Immediately upon leaving the light of the teleportation beam, Tarakona scuttled along the cavern walls. Remembering this area from his last fight, he immediately set off to locate a body of water. The insect soon found what he was looking for: a large underground lake deeper than he was tall. The insect dropped from the walls and slipped into his new home, relaxing down into the sands at the bottom of the pool to rest. His brown carapace blended in perfectly with the murky dark water. Here he would remain unnoticed by all but the most keen creatures, keeping him safe from an predatory ambush...

Another ray of light soon appeared, heralding the arrival of another kaiju to battle the insectoid. But this was no predatory creature; rather, this was a monster from another world, a creature birthed from the fires of destruction, raised form the Doom Bringer's essence. The cave was soon lit up by a fiery light, as the rock hided form of Ontslaan emerged forth, ready for combat. Unleashing a powerful roar, Ontslaan flexed her arms and inhaled deeply through her nose, her oddly fleshy nostrils flexing as they took in this new and unfamiliar scent. The area was damp and cold- things Ontslaan was not a fan of, but she could handle. She sensed water nearby, and within it, some sort of organism. Ontslaan's jaws clenched tightly, as her eyes narrowed. She had been summoned for a fight! And a fight this creature would get!
Beating her chest and roaring loudly, causing her body to briefly become engulfed in a great conflagration, Ontslaan prepared for battle. There would be blood shed today!

From within the hub, a shady man watched over the fiery she-beast. Excellent. Things were going according to plan. His eyes soon glanced to another screen briefly, as he noted what was about to happen. Soon....

Irritated by both Ontlaan’s furious bellows and the booming voice of the UCA announcer, Tarakona sprang from the watery depths of the lake. His screech rang throughout the caverns as he swiped with an energy-coated arm. The claw-like pincers tipping the end of the limb failed to do much damage to Ontlaan’s rocky hide, but the force of the blow and the surge of energy was enough to knock the demon off her feet.
The monster howled in rage as she glanced down at her torso, melting under the acid-like qualities of the energy surge. The larval insect hissed in reply, pincers snapping in warning. He didn’t know just what this strange hybrid of flesh and stone was, but he didn’t like it in his territory. Not intimidated by the insect’s aggressive display, Ontlaan charged.
A cry of pain echoed across the cave as the brute rammed into Tarakona. The insect crashed against the cave wall in an explosion of rock. Ontslaan charged again while her opponent was on his back. However, as she reached striking distance, the powerful forelimbs of the arthropod shot up to meet her. The powerful grip of the pincers locked around her wrists. Using his own mighty strength and Ontslaan’s own momentum, Tarakona flung his opponent over his body and impaled her headfirst into the wall.
Furious roars and growls resonated through the rocks as Ontslaan, buried up to her shoulders, struggled to free herself. The blood she felt dripping down her forehead only increased her rage tenfold.
Pressing both arms against the wall, the she-demon tore herself out of her prison, only for a clawed pincer to latch onto her face. Green energy snapped across the insect’s spiny carapace and down his foreleg, melting dozens of deep gashes into her face and head, boiling the flesh underneath the rocky skull. Her second foreleg raised itself into the air, crackling with green energy. Tarakona screeched.
The energy coated arm swung at Ontslaan’s chest…

