sphere at the dragon, the flames exploding across his armored chest, melting away at the metal plating. The flames seemed to work exceptionally well against the dragon's armor. Xenith decided that he would need to determine why this was the case, and whether or not it would work again in the future. To do that...
Jake staggered a little from the burning of the flames, but was still relatively ok. Xenith just sat there, floating, as if daring him to strike back, something which the dragon was more than willing to do. But then, he felt something, a presence at the back of his mind. That presence turned into a searing agony as thoughts, feelings and memories all crashed through his mind at the same time. His brain felt like it was on fire, as every neuron fired at once. The information overload was too much as he collapsed to the ground, screaming in agony, blood flowing from his nostrils and ears in rivers. Instinctively, the dragon loosed a searing gout of flame from his maw, right at Xenith.
Xenith, who was too busy sorting through the jumble of thoughts and memories, could not devote his entire focus to defending against the attack, as the flames hit his shield and began to sear his flesh on the other side as the heat leaked through. But Xenith made no noise, no matter how much he hurt. His vocal cords had long since atrophied from disuse. No matter though, he had learned what he needed from Jake. As the dragon struggled to rise, he suddenly felt his whole body being lifted off the ground before Xenith telekinetically threw him into the nearest building, shattering one side of the structure into hundreds of fragments as Jake collapsed to the pavement below.
As Jake tried to rise once more, Xenith began to levitate all the fragments into the air, before launching them at Jake, like a kaiju-sized machine gun firing bullets of concrete and steel...

The debris bombarded Jake, causing him to cry out in pain when they hit his, now melted, armor covered chest. The pain, nowhere near as bad as the mental assault, jolted his hazy mind back to awareness.
In a rage, Jake jumped off the ground and charged. He released a stream if flames as he went, which Xenith easily bent and reformed into a fireball of his own. As he hurled the attack, aiming for Jake's already injured chest, Jake leapt into the air, his powerful wings bringing him out of harms way. However, the fireball slammed into his tail, peeling off the light armor it had, and searing the skin beneath.
Jake lifted himself higher into the air, clawing at buildings as he went, dropping debris down on top of Xenith, who stopped it all before it could even touch him. Finally making it to the top of a building, he ripped a huge chunk of the roof off, and hurled it down at Xenit. The huge piece of the building was stopped just like the ithers, but just barely. Everything he had stopped floated just above his head. Seeing his opportunity, Jake snapoed his wings shut, tucking them against his body and shooting straight down towards his opponent...

(Just a reminder, you only need to take one hit during your posts. It's also fully possible to hurt Xenith, he just doesn't take as much damage due to the dampener field.)
The building fragments levitated in place as Xenith held them away from his body. But with his focus divided, Xenith had trouble blocking Jake's drop strike, as the dragon slammed into his shield and slowly penetrated towards the alien psychic, his talons drawing bloody lines across Xenith's chest as he descended. But the psychic monster made no noise as Jake dropped to the street below, his wheezing breath the only sounds that escaped his body as he levitated skyward, trailing concrete fragments with him.
Jake angrily pursued the monster, taking flight as he prepared to unleash another gout of searing flame. Xenith needed to buy a little time, as he ripped the flames away from his body before redirecting them back at Jake. The flames washed over his body, melting armor and searing flesh as Jake spiraled away in an attempt to avoid being hit again. Xenith consulted the memories he had obtained from this...Jake, and decided a little trickery would be necessary.
As Jake headed back towards Xenith, the two flying over the tops of buildings, the world around him faded to blackness. He was confused for a moment, before confusion gave way to terror as terrible versions of the people responsible for his current state assaulted him from all angles, towering over him like malign colossi, cutting him with their knives and scalpels and saws, peering into his insides. He felt like the world was falling away as more and more cuts opened all over his body, before a resounding thud shook him back to his senses. He came to in the middle of the street, the ground cratered from his impact. It had all been some sort of horrible nightmare...or so he thought. The wounds were still there, sliced into his arms, legs and belly. His blood was spattered across the ground.
But all that seemed to matter little now, as the sky suddenly grew dark. Jake looked up, his jaw dropping in disbelief as Xenith appeared overhead, levitating a small office building with his mind, which he promptly dropped right at the prone form of Jake...

(I'm aware, just figured that most of Jake's attacks were ill suited against Xenith's ability to protect himself, especially the debris. Sorry for the late reply too, been moving so getting enough time to do this can be difficult.)
Jake scrambled to get away, rolling onto his hands and knees and crawling as fast as he could. But he was nowhere near fast enough. The building slammed down on top of him, pinning him down to the ground, and preventing him from moving. Xenith hovered above the pile, observing, waiting to see if his opponent was down. Nothing seemed to happen for a few minutes, and Xenith was readying to probe the pile with his mind, when it began to shift. The rubble was slowly lighting up, heat coming from underneath, but unable to escape.
Jake was not going to die here! This thing had assaulted him with those images, forces him to relive the very thing that had driven him! That was a mistake. While undoubtedly horrifying, and excruciatingly painful, it served as a reminder of what had been done to him, of what made him what he was, and now it would feel his wrath!
Sensing Jake atirring beneath, Xenith applied pressure onto the pile, attempting to crush what life remained in the giant reptile. But he was toi late, for the heat already building up was too much to stop now, and the pile exploded! Jake rose from amongst the flames, blood, concrete, steel and his armor flying off. Jake glared at the floating abomination, the look in his eye's quite clear. He would MAKE him scream in pain. Jake lunged after Xenith, moving much fasyer than before, snapping his wings open and taking flight. Xenith moved through the air with a burst of speed of his own, but he didn't make it out if the way in time, and Jake's wing sliced across his side.
Jake kept going, looping around a building and coming back at Xenith, unleashing a gout of flames. Xenith caught them, flinging them back at the source. Knowing what ti expect this time, Jake swooped down, the ball of fire passing harmlessly over him. But as he did Xenith sent a blast of psychic energy into Jake's back, sending the reptile plummetting to the ground. Jake slammed down, rolling across the ground, but using his wings to stop himself he quickly stood up, for a moment, dizzy from the pain going through his body, but he shook it off and spotted Xenith.
Jake took a deep breath, gathering his fire in his belly, readying his moat devastating attack. He flapped his wings, throwing debris everywhere, trying to keep Xenith in one spot for just a,noment, before unleashing a massive fireball from his maw that sped towards Xenith...

