In a blinding flash of light, a large, monstrous form appeared on a tropical paradise. Eyes aching from the unexpected brightness of the telepor-whatever, Ketos made a mental note to close his eyes next time, hissing vulgarities to himself.
"Damn human contraption..."
Rubbing his eyes, Ketos lashed his tail to and fro in irritation. He was surprised when it met the surface of water with a light splash. Grunting the dragon finally took a good look at his surroundings. He was on an island. Beautiful, white beach stretched all the way around the landmass, the interior a lush, healthy green. And the sea... it was a deep blue and practically endless. Several more islands dotted the water in eye's view. Well, his eye's view. Being a dragon, his eyes were naturally much keener than that of many other creatures, humans certainly included. A toothy grin found its way to Ketos's saurian head. With all this water around, his was at an immediate advantage. Not only could he use the ocean as a base for defense and attack, but his most powerful abilities relied on the presence of water. There was no why he could loose!
Letting out a boisterous, hacking laugh, the sea monster dropped to his hindquarters lazily and waited for whatever creature was foolish enough to challenge him appear. Meanwhile, he could get back to thinking over Alex-Something's riddle...

((OOC:Yeah, Arch is fine. I just never got around to posting.))
Cerulean was teleported in, much like she had been when she was first brought to this place. The water spread out for seemingly an etenrnity, just the way she liked it. While it was perhaps a little warm to suit her, she would manage. And there, sitting on the shore, was that damned windbag. He hadn't noticed her yet, but he would soon. She sat back on the surface of the water, her precense creating nary a ripple, as she telekinteically surged water at the beast.
Ketos growled in surprise as a wave rose up and drenched him, drawing his attention towards the other dragon. Cerulean snarled at him and waited from her perch. Let him make the first move, for she would make the last...

Ketos hissed in irritation. How dare this , this... pest do such a thing to him! The ancient sea dragon was about to fling himself in to attack, but he realized something rather unusual.
His foe was another dragon. And she was sitting on the surface of the water.
That wasn't normal.
Casting a curious gaze at Cerulean, Ketos clawed at the sand. He had always though of himself as the last dragon, the sole survivor of a mighty race. Certainly the last water dragon. But there was something... off about the beast before him. She seemed different from the dragons he had met in the distant past. With a quick sniff, Ketos confirmed that her scent was much different from his own. Odd. Whatever the case, he wouldn't let her get away lightly with her despicable act of wetting him with her flashy little tricks. He would show her the true power of the ocean!
The evil glow of hia naturally narrowed eyes intensifying, Ketos summoned a great wave from the ocean depths. The towering wall of water swept up from behind Cerulean, catching the elegant creature off guard. Overtaken by the powerful surge, she was pushed towards Ketos, too occupied trying to stay atop the water to notice him open his maw wide. A great gush of boiling water roared from the marine tyrant's jaws. The jet of steaming water slammed into the other dragon, breaking her hydrokinesis and sending her toppling into the sea. The heat didn't do much to the temperature-resistant war veteran, but the raw force was just punishing.
Ketos allowed himself a quick laugh and dove in after her. The arrogant giant cut through the water like a demonic crocodile, shark-like tail swiftly propelling him toward his target. Just as Cerulean surfaced, gasping in hot fury, Ketos took a massive swipe at her, catching her slender jaw with a loud crack! The more delicate dragon was thrown to the side, a bit of blood staining the pure blue of the sea. Submerging and darting under his foe, Ketos rushed upwards. Cerulean, forced on his broad shoulders, was thrown in into the air as the sea monster broke the surface. Flashing his spear-like teeth in a nasty grin, Ketos swung around, heavy tail whipping out and swatting Cerulean down with a great whap! The engineered bio-weapon hit the water with a splash and a yelp. Chuckling darkly to himself, Ketos charged forward with one sweep of his tail and lunged at the dragoness, mouth snapping open to chimp down on her serpentine neck...
(Crap, forgot there are supposed to be three connecting attacks.)