Ontslaan, not one to be taken lightly even when wounded, quickly grappled the insectoid monster's foreleg in her massive hand. The fiery monster's hand clenched tightly, her crushing grip hurting the monster, causing it to unleash a screech in pain, but Ontslaan pressed on. Willing up all of her incredible strength, Ontslaan swung Tarakona by the leg around her in a wide circle, smashing him into a nearby pillar and causing it to collapse, before she flung him wildly into a wall. The power behind the throw caused the wall to collapse on top of the armor plated beast. Ontslaan roared, the behemoth spreading her arms out wide in order to intimidate the smaller creature before her. Tarakona hissed, clacking his jaws as he pulled himself out from beneath the rubble, shaking off some dust and rocks from his armored carapace, some blood visibly gleaming off his head and shoulders within the eerie cave light. Tarakona screeched, before the beast rushed towards Ontslaan, to which Ontslaan countered with her own rush, the rocky monster and the massive aquatic insect stomping towards each other with great speed.
As Ontslaan barreled towards Tarakona, the insect lunged at the hulking brute, the force behind his lunge flooring the massive stone-fleshed beast. Ontslaan slammed hard onto the ground, the insect's claws flexing as he slashed towards her with his claws, striking the beast with his long, scythe like claws. Ontslaan snarled angrily as the massive arthropod battered her, before her knuckle spikes suddenly extended to create her flaming swords. With a roar, Ontslaan drove the blade right into Tarakona's gut, punching straight through the armor, drawing blood from the insectoid. Tarakona screamed in pain before Ontslaan leapt to her feet and tossed her over her shoulder, sending blood splattering down onto the cold, stony floor below. Tarakona rolled several times across the ground, his internal fluids dripping across the ground as the creature stumbled onto his feet, hissing at his massive, rock-like opponent. Ontslaan roared once more and rushed Tarakona again, extending her other knuckle spike, as Tarakona closed in as well.
Tarakona flicked his claws towards ontslaan's face, his claws coated in the strange acid, but Ontslaan was prepared. The fiery she-demon swatted aside the beast's sharp claws aside with her own blades, and delivered a vicious strike across the chest to the beast, her fiery blade biting into the arthropod's carapace, tearing a vicious gash across his chest, sending blood splattering across the cavern floor, as the blood on Ontslaan's blade fizzled and smoked, quickly evaporating form the heat of the sword. Tarakona snarled and clacked his jaws, backing off briefly in order to recuperate, but Ontslaan pressed her assault, withdrawing her swords into her hands, Ontslaan tore up a large chunk of rock from the cavern's floor and tossed it towards Tarakona....

The insect screeched and raised a massive forelimb the rock hurtled towards it. Its pincers slammed shut around the projectile as it made contact. Green energy surged from Tarakona’s spine, down his limb, and into the boulder. The cackling energy quickly surrounded the stone, melting its hard structure, but not before Tarakona threw the stone right back at the she-demon.
Ontslaan bellowed in rage as the boulder smashed into her head, shattering its structure instantly and sending the contained energy sparking up and down the upper half of her body, carving deep burns into her hide. Tarakona was quick to use the time to charge his opponent at top speed, horn surging with the same energy as it drew closer to Ontslaan’s chest.
For the first time in the duel, the demon let loose a cry of pain as the horn impaled itself into the glowing area of her chest. The energy of the horn erupted into her core, dissolving her internal structure in a storm of emerald hued lighting, occasionally blasting out of her rocky skin. Tarakona pulled his horn free of her chest, and molten blood began gushing freely from the wound to melt the cavern floor. Enraged, Ontslaan began to slam her fists upon the larva’s head, earning a piercing shriek with each strike. Instincts kicking in, Tarakona unleashed his labium!
Blurring faster than the eye could follow, the heavy, dense appendage slammed into Ontslaan’s knee. It was like a blow from a lightning-fast sledgehammer. The rocky armor surrounding the knee seemed to disintegrate from the titanic hit, the flesh underneath splitting apart and spraying demonic blood like a geyser. Ontslaan bellowed and aimed a swipe at her foe, but stumbled as her damaged leg affected her balance. Taking advantage of this, Tarakona swung a power forelimb, crackling with energy, at the side of Ontslaan’s head…

