There was a deep booming sound that woke Raptenator from his restful slumber, getting on the cyborg's nerves as he slowly glanced around to see just what was going on.
"RAPTENATOR! PLEASE REPORT TO THE TRANSPORTER!"
Blinking in annoyance the dinosaur opened his jaws and let out a long yawn, taking his time to stretch his tail and arms out, acting as if he never even head the announcement. If he was going to fight it would be on his terms under his will and he really couldn't care less what the stupid beings here tried to do to his body, after all it wasn't like he really felt pain. Raptenator didn't know if his captors had any idea how little he really cared about his own life, but he was more then willing to see how far they went before destroying his body and taking him away from this mess they called a game.
Suddenly a large metal arm came down from the ceiling, grabbing the small kaiju with ease before flicking him through the transporter, which the human at the controls had opened only moments before.
Raptenator stopped his forced flight with a few shots of his thusters, managing to come to a grinding halt just as the portal behind him closed off. The cyborg sighed before landed on the parched ground under his taloned feet. He glanced around slowly, finding himself in a land with cracked dry soil and rocks as far as the telescoping robotic eye could see. This wasn't much of a boost to the raptor's already nonexistent hopes for just getting a nice sleep and avoiding the fight completely.

Harbinger spent more time outside of his containment, roaming around Ujiak than he did inside. Periodically, he would see bright flashes of light in the sky. Investigating such things usually yielded excellent results. Today appeared to be no exception. The creature hanging out on the ground below him seemed like a fusion of saurian, avian, and machine. Although it was far smaller than he was, Harbinger knew from experience that small didn't always mean weak. Here was another chance, not only to hone his own skills, but to improve those of his opponent.
With a mighty cry that caught the attention of Raptenator, Harbinger leapt from the side of the cliff and curled into a tight ball. The mammoth saurian smashed and rolled his way downhill, generating something of a rockslide in his wake before finally bouncing, unfurling, and skidding to a halt in front of the startled Raptentor. When the dust settling, there was Harbinger, towering over his opponent, waiting for him to make his move.
It was time for the test to begin...

Raptenator took a sweeping glance at his foe, cocking his head to the right with a snort of annoyance. As a veteran of several kaiju battles the raptor could tell quite a bit from the giant made of armor and bone. It was clear to the kaiju that Harbinger was close ranged oriented and most likely didn't have an energy attack, but he knew that there was the slim possibility that his assessment could be wrong and the larger monster cold indeed have a ranged attack hidden up his scutes. He already knew it could curl into a ball and could travel quite quickly in sudden busts of speed, the trick would be to not underestimate the big lug's quickness.
"This.Shall.Be.Interesting."
The metallic voice range out as a fraction of a second later the cyborg closed the short distance between them, using his bladed arm as a lance he stabbed into the belly of the beast. He wasn't able to penetrate far as the blade wasn't long enough to cause massive damage from just a simple stab, but then he fired up his jump jets, forcing himself upwards and cutting a nice sized slash into the giant. But before he could go too far the massive clawed fist of Harbinger, it swatted the smaller kaiju away from his tender gut before Raptenator could reach any real vital areas, though the impressive gash was already bleeding quite a bit.
Raptenator recovered quickly enough, the hit didn't damage any of his systems, though it did leave his ribs a bit sore, even to a being who barely felt pain at all. Using his jets he caught himself in mid-fall and then boosted right up to Harbinger who swung his massive arms at the raptor, unable to hit the faster kaiju right away. The cyborg kicked out a foot, stabbing the claws into the flesh of the monster against before kicking himself upwards, further opening the gash he had created with three sudden slashes of his taloned hand, ripping away violently before he raised his cannon arm up as he used his speed to deliver a powerful blade tipped uppercut to the armored kaiju's lower jaw.
The hit sent Harbinger stumbling backwards with a growl of pain, a new rip showing up on the monster's lower jaw, another plume of blood to add to the small pools gathering wherever it set foot.
In this distraction, Raptenator charged his plasma cannon to max just as he landed on Harbinger's head, aiming the weapon right at the other kaiju's skull for a point blank shot...