Even as Ketos closed in, a wlal of water rose between the two of them. But such a thing would never have stopped Ketos, if it weren't for the fact that the water rapidly turned into ice right before his eyes. With a sickening crack, Ketos rammed into the wall of super-compacted ice, stunning him for a moment, but doing little, if any actual damage. However, it did offer Cerulean a reprieve.
She mused for a moment on the fact that this monster could also control water. But then again, so could she. Physically, she was weaker. Mentally though...
Ketos screeched in rage and was rapidly silenced as the water embraced him once more. But instead of freezing solid, it began to crush him, forcing its way into the pores of his skin, his ears, his eyes...his mouth. The water crushed him in a metaphorical bearhug, squeezing him to death even as it drowned him. And all the while, Cerulean just sat and watched, one hand clenched in a fist. But Ketos would not go down so easily. His own abiliy to manipulate water was what saved him, as he managed to forcefully break his bonds, all the while expelling a gout of pressurized water back at Cerulean, catching her off guard and knocking her back with a big bruise on her chest.
As the two dragons sank beneath the churning sea, Cerulean rapidly swam up to Ketos, her incredible underwater speed allowing her to gain the upper hand, as icy armor formed all over her body, before culminating in a massive spiked helmet, which promprly shattered upon contact with Ketos, driving massive ice slivers into his armored chest. Cerulean quickly reversed course, using her speed and hydrokinesis to keep out of Keto's reach, as she mentally drove those shards deeper into his flesh, twisting them, growing them, making them harder to remove. Ketos screeched in agony, the sound muffled in the water as a jet of bubbles and blood escaped his maw.
Cerulean was amused. Here was another creature, like her in so many ways, yet one that was completely at the mercy of the ocean, and, by extension, her own will, a she began to weave another coccoon of water around Ketos, hoping to finish him quickly...

As the death trap of seawater closed in around him and threatened to crush the life out of him, Ketos stopped struggling. Instead, he focused a sharp glare at his foe, eyes growing dark with rage. Even as blood began leaking from his mouth and nose due to the intense pressure, the sea dragon's death stare didn't relent. Body trembling with fury, an overwhelming power took over him, pure, primal instinct now in total command. Cerulean's eyes were mocking him, laughing at him.
No one laughs at him.
With a might jet of bubbles escaping his jaws in a silent roar of anger, the berserk sea monster broke Cerulean's aquatic bond with a sweep of his claws. The powerful pulse of water continued, pushing the dragoness herself back violently. Rushing through the water like a shark caught in a blood-frenzy, Ketos wrapped his claws around her throat. He thrust his great head forward and bit into Cerulean's shoulder, a large, crimson cloud billowing into the churning water. Angling himself- and Cerulean- downward, Ketos sped towards the seabed. Rapidly closing the distance, the modern-day leviathan slammed into the rocky ocean bottom, Cerulean absorbing the brunt of the blow.
Releasing the bruised bio-weapon, Ketos lifted off the seabed by driving both his clawed feet into his fellow hydrokinetic's gut. As he pushed off, a thin, vaporous stream of blood ran from Cerulean's gaping maw as she arched her spine in pain. Coming to a comfortable float a good ways above the engineered beast, the sea dragon gathered his strength. Willing the water around him into motion, the great monster created a whirlpool, moving it directly over his she-dragon adversary. The inescapable vortex of water gripped Cerulean in its influence, sucking the writhing dragoness into it. As she became trapped in its circular current, large rocks that had been ripped from the ocean bottom pelted her body, shattering most of her ice armor and reaching her unprotected hide. From his viewpoint on the outside of the whirlpool, Ketos noticed the undersea tempest take on a very light shade of red and couldn't help but smirk.
His rage fading, the amphibious titan was forced to stop, the effort draining him. Cerulean's earlier attacks did nothing to help his exhaustion. He could still taste blood in his throat and nostrils. The she-dragon was skilled. Even a beast as arrogant and self-centered as Ketos had to admit that. Her manipulation of water far outmatched his own. But, from centuries of conquest over other sea monsters, he had learned that the proper application of brute force could solve almost anything.
Eyes flashing, Ketos send a blast of super-heated water towards Cerulean as she became visible through the silt...

"WARNING! UNFAIR COMBAT BEHAVIOR DETECTED BY COMBATANT: KETOS!"
Fired from launchers hidden within the seafloor itself, a dozen huge torpedoes slam into Ketos and detonate, the blasts battering his body and interrupting his attack.

