Darkness... and then, a light. Hyperion's eyes slowly opened up, and the great dragon looked around. Where was this place? The last thing he remembered, he had been fighting against those that had dared to rebel against him, and a sharp pain had been driven through his head, and now, he was in some sort of cavern, with an opening far off in the distance. Ahead of him was a strange light that seemed to come up out of the ground. A voice called out in a tongue he didn't understand, but the dragon crawled toward the light, and almost mesmorized by it, entered into it.
The next thing he knew, he was in a desert, sandy plains all around him. The change in scenery caused the dragon to go on the alert, wings stretched out, and fangs bared. How had he gotten here, and where was this place? What was going on?
Thus was the effect of a creature out of his time and place, being brought into the UCA. He had no idea that his body had been used earlier by the Ruler of Hell... or that he was now about to enter into a fight...

A ray of light slices through the wasteland, before a white form blazed forth from the heavens. The sun shone off the bird-like monster's feathers, making him appear to glow like an incandescent light bulb. The light-wielding creature used his intuitive skills and keen hearing and smell to locate the gargantuan foe he faced. Crimson eyes narrowed, as the creature's talons stretched and readied for action.
Auroros recognized this creature's aura.... it felt familiar, but he could not name the reason why. The feathered fiend let out a screech into the heavens, the winds buffeting both fighters in the hot and dry desert-esque arena. Auroros was ready for action, and he would have this demonic entity destroyed before it could corrupt anything or kill anyone.
"Prepare to be smitten, foul scourge! Return to your pit!" Auroros cawed.

Hyperion's eyes locked onto Auroros as he appeared. Who was this creature to appear before him, and what was the meaning of this? The beast shook his head. That did not matter to him. What was before him was imperfect and would thus be destroyed. The demonic dragon stepped forward, and started off with a single fireball, to test his opponent.
Auroros took to the skies, the fireball sailing underneath him harmlessly. The Guardian Of Eternity swooped down upon him, and Hyperion found himself being clobbered by Auroros. "Your filth will be wiped away, demon." Auroros hissed as he flapped away just in time to avoid Hyperion's claws.
Though he could not understand what the beast was saying at first, all he needed to do was read into it's mind, and when he did, Hyperion's eyes narrowed. Then, in a dark booming voice, he howled, "Filth, ME?!?! You are but a flaw in this flawed dimension! I shall turn this universe into one without flaw, but first, you must perish." With that, Hyperion's wings began to beat, electricity sparking all around him, before it leapt out at Auroros. The Bringer of Dawn tried to dodge the assault, but the lightning struck him dead on. Auroros cackled in pain, before retaliating with a ray of light from his mouth, at the same time that Hyperion unleashed more lightning, the two attacks heading right for the other...

The two weapons of magic collided with each other, creatign a blinding flash of light in the process. Lightning and light struggled to overcome one another, energy sparknig outwards in a particularly violent fashion. Eventually, neither attack got the edge, and instead, they erupted outwards in a blast of energy, that floored Hyperion with its power and sent Auroros into a downward spiral, before he promptly colldied with the ground.
Like a beast, Hyperion crawled toward Auroros as soon as he had recovered, snarling angrily at his foe. The bird creature quickly managed to get to his feet and flap his wings clean. Just in time, too, as Hyperion struck at him with one of his massive forearms. Quick as a lightnnig bolt, Auroros dashed out of the way and took to the skies, leaving the draconian brute to smash the earth, leavign a deep crater in his wake. Auroros cried into the sky, before he unleashed a deadly ray of light at his foe. The beam washed over Hyperion's form, flesh singing in a matter of seconds and smoke and ash fluttered in the breeze.
The dragon snarled before he launched two consecutive fireballs at his foe. Like mighty eagle, Auroros swuiftly maneuvered out of the way, before he launched an orb of light from his tail. The glowing sphere made contact with Hyperion's face, and creating a bliding flash of light in the process. Hyperion stumbled back, rubbing his eyes in an attempt to recover. As the big lug struggled to regain his focus, Auroros divebombed him, raking his sharp talons along his foe's head as he passed, leavign a deep cut. Auroros turned to face his foe, who soon turned back towards the bird.
"You will suffer for that!" Hyperion bellowed.
"We'll see about that, big boy," Auroros quipped. The dragon was clearly not amused, but did not get to react, as Auroros spat another ray of superheated light his way...