OOC: OH MAN I'M SO FAT
Ontslaan could do little to defend herself as the energy-covered limb swung towards her head like a mace. The poor eyesight of the behemoth prevented her form seeing the attack until it was too late to avoid. The clawed limb struck her in the side of the head, the bladed structure tearing into her rocky hide thanks to the acidic power of his claws! Ontslaan bellowed as her head was knocked to the side and she was nearly knocked onto her side by the impact. However, Ontslaan could not be kept down for long; like a raging bull, the fiery incarnate of fury rolled to the side, narrowly dodging a brutal downward strike from the Tarakona, before she used the momentum of the roll to rise to her feet. Ontslaan unleashed a powerful roar as she raised her arms, the Tarakona still recovering form its own blow, before Ontslaan slammed her fists full force down upon its back. Even with such thick armor, cracks formed form the power as Tarakona's body was smashed into the floor, the impact creating a massive crater in the ground that surrounded Tarakona's body.
Ontslaan placed a firm foot onto Tarakona's back, preventing it from escaping, before she began to unleash her pummeling. Her fists crackled with heat, as flames danced along her knuckles, rock and muscle flexing beneath the sea of hellish fire. Ontslaan's assault was relentless, and brutal. Punch after punch struck the back of Tarakona's head, like sledgehammers, smashing away at his exposed back and head. Each blow cracked and caved in the arthropod's thick shell, but failed to break through, even with all of ontslaan's near-unmatchable might. But like the rampaging behemoth she is, Ontslaan pressed her assault, her fists striking faster and faster as time went on, until finally, success was had- with one final, powerful blow, Ontslaan broke through the shell! Shards of carapace pierced into Tarakona's body, eliciting a screech of pain from the arthropod, as silvery blood dripped out from the wound along the side of the giant aquatic insect.
Ontslaan's foot raised slightly, if only for a second, but that second was more than enough for Tarakona to make his move. With lightning speed, the insect bolted out from under Ontslaan's foot, and quickly scrambled towards the water in an attempt to seize the upper hand. Ontslaan, in her rage, pursued, charging after him like a football player, her body engulfed in a cloak of fire. Tarakona was fast, but Ontslaan pressed herself to run even faster; when her opponent was within range, the fiery berserker lunged, bringing her entire body weight forward towards the insect. Just before Tarakona could reach the haven of the underground spring, Ontslaan's 80,000 tons of stony flesh and muscle crashed down on top of him, crushing him beneath her bulk. A burly arm wrapped around Tarakons' neck, holding the creature in place, as Ontslaan brought a heavy fist down towards the arthropod's already wounded head!....

Neon-green energy leapt off Tarakona’s carapace in huge numbers. The acid-like bolts danced across Ontslaan’s body and carved deep gashes into her stony body to burn the flesh underneath. Ontslaan’s chest, pressed up against her opponent’s thorax, took the brunt of the assault, and Tarakona’s sharp spines began to slowly sink into the softening armor pressing down against them.
The cavern shook as Tarakona planted her forelimbs into the ground, forcing himself up. Ontslaan rolled off before the energized spikes could do any more damage. Seizing his opportunity, Tarakona dived into the murky waters of the lake, disappearing under the surface.
Fire cloaked the raging demon as she gave chase, stopping short at the waters edge. A thunderous growl echoed across the caverns. Had her opponent already fled?
Two pairs of pincers erupted from the water. Ontslaan had only a brief second to feel their powerful grip around her ankles before she was pulled off her feet and dragged into the deep pool. As her body made contact with the water, the fires raging across her body began to extinguish. Tarakona’s titanic grip tightened on Ontslaan’s ankles, cracking her rocky skin as more pressure was applied. A powerful blow from Ontslaan collided against his head, forcing the insect to relinquish his grip. Swimming backwards, Tarakona began to circle his opponent, darting in and out of reach. Under the frothing water, the predator was in his element.
Ontslaan opened her jaws to express her rage, only for gallons of water to pour down her throat instead. Taking advantage of this unpleasant surprise, Tarakona flashed towards the enraged demon, labium crackling with energy.
Faster than the blink of an eye, the secondary jaw tore through water and slammed into the back of Ontslaan’s throat. The clawed tip ripped into the mixture of flesh and rock. The green energy sparked down her throat to wreck havoc on her internal structure, or blasted outwards to burn open gashes in her neck and jaws.
As the assault continued, the pincer tip began to close as Tarakona prepared to rip out a chunk of his opponent’s flesh…