Cerulean warped the incoming water around her, creating a zone of calm around her. Fortunately, she didn't have to hold it for long, as Ketos was blasted by the arena weapons for some infraction or another. She understood there were rules to this "game". Not hitting your opponent while they were distracted was not one of them. With that thought in mind, Cerulean surged out of the water, bursting forth from the surface and spreading her wings wide, before hovering over the surface of the water.
Ketos was there, readily visible, still searching for his oppoennt, when he felt the cold embrace of the water again, this time as it formed a massive guyser to propel him out of the water and into Cerulean's face, where a pair of super-compacted icicles waited for him. Cerulean slammed her makeshift weapons into the other dragon's gut, before breaking them off which a twist fo her wrists. Ketos howled in rage and agony, trying in vain to strike back, as Cerulean threw him into the air, before turning her freezer beam on the water below, turning into into a sheet of ice several feet thick. Ketos slammed into it on the way down with a thunderous crack as he smashed into the ice. Blood oozed from his maw as he slowly picked himself off the ice.
Cerulean circled in low, sure she had bested him this time, when Ketos stared at her with his glowing eyes. Unphased by his resiliancy, Cerulean just stared back. This proved to be a mistake, as she felt her body go limp for what couldn't have been longer than a moment, but felt like an eternity, as Ketos picked himself up off the ice sheet and leapt at her, raking and biting with hsi fangs and talons as the two crashed into the ocean again. Cerulean managed to regain control of her senses as she was being pummeled on the bottom on the sea. Clearly, there was more to this Ketos than initially anticipated.
Cerluean fought back by blasting Ketos in the face with her freezer beam, giving her a chance to escape as she generated more ice to stab him with...

(Sorry, my bad.)
As he easily clawed off the thin sheet of ice that the sub-zero beam had created over his face, Ketos took a moment to gloat.
"Do you truly think you can beat me? Fighting just isn't for such a pretty crea- OW!"
Cerulean had stabbed down with her icicles as he was in mid-sentence, one plunging into his shoulder and the other into his chest. A roar of pain and outrage tore from Keto's bloodied jaws. Cerulean easily danced out of the way of a wild swipe from his claws. The furious beast flew into a rage, thrashing about blindly and cursing to himself. As if the humans trying to impose their pathetic rules on him wasn't bad enough.
"Ow, ow, ow! That hurt, you icy wretch! You'll die for that!"
Lunging forward, Ketos manged to catch one of Cerulean's wings in his grasp. Spinning around with a twist of his tail, he hurled her out of the water and towards the beach. She bounced off the ice she herself had created several times, each hit hard on her elegant body. Finally, she landed in the surf, just a few meters from the shore. Ketos paused for just a moment to remove the melting blades of ice from his body. Then, eyes flashing, he summoned a wall of water from directly beneath him, destroying Cerulean's ice. Riding on top of the great wave like a giant, draconic surfer, he made a rapid approach on his foe. As the wave crashed onto the beach, he landed heavily atop Cerulean. The pinned she-dragon struggled, trying to squirm out from under Ketos's girth. Smiling maliciously, the Tyrant of the Seas loosed a column of boiling water from his maw. The powerful stream slammed into Cerulean's face and pounded down brutally, forcing her head into the gritty sand. The barrage of water stopped, Ketos too busy grinning broadly and giggling to continue. Cerulean was left gasping, shoulders heaving heavily. Ketos noted that she was carefully avoiding looking into his eyes.
"What's wrong, little dragoness? Scared you won't be able to resist my good looks?"
Cerulean gave no response.
"The cold shoulder, eh? Maybe another bath will fix that."
Ketos threw his head forward to unleash another blast of water. But, quick as lightning, Cerulean whipped her head up and countered with her own frost beam. The boiling water gushing forth from Ketos's gullet changed from one extreme to another, freezing solid. Rolling off of his clever adversary, the sea monster clawed at his throat, suffocating on the ice. Cerulean used this time to right herself. Ketos manged to save himself by forcing super-heated water up his throat, a mixture of blood and the melted ice running from his nose. Breathing hoarsely as he rose to his feet, the ancient leviathan charged Cerulean, roaring uncontrollable in a rage. The marine dragon smashed into his more delicate foe, throwing her into a nearby groove of pine trees.
"That was a dirty trick!"
Grabbing a large chunk of ice knocked loose by his wave, Ketos lobbed it over his head, the frozen projectile making a perfect arc toward Cerulean...