As Xenith moved the incoming debris around him, Jake unleashed his massive fireball, the flaming projectile speeding right towards as is slammed into his shield, dissipating along the outer edges as the heat burned the flesh of the alien mutant on the other side. A sharp intake of breath was the only indication Xenith gave that he'd been hurt at all, despite the numerous burns covering his body now. Something about being brought here had disrupted his ability to multitask properly, a thought that was distressing but would be addressed later. Now though, the dragon needed to die.
As Jake winged right at Xenith, he suddenly felt his body seize up as he froze in midair. He could do no more than watch as his body was suddenly inverted as Xenith threw him into the ground, some hundreds of feet below, the impact shattering concrete as Jake's head was forced into the ground. The fun didn't stop there, as a limp and dazed Jake was lifted off the ground again before being spun in an arc and smashing through several nearby buildings before finally being lodged in a skyscraper.
Jake had no reprieve though, as several rapid telekinetic hammer blows smashed him into the side of the building before finally forcing him out the other side. As his body tumbled to the ground, Xenith crushed the supports on the damaged section of the structure, sending the entire thing toppling right at Jake...

Jake spread his wings, managing to steady himself just befoere he hit the ground. He sent a glare towards Xenith...then gaped when he saw the whole building coming down at him. He looked around frantically, trying to find a way to escape before he was crushed, once again, by the weight of one of these abnormally large buildings.
Seeing no way he could go to get out of the way in time, he flew up towards the building, through the hole he had made going through it! Clawing his way through as he went, he jumped out the other side just before it hit the ground. He ascended once more, scanning for Xenith once more. His search was answered when he was slammed in the side, throwing him into another building. Catching a glimpse of the psychic monster, Jake quickly pulled himself out of the side of the building, kicking off it to gain a burst of speed.
In a frenzy he launched himself at Xenith, who was surprised by Jake's sudden rebound. He lashed out with his claws, raking them across it's skin, despite their weakened strength. Getting as close to Xenith as he could without being repelled by the barrier, Jake lashed out with his tail, stabbing it forward in an almost scorpion-like manuever. The blade dug into Xenith's side, but despite the pain it still had no reaction to it. Before he could strike again, a blast of paychix force slammed into Jake's chest, throwing him back. He cried out as he felt something crack inside his chest, but he would not be deterred! He flew up above Xenith, going up as fast as he could, then coming down just as fast. Xenith would not be a sitting duck however and with astonishing speed, moved out of the way of Jake's blade like wing which had been prepared to slash him open.
Jake shot back up once again, chasing after Xenith as he went. While armored, Jake would have had no chance of catching up to the psychic monster, but unarmored he caught up to it from behind, and bit doen onto the tip of it's tail. Flapping his wings in reverse, Jake stopped the escape, and with a mighty pull, attempted to throw Xenith into one of the buildings, just as had been done to him...
(Sorry for the late reply. Things have been kind of hectic lately.)

Xenith traveled for a short distance, before he slowed his speed and hovered to a halt mere inches from the surface of the building. He hovered there for a moment as Jake, furious that his attack didn't seem to work, spat a number of fireballs at the telekinetic beast. Xenith deflected a few of them, but some got through, the heat still burning at his flesh, even as the flames dissipated around his body. As Jake performed an aerial charge, his world was once again subsumed by blackness, as those horrifying titans from his past appeared again, assaulting him from all sides with their cutting instruments, poking and prying into his insides. But Jake, who suspected trickery, fought past the illusions and broke his mental paralysis, just in time to keep himself from slamming into the building he had been barreling towards. His body still ached from trauma inflicted upon his body by these illusions. To make matters worse, his opponent was nowhere to be found. He was too high up to have a building dropped on to his head again.
Jake winged his way across the city as Xenith, who was currently camouflaged with yet another illusion, observed. This strange new world was taking a toll on his powers. Normally, he would have torn Jake limb from limb and moved on, but he seemed weaker somehow. He would need to press the assault though, if he was to destroy Jake and move on from this bizarre world. As Jake winged his way back over the city, Xenith struck, dropping his illusion as he hammered Jake with a plane of telekinetic force, the blow smashing the dragon into the side of a skyscraper. As the dragon fell, Xenith focused that same force into a narrow blade, as he slashed into Jake's back, eliciting another howl of pain and a gout of blood.
Xenith slashed at Jake again as the dragon plummeted to the ground, before preparing to deliver another blow to complete the dragon's crash into the pavement below...