As the beam of light spiraled toward him, Hyperion's wings wrapped around him, the beam hitting the webbing of his wings, which, though he did feel the pain, took the attack quite nicely. onc ethe beam ended, the wings furled back, and the Ancient Ruler of the Abyss stepped forward, and let out a howl that seemed to mend into the desert wind, a howl that sounded more like a raging hurricane than that of a primieval monster. Clouds gathered overhead, and Auroros was surprised to find that giant chunks of hail the size of buildings were now raining upon him. The Guardian shrieked out as he was pelted by the endless hail, while Hyperion chuckled, the dragon seemingly oblivious to the hail even as it struck him as well.
Auroros glared at Hyperion when the hail finally ended. No one laughed at the Guardian of Eternity! With a powerful beat of his wings, the entity flew up, then divebombed down toward Hyperion, ready to pelt him once more...
But Hyperion, to his surprise, wasn't gonna fall to the same trick twice. As Auroros neared him, he ducked his head, twisted, and his tail struck Auroros in the lower chin. Pain exploded across the being's face as the force of the tail impact sent him spiraling out of control, until he smashed into the ground.
But he didn't even have time to rise abck onto his feet when he felt Hyperion's claws tear into his back. Blood gushed out of the wounds as the Fiery Menace pinned Auroros where he was with a single foot, the demonic dragon preparing a single fireball in his mouth...

Much to Hyperion's surprise, however, he felt his foot begin to grow warm. Before he realized it, Auroros' body became a glowing source of light, and a blinding flash shot out from his form. The draconian creature could feel his flesh be scorched from the intense heat generated in the eruption of energy, and his eyes were blinded with the blast. Hyperion snarled in a mixture of pain and confusion. The gargantuan monster stumbled back on his hind legs, grasping his face in visible pain, smoke trailing off of his form as he attempted to regain his eyesight.
Auroros groaned as he rose to his feet, bloodied and bruised. His feathers were stained crimson from the strike, and his chest was stained with dirt. The Guardian of Eternity screeched aloud as he flew up into the sky once more. Hyperion, having regained his sight once more, locked his gaze upon the sky beast as he circled overhead, akin to a gigantic hawk. Auroros soon launched another assault, sending a flurry of boomerang-like light blades into Hyperion's back, leaving deep lacerations, and minor burns. The burns didn't bother the big brute too much ,due to his fire-resilient hide, but the cuts struck deep, and that made Hyperion angry. Was he not superior? Did he really get hurt by the pint-sized creature flying overhead?
Hyperion bellowed angrily, before he aimed his head up and spat a flurry of fireballs into the air. As Auroros passed overhead, the fireballs came down towards him. The bird-beast sensed their approach, and gracefully dodged out of the way.. of most of them. One fireball slammed into the Bringer of Dawn's back, setting it aflame and sending him into a downward spiral. The bird monster squealed in pain before he slammed into the sand back-first, extinguishing the flame, but also hurting Auroros a great deal.
The sky creature soon got back to his feet, sensing Hyperion stomping towards him. Though he could not see it for himself, the burly draconian demon approached like a great lizard, legs sprawled out across the ground as the muscular being's limbs propelled him forward with surprising quickness for one so large. Auroros hissed, and sent a ray of light into his foe, scorching his foe's flesh a bit more before he took to the skies, flaunting his air superiority at his bulky foe. The big lug clearly did not appreciate the gesture, and spat another fireball at his foe, but Auroros simply dodged to the side with ease. The bird beast dove down, picking up a large stone lying in the sand he had felt earlier when he had been shot down by the brute's wing lightning, before he flung it in Hyperion's general direction, aiming for the face...