And promptly stopped mere inches from her face. Cerulean eyed the icy projectile with contempt. When would this pathetic lizard learn? Water and ice was her greatest strength. And it would soon to prove to be Ketos' bane. The single ice shard was soon joined by others as the very moisture int he air froze solid, creating a halo of sharp ice crystals hovering over Cerulean's head. Ketos snarled and unleashed another pressurized guyser at her, striking her full in the chest and battering her bruised body even further. But this did not break her control over the ice, giving her the much needed opportunity to nail Ketos with a veritable hail of ice crystals.
Ketos staggered back under the relentless assault, more ice shards penetrating his already bloodied hide as Cerulean pressed the advantage. She fired her freezer beam, aiming at Ketos' maw, the ice crystals rapidly forming a muzzle over his soaked face. Within seconds, Ketos was effectively gagged and choking on the ice, as Cerulean closed in. Her talons dug into Ketos' flesh as she focused her hydrokinesis on his very blood, boiling inside his flesh. Ketos struggled to scream as he was cooked alive from the inside out.
As Ketos struggled and began to break the muzzle of ice, Cerulean conjured up another ice spike on her forearm and prepared to shove it through Ketos' gut...

As Cerulean lunged at him with her frozen weapon, Ketos grabbed it with one his clawed hands, stopping it- and its wielder- dead. With one great heave, he hurled Cerulean away. Tumbling through the air, the other dragon opened her wings to break her fall. A powerful jet of water exploded from Ketos's jaws, destroying the last of his icy muzzle and gushing towards Cerulean. The alien bio-weapon caught the blast in mid-flap, sending her crashing back down to earth. The she-dragon landed somewhere in the island's lush interior, the fragile tropical vegetation doing little to cushion her fall. Ketos took a moment to regain his breathe, breathing ragged. Perhaps throwing that ice hadn't been the greatest of ideas... Eyes flashing, the marine giant willed the waves behind him to intensify. Sweeping up onto the beach, a rush of seawater moved inland, the Demon of the Deep at its head. As he close the distance between him and his foe, Ketos forced the water to move faster, reaching an impressive speed quite quickly. Cerulean was soon in view, slowly picking herself up. Sliding to his hip on top of the wave, the sea monster delivered a heavy blow across her face with his crescent-shaped tail.
WHAP!
The she-dragon's head was thrown to the side, a bit of blood dribbling down her cheek as she gasped in pain. Then Ketos's wave dispersed and washed over her, leaving the Tyrant of the Seas on his feet, and very smugly at that. Coughing out a string of laughter, he stepped forward to strike her again. Just as he did, Cerulean made a swift motion with her claws and a patch of icy spikes rose from the wet ground. The frozen spear-tips pierced Ketos's webbed foot, their pure, crystal white covered in blood. Roaring in pain, Ketos ripped his foot back up, hopping about in a rather comical fashion.
"OW!"
Furious, Ketos pounced. Pinning Cerulean under his greater weight, the berserk dragon slashed at the other hydrokinetic's side. The she-dragon's molted hide was laid open, blood spilling out at an alarming rate. Licking his chops in delight, Ketos rose a great foot up and prepared to stomp down on Cerulean's ribs...

Cerulean screeched in agony as Ketos crushed her underfoot like a bug. Although she had lived through worse pain, it had been quite a while since anything had put her through her paces quite like this. She fired off a freezer beam at Ketos' face, binding the dragon and choking him on ice crystals once more, giving her a chance to rise and move away.
Ketos had thought to bring the battle to the island's interior. If she could not have immediate access to the water, she would bring the water to them. She took flight as Ketos broke free from the ice and snarled angrily at her from below, futily firing off more streams of pressurized water. But with his attention focused on her, he didn't notice the water levels around the island rising. Cerulean was having a hard time using any finesse with this much water, but then again, she only needed brute force, as she forced the water leels higher and higher. A mighty rumbling shook the ground under Ketos' feet as he turned to look, his eyes going wide for a second as a wall of water some two hundred feet high rose up and engulfed the island, smashing trees to splinters, turning the crystal ocean waters brown with muck and sand, and more importantly crushing Ketos beneath the sheer tonnage of the ocean itself.
When she was done, the island was almost entirely submerged, save for the tops of a few trees and some of the larger rocks. Ketos was floating face down when he broke the surface, perhaps knocked unconcious by the blow as Cerulean circled overhead. Rather than take any chances that he could still be alive, Cerulean generated another storm of ice crystals and dropped them on Ketos from above, piercing his back and tail, before firingher freezer beam at him once more...

