"Owwww..." Crigan winced as he slowly came to. The Legendary raised up his head, and looked around. He was still in Mara's room, and though the Kitsune was still asleep in the regeneration chamber, he had no clue how much time had passed.
"Damn you Persephone! You twist my life upside down and now you trap me here...Just what do you have planned?" Crigan hissed to himself. He looked over at the resting Mara, his expressionless face hiding waves of determination. No matter what Persephone had in mind, he would take Mara out of here, and turn her back to normal, no matter what!
Unfortunately, the Queen of the Damned had other plans.
" Crigan, report to the teleporter immediately. Your first fight is about to begin, a 2 on 2 battle." Persephone's voice rang out over the intercom. Crigan glared at it, read to burst it apart... until he noticed the turrets lowering and aiming at him.
"Damn it all." He hissed in irritation, before he flew into the teleporter. There was a blinding light, and the next thing he knew, he was in the midst of a vast savannah, that streached as far as the eye could see... Now, all he had to do was find his partner...
___________________________________________________
"Asmodeus, report to the teleporter! Your next fight is about to begin."
The announcement caught the Cosmic Devil off guard, and caused her to let go of her ice cream cone, which fell to the floor. The demoness glared daggers at the intercom, before she walked into the teleporter. Her rest had been ruined, though her injuries had already healed. Plus, her icecream was now wrecked. Oh well, atleast she'd unleash her anger in this fight... thouhg she'd still perfer to thin of how to get rid of Armageddon once and for all...
____________________________________________________
A bright light flashed to the right of Crigan. The serpentine drgon turned, and saw someone whom he had never seen before, but fascinated him nonetheless. She was surprisingly.. pretty, for such an abnormally large humanoid being.
Asmodeus turned to look kat him, and their eyes locked. Unbenownst to either of them, their fate was intertwined, both long before, and long after this incident.
Asmodeus snorted. " Got a problem with what you see, whelp?" The demoness grunted, the words stinging Crigan. She snapped her fingers, and befor ehis eyes, Crigan saw her trasnform into a massive, imposing dragon, one that radiated evil from within. "Better?" She growled, her purple tongue sliding out of her maw.
Crigan could only nod, and float away. If this was his parther, then he wanted nothing ot do with her. He could sense the evil radiating from her, and it made Persephone seem very, very insignificant...
But as he was about to find out, the other fighters that were to come weren't exactly options...

Another burst of light was visible at the other end of the field. Soon, a large, metallic emerged, sole eye glowing intently. The machine marched out into the wide open plains of the Savanna, arms raised for combat. Soon, it spotted its opponents: a wierd, spectral beat of some kind, and a large, imposing dragon. The machine soon initiated a scan, starting with the ghost.

The mech groaned, steam jetting form its limbs, as it prepared for battle... ____________________________________________________
Sejanus watched Ferrum from the safety of his quarters. He wanted to see himself how well the mech would do. Rukh said this mission was of utmost importance, and if this prototype failed, theey would have little to fall back on for their mission for conquest. he honestly didn't care, but Sejanus had great respect for Rukh word, and thus here he is, watching the prototype engage in combat with.... god knows what.

A little ways back from Ferrum, a dark silhouette materializes out of thin air. Noticing the two enemy monsters staring at something behind him, Ferrum turns to see what the fuss is about. If it is another enemy to fight, Ferrum will have to appropriately prepare to tear some organic ass and bathe his steel body in their blood.
The shadowy figure is accompanied by some mysterious gusts of wind around it, and warped air to distort the shape. Crigan dismisses it as a mirage, and Asmodeus is too high on adrenaline to care, but Ferrum continues to stare. The blurred image actually is an optical illusion, and suddenly the gusts of wind cease, and the air around it clears. What began as a hallucination, turns into one of Earth's protectors (now a guardian to this planet). The green leathery form of Furcer, the Adaptive Earth Guardian, is revealed, summoned by the planet; and as soon as he sort of "materialized" from a/the mirage, he treks forward to close off the couple hundred meters separating the titanic reptile from the sentient being. As the titan trudges forward, Ferrum locks onto the creature and analyzes him.
The mech’s schematics reveal Furcer to be “one of the good guys.” Now standing side by side, Furcer looks to the still-staring with his cold, lifeless optics and growls to sort of say, “Hey, I’m here to help you!” He’s here to stop the dragon’s impending reign of terror. Her intentions are as black and evil as her heart, and if she is left alone to her own devices, she’ll bring about the extinction of the planet’s nature. As for Crigan…guilt by association. Any being that’ll stand with that dragon and let her act out her evil aim, let alone aid her, will meet the same demise.
Furcer shakes his head as he emits a long hiss. The tint of his body adjusts from green, to an assortment of dark and light gray. Along with the color alteration, Furcer’s body becomes harder, and grows ridges. His body literally becomes stone; stone that cannot be chipped away.
Furcer settles on starting the fight in his gray stone adaptation. He slams his clenched now-rock fists together in preparation to kick some ass and protect. As they crash together, they emit the low distinct noise that a pair of rocks make when they slam together.
Now all that’s left is for an unseen force/being to confirm the start of the match.