Harbinger ducked his head as the plasma blast washed over his scutes. The intense heat was far greater than anything he was able to ignore, but for the most part, all it did was scorch his scales. Harbinger returned to his upright position, smoke rising from his back, and snorted the dust out of his nostrils. The pain his new enemy generated was tolerable, for the time being. It was time to see if the reverse was also true.
Harbinger charged in, moving surprisingly fast for something so massive, before smacking Raptenator upside the head with one armor plated fist, sending the smaller monster tumbling away. But Harbinger was far from finished. Soil and sand churned beneath his feet as he pursued Raptenator, grabbing the smaller monster by the tail as he tried to scrabble away, before lifting him overhead and slamming his down. Back and forth Harbinger went, leaving a pair of identical blood-soaked craters on either side of him, before slinging his catch at a nearby cliff face, the same one he had come rolling down.
But Raptenator was fast and resiliant. Despite the beating he had recieved, the smaller kaiju managed to activate his boosters, slamming into the side of the cliff feet first, before rocketing back at Harbinger, firing a barrage fo plasma as he came. The searing blasts scorched Harbinger's armored hide, but did nothing to deter the larger saurian. Harbinger just charged forward to meet the enemy, one fist raised.
The two collided, like a freight train running over a sedan, as Harbinger's greater mass enabled him to overpower Raptentor easily as bring him to the ground with a thunderous crash. Harbinger snarled as he whipped around, tail scutes spread, as he prepared to bring it down on Raptentor's head...

Firing his thrusters once more, the cyborg just managed to escape the swing of the larger saurian's tail as it took a good chunk of the planet where it slammed down. Raptenator quickly flipped up onto his taloned feet before he was off again, jumping into the air his cannon began to hum with power. Harbinger swept his tail up with a low growl, batting the flying kaiju out of the air, slamming the dinosaur into the ground. The hit was quite a powerful one, the half metal monster didn't seem to be getting up from the small sand pit that was created from his crash landing.
With a snort Harbinger stomped over to Raptenator, raising a claw as he took his time to aim the blade like scute on his forearm, making sure that this time he would not miss. But before he attacked the reptile heard something, it was a bit hard to hear over the blowing winds of the wasteland, but it was still there. Then all of a sudden Raptenator raised his cannon arm, the fully charged plasma blast shot out, hitting Harbinger high in the chest, blowing open his flesh was frightening ease as the beast was force backwards, falling to the ground with a low groan.
Raptenator opened his eye and slowly rose up from the sand pit, dusting his battered body off with his talons before turning his eyes once more on his foe. He took a single step before launching into the air and coming down on the other kaiju's exposed stomach, digging his foot claws in to Harbinger. With a roar the other reptile took a swipe at the raptor who just jumped up over the powerful limb and crash down claws first for the second time, digging his talons in just to cause a little extra pain.
Placing his hands to the ground, Harbinger began to rise, eyes locked on his smaller foe as he managed to get his feet back on the ground. Raptenator was baring hanging on by this point, after a moment he let go, falling back first as his robotic eye began to glow. From the optic came a red beam, it swept across the taller kaiju's body, leaving a line of torn and burned flesh in it's wake.
Engaging his boosters once more, Raptenator flew up and out of the reach of the flailing Harbinger. The cyborg hovered a good couple of meters out of reach as he charged his cannon once more, taking his time to aim it as he knew full well that Harbinger would not be able to reach him without wings or a ranged attack. Even now when most kaiju would smirk or find joy in tormenting another, Raptenator just bore the grim frown he always had, showing no emotion at all as he open fire on the land locked reptile with plasma cannon fully charged...