The sub-zero blast struck Ketos's still form, icing it over. There was no movement from the sea dragon. Cerulean snorted, head held high in victory. She circled overhead, waiting for the match to be called in her favor.
Unknown to the extraterrestrial hydrokinetic, the heavy frost over Ketos's back started to melt. The water around the giant's limp body stirred, heating up. Soon, it was all the way up to a boil. With a sudden burst of motion, Ketos erupted from the water. The Tyrant of the Seas was still curled up, a powerful, pressurized jet of water pushing him straight up at an incredible rate. Cerulean's eyes darted down in shock as Ketos roared upwards. The bio-weapon tried to maneuver out of the way, but the other dragon slammed into her gut, spines piercing her underbelly. Blood flew from Cerulean's mouth as she was thrown violently by the enormous impact. Plummeting from the sky, the dragoness was helpless for a moment. But, regaining her senses, she unfurled her wings to catch herself mid-fall. She breathed heavily, clenching her stomach in pain. Frantically, the she-dragon glanced up, trying to track Ketos's plunge. He would be vulnerable.
He was right above her.
Tackling Cerulean with a laughing bellow, the Demon of the Deep wrapped his claws around her elegant skull. The alien creature's wings buckled under an extra 60,000 tons, gravity snatching her back up with a vengeance. Ketos's crimson eyes flashed. Below the two dragons, the ocean exploded, a massive column of seawater rising up to meet them. Cerulean hit the water first, the pure force pummeling her back hard enough to split skin. Ketos had a considerably softer landing, the screeching she-dragon his grasp acting as a cushion. Cerulean, trapped by Keto's strong grip, was force to endure an absolute bashing as the water continued to rise, the dragons moving in the opposite direction. This savage beating didn't stop until the tangling giants approached sea level. Ketos decided it was time to split, so he released Cerulean and dove gracefully into the ocean below, tail disappearing with barely a ripple. It took all of Cerulean's current strength and concentration to will the sea upward, its greeting much gentler than Ketos's swell. It wrapped its way around her, slowing her fall and carefully lowering her into its healing embrace.
The top of Ketos's head broke the surface like a crocodile's, the wicked intelligence in his eyes just as similar. Cerulean surfaced as well, body sore and bleeding. Ketos now regarded her with the tiniest flicker of respect. This was quite unusual for the self-centered creature. Cerulean had definitely left an impression on him. Her intricate water work was undeniably impressive and the raw power she had shown by demolishing the island rivaled Ketos's own. Of course he was still her better. Quietly submerging, Ketos rushed the injured beast with a flick pf his crescent-shaped tail. With a simple flick of her claws, Cerulean sent a volley of frozen spears at him, the sleek weapons cutting through the water with almost zero resistance. Ketos jerked out of the way, one of the icicles barely grazing him with a small cloud of blood. Barreling at Cerulean before she could launch another attack, he snapped his square jaws closed on one of her forearms. The dragoness winced in pain, the sea turning crimson around them. With a circular swing of his muscular tail, Ketos twisted, tearing further at his foe's flesh. Pulling away, Ketos ripped out a sizable chunk of Cerulean. Bearing it forward tauntingly, he spat the bloody scrap of flesh right at the other, more skilled hydrokientic.
Rearing back, the ancient dragon fired a geyser of water, the super-heated current speeding towards Cerulean...

The blast of water suddenly slammed into a hastily erected shield of ice, one that was quickly being melted through, try as she might to maintain it. But she didn't need to hold it for long. Just enough to keep Ketos focused on her and not the water behind him. It seemed almost like a blizzard in reverse as water rose up and froze in tiny droplets, each one scintillating with reflected light as they formed up behind Ketos. It was now or never.
Cerulean released her control on the shield as the ice crystals, now compresed down to a mere molecule thick, assaulted Ketos from behind, like a storm of tiny razors, each one penetrating flesh and scale with ease, as the storm of monomolecular blades assaulted Ketos. Blood sprayed in every direction as Cerulan kept her focus on Ketos, slicing and carving him up like a juicy turkey.
But Ketos was far from out of the fight as he charged through the blade barrier and struck at Cerulean, catching her in the wounded arm once more with his talons and drawing more blood, as well as a snarl from the dragoness. She had dealt with pain before. Hell, she had once had thrity different bones in her body broken. This was nothing it comparison. But it had been a long while since she had felt pain in any form. She dropped her control over the blizzard and generated another batch of ice armor, taking extra care to protect her already weakened hide, as she blasted Ketos with her freezer beam, driving him back with ice in his eyes, giving her a chance to take to the skies.
The guyser jump would not catch her off guard again, as she circled overhead, slow at first, but faster and faster, as the water around Ketos swirled with her, generating a massive maelstrom that sucked Ketos in, despite his best efforts to the contrary, smashing him into rocks and chunks of ice that Cerulean generated in his path. With a mighty roar, Cerulean forcibly ejected Ketos with a flcik of her wrist, leaving him on a trajectory for another wall of super-compacted ice...