The water was not Ontslaan's friend; in fact, it was her worst enemy. In the water, Ontslaan's internal fire was dampened, and reduced to near-nothing; without her internal fire, Ontslaan's immense strength is quenched, reducing her to a mere shadow of her former strength. But despite this, Ontslaan still fought against her underwater assailant, attempting to strike him with her powerful forelimbs. But the water impeded her movements greatly, merely causing the Tarakona to retreat rather than making impact with the aquatic insect. Ontslaan's neck ran red with blood, as the water became filled with her blood, surrounding her in a crimson plume. Stony flesh had been removed from Ontslaan's body, but not nearly as much as Tarakona would have hoped; Ontslaan's hide was firm, even with her foe's acidic attacks wearing it down. Ontslaan began slog along the floor walking across the bottom of the underground lake in order to reach land once more. But Tarakona was crafty, and attempted to deny her this.
With lightning speed, Tarakona shot towards Ontslaan, and slammed into her back, causing her to stumble and flip in the water, crashing back first onto the rocky floor. Tarakona seized the opportunity, and attempted to pin her beneath himself, claws at the ready. But suddenly, the unexpected happened. Fueled by Ontslaan's unending rage, and her desire for bloodshed, she managed to overcome the affects of the cold, murky depths and did the impossible: her internal fire ignited under the water! The water boiled as Ontslaan's flaming body lashed out against Tarakona, a powerful blow striking Tarakona in the chest! Fueled by Ontslaan's rage, the punch actually managed to crush some of Tarakona's concussion-resistant carapace, causing his silverish blood to mingle with the water, as he was launched upwards off of Ontslaan, breaching the surface from the blow!
Seizing her opportunity, Ontslaan quickly marched across the bottom of the water, the lake boiling from her flames. Ontslaan soon emerged from the water, her body dripping with water, steam rising from her infernal form. From the water, Tarakona burst forth once more, claws readied, as he lunged like a lion at his prey, hoping to tackle her and pull her back into the water. But this was not to be so. As Tarakona lunged forward, Ontslaan grappled Tarakona's head, before sliding back slightly from the momentum of the blow. As the insect struggled and shook wildly, Ontslaan lifted him over her head and, with all of her immense might, slammed Tarakona's head into the ground, creating a crater from the brutal impact and splitting parts of his thick carapace in the process.
Tarakona attempted to rise, shrugging off the brutal blow with surprising ease, but he would be denied. Ontslaan grabbed a nearby stalagmite and snapped it off from the cave floor. With a bellowing roar, Ontslaan brought the stalagmite down upon Tarakona's head like a baseball bat, striking the arthropod-like terataur with enough force to completely shatter the hunk of rock. Tarakona was floored once more, the blow furthering the crack formed from the face-first slam into the earth, causing the cave floor to become painted with silvery blood. Ontslaan snarled, and tossed aside the stalagmite before extending her wrist swords and thrusting them down towards Tarakona....

Tarakona had other plans.
His massive forelegs propelled him like ski polls as he threw himself at his enemy. Before Ontslaan could react, the insect's horn was shoved deep into her shoulder, helped along by crackling acidic energy.
His pincers gripped Ontslaan's arms as he used his new leverage to thrust the energized horn deeper. He felt a white hot pain in his side, and Tarakona's mandibles parted in a piercing shriek. Ontslaan was fighting back with her blades of flame! The insect's compound eyes locked on Ontslaan's glowing chest. Energy dancing around his secondary jaws, the terataur retaliated.
A blur of the labium. An explosion of stone. A geyser of blood. Ontslaan howled as the labium's energy assaulted her core. Each destructive bolt tore a new path of sizzling, melted matter through her body. The horn was pressing down now, the energy wrapped around it transforming it into a knife of sorts. Slowly, the energy and pressure carved an abyssal canyon of gore from Ontslaan's shoulder to her chest.
With an ear splitting screech, Tarakona shoved Ontslaan away with his huge forelegs. He watched as the demon tumbled towards a sharp stalagmite...