Harbinger reacted quickly, wrenching a massive chunk of rock from the desert floor as Raptenator fired. The plasma blast collided with the boulder, shattering it and pelting Harbinger with burning fragments, but otherwise leaving him unharmed. Raptenator snarled briefly, but showed no other emotion as he began charging his weapon again, preparing to end his enemy.
But Harbinger had plenty of rocks and strength to spare. But most rocks, as he wrenched another one loose from the earth and launched it at Raptenator. The faster monster dodged, but it threw his aim off, as a second rock headed his way, which he also dodged with ease. But soon, the air was filled with flying rocks as Harbinger tore up the landscape around him in an attempt to hit Raptentor. Raptentor kept dodging until one finally found it's mark, after Harbinger correctly predicted the way he would jink to avoid a hit. Raptenator's thrusters failed momentarily as he tumbled towards the ground below...and the waiting arms of Harbinger.
Harbinger siezed on the opportunity, grasping Raptenator's leg and slamming him to the ground before pummeling him with his other hand, digging spike extended. Blood and fluids sprayed from the wound in Raptenator's chest, but it did nothing to slow down the smaller monster, a she fired his optic laser at the saurian, grazing him across the face and causing Harbinger to back off for a moment.
However, despite his speed, Raptenator could not escape in time as Harbinger closed in again, slamming his armor plated fist into the raptor's mechancal eye. Sparks flew from the cybernetic implant as Harbinger whaled away at it, before finally extending his digging spike and preparing to end it by driving it through Raptenator's head...

Aided by only a dull sense of the damage being done to his body, Raptenator had no problem in lashing his tail at the ground, using the blades on the end to move his head out of the way of the blade ended fist which came down like a ton of bricks. The smaller kaiju did avoid having his skull caved in, however his flesh and blood shoulder took a glance blow, dislocating it as well as putting a heavy slash mark across his scales.
Ignoring the small shocks of pain, the cyborg rolled out of reach before flipping up onto his feet, then in a sweeping arch he fired his plasma cannon. Several smaller balls of burning energy shot back at the massive reptile's exposed stomach. Reacting swiftly Harbinger pulled his arms together, creating a shield out of his armored forearms which took the brunt of the blow, though the heavy scutes were singed quite a bit.
Using then distraction the raptor leaned his flexible neck out and took a hold of his limp arm with his jaws, then with a sudden snap he pulled the joint back into it's socket. The kaiju rotated his arm once or twice just to make sure that it was going to be usable in the fight. Speaking of which, Harbinger was already advancing on the dinosaur, pulling both arms together he stuck them out like some sort of massive lance.
Like before, Raptenator broke into a run as well and for a moment the light boned monster looked like he was going to meet his foe head on. But at the last moment, the smaller kaiju dodged to the right, suffering only a small gash across his lower stomach as he jumped up onto the arms of the now surprised Harbinger. Leaping up again, using the lance positioned arms as a diving board, all of the little monster's weight was propelled up from the raw strength of his legs. Then he engaged his slightly damaged boosters, gaining another burst of speed as the metal and real killing toe blades of the raptor were dragged from Harbinger's lower jaw across the reptile's face, just barely missing the monster's eyes.
As the slower giant began to turn, blinking rapidly to try and keep the blood out of his eyes as well as keep the more agile kaiju within his sight, a low hum could be heard. Then like a bolt of lightning, a massive force slammed into Harbinger, knocking the beast onto his stomach as the armor around his shoulders and back started to crackle, warping lightly and even burning in some places as the potent plasma took it's tole.
Hovering in the sky, Raptenator turned off his jets and placed his real hand on that of his cyborg one, bracing it as he went head first into a dive. He was aiming directly at the still smoldering weakened armor of Harbinger's back, with the incredibly sharp arm blade at the point of the fall, the raptor engaged his boosters once more to put just a bit more punch behind his strike.

Harbinger, reacting entirely on instinct, did the only thing he could think of to avoid being skewered. He rolled over onto his back, hoping his timing wasn't off by even a fraction of a second, leg muscled coiled and ready to strike. Down came Raptenator, like a meteor, right as Harbinger lashed out with his feet, striking the smaller monster in the chest. But Raptenator's momentum was so great, it carried him forward still, his arm blade driving into Harbinger's armored belly, but perhaps not as far as it would have otherwise.
The resulting clash sends Raptenator tumbling overhead before slamming into the ground, the metal plating on his chest caved in and his flesh badly battered. Harbinger returns to a standing position, tenderly holding his wounded chest. He is quite impressed with this smaller creature. It shows great fighting prowess. Now, all he had to do was see how long it lasted.
Harbinger charged in once more, tackling the smaller monster before pummeling him with a series of strikes, smashing the smaller creature into the dirt. Blood and fluids leaked from the dozens of wounds Raptenator had sustained as Harbinger lifted his opponent overhead before slamming him down again, piledriver style.
Raptentor tried to crawl away, but was intercepted once more by Harbinger, who grabbed the monster by the tail, preparing once more to throw his opponent around...

