(Continuing off from Vishnu vs. Cerataurus) ucarena.proboards.com/thread/1344/vishnu-mans-greatest-sinvs. ucarena.proboards.com/thread/1259/tarakona-underwater-predatorThe two titans faced each other off. One, the mighty Vishnu, loomed over his foe, but he was injured. the other, Taranoka, had no such injuries, and was in better shape. for all those watching as the two prepared to square off, it seemed like Vishnu would be fighting at a disadvantage... suddenly, a beam of light surrounded the lobster. Taranoka stepped back in surprise as it saw the torn apart hand, the cracked carapace, and the burnt hide of Vishnu all undo themselves before the technological healing prowless of the UCA. As soon as it had come, it was gone, and Vishnu looked down at its claws... good as new, in its eyes. Then the lobster let out a deafening roar, as the voice of the UCA boomed out, "MONSTERS... FIGHT!" (Posting order for this matchup is Dan, then KK)

Vishnu clacked his mighty claws, sapphire eyes locked firmly upon the form of his opponent. This creature was of no importance to him. He had not wronged him, nor had he attacked him... there was no reason for the two to fight. Vishnu turned his back to his opponent, and began to wander away... a poor choice, to say the least. Suddenly, from behind, Vishnu was struck, the vicious terataur smashing head-first into his back, its massive horn striking Vishnu's toughened carapace before the beast collapsed face-first into the earth. Vishnu stabbed his claws into the ground, slowly pushing himself up, as Tarakona rushed in, its labium covered in a strange energy. Vishnu's head turned, eyes filled with rage, as he lifted one of his shoulder claws as his opponent approached. As Tarakona closed in on his slowly rising form, Vishnu struck down, the spear-like appendage striking him in the shoulder, piercing through his tough shell and stabbing into his insides, silverish blood spilling forth from the wound.
Tarakona howled in pain as Vishnu used the stab wound as leverage, hoisting Tarakona over his head like a mere toy. The arthropod hung from the tip of his claw like a flag, the beast's eyes filled with rage as it struggled to grasp his foe. Vishnu simply snarled, before he grappled two of Tarakona's limbs with his armpit claws, the teeth digging into the tough carapace, before Vishnu pulled out his shoulder claw with an audible *SWIK* and lowered his foe to the floor, delivering a powerful stompnig blow to Tarakona's face, forcing his limbs away form his body while pushing the arthropod's head into the earth. The pulling motion threatened to rip Tarakona's limbs off, blood visibly dripping from cracks beginning to form along his chitinous hide as the tugging motion threatened his integrity.
However, Vishnu had learned his lesson from the UCA... he would play by their rules. Vishnu relinquished his grip and removed his foot form Tarakona's face, giving the creature enough tiem to roll onto its feet... only for it to suddenly be clobbered form the side by a powerful, invisible blast! Tarakona was sent flying off of his feet and through the air by a magnetic blast, the arthropod crashing through a building before rolling several hundred meters through the streets, causing wanton destruction in the process. Vishnu roared before smashing his way through a building, sending rubble and dust everywhere, before he rapidly clacked his claws together and unleashed a heat wave towards Tarakona, setting the entire area in front of Vishnu aflame from the heat!...

Tarakona sprung away before the sea of fire hit him, throwing himself behind a large block of buildings with his powerful forelegs. The insect quickly ducked down behind the series of buildings, attempting to stalk from behind cover and blindside Vishnu, but unbeknownst to him, the lobster’s electromagnetic eyes could see him lurking from behind cover.
A huge pincer came crashing through a building near him. Tarakona sprang aside again, narrowly avoiding its blow. Surprised by the sudden attack, the terataur leaped right at the lobster. His powerful forelegs grappled with Vishnu’s equally powerful giant pincers, and the two monsters pushed against each other. Tarakona tried its tactic of crushing the opponent’s wrist in his pincers, but Vishnu’s armor seemed incredibly resilient to crushing pressures, much like his own. The terataur quickly realized that he would have to resort to other tactics, fight him as though he were fighting one of his own.
His bulbous eyes saw the second pair of arms reaching out for him. Acting quickly, his labium surged with energy and shot out at blinding speeds. The heavy, sharp tip smashed into Vishnu’s chest armor like a high-speed battering ram, caving in a portion of his chest and lodging the secondary jaws deep inside. The energy danced across his armor, melting the area around the wound as though it were an acid. Inside, the pincers unfurled, grasping at the meat inside. With a violent tug, Tarakona pulled his jaws free, tearing a large strip of flesh out through the hole with it.
With Vishnu distracted for a moment by the pain, Tarakona pulled himself free from the grapple and propelled himself to the side with his forelegs. He lunged, crackling horn pointed at Vishnu’s knee. The titanic lobster screeched as the horn pierced between the armor and deep into the joint, and the energy surge began its work, burning away at connective tissues and muscle, and eating away at the protective armor surrounding it. By tilting his horn down, Tarakona forced the lobster’s leg to the ground. In that moment, he pulled free and sprang at the downed monster’s back.
His powerful forelegs grabbed the thinner shoulder claws, holding them in place before they could lash out. The terataur focused his strength into his right leg, and with all his might pulled the lobster’s pincer back. It bent and creaked in protest at the joint, and the muscle began to slowly tear strand by strand. Blood spurting from the joint, Vishnu’s larger pincer reached around and gripped the insect before further damage could be done. With his great strength, he hurled Tarakona away, watching the monster crash to the streets below.
Shrieking, the terataur picked itself off the ground, watching his opponent with wary eyes. Vishnu’s shoulder pincer was damaged and weakened, but not useless. The lobster too hobbled to his feet, knee spilling blood onto the rubble below.
Tarakona’s body tensed, ready to spring away at a moment’s notice. The cunning monster was on the defensive, waiting for Vishnu to make the next move instead…