The rock nailed the mighty dragon in the face, but aside from that, it did very little to him. Hyperion retaliated by launching a single fireball at the bird, but Auroros swerved to the side, and easilly dodged it. A demonic smile spread across Hyperion's face. Imperfect though this beast was, he was putting up a good fight. It had been countless millenium since he had last battled, and this was helping to get him back into the swing of things... plus, now that he had read the creature's mind, he could understand the tongues of those here in this place...
The foot of the great dragon stamped down, and beneath Auroros came up a vicious firestorm, one that locked him in place. the skin and hide of the being of light burned and caught alight as he was being roasted to death inside the firestorm. To add in a little flavor to the assault, the wings of Hyperion began to beat, and winged lightning shot into the fiery tornado, striking the trapped being, Auroros's cries of pain brinigng a satisfied look to the Fiery Menace's face.
And then, the twister dissipated, and Auroros plummeted to the ground, his entire body burning, and severe scorch marks all over him. To Hyperion, he looked dead, but just to be certain, he lumbered over to the still being, then raised up his tail, preparing to smash it down upon the Dawnbringer...

Auroros, unable to dodge out of the way, felt as the gargantuan dragon's tail slammed into his form, burying the hapless creature's face into the sand of the wasteland and forcign his body into the ground. Hyperion grunted, turning himself around, before he examined Auroros. Hyperion sniffed his foe, and prodded him with sharp claws. Auroros stayed still, resistign the urge to cry out or move. Hyperion soon stopped his investigation and roared in victory. But it was a victory assumed to soon.
Suddenly, Just as Hyperion was about to desecrate the foolish bird's body, the creature's form became extremely bright, before a blindign flash of light erupted from the feathered beast's body like a kaiju-sized flash grenade. The flash blinded Hyperion once more, and scorched his thick scales, smoke visibly rising from his body from the attack. Auroros groaned as he rose to feet, before he flapped his wings clean and took off from his location. Staying on the ground any longer would be risky, as he had already beaten pretty badly.
Hyperion was clearly pissed off by this action, and went off on a tirade.
"You filthy bastard! You worthless coward! You primitive imbecile! I'll beat you so bad, bird, that you'll have wished that you had never been born!"
Auroros simply cawed, before his talons glowed bright as well. The bird beast launched his attack like boomerangs, before the attack sliced into the creature's flesh, leaving gashes on his chest and minor burns (not that this bothered the venerable dragon too much). As Hyperion's sight began to come back, Auroros flung an orb of light at the dragon, which unleashed yet another flash of light. The dragon was stunned once more, giving the bird beast enough time to unleash a sun ray from his dirtied maw towards his humongous opponent....

The sun ray nailed Hyperion, adn though it did little in terms of actual damage, he retaliated in full force. Though still blinded by the light, the dragon wasn't going to let that stop him so easily. Why attack with something that was bound to miss when you could assault the target with something that was bound to lock in on him? That was precisely what Hyperion was thinking when he unleashed his wing lightning. The electricity struck Auroros, and to the bird's horror, he found himself paralyzed, as he plummeted back down to the ground he wished to avoid. The Guardian of Eternity crashed down once more, just as Hyperion, shaking his head, managed to regain his sight. The demonic dragon lumbered toward the paralyzed Auroros, bent down, and clamped his jaws around his neck. Pain shot all through Auroros's being as Hyperion effortlessly lifted him off the ground, then began shaking him around like a ragdoll, before letting go. Now, massive puncture marks lined up Auroros's neck, blood oozing from the injuries, as Hyperion prepared to bring down his front two feet upon his neck...

As the front paws approached Auroros, the bird being darted out from below his foe with surprising speed, causing the deadly brute's tonnage to narrowly miss him. Hyperion grumbled, as he saw Auroros shakily fly away. The wounds were having an effect on the exhausted sky beast, blood staining his beautiful white feathers and dripping down his neck. The sky creature breathed deeply, whirling himself around with his talons glowing, before he flung them at his gargantuan foe. The talons tore into his foe's hide, but he countered the attack with a vicious fireball that shot the majestic white bird from the sky.
Auroros collapsed, his breathing heavy, before he got back to his feet. Just in time, as he saw Hyperion's heavy talons raking towards him. Thinking fast, Auroros hopped back, and countered with a light ray to the face. The beam made Hyperion cover his face to prevent himself from being blinded, the superheated ray scorching his scales; this action gave Auroros enough time to get airborne once more. Hyperion growled, shaking his head as he locked his gaze back onto Auroros.
The dragon spat a fireball at Auroros, but the sky beast managed to avoid the fireball despite his exhaustion and extensive wounds. Auroros countered with a sphere of light, that soon collided with Hyperion's torso and erupted light, stunning Hyperion long enough for the white lord of the sky to dive down from the heavens and dive over Hyperion's head, claws readied for blood...