Raptenator was having a bit of trouble as he tumbled through the air, his thrusters were firing off randomly, making him spin around violently instead of righting himself. So the little kaiju crashed down rather hard, for a moment the dinosaur just laid there, even the dim light in his robotic eye flickered off.
Harbinger was weary of course, his foe had tricked him by playing dead once before and the reptile was not one to fall for the same ploy twice. Slowly he moved closer to the fallen raptor before whipping his tail around to send a hammering blow to the monster's back. Even if Raptenator did get up, Harbinger made sure that his tail crushed the already damaged boosters on the back of the cyborg. In case the smaller kaiju was still willing to fight, Harbinger was making sure that flight would be taken out of the equation all together.
Just as the reptile took his eyes of the prone body, he just barely noticed a twitch before the raptor seemed to just spring back to life, leaping up with his powerful back legs.
Landing high on Harbinger's chest, Raptenator dug his hind claws in deep before using his bladed arm, swinging it in great archs he carved a giant X into the larger kaiju's chest. Then before Harbinger could react the raptor leaned up and locked his jaws around the lower section of the giant's throat.
Harbinger brought his powerful arms around to grab at the smaller kaiju, but found it hard to both pull the midget off and fight to breath at the same time. But just as he was getting a firm grip, tugging hard at the dug in raptor, the reptile heard the ominous hum of the plasma cannon.
At point blank range at fired, cooking the chest and underbelly of the larger monster in a sudden explosive shock-wave of fire. The force from this blast shot Raptenator away from his foe, only to land quite gracefully on the ground with a few minimal burns.
Harbinge on the other hand had no such luck. The beast was swept off his feet only to come crashing back down a few meters away. Most of his softer flesh was cooked, smoking and even parts were still burning as the monster lay there for a moment to catch his breath and deal with the tuck load of pain that was throbbing inside of his skull. The tooth marks on his throat weren't so bad, he could still breath easily enough and given a moment or two he would be able to keep on fighting. The much larger gashes on his chest however were nicely cauterized by the plasma, so no more blood would be lost there. Though the slashes did weaken the flesh enough that the plasma wrecked more damage then it normally would have, burning away small chunks of muscle and fat, turning them into nothing but vapor.
Raptenator advanced on the fallen kaiju, taking a few controlled steps before putting on a burst of speed. He then leaped up into the air, aiming his cannon down as he fired off a volley of smaller plasma-balls, right for his prey...
(Okay, I did this a little strange so I'm giving a rundown of my attacks here. The leaping on and digging in his claws started off the combo of his first attack, followed by the two slashes to make the X which is three. He ended his combo with a fourth, bite to the throat and all. His second attack was the close range plasma blast. His third was when his claws and fangs were ripped away from Harbinger by the cannon. A two combo, claws and fangs.
Just adding this so we are all clear.)

A number of explosions rocked the valley as Raptentor's plasma blasts exploded on and around Harbinger, sending up plumes fo smoke and debris, obscuring even his enhanced senses. When the dust finally settled, all that was left was a smoldering crater where Harbinger had been. Raptenator patrolled the area for a moment, more than a little perplexed at this new turn of events. Even he knew his plasma cannon wasn't that strong. Unfortunately for him, his assessment was proven right, as the ground beneath him splintered and a massive fist spiked it's way out before clobbering him under the jaw.
Harbinger emerged from beneath the ground, smoldering, but alive, as he proceeded to lay into the prone Raptenator. The sounds of bone on flesh echoed in the otherwise still air as Harbinger smashed his fists into Raptenator's belly and flanks, before whirling about and delivering a nasty slam with his tail, the bladed scutes lacerating the raptor's flesh.
But Harbinger was far from finished. He aimed to see this through, all the way to the end. As Raptentor tried to rise, Harbinger smashed his head into the ground once more, streamers of blood and mucus flying from his damaged face. Static and blood blurred the cyborg's vision as Harbinger raised both fists high and prepared to bring them down on his enemy's head once more...