Like a god of war, Vishnu rose onto his feet, pushing himself up off of the floor using his massive shoulder claws. Clacking his claws menacingly, Vishnu glared intently at Tarakona, blue eyes glowing ominously through the thick smoke cloud. With a bestial roar, Vishnu gathered magnetic energy close to his chest, particles drawing themselves close to the mammoth crustaceon's chest, as he launched at Tarakona like a meteorite. Acting fast, the aquatic arthropod hopped to the side of the blast, an eruption of earth and dust being formed, before he lunged at Vishnu, slamming his horn full force into Vishnu's already damaged chest, cracking the damaged shell and drawing milky blood from the wound. Vishnu howled in pain as he was nearly knocked off of his feet, the force causing the behemoth to skid along the ground, blood splattering across the earth.
Vishnu snarled as he opened his maw and thrust his head forward, the air distorting slightly around the area of his mouth in a straight line towards Tarakona. Before the hapless creature even realized what happened, Tarakona suddenly felt himself seize up uncontrollably, body violently shaking as the particles of Vishnu's electron breath ravaged his innards, the already existent wounds beginning to violently spurt blood. Vishnu approached the downed form of his opponent, eyes watching his helpless enemy with an animalistic curiosity. This was quickly overcome with feral aggression, however, as the massive behemoth placed his foot onto Tarakona's back to keep him pinned, as he repeatedly stabbed into Tarakona's armor with his claws.
Like a maniacal murderer slicing up his victim, Vishnu stabbed Tarakona over and over again, his claws like spears tearing through an animal's flesh. Several nasty holes were punched into Tarakona's carapace, puncturing meat beneath and spilling silvery blood all over the streets. Vishnu's shoulder claws became stained with the blood of Tarakona, glistening silver from all the gore staining them. Eventually, Tarakona fought off the pain and the paralysis, and shook Vishnu off, causing the behemoth to nearly lose his footing. As Tarakona turned to face Vishnu, he was suddenly greeted with a blast of superheated air!
Tarakona screeched as his body has suddenly engulfed in a great conflagration, the arthropod rolling around on the ground as his body began to become charred and scorched, wounds quickly cauterizing and body burning up. Vishnu stomped towards Tarakona as he struggled to extinguish himself, as he launched another magnetic blast at him, the earth tearing itself apart as the blast rapidly approached Tarakona!...

The magnetic blast smashed into the insectoid creature, tossing it further down the street. Tarakona shrieked as he landed on the street, but his carapace, specially designed to absorb concussive attacks, had kept him from serious harm. His smaller legs bunched up beneath him as he hissed, and the two massive forelimbs picked his body off the ground. As Vishnu bellowed a reply, Tarakona threw himself towards Vishnu, horn crackling with energy.
The solid heavy spike crashed into Vishnu’s gut, pushing past the melting armor and into his softer interior. Blue blood sizzled and evaporated under the energy, but Tarakona didn’t stop its assault there. Its massive forelimbs grasped Vishnu’s shoulders for leverage, before the terataur began forcing its horn upwards! Though it was not a tool designed for cutting, the green lightning like energy was acting like the blade of a knife, slowly melting the armor in its path into a softer paste that could be forced apart by the horn itself. The crackling horn carved its way up Vishnu’s chest, spilling a tidlewave of the lobster’s blood to the streets below. As Vishnu finally struggled free of Tarakona’s grasp and tore himself away from the weapon, the terataur lunged up towards Vishnu’s face. The labium smashed into his throat like a battering ram. Vishnu’s bellows were cut short by the blow, and the lobster was left gagging as foam spilled from its mouth. The armor of his neck was now cracked and weakened, the jagged pieces cutting into his flesh below.
With the lobster stunned, Tarakona resumed his focus on the chest. His massive claws dug into the vertical gash he had carved into the armor, and with his titanic strength, the insect began to slowly force the armor of Vishnu’s chest apart. Blood spurted out onto the monster’s face as the once thin gash widened considerably, exposing the meat within.
Not wasting any time, Tarakona’s labium lunged out, the pincers outstretched to tear at the vulnerable flesh…

As the beast's labium attempted to pierce into Vishnu's softened armor, the mammoth crustacean grappled the beast's head with his crusher claws. Intense, unimaginable pressure overcame his opponent's head, the incredible pressure actually beginning to crush his opponent's exoskeleton, drawing silvery blood in the process! But Tarakona refused to back down, even when Vishnu threatened its physical safety, and struck Vishnu in the chest with his labium. Vishnu bellowed out in pain, releasing his grip on Tarakona in the process, though the flailing of his limbs kept Tarakona at bay once more. Vishnu clacked his jaws and snapped his claws at Tarakona as he rose onto his hind legs, eying his opponent like a wolf staring down its prey.
As Tarakona rushed him once more, Vishnu rapidly gathered electromagnetic energy towards his core and unleashed a powerful magnetic blast, the force of the impact with Tarakona's head causing his weakened exoskeleton to split and crack, shredding chunks off carapace in the process (though the rest of his carapace was fine due to less damage having been done to it). Tarakona's frame was launched off its feet, and sent crashing through multiple buildings before landing in a heap in a pile of rubble. Tarakona got up surprisingly quick, Vishnu approaching his opponent while the arthropod attempted to get up.
The two quickly closed the distance and prepared to go at it with one another. Using his superior reach to his advantage, Vishnu stabbed Tarakona with one of his massive shoulder claws, piercing through the armor like a pick through stone. Tarakona grumbled in pain as the spear-like appendage withdrew, silvery blood spilling onto the floor like a river, as Vishnu thrust his other shoulder claw forward, prepared to impale Tarakona once more...