The mech groaned aloud as it prepared itself for combat. The two creatures spread out, each attempting to get an advantage over him and his reptilian compatriot, but Ferrum had other plans. The mighty metal titan made a gesture to Furcer, directing him towards Crigan, before he made a gesture towards himself before pointing at Asmodeus. While primitive, the message was clear: the two were to keep the other monster proccupied to prevent one getting ganged up on. Ferrum rushed immediately towards Asmodeus' draconic form, ready for blood.
As the fearsome mech blindly charged her, Asmodeus fired a blinding beam of fiery energy towards Ferrum. As the blistering blast of heat tore towards him, ferrum immediately halted, before he rose his arms up to protect his torso. The beam slammed into him, sending him sliding backwards, his heavy feet making tracks in the Savanna earth. As the flames subsided, his arm armor was scorched by the beam, but overall he was okay. As the mech glanced up, he saw Asmodeus soar overhead, blood red pinions spread wide,as she made a dive down towards her robotic opponent.
His hydraulic joints hissing, Ferrum suddenly hopped up into the air, startling Asmodeus, before the mech's torso slammed into her own, knocking the breath out of her. Ferrum soon descended down, his jump jet saving him from a harsh landing, but Asmodeus was not as fortunate. The hapless demon slammed into the ground, creatign a large crater upon impact. Ferrum whirled around, eye glowing red, as he noted Asmodeus already rising to her feet. His turrets whirred menacingly, before a barrage of missiles tore through the air and slammed into the Harbinger of Death, a thick cloud of smoke obscuring her vision while making her temporarily invisible to the mech.
But she was about to get help from an unlikely source. As Ferrum marched towards Asmodeus, he suddenly saw a blue ball of fire fly towards him at high speeds. Ferrum hopped over the fireball, and manded with a mighty thud, as Crigan rushed towards him in an attempt to get into melee distance. Ferrum was ready for the ghost being, however, and gave him a vicious right hook across the face, knocking the eldritch creature backwards and sending it sliding across the earth for a good 30 meters. Ferrum stomped toward him, and as the phatasmic beast glanced up, he could see Ferrum bringing both his fists down towards his head, ready to crush his skull like a tomato...

Crigan might have been a pacifist by nature, but he wasn't going to let his face get caved in.
Before the mech could swing his hands down, another blue fireball flew from Crigan's maw at point-blank range and exploded against Ferrum, propelling the machine off his feet and onto his back. The serpentine giant rose back up into the air, and was preparing yet another one, when a certain giant dragon was sent flying into him, cusing both of them to sprawl head over heels on the ground.
"Gosh dangit! get back here, you damn chameleon" Asmodeus roared in rage as she got back up and charged at Furcer, more or less ignorant of Crigan. The ghostly dragon shook his head in pain. Great teammate he got...
His thoughts snapped back to reality as he heard the hydrolics of Ferrum go into overgear, the mecha getting back up and charge at him. Crigan, preparing himself, flew right toward him... before vanishing at the last moment.
Ferrum stopped, then began to scan the area around him, trying ot search for the ghost... where had it gone off to?
behind him.
Sharp claws raked down the bac of the machine, tearing through his armor like it were butter. Ferrum whirled, and launched his ballistic missles...
Which mised the invisible foe and instead hit Asmodeus, who was busy fighting Furcer.
The Cosmic Devil turned her gaze, and glared at the machine. If it could feel fear, then now would have been the time. The demonic dragonlowered her head as Furcer swung a stone fist at her, then clamped down on his arm, and using her strength, swung him at his partner in retaliation....

Don't think that last bit with Asmodeus is within the rules, giratina. I know they're both your monsters, but try to stick with one doing damage per post. Not gonna penalize ya', just don't do it again.