(OOC: Lost track of time...)
The great Hyperion howled in pain as Auroros clawed away at his head, blood spilling from the wounds inflicted by the bird's talons. The dragon arched his head down and his back upward, allowing him to swat Auroros's head with his wings. the blow didn't do much to the Guardian of Eternity aside from knocking him back...
but that was just what Hyperion wanted.
His wings spreading out once more, lightning arched and crackled as it shot out and electrified Auroros point-blank range. the demon hunter's eyes began to water as the painful attacks took their toll, allowing for Hyperion to follow up with a fireball as well. This third and final attack brought the mighty Auroros back down to the ground, where Hyperion eyed him, his front feet glowing as he prepared to bring them down onto the ground...

Auroros could only brace himself for impact as Hyperion's heavy frame slammed itself down on top of the Guardian of Eternity. An intense, mind shattering, bone crunching, eye popping pain erupted within every inch of Auroros' body. The pain was so horrible, the once mighty demon hunter could barely bring himself to move. At this, Hyperion simply laughed. He laughed at the pitiful creature's agony, and becuase he had much worse in store for the feathered bird-dragon.
"Do you understand now, peon? Understand why you must be purged?" Hyperion taunted. " Because YOU ARE WEAK! All of you! Especially a pathetic, pea-brained, stupid, demon-purging imbecile like yourself!"
Not only couldHyperion not resist gloating, but he also couldn't resist looking Auroros in the eyes while doing so. The feathered sky king locked his gaze with Hyperion's, when an emotion crept its way into Hyperion's soul. He could feel himself shaking, and his heart began to race, hundreds of nightmarish thoughts ran through his mind at the same time, and the world seemed to spin wildly, Hyperion became panicky, almost spastic as he looked about. He couldn't comprehend what was going on. But Auroros could- he could sense the emotion dwelling within Hyperion's chest.
It was terror. Raw, unadulterated terror.
As Hyperion underwent his spazz attack, Auroros got to his feet and spat a ray of sunlight at his foe. Unable to defend himself as he panicked, the sun beam washed over Hyperion's form. The beam of light sliced its way across his body, engulfing him in nightmarishly hot light. Smoke and ash flaked off his scales, and some parts of his body even caught aflame. But, Hyperion soon calmed down, and dispersed the flames on him like they were nothing. The heat didn't do too much to him. And now, he was pissed at that pint sized creature, and the fact that it had nearly bested HIM, the almighty Hyperion!
As Hyperion turned around, he was suddenly met by a blinding flash of light that erupted from the (now airborne) Auroros' body. Once more, intense light scorched Hyperion's fire resilient body (though did very little actual damage), and stunned Hyperion, though not as long as Auroros would have liked, for Hyperion was growing used to that boring old tried-and-true tactic of the bird's. Hyperion spat a fireball at Auroros, but the white guardian evaded the attack and countered with a lightning fast divebomb. Hyperion attempted to snatch Auroros out of the sky with his jaws, but the bird dove down too fast for him to react. A flurry of claws sliced and diced across the former Abyssal lord's visage, leaving deep cuts and letting blood drip down from the wounds.
Auroros flew away as soon as Hyperion unleashed a coutner attack, and quickly whirled around to catch a glimpse of his foe far below him. Hyperion roared into the heavens, clearly unhappy with Auroros, before he shot a flurry of wing lightnnig that laced its way across the sky. Auroros turned around, firing his light ray at the attack. The two collided, and immediately got into a beam war...