After being dead for so long, the cyborg's robotic eye flickered back to life, sparking violently before sending out a beam that lanced across the exposed potion of Harbinger's arm, causing the monster to stumble back in pain. Such a direct attack to the skull might have ended Raptenator if he hadn't forced his foe to back off and give him some breathing room...which he ironically didn't need since he had little use for lungs.
With a hiss the raptor flipped up off his back before jumping up and using his bladed cannon, delivered a devastating uppercut which cut a good long gash from the utter chest to just under the reptile's left eye. This forced Harbinger back even further as the plucky cyborg unleashed a flurry of blows from his cannon, using it more like a club as it crashed into the reptile's skull time after time.
Dazed and a little lightheaded Harbinger lashed out, catching his smaller foe in the chest at the height of the smaller monster's leap, sending the raptor bouncing back into the ground with a heavy thud.
Slowly the cyborg rose again, showing no signs of feeling any pain from his beaten and battered body. Then he leaped up onto the larger monster once more, using killing claws and cannon blade as he carved new rivers of blood through the other kaiju who was already recovering from the knocks to the skull Raptenator gave him not long ago.
With an annoyed growl Harbinger wrenched the dinosaur away from his bloodied body, holding the squirming beast at an arms length to keep himself from being cut up further. But as Raptenator wormed, the cyborg managed o get his cannon free and aimed it right at the neck and lower jaw of Harbinger just before shooting a half charged bolt...

Harbinger reacted on instinct, tossing the other monster away and throwing off his aim in the process. Harbinger's flank was merely scorched as Raptenator skidded to a halt a short distance away, upright and ready to fight. Harbinger charged forward, picking up momentum as he went, while Raptenator began to charge hsi weapon again, ready to fry his adversary. But as he closed the distance, Harbinger curled his ligs up against his chest, tucked his arms in and thundered towards Raptenator as a curled up ball. This sudden change in tactics threw Raptenator off for a few rpeciosu seconds, as he tried to decide whether to fire or get out of the way.
His momentary indecision cost him, as Harbinger bowled over him like a freight train, crushing the smaller monster under bladed scutes before coming to a halt on the other side and unfurling. Raptenator was picking himself out of the dirt, when a massive armor plated fist slammed into him from behind, smashing his face back down into the earth. Harbinger kept one hand planted on the back of Raptenator's head as he punched the other monster in the spine, digging spike extended. Blood and various other fluids sprayed from the wounds Harbinger was generating, as his digging spike tore through flesh and metal, nerves and wires, like it tore through solid rock.
Harbinger then reared back for a haymaker, planning on driving his spike into Raptenator's back once more...

The claw stabbed squarely into the gut of the raptor, the cyborg's flesh and blood eye raised a scaled eye-ridge at the attack, acting as if the larger monster had flicked the dinosaur's nose instead of inflicting a supposedly mortal wound. Calmly Raptenator lifted up his cyborg arm, firing at close range at the larger monster's head. Harbinger barely had enough time to shut his eyes before the blast surrounded and cooked his skull as well as sending him flying up and into the air for a few meters to come crashing down.
As Harbinger recovered from that last attack, his foe began to stand. There was the sound of gears grinding as well as one or two plumes of smoke from the monster's metal parts. Even now Raptenator didn't seem to care, striding over to the other kaiju with a gaping hole in his midsection, thick molasses like blood dribbling from the wound with every step. The raptor stood over the other kaiju, powering up his cannon once more as he aimed it at the chest of Harbinger.
However, the downed reptile had counted on this, lashing out with his tail the heavy limb smashed into the other kaiju's legs and launched the raptor into the sky.
As he fell back towards the ground, a growling Harbinger already getting a follow up attack ready, Raptenator managed to squirm around in the air and get his cannon trained on his foe.
There was a thunderous boom as a massive ball of plasma shot forth, enveloping the left arm of the reptile in blue flames, causing him to cry out in pain. The raptor then corrected his flight, landing on the shoulders of Harbinger once more. The cyborgs optic eye was lighting up, the only warning that a sudden beam of energy sliced out, ripping down the front of the already enraged monster. Harbinger managed to swat at the smaller kaiju with his non-burning arm, causing Raptenator to jump off, doing a back-flip in the air as well as firing his cannon again, aiming for his prey's armored back with another fully charged plasma shot.