Asmodeus calculated wrong, and the stone chameleon flew past Ferrum and landed about 40 meters behind him. Thanks to the stone form he adapted, the damage from the rocky (no pun intended) landing is minimal at best. In his current state, Furcer is well protected against physical attacks. Furcer trudges towards his serpentine foe with a clenched fist relaxed at his side. The two monstrosities come face to face; and immediately, Furcer throws a momentous right hook at Asmodeus' left cheek. The strong blow from the rock-hard limb puts a strain on the dragon's neck, and leaves behind an area of swelling. Additionally, it knocked a fang loose from her jaws. Asmodeus spits a mixture of saliva and blood (with the dislodged tooth in the center) to the ground and puts the throbbing warm soreness of her cheek and stiffness of her neck at the back of her mind. However, Furcer had decided to swiftly follow up with his jab by grabbing either side of the dragon's head firmly and pulling it forward as his solid forehead thrusts straight ahead and smashes into Asmodeus' cranium. This forces the dragon to stumble back and shake her head in a daze. In her blackened mind, Asmodeus contemplates, “Damn you, you cursed mammal!”
In retaliation, Asmodeus strafes her Heat Beam diagonally down the Guardian of Nature’s front side. It leaves a row of black-as-coal charred/singed stone. It does not do as much damage as Asmodeus initially intended, however, thanks to the stone that Furcer’s flesh converted into at the start of the match.
For his third attack, Forcer bends and holds his arm while he drives his jagged elbow weapons into his foe’s chest. The penetrating attack progresses with a couple sprays of blood as Furcer moves his elbow’s stone blades around inside the wound. After some moments, the chameleon violently rips the bodily weapons away and feels satisfaction over his attacks on the evil beast. The Guardian heaves a massive boulder nearby in the air effortlessly (though it is twice his size/width), and hurls it at the dragon. While she’s still a little dazed from the stone-solid hits to her head, the boulder closes in on her, aimed to strike her in the chest…

Even when dazed, Asmodeus was still more than capable of defending herself.
The dizzy demon launched out another heat beam, her head swinging in an odd direction, causing the beam to slice through the rock and cause it to explode. the heat beam blasted into Furcer, knocking him back abit, but otherwise not doing much.
Finally, she managed to get back to her senses, and shaking her head, glared at Furcer. How DARE this fool knock her around like that!
Beating her wings, the dragon took to the air as Furcer got back up. The chameleon-like creature stared up t her, before it began to change color. It's once stone-grey hide was now red and blue. Asmodeus simply chuckled, figuring that a color change wasn't going ot do much to her.
Boy, was she wrong.
flame churned inside the chameleon's maw, before, to the Cosmic Devil's surprise, it let out a heaat beam identicle to her own. Asmodeus didn't have any time to shield herself as the beam collided with her, almost blasting her out of the sky. barely managing to keep herself up, the dragon reared her head back, before a single fireball flew from her maw. The guardian tried to get away, but the blast of the resulting explosion caught him, and sent him sprawling on the ground.
A grin spread across the shapeshifter's face. After loosing to Armageddon, a thought tht burned her from the inside out now, this "Guardian" would befall the same fate that countless others like it had in other universes. Folding her wings in, the August Star of Heaven divebombed down, ready to slam into the recovering chameleon...

As the dragon divebombed towards her opponent, Ferrum held off Crigan for just long enough to launch a flurry of missiels right into the draconian menace, hitting her dead on. The bloud of smoke and force of the missiels knocked her off course just enough to prevent her from striknig her target; instead, she was sent skidding across the ground. Furcer glanced to Ferrum, acknowledging the act of teamwork. Ferrum was unable to reply back, however, as Crigan's sharp claws raked across his steel torso once more.
The claws left slashes deep into the mech's torso. Ferrum groaned as he turned around, searching for his ghastly opponent. But the eldritch creature was nowhere to be found. The mech scanned the area, attempting to find his foe. Suddenly, he saw a blue fireball flying towards him. The mech countered with a plasma blast from his eye, causing the orb to blow up prematurely. Crigan immediately rushed towards Ferrum in an attempt to get into melee range. Ferrum, however, decided to let him this time.
As the phantom dragon lashed out with his talons, Ferrum used his armroed forearm to block the blow, and immediately coutnered with his offhand, slamming his steel fist right into Crigan's face, sending him reeling backwards with the fearsome blow. As he was recovering from the previous assault, He heard the sound of two heavy orbs dropping. As Crigan turned back to ferrum, he was buffeted with a flurry of blows in the form of Ferrum's.... flail hands? Before he could fathom this engima, he was sent flying through the air again and sliding across the ground. Ferrum hissed with joy, as he stomped towards Crigan, mace hands still extended, as another barrage of missiels flew out from his shoulder turrets...

Crigan howled in pain as the missles exploded against his hide. Ferrum moved in for the kill, the mecha raising up one of its arms, preparing to bring down the mace upon the demon's head.
Suddenly, several of the shadowy tendrils flailnig out of the mutated creature's body shot out, and wrapped around the arm, restraining it. Ferrum, alarmed, tried to yank back, to free himself, but the grip of the Legendary was too much, and Ferrum was tugged off his feet...
..and into a primed Focus Blast, created by the claw-like wings of Crigan.
The orange sphere exploded against the machine, and sent him flying through the air, before he hit a tree, his momentum causing him to snap it, the tree collapsing ontop of him.
Crigan looked at what he had done as he levitated into the air. This kind of fighting, while he frowned upon it, was something he had gotten used to by now. In the past, wherever it had been an unholy conglomerate of demons created by Persephone's forces, or someone threatening Mara's life, he had dealt with them harshly and swiftly, bu the had never killed. If possible, he had either sealed away or otherwise spared whoever he had fought, and he had a feeling that, in this place, he could go all-out without killing anyone..
With that, the serpentine abomination of good flew forward, his claw-like wings glowing red as he prepared to slice into the downed Ferrum...

As Asmodeus dive bombs, Furcer morphs once more into the familiar rock form to protect himself and buy more time to recover. As Furcer sluggishly rises to his feet, his draconic enemy slams full force into his rocky back. The jagged edges cause minor cuts to her forehead, but the solid exterior of her adaptable enemy protects him from extensive damage. The wave of impact travels through Furcer’s body and minor damage is inflicted, but his form change countered the dragon’s attack more than anything else. Upon impact, some cracking noises emanated from the neck region. Striking Furcer at full speed in this form was like dive bombing a giant boulder. A shockwave travels through her body (staring at her head) from striking such a hard, immobile surface. She bounces back in the air and lands on the ground where she remains motionless and suffers from a warm soreness branching out from the sensitive bruise on her forehead.
The somewhat hunched-over chameleon lifts the dragon by her neck and curls his right hand into a fist. The chameleon delivers a strong, damaging kidney punch to Asmodeus’ left side. An unexpected spray of saliva roars from her fang-laced mouth upon impact, and the strong rock form of the fist adds additional pain to the kidney punch than a regular one would inflict.
With her forehead throbbing, neck sore, and kidney/side tendered and painful, the dragon is quite disorientated. Furcer keeps his fist dug into the dragon’s side, his left hand clenching her throat, and morphs into a mixture of yellow, gold, and navy blue. A few small bolts of electricity cackle around both hands before Furcer delivers a shock through the dragon. Her bellows indicate her particular weakness to electricity, an important fact that Furcer will keep in mind for the future. After a handful of seconds, Furcer lets the dragon drop to the ground. Some leftover bolts of electricity flash at random points of her body, and the shocking pain is a lot to deal with. Tortuous...agonizing... While he has the upper hand, Furcer launches a charged pressurized stream of cold water. Surging with electricity for the purpose of inflicted added damage to his prey, Furcer sends his electrified stream of water heading towards the dragon’s form…

The demonic entitycould only howl in ablosute pain as the electrical water ravaged her being. The shapeshifter seemed to light up like a christmas tree as she was shocked alive.
But even that wouldn't prevent her from striking back.
ignoring th epain in her neck, the Entity of Lust reared her head at Furcer and unleashed a heat beam right at the chameleon. The beam naield him ni the stomach, not only sending him toppling head over heels, but also making him hault his assault, giving Asmodeus enough time to assess the damage. With her neck killing her, and her head bruised, she wasn't liking how this was going. Now it was just getting pathetic. Sure, she had weakened herself to 1/10th of 1% of her true power just for the UCA, but here she was, getting owned by a "Guardian". She, the Cosmic Destructor, the Bane of Existance, deserved better than this.
Atleast her tying with Fernis and getting maueld by Armageddon, who didn't seem to weaken himself as much as she did, were justified.
Now, the dragon, letting out her primieval howl that instilled fear into those who had seen her destruction firsthand, charged at Furcer, who was getting on his feet. The chameleon rolled out fo the way, and launched an electrical blast into her side. The demonic entity, ignoring the damage the best she could, whirled around, and let out her poisonous smog from her maw, which began to flow over the battlefield.
At this point, she just hoped her partner was immune to her miasma... either on his own, or by virtue of the UCA's generosity...
